My experience with the Urban in relation to my mom has been great for years. Unfortunately, at the age of almost 80, my mom became incurably and suddenly very ill. Her living will took care of everything. Now I was allowed to accompany my mom on her final journey to the end. I was by her side non-stop from Friday to Sunday. She fell asleep peacefully and relaxed. Thanks to the Urban, thanks to the people who work at Station 71. A team like this, with such kindness and warmth, is unlikely to be experienced a second time at this time due to Corona. Thanks to you. You are fantastic. LG Siegfried

I had to stay in ward 53 for a week. I don't think there is any need to talk about the catastrophically broken health system in Germany. But it is important to say about the equally terrible working conditions under which the nurses in particular suffer (understaffed, underpaid, not really well equipped, at more than 30° without air conditioning, etc.); They keep the store together under these conditions and are still friendly and accommodating. But if they finally took to the barricades, they would have my 100% support. Things can't continue like this for them or for the patients.

The medical treatment in urology was top notch. Rooms and food were OK. When you share a room with Arabs, you never have a quiet moment, the family is always there.

3 hours into my hallows eve bar shift at neukölln alternative music venue (dressed as a hybrid of 2000’s era Paris Hilton and elf) i experienced a small mishap and was transported by ambulance to the the local area hospital. my injury was not life threatening so i was wheeled into the waiting area lounge. the 3 hour wait was generally uneventful with the exception of one man who’s combination of substances led him to repeatedly propel himself over the side of his bed face planting onto the floor and multiple attempts to remove his IV drip. The staff were friendly and courteous and seemed to have at least a basic knowledge of dungeons and dragons as some of my intake questions included, alcohol consumption, substance use, what blood thinners i might be on and what elf class I belonged to (wood, moon or high elf). the doctor who administered my stitches, making polite conversation asked if there was not a wizard or cleric employed by the venue who could have cast a healing spell. unfortunately my first round of stitches and bandages didn’t take, which I realized as taking an obligatory bathroom selfie (i spent the majority of my 6 hour stay generating social media content to pass the time) and noticed a disconcerting amount of blood pooling beneath me. in an attempt to find hospital staff i left a 15 meter trail of plasma throughout the hallway which the janitor who eventually found me was very chill about. after another round of bandages was applied it was finally time for me to say goodbye to all my new friends at the hospital (including my favorite guest, who 2 hours after his ghb overdose, dressed in head to toe mesh and leather bondage gear was making out with someone in the lobby while waiting for his uber back to the club) what i lost in blood that day i gained in memories 10/10 (i WILL come back here)

I was in this clinic for four days and felt like I was in good hands there. The doctors, nurses and nursing staff were all competent, very friendly and patient. Despite the stress they have every day (I know something completely different here in Wiesbaden). However, if you think you are in a hotel there (unless you are really bedridden, where everyone tries to do justice to the patient), then you have missed the idea of a hospital. The only drawback - but it's the same in every hospital - the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.

staff here was so SO rude. If u don’t speak German then don’t come here. Unfortunately I had to because I had a deep cut on my leg. I was wheeled around for ages not being told what was going on or where I was being taken. Left in hallways for ages. Finally when it got round to my turn I was crying because i was all alone and I was scared. None of the doctors that saw me (there was between 4/5) even asked if I was okay the whole time I was being treated. They laughed and chatted amongst themselves in German while I was sobbing. It felt like I didn’t exist. I had to call a family member because I felt so alone during the procedure and the nurse said it was rude of me to use my phone while they were “trying to explain something to me.” After I was given a bunch of medication and crutches. I was only briefly shown how to use the crutches before being shown the exit. Wasn’t told how long I had to keep the cast on for, why I had a cast, when to take the medication… etc. then I was left to hobble out of the hospital on my own on the crutches I didn’t know how to use. the whole situation has left me really traumatised do not come here

Broke my leg after being pushed on the u-bahn track after being robbed. I was submitted to this hospital. After waking up the next day and telling a few people i was in there they didn't seem too happy about it after reading the reviews. I had to get 2 operations of my ankle and was in there over 2 weeks and i have to say the level of care was fantastic. Being English speaking the staff mainly spoke English, the rooms were clean and the staff were very attentive. If i had a problem they would endeavour to help. Even with the UK EHIC insurance problem we had we managed to fix it in a couple of days. I was cared for better than any time i had been in a British hospital.

Worst hospital ever, I broke my ankle and the night in the emergency room was the worst night of my life. I spent almost 15 days there, dealing with rude nurses and a terrible handling of pain. The surgery to fix my ankle was not good and now I am waiting for a third surgery in a much better hospital. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I showed up to emergency with a person at the brink of collapse and they said "oh you gotta take her elsewhere, we don't have a dermatology department. I'm sorry, here's the address, you gotta go now." Only when she literally fainted in front of them they admitted her to the emergency room. The doctor was super nice, but the hospital staff was about to kick out a person who couldn't stand up for a minute without losing consciousness. This is more than a lack of professionalism, this is a lack of humanity.

If you had an emergency and ended up here, congrats! You made it into the worst place possible. Expect to be completely ignored for hours, no matter if you’re in deep pain or not. I came here with a dislocated elbow and after they put it back I had no contact with any doctor in more than 18 hours. I just waited. And waited. And still waiting. I just want to know if I am good to go home or not. The legend says I’m still here waiting for a doctor…💀

Not the most amazing hospital but there’s something really special happening in the Kreisaal and maternity ward. The midwives and nurses here are incredible. I gave birth here two weeks ago and can really recommend it if you’re looking for a low intervention hospital in the city. I had a successful ECV procedure here, an induction, and ultimately a C-section and every action was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. I felt safe and in good hands the entire time. Literally the only negative thing I have to say about the experience is that we were in the maternity ward for 5 days during a heat wave and the room was very very hot (6th floor, no AC, room in the sun). Also the food isn’t great. Everything else, 5 stars. Special shout-out to Monika, Sylvia, Dr Hatry, Hanka, and Sandra for all your help, attention, and big hearts.

Doctors were not responsive when I had an adverse reaction to medicine, and absolutely terrible bed side manner. At least the nurse stepped in and helped. It is understandable that doctor have been pushed recently, but to ignore a patient's reaction to a medication that they prescribed is just bad practice.

I had very very bad food poisoning and pain that made me think maybe I possibly actually had a ruptured appendix or something. So to be safe, I went to the emergency room. I was admitted and they sat me in a hallway for hours with no doctor coming to see me. Eventually, thankfully, the pain passed. However, if I did have a ruptured organ or internal bleeding, I would have most likely died there. Not a single doctor came and no one checked on me after the initial nurse that brought into the hallway to wait. I then received a bill for 300 eur, which I paid promptly. My insurance, however, will not cover it without some kind of documentation from the hospital about my visit. Whenever I contact the hospital to try and get some kind of documentation, they just tell me I must speak German and then hang up on me. Very rude staff. I would give less than 1 star if I could. Do not go to this hospital.

I didn’t expect this experience in a German Hospital. I came with a huge sprain in my feet, and one Colombian “doctor” (She) told me I could walk perfectly, without affecting my recovery even if is so painful. Thankfully I did not believe her and I went to other doctors, and told me not to move during 7 days... I really hope I will never need to go to this hospital again, and to anything similar.

(Translated by Google) Although it wasn't really crowded in the waiting area (3 people when I arrived), I waited 4 hours alone for someone to take a urine and blood sample from me and then be sent to another station that was so overwhelmed (not up related competence) that I have to wait again for hours .. If I didn't have the feeling that my uterus was about to fall out (apparently not acute enough for some), it wouldn't make me itch.

I delivered my baby there and the delivery itself was good. But the post care was absolutely awful. Every midwife will tell you something different on how to Breastfeed (often times completely contradicting one another!). My baby lost 10% of her birthweight which is relatively normal but they made a big deal of it and really pressured to formula and bottle feed. I wish I would have been more confident as a first time mom to advocate for myself, but I followed their pressure and wish I hadn’t. They just wanted a quick and easY solution rather than actually take the time to actually help a new mom with breastfeeding. Everyone i talk to now (pediatrician, midwife, lactation consultant) says there was no need to introduce a bottle and formula after 2 days. Additionally, the food is horrible. How can one expect to produce a good milk supply when they give Abendbrot 2 out of 3 meals? And the Abendbrot is simply one slice of brown bread and 2 slices of cheese (or funnily enough, 2 slice of bread and 1 slice of cheese…you never know what you were gonna get!)

I thought I was in the wrong movie! This isn't a hospital, it's a house full of amateurs. You are not seen as a person there either. If possible, please look for another hospital, this is about health and not about a car that needs to be repaired!

I was accommodated as a private patient in ward 83 from May 19th to May 22nd, 2020. The staff was always very nice, the rooms were clean and I felt very well looked after. My special thanks go to Dr. Florian Thomas and his team. For many years, heartburn dominated my everyday life. A gastroscopy revealed a hiatal hernia, which was surgically closed or removed. I've been completely symptom-free for 4 years now and of course I don't have to take any PPIs. Thank you for everything, Dr. Thomas. I can 100% recommend this clinic for this procedure!

This goes to the rescue center or staff at the registration desk, You are heartless and characterless souls. Already at the reception with a nice hello, the answer is "what"?! You have ZERO empathy! And this has been the case for at least 20 years!!! In other Berlin hospitals, on the contrary, it is more pleasant to talk to the staff. I wonder if your lack of empathy is required as part of the prerequisites for hiring someone to work. Also a big minus to the HR department! You are dirty people, you degrade a nice person's character into a negative one. Next time get rid of your ugly eyebrows!!! 0 stars to the staff!!!!

If you want to experience hell before you die, go to this hospital when in pain or in suffering. I came in after a bike accident where I broke my arm and I was in extreme pain. Alone the line to register as an emergency in their ER took 45 minutes (which there is no mechanism to skip if you walk in and don't come in by ambulance) and there were extreme waits after that as well. No one cares about people there. You will be rather sadistically laughed at. If you are able to take a cab in your condition go to the ER of any of the hospitals in Mitte (Charité, St. Hedwig etc.) and you'll be much better off.

The most horrible hospital experience of my life. Terrible professionals, super slow, inefficient. While people are dying on the hallway, nurses and doctors are mingling around, chatting and laughing. Cant even get a document at this hospital without waiting 6h. Unbelievable how they treat you like a stray dog and even dare to call themselves healthcare professionals. Would rather die than going there again cause I literally feel so traumatized I want to kill myself.

All the nurses and doctors were really, really nice and took away my fears of a small procedure. Really great, thank you very much. The rooms were very clean and everything was well organized. I would have liked a little more clarity when recording. On the day of the operation, I was told that there was no acceptance certificate, which I wasn't told about when I was admitted. Especially if you are nervous before an operation, you don't want to have to deal with bureaucracy. But all in all a really good experience, thanks everyone!

Pros: The emergency care was relatively quick and I got the x-ray and the MRI scan done pretty quickly. The room was good and the nurses were attentive. Cons: The doc barely spoke to me and gave me the ‘you shouldn’t do this or that sport’ pep talk. Also, the way the doc gave the news the I needed surgery was super alarming and made me a lot more afraid than I needed to be. The nurses don’t always seem to know what each medicine is for: they told me it was for the pain if I was feeling any; I wasn’t, so I didn’t take it; turns out, it was an anti-inflammatory.

Rude and dismissive staff. Unapologetic lack of communication. I was referred to the Rettungstelle by my doctor. I registered with the nurse who gave me a wristband and a sheet of stickers and told me to wait in the wait room. I waited 5 hours (I was told it could take a long time, so I was being patient) before asking the nurse at the desk if she could let me know how much longer it would take. The nurse proceeded to tell me that I was never triaged because I still had my stickers with me. I told her that I've been waiting a very long time and no one ever called my name. She responded by saying "someone definitely called your name" and continued to gaslight me saying they call your name at least 4 times before giving up (as if I chose to ignore my name being called 🤔). Instead of apologizing for a breakdown in the system and offering to help, I was left with no other option but to leave untreated. It's also worth noting that during my wait I noticed there was another person in front of me in the original queue who had also been waiting just as long. My suspicion was piqued after several people who came after me were treated before me.

It’s interesting to see the wide range of reviews about this hospital. I had very good experiences, in the emergency and for my operation. Initially, I was brought in by the emergency after my bike accident. I was well taken care of, everyone was kind, spoke English and helped me when I tried to communicate in German. Emergency crew even came to check on me hours later. I experienced a lot of empathy from nurses and doctors. After that I had to visit the orthopedist multiple times for tests and control, leading to my operation. Yes, sometimes I waited 3 hrs, but there was a lot of people who needed help. During my 3 days stay for the operation I had met very compassionate people, from nurses, to anesthesiologist, who was making jokes in English with me just before putting me to sleep. I am really appreciative for all the help. Remember, these people also need a bit of empathy. Their job is not easy, they don’t have enough people, and we are not always the nicest. I guess it works both ways. Thank you Vivantes and everyone from the Unfallchirurgie und Orthopädie.

(Translated by Google) After my third stay I would like to note the following: The inpatient stay is very pleasant, there are a maximum of two bed rooms. The television can only be received via headphones, so that it is mostly quiet. The nursing staff is attentive day and night and consistently friendly. The three meals can be put together using several variables the day before and are quite tasty. At least once a day is a doctor's visit, so that you are always informed about the development of the healing. The view from the upper stations over the city is breathtaking. All in all, everything is set for recovery. But you still have to get it yourself. By the way: A large part of the undisciplined, aggressive and often in the wrong place clientele (patients), which extremely affects the operation of the rescue center, would not get a star from me. The real emergencies are considerably hampered.

Worst place ever. All the times I went there i was poorly treated. I was there recently with a bad Food Poisoning, lot of pain and Vomit, nurses laugh of my condition and one of them was really angry at me, told me i was irresponsible, that i only had some pain and i should go home. They didn't check my blood or anything, said that i could stay and wait for hours but they had “real” things to do. They basically refuse to help, while i was clearly in a bad state. Don't go there, immigrant or german, don't go.

I came to the hospital at 8 pm with several symptoms: crazy stomach pain (which were lasting already for 2 weeks) and I’ve been volmiting in hospital. By 11 pm they “managed” to do my blood test. The lady had to repeat it all the time (I’m also really panicked about the needles but I was kinda ok, not moving or anything). The blood test results were missing 3 important results because the nurse did not manage to do it well!!! I was told that I might need to wait for results approx 1 hour. 3 and a half hours passed away and I still wasn’t seen by the doctor. In the meantime I was losing my shi.. at 2 am I got pissed and went to ask when they will see me. All I heard was: well you not look like you are dying so obviously we have more patience infront if you and more might come. After so many f… hours they told me that it’s better if I go to gp tomorrow leaving my with shi… done blood test and NO REPORT. My gp was terrified and he was really surprised that the ultrasound hasn’t been done. Just because I DONT LOOK LIKE I AM DYING I can still be suffering and not everybody who’s about to die look like it. The absolutely worse experience I had in European hospital. I really don’t recommend. The staff is rude and unprofessional. I know have been in CHARITÉ and I’ve been tested pretty fast and they took care of me. Ofc it also takes time but they don’t treat me like a “dog” but human.

Horrible experience at Emergency centre Waited for 10 hours just to get a blood test report My wife suffered from acute pain in the chest and that’s why we came here. After waiting for so many hours, fortunately, her heart was found to be normal but because of that the doctor turned out to be very rude to my wife saying that she should visit only if she feels she is dying and not to come here just for a blood test. He treated her as she is just a trash bag kept in the corner. My wife came out crying. To Vivantes, If you need proof that we visited, you can contact us. Unfortunately, there is a lot of room for improvement in this hospital when it comes to organization, or one of the worst I've ever experienced: When you're having an explanation for an operation, you're mainly busy with two things: running around and hours of pointless waiting. Racing between registration, radiology, anesthesiologist and specialist, you are chased around endlessly. Waiting separately between these. You even have to wait to get a ridiculous piece of paper with the contact details of the future station! Today was the best: In order to be able to attend an operation scheduled for around 12 p.m., you are summoned to Urban (orthopedics and trauma surgery) 6(!) hours in advance... sober, of course, with a growling stomach included for free. When I asked again the evening before, everything was clear. Arrived in the morning - everything goes smoothly, even if there is again pointless running between stations and registration. Waited for hours today so that a doctor could be sent ahead to simply call off an operation that you had been waiting for for months (!), and you could come back a week later. You can't believe it!

The Urban Clinic is large, but I received very individual and loving care during my stay on ward 63. The organization of my operation went smoothly and everyone involved was absolutely competent and incredibly helpful. My room was very bright and friendly. The food was also absolutely sufficient and tasty.

Short and sweet: Most anti-social hospital ever. I won't describe my experiences in detail here because it would get out of hand. My advice: If you can decide for yourself, simply choose another hospital.

The incompetence in this hospital is surreal. Avoid it at all costs. It takes hours to go through reception and triage — a fact I have unfortunately verified over the 7 years I have been a patient here. Last time I was here they took 8 hours to diagnose an acute appendicitis.

(Translated by Google) When staying in a surgical ward in 2019, a second operation was postponed for 5 days. When changing the dressing, disinfection was only carried out on 1 to 2 days. As a result, wound infection, which extended my stay to 1 month with 6 operations and presumably tissue damage. An assistant doctor caused damage due to incorrect and incomplete information and after stabbing at least 3x in another matter (taking a blood sample), he insulted me by asking if I had injected drugs. The public prosecutor was not interested and did not even seem to have identified and interviewed the persons in question. The clinic "walled" to their identity. Civil law suit is still pending.

(Translated by Google) This hospital has the WORST "rescue center" there is! Shouldn't even rant yourself because you will NOT be saved. I came with concussion + possibly more (head had landed in a mirror, which broke as a result) and wounds on the head in which there were still fragments and had a kind of sudden hearing loss in one ear. I sat there for about 4 hours. When I couldn't stand the pain anymore and could hardly stay awake from dizziness, I gave my notice and then ... nothing was done ... I got a pain pill ... after repeated requests. After another senseless hour, I left this neglected aid facility. I go to the family doctor tomorrow, keep my fingers crossed that I don't die from bleeding in the brain overnight. (; Danke Vivantes

I patiently waited for my turn (in pain) while the nurse at the reception was laughing and joking around with her colleagues for approximately 30 minutes (not exagerating). When she finally decided to talk to me, her attitude was extremely mean (as if my simple presence offended her) and she ended up telling me that they cannot help me. 3 hours of my life I will never get back...

I would never recommend anyone to go to this hospital. I was not listened to by the doctors and was treated poorly. They convinced me to get an unnecessary investigative major surgery that found nothing and made my condition and pain worse. I was in the gynecology ward and I repeatedly asked to to see a gastroenterologist and I was ignored. Two days after the surgery, when I was still unable to walk, they kicked me out of the hospital because they needed my bed for someone else. They had found no diagnosis for me and offered no solutions, nor even painkillers to manage my severe pain. In addition some of the nurses treated me extremely poorly. If I asked for water they would tell me to get it myself, even though I was unable to walk.

Twice there 25 years apart and appalling service: - Broken rips were not identified on xray. It is like a taxi driver does not see traffic lights. - a minor with allergy shock and breathing problems was rudely rejected and Referred to other hospital because of his age. As if breathing problems, nausea and large skin reaction is nothing serious.

Worst experience ever … what happened to Healthcare ?? … we are in Germany right ? Developed country with under developed hospitals in 2023? Short staff-no assistance- long waiting time (more than a week) to get an urgent surgery - surgery not prepared by staff - waiting hours for every appointment more than 4-5 hours … only nice thing is staff but they are sucked by the nightmare system.

Overall, the hospital seems very backwards. Staff is often nice but overwhelmed. Disinfectants are rare, so be careful if you have immune deficiencies. We were referred to the next day because the funds were not provided. Speaks for poor organization. That's a 1.5 hour journey. I would avoid the hospital.

As a heart patient, I have been to Urban many times, the doctors are really good. In order to relax better, I was happy to pay the comfort supplement (approx. €90 per day) out of my own pocket. I didn't have to worry about anything, flip flops, bathrobe, toothbrush and everything for daily hygiene, as well as a small selection of meals...as I said, a surcharge of €90 per day. In January I booked these extras again... service was not provided, standard equipment and food, only the coffee machine in the cafeteria. After my KV had transferred the benefit (of course without my optional benefit) I received a payment request from Urban in the style of a debt collection company...immediately...debtor...without delay... Thank you Finance and Controlling Department Doctors and nursing staff are top, administration is bad according to Lauterbach... RF

There's a lot to tell, but I'll keep it short. The head physician in the psychiatric department and all the doctors who worked under her were totally unfriendly and treated the patients as if they were less valuable than her. I also have to mention that the head physician or psychologist who apparently runs everything in the psychiatric department has full influence over everyone else, and therefore everyone dances to her direction. It was an incredibly horrible feeling to be there. Please go to other facilities or hospitals. Do yourself a favor 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Worst treatment of people I've ever witnessed. They make you feel like you're stupid for coming in to emergency asking for help. I came in with my boyfriend and explained the symptoms and they laughed to each other and rolled their eyes. When I asked for a glass of water because he felt like he was going to faint, they said no and told us to wait. In the end they didn't help with anything. This is the second time making the mistake to go to this hospital and each time it was the same. The staff humiliates and belittles you for coming there. If you have the option, go to another hospital.

I had booked a stay in the comfort room after my operation in advance. Unfortunately, the nursing staff didn't make my stay comfortable - they didn't take care of me (no care, no support of any kind), they were rude and the end of the day was more important to the staff than my needs; Even the attending doctor was extremely surprised at how the nursing staff treated me and had to take on nursing duties himself because no one was taking care of me. I therefore absolutely cannot recommend the Vivantes am Urban and advise against necessary stays!

(Translated by Google) I deliberately do not rate the medical and nursing quality of the hospital here, even though I myself was a patient here and was helped a lot. I think it is presumptuous to want to assess the performance of the entire facility after a single stay. When I recently visited the hospital again, I found the contrast between the old and the new building extremely remarkable. The old hospital from 1890 on Dieffenbachstr. In a relaxed pavilion construction, there is now a fairly isolated, luxuriously renovated residential area that has little to do with the rest of Kreuzberg (free access via Grimmstr./Ecke Urbanstr. and / or from the rear end of Dieffenbachstr.). The compact, functional new building (1966-70) would probably no longer be built in this form today. He looks very massive, yes brutal and inhumane.

I dislocated my thumb and was afraid it was broken, so I went to the rescue center early on Saturday. I waited 1.5 hours after being warmly welcomed and then the thumb was looked at and x-rayed, there was no fracture and it was lovingly "wrapped up". All the doctors and nurses were super friendly and took care of my injury. I felt like I was in good hands and cared for, I was given painkillers and very good information. Top rescue center. Thanks for that!

Apart from the terribly long and very painful waiting time in the emergency room (as is often the case with an acute shortage of staff), I received excellent care, the operation went well and I was able to go home soon. Worst hospital in the world. You can die there in the hallway while no one is looking after you and you are an absolute emergency. I just don't understand why people with broken hands are equated with people with internal bleeding and organ damage. Normally failure to provide assistance and then you could have stayed at home to die, I had to save myself and with the last of my strength I was able to send a text message to acquaintances and then as an emergency go to another hospital, yes I will never forget that, I was in the intensive care unit and two weeks on internal. I vomited blood like a horror movie, but the nurses at Urban weren't really interested in that. I have not forgotten it to this day, I am traumatized and no longer trust hospitals. I'm afraid of them, they're really weird there. I have been praying ever since that I would never have to go to this hospital again. It was a different matter, pregnant and with a blood deficiency to the power of 10, I couldn't even get any blood supplies. Then the child was pressed on the main artery, the liver was not supplied with blood and almost died, for weeks and almost died from it, the pulse was already below 50, instead of doing a cesarean section. They then simply kept me in bed for over two months and I couldn't drink or eat anything, my gallbladder and liver hurt, I was only given water through an infusion. My child was very underweight at birth and that was because he had no nutrients and so did I . Everything was vomited, but no solution was found. Impossible. I had no one, no family, no man who said anything, was dependent on doctors to support me and do the right thing, but they had zero interest in my life. Actually, her job is not a blessing in the sense. It was still going on for months afterwards. I would have been happy if someone had stood up for life and health, and then I would have had fewer consequences for my organs.

Station 43 Zimmer 18.

Went to the emergency room twice, the first time I was there for four hours and eventually sent home, I came back a few days later and was admitted within a couple of hours. It's a hospital so obviously it's busy but overall I found the wait in the ER not too long, and except for one very rude doctor the staff was pretty nice. I spent three days there for something not very serious but I would come back there if I ever need to go to the hospital again!

Unexpected emergency; walk-in problem solved in <4 hours on a busy Friday evening Very friendly intake staff at reception, attentive ER doctors, did not cut corners, I felt taken care of competently and with care I also noticed how sensitive and considerate the doctors were to a woman who either had mental instability or was on drugs and was being disruptive. They were patient and treated her with dignity like everyone else, always want to see it!

I have to say I was a doubting whether to go to this hospital after reading all the reviews but I had a rather pleasant experience. The 2 ladies that initially talked to me were indeed rough and dry but afterwards both doctors that came to me were quite nice and treated me well. Both spoke very good English and were professional. Everything went quite fast but it was quite empty as people are afraid to go to the hospital nowadays.

Thank you so much doctor Jan Rosenthal who took care of me today at the emergency, I had asthma attacks. He was super patient and professional, explain everything carefully, I felt really calm and relax there, he also make sure I’m 100 recovered before he let me leave the hospital. Usually emergency can be a very stressful situation, he changed my mind completely! Danke schon

I was brought to this "hospital" by ambulance with huge pain in my right arm and back shoulder. On the way the ambulance guys were ironic to me claiming that I'm too "soft" and claimed that there wasn't actually a reason for me to get hospitalized. When we arrived I was left for half an hour in one place dealing with pain and no one would ask or tell me something. Felt really uncomfortable. Then a nurse appeared suddenly and insisted that I must step up out of the bed and go wait in the waiting room even though I told her that I was in pain and couldn't be in any other position except laying down. They got me to the waiting room and after 10 min. I was complaining that my pain gets worse and that I need a bed just get me out of this sitting-position I was scared something worse could happen to me. I told the security guy to find this nurse and tell her I need to lay down again, he went asking and when he came back the answer was simply NO. There was a room with over 12 beds on that floor. This is so unhuman, this place's stuff is sociopathic I will never get back and will try to sue them for this!!! I forgot to mention that since this was my second visit in 3 days for the same reason they should have treated me more carefully.

I lived in Dubai since my childhood it’s international place they all speaks English even the german no one forcing them to speak arabic to get a work place without paying tax ! Today I’m living in berlin I have waited for 4 hour’s to get my medication pills The women at the reception was so rude i tried to speak to her several time she was interpreting my questions by saying please take a place at the waiting room without even listen to my another question she left the chair while talking to her turning her self a way and opening the electric door to put me a way or saying in another words ( get out of here ) … really bad body language If you don’t speak perfect german ( cause you lost the words after dealing with pain ) or if they checked your Ausweis ( none german citizens) They show another treatment So toxic people and toxic place If you can’t tolerant stress don’t work at the hospital and show the patients your face cause you not helping your making things worst for people who want help . Note : Read comments down below since 4 years it’s always has been the same !!

They literally let me pretty much suffer and wait for two hours, then actually help me. The nurse literally saw me throwing up very badly, while having extrem vertigo and bedded an IV, then sent me home. Avoid this hospital at all cost.

Receptionists are so rude! For a simple check up, even with a normal queue of patients, you should wait for an infinite time! The area was also so dirty!!! Totally disappointed with the quality of the services…

Very very rude and disrespectful staff in rettungstelle They keep me outside in cold cause i had cold symptoms but negative corona test Anyway i had to stay in a tent for 40 minute one hour till some security guy came and said he will go and call someone After more waiting some nurses came out and asked me to go put of tent and stand in wind because they wanted to sit there and smoke their cigarettes still nobody answered me and after one hpur standing i left the place cause they were all just ignoring me and patients This happend last night sunday 27.11.22 So the staff of rettungsstelle in this stelle totally made me to go and not answered i was about to call the police but definitely that would not help so i left and my gripe got worst for standing so long in cold I wish they all get fired … 5 nurses sitting in the tent of patients and laughing at patients standing outside totally discriminating .

The worst experience. I came with a very strong allergy and they ddnt take me serious. First they said that they can’t treat me (while laughing at me), after they said yea so I waited. Then they told me that or either a go to another clinic or I’ll have to wait 6 to 9 hours. After a discussion, as I couldn’t believe the answer, I asked for the name of the clinic and they wanted to send me 1h away. He said to me that my behavior is like I have something serious, and that he could show me more serious stuff. Again they ddnt take me serious when I told them that I was not okay. Urgency room was empty. I end up going to a hauszart I could find after a lot of research 20 min from vivantes. First thing this clinic said when they saw me is that I was having a huge allergy reaction, they gave me a pill and drops to calm me down fast, and then they gave me a prescription to get more. This is how doctors should react not like in vivantes.

I had a surgery scheduled for today. I called yesterday night to confirm it and to give me the scheduled time. When I arrived, after 4 hours they gave me a room and made me dress up and be told I will get a surgery. AFTER 2 HOURS waiting in a cold room, I have been told that surgery is not possible because it wasn’t scheduled correctly. I had to go back home in pain and wait one week more. Ehat kind of service is this? What kind of treatment. I have been left alone without knowing what to do and still I am. All german patients were treated first. I pay my insurance and eork here I don’t understand why I had such a mistreatment.

Unbelievable what a hospital, I have never seen a hospital like this before, where the patient is thrown at the door, that they do not do such a procedure as, for example, post-operative thread removal, suddenly I die or I don't know what....and I sue them...thread removal? ?!!Like what??Horrible hospital, go somewhere else if you can!

Last week, my partner gave birth to our first baby there. Everybody in the maternity sections in the floor 1st and 6th were not only super professional but also super human. They treated us with all the care, patient, respect and professional attention we could wish. We arrived there from the birth-house. We were opting for a natural birth but for different reasons we ended up needed some doctor help. During the whole process they gave us explanation of what was going on, which were the options we had. They allowed us to choose, they supported us with our desires. They treated us with calm and understanding, they dedicated us time and attention. After birth we spent 5 days in maternity in the 6th floor. I was able to spend all the time with my partner, through their "family room" service, where we have a room for us and I can sleep over side to my partner and my new born. The rooms are very comfortable, plenty of natural light and very well isolated from the noises of other rooms and the corridors. All the doctors, and mostly all midwives and nurses, speak perfect english, and which don't, they made all the effort to make them be understood by me. I am forgetting some of the names of the people that gave us their attention. From the ones I remember, I want to send special appreciations to Suheda, the midwife that attended us in our difficult process, which was very attentive and professional as well as humble to bring other midwives to our case to compare opinions. Hanna Lux, the doctor that were making us company in our difficult decisions and that was kind to check in out visiting us after some days in our room. Claudia, another midwife that was listening to our special requests and helping us to satisfice them. Elif T., for her kind manner, that was so kind attending our kid in the 6th floor. Jonathan Müller, the doctor that was following us our case, explained us all the details our our case, and solved all our questions. B. Gorny, the physio that was helping my partner to recover sooner, her sweet approach and care, but also encouraging attitude helped my partner to recover quicker. Nicola, that helped us with all the complicated bureaucracy that entails to register our baby. For all of them, and the rest I am not able to name, all our warm gratitude.

Have been to this hospital few times during the pregnancy and once for birth. Care the people working there provided was invaluable. Always kind and reassuring, and always doing their best to speak English! Could not have asked for more, thank you!

Rude hospital.. I had an accident and asked them to assist me but they couldn’t speak English and hung up the phone on me. Not sure how a hospital of this size doesn’t have a single English speaker - they could’ve at least tried to find someone or offer another form of support but instead hung up the phone on me - extremely disappointing considering it’s an emergency and I’ve had an accident.

I just got turned away from the hospital. I took my girlfriend who has covid and cant stop vomiting, crying in pain and dehydrated. The two receptionists (two blonde woman) refused to treat her. They said what must they do because Covid isnt serious anymore and she must wait outside the hospital for 6 hours and maybe someone will see her. Then they started laughing at her while she is in severe pain and dehydrated. Never in my life have I met 2 more Evil people that can laugh at someones pain. I am sure it is on Video and would like to speak to somone at the hospital. Those 2 employees need to be delt with. To laugh at someone crying in pain with Covid is despicable. We are now home while my girlfriend is vomiting as the hospital said shes not having a heart attack so its not serious. DISGUSTING

I had a fracture. The Ortopeed explained in detail to me my condition and what treatment I need and gave me the best. After the operation, followed up with me twice a day. I asked special anesthesia not to get sick afterwards. That "cocktail" worked perfect. The Nurses support and Admin were very helpful. Be Blessed.

Big compliment, especially to the emergency room. At the rescue center I was initially well looked after and well informed about everything else. The interactions between the doctors and nurses were appreciative and humorous, both towards one another and towards the patients. I have seen homeless patients who were treated very well and respectfully. After an hour I was moved out of the room and into the hallway. Being moved into the hallway can sound like being "just pushed out" to many people, but the hallway is wide, with enough room for beds. You can see the nurses and doctors walking by at any time and checking the patients' values. That's certainly better than having more patients stay alone in the waiting room. I experienced competent and friendly doctors and nurses on the ward. Overall a good clinic. Very dedicated staff!

Preferably 0 stars, the worst hospital I know, all rude, inexperienced, they only come when you're almost dying of pain. Someone has to wait for hours for me to get in because the nurses can't do it and then the doctor comes and can't do it himself. A disaster here for the first and last time here

I have never encountered so many rude people in my entire life as I did here. All employees, be it doctors, receptionists or sick nurses, were in a bad mood. A small appeal to you dear employees, quit your job and look for something else if you are so dissatisfied with it, you will only embitter others with your behavior. Just terrible my experience in this hospital!!!!

Was in the clinic for three days on ward 43 because of a broken hand. Surgery went smoothly (local anesthesia). Doctors spoke to you and the nursing staff were always approachable and friendly. Food also tasted good. Waiting times for preliminary discussions are sometimes long. But I would always get treated again.

😠 I believe that when a person wants to work in a hospital they should be fit to do so. The red hair nurse that I went to do the registration at the clinic was extremely rude and disrespectful.
