Cardiac catheter procedure with ASD closure by Prof. Dr. Berger on ward H4! My big thanks go to the entire team at station H4! I have never experienced so much care, attention, compassion and love for the job in a hospital. The entire team is incredibly great, despite all the misery and suffering that many of the little patients have to endure there, they are the ray of hope who take care of all the worries of little and big patients. The support is really great, it's unbelievable how much time is taken!! I was very afraid of general anesthesia because of previous bad experiences, but that was completely unfounded. A great team of anesthesiologists helped me wonderfully! They really have a great team there - who take care of everything around the clock! Everyone does their job with full care for the patient! Dear Sister Esther, thank you very much again for the great care after my operation!! You wouldn't believe how much you made my day easier with your cheerful and loving nature!

Dear Sir or Madam, your clinic is definitely not recommended. Based on my own experience, I have to say that the w1 intensive care unit has neither professional dealings with relatives nor patients. The patient in question lay in bed with a dirty shirt for several days after additional abdominal surgery. Documented by photo so that no one gets the idea that it is a lie. We were also informed that the patient was brain dead, but he responded when spoken to. The family had no say whatsoever. She was only informed about important things afterwards. And now he is dead because the doctor was of the opinion that they decide when and what should be stopped and not the family. According to the doctor's statement, he would already be old. It should also be noted that neither the patient nor the family are minors and are not under guardianship.

My father, 78 years old, was supposed to have a bypass operation. The operation was postponed 3 times. He lay in bed fasting in the room for 2 days in a row. My father felt so unwell. He called me and said, here you have to do everything yourself. Nobody really cares or asks. He was diabetic. He was sober for 2 days until 9 p.m. and He was so thirsty. At 9:30 p.m. there was no surgery. At 9:30 p.m. he got something to eat. It was again called no surgery because he came in for emergencies. On Wednesday he was operated on and the surgery was. The next day he was in the Wi1 intensive care unit I visited him. The doctor said the operation went well. But he doesn't really come to. He was restrained. Because my father tried to rip everything out. He could say no and yes. That day I knew something was going wrong The next day my father had a cardiac arrest and she resuscitated him for 30 minutes. Apparently they tried to reach me. IN THE hospital I saw that they didn't call me or my husband. The number that was dialed was my father's number. Then there was the operation on the stomach. Two doctors had two different reasons for the operation. My father was supposed to be at the hospital where he was Before that I had a heart attack, which we didn't know anything about. HE is said to have had severe COPD that was completely unknown to us. He never took any medication for it and never had to gasp for air. He never needed oxygen and was never seriously ill. The doctors gave us so much hope. The next day brain death was only diagnosed by a doctor confirmed. HE reacted when spoken to, it was all just reflexes, the doctors said. He lay in a dirty shirt for two days. Compassion, empathy was non-existent. Me and my family are convinced he wouldn't have had this operation and he wouldn't have been there. HE would still be alive today. But when the doctor said he was old enough. A lot of things were clear to me. My father isn't coming back. He would have preferred to pass out in our house. But in this clinic it was just torture. He's without it Aches and pains purely.

Hello and welcome to my tweet. Well...... Unfortunately I had to be taken to the hospital due to an emergency and was taken to the German Heart Center in Wedding. After the extensive examination in the rescue center, I was taken to ward H1 WDK1. Where do I start? The rooms are beautifully designed and each has a small TV and there is free WiFi. The staff is above average, friendly, helpful and absolutely competent. No matter, teachers, nurses, the food distribution or the cleaning staff, everyone was always in a good mood and gave their best. Please always remember that just as I shout into the forest, I also shout out again. Personally, I found the food very good, plentiful and of very good quality. It's still a hospital and not a hotel!! The only negative thing I have to say is that there are only two toilets in the entire ward that all patients have to share. In addition, communication between patient and doctor is somewhat awkward. You have to ask questions otherwise no information will come. Finally, I felt very safe and in good hands and that is one of the most important things. Oh dear patients and future patients, please learn the phrase thank you again to the entire staff and not always just the phrase is wants etc.

(Translated by Google) To leave an elderly patient with pneumonia alone in the room is irresponsible. My father is suffocated by the slime. Resuscitation went well, but he was no longer with him and had to be artificially ventilated, which was not the case before. The woman at the headquarters is also a disaster. Today my loved one died over all beloved father. Never again!!!!!

(Translated by Google) I think it's a mess if you have an appointment there and you do not get a room. One sits from 9 o'clock in the morning and until 18 o'clock and still does not have one. You have to eat dinner in the waiting room and wait for a bed. That can not be done.

(Translated by Google) Many thanks to the team of the German Heart Center. You should allow a little time for the admission, which is not surprising even with the high number of patients. The doctors (all), in particular I would like to thank Prof. Piefke again, are great. They patiently answer questions from patients during the visit. A big compliment to the sisters, despite the high stress they always had a smile on their face or were for a joke that is rare. I was thrilled and we can be happy all over Germany about the work that the men and women do every day.

(Translated by Google) Still incomprehensible, how a healthy patient is advised to have an operation and at the same time the staff speaks nicely, according to the motto "routine intervention, nothing will happen" ... So suddenly, after losing one week in an artificial coma after the procedure, I lost my father. A planned ByPass surgery of 4 hours, which went up to 15 hours ... incomprehensible! (Translated by Google) ... I can only say one thing - no one is to blame for the grief of my family. And I don't know what could be worse to be here at home in Russia, or to go to Berlin to treat our baby. It happened and I can't blame anyone. But still it is not clear why, 6 days after the successful operation (so we were told, and the readings were also good), on the 7th day, the baby ... died. It's bad that there is no permanent doctor in the ward, (like we have in Russia) everyone is running around, and when there is something serious they start to shrug their shoulders and play for time ... I will not give a single star to this clinic. Not because grief happened to us, but because such serious hospitals are not really like that. Everything is like everywhere else - people make mistakes and learn from them. We only have to live! 09.07.2016 - 19.12.2018 .... (Original) ... 09.07.2016 - 19.12.2018....

(Translated by Google) At one time, my loved one had a successful operation here and for that I am very grateful to them. But .. now everything has become very bad. It is impossible to discuss the current state with Dr. Tetere. The attitude is bad in cardiology. Earlier, when pressure was raised after coronography, the medicine was immediately given to the drip — they were now offered to get out of the situation themselves thinking about what to take .. On the next day, they had not yet been discharged and had already forced them to leave the ward and wait for an extract in the corridor. In a word, everything is put on the conveyor. Let's think about changing the hospital ...

Mitral valve reconstruction inpatient for 2 weeks in mid-September. Age 50. The operation was successful without any complications. I was operated on by Professor Dr. Jacobs and his team. The communication between the doctors and with me was very good before and after the operation, as was the care in the intensive care unit, ward 2 and ward 1. A lot of praise goes to the nurses and nursing staff, who constantly look after me and the others with empathy Patients have taken care of! I would also like to thank my treating doctor, Dr. I would like to mention Ralf Bartel, who looked after me around the clock and comforted and cheered me up when I got scared, in pain and in fibrillation. I would like to rate the very good organization, the food (no catering) and the cleanliness positively. In conclusion: everything was right! The operation, the care and above all the fresh, positive atmosphere that has a very good effect on the patient's recovery!

On November 7th, 2023 I have an appointment in Berlin-Buch to prepare for a cardiac catheter the following day. This turns out to be a serious heart disease that requires immediate bypass surgery. My condition is considered to be so serious that the senior physician in the cardiology department B2 in Buch was forced to check me in the observation ward without getting up and only lying down. Immediate bypass surgery is necessary to eliminate the acute threat to life. I am taken to the Charitè cardiac center in a lying transport. A SURGERY DATE HAS BEEN ARRANGED. When we arrived at the heart center, nothing happened. I was referred from Buch sober. There was no operation. The operation is now scheduled to take place on November 11th, 2023. In acute danger to my life, which is not taken seriously here in the heart center, where I am allowed to stand up and where blood pressure is measured every now and then. I am shaved, cleaned for bacteria several times, and therefore prepared for the operation and the operation has been postponed further and further. At 8 p.m. the appointment is canceled again and postponed to next Sunday, supposedly in first place. After I left on November 12th. I was woken up at 5 a.m. to prepare for the operation and was told the operation should take place at 8 a.m. This appointment will be postponed again to 12 p.m. and then rescheduled again to 4 p.m. On November 12th, 2023 at 11:30 p.m. the night nurse comes and tells me my surgery date was on Tuesday!!!! delay. My medications have been changed even though they have only just started working well. I didn't receive an explanation for this. I want to receive these back immediately. Now I've had enough and I feel like I've been ripped off and I expect an explanation from the head doctor and immediately!!!

(Translated by Google) Professional probably good. I have too little idea. My father had suffered a stroke in the operation (episode, hemiplegia, etc.), once came the neurologist who examined the more detail, he said that in the operation is probably too little oxygen into the brain, he has explained to me conclusively. The next day I wanted to know what exactly that was, why something like that happened, because the doctor said, no, the neurologist did not say .. (well, she did not say, no, I do not think so, you have to do it again ask more o.so, she said really, no he did not say that ...) I said that I know that well, it went back and forth and in the end she just said, that may have been anything, something happened just now. That seemed very strange to me, otherwise I hardly had any conversations with doctors, if very briefly. Lack of time. When I spoke to someone about the living will it was always called "that (!!!) can still be something" strangely continuous in the 5 hospitals / rehab he has gone through. You learn the saying in the university? That !, not him .. Once! said a doctor like that, yes then we should not have done it all (later in the rehab one). Waiting in the intensive care unit the first 2 times every 2 hours, until I came on it, you just should not just wait, as you say it at the beginning, 2 hours, which one could be synonymous with the sick .. Really blatant was also the contract (he is a private patient and I have no idea, he is so to speak, also overnight Care case become) was not sufficiently explained, I had a signature too much gamacht (I asked for, if there is no extra costs, that was denied, but that is not the same for all coffers .. What I did not know But the lady in accounting still wants one think .. - at least she could have said that she does not know exactly and that I should ask her more. It cost a lot of money, they forgave me a part, but dealing with me was underground, as if I was completely interrupted and that now just goodwill when I asked again, because the sum they wanted to take, in my opinion, but less than was previously discussed no more answers .. The carers were busy there, were very nice, hard-working, but also overwhelming overwhelmed what they told me unsolicited everything .. Incredibly sad, all .. What I in the 10 months in all the hospitals have experienced run away, despair ... And it is certainly only very little to the people who are mostly hard-working, the whole system is just for profit, people underpaid, too few staff, no wonder ; there are too few set, but there are too few who want to do .. And .. Why must you torment so an old man so .. Just to rules and the system to use? Animals are treated there almost better. What's the purpose of a living will not bring anything .. Just bad .. (Original) Fachlich wahrscheinlich gut. Tiere behandelt man da fast besser. Wozu Patientenverfügung?-bringt nichts.. Einfach nur schlimm..

(Translated by Google) Technically top. Super intensive care, because you can not say anything against. But on the normal station the organizational was a flop. Nurse partly unfriendly, are overheated and under stress. You should work on that. You always get different statements from the doctors. Nobody knows. There was no information about the transfer of our 3 month old son to another hospital and then everything should be packed within 5 minutes and it started immediately. What was great stress for the child and for us parents too. I'm disappointed with the way people communicate with their parents. (Original) Fachlich Top. Da sollte man dran arbeiten.

I was a patient at the German Heart Center. The treatment worked well and I am now healthy again. All doctors I met were competent in diagnosis and therapy. The nursing staff was friendly and committed. Example: After anesthesia, a nurse greeted me with an “elephant balloon” to encourage me. Thank you for everything!

(Translated by Google) I had an appointment to read my CRTD pacemaker, which was implanted at Behnring Hospital over a year ago. I submitted a referral from my cardiologist. Every doctor and sister explained to me the unwillingness to read out, to go where the implant was. There would be only one exception that one would do this! Then I was told that they would take me, how gracious, but in the monitoring, but you still have to, for billing purposes, write an ECG. I was treated as a petitioner or 3rd grade person. Not even 24 hours later I received a phone call telling me that I should look for someone else for the next aftercare! Etsch cheesecake ... impudence therefore the rating is not even enough for a star, I have to give, because otherwise no recession is possible. In the Behring hospital, I was told that you get the aftercare from the box office not paid, otherwise it would be in the Virchow ... but there probably own implants bring probably more money from the coffers. The patient who certainly can not choose this is the loser ... ... Never again Virchow heart center !!!! PS: The positive reviews are certainly all from patients of the DHZB who are being treated completely differently! There's more money for that ...

I highly recommend! Great specialists, impeccable post-operative care for a newborn who is just a few days old! You have to be a really talented person with a lot of knowledge and control to operate on a 4-day-old newborn. The precision with which the procedure was performed means that the scar after the procedure is small and the heart works flawlessly. The aorta was operated on because it was too narrow. In one word, they repaired my baby and it is as good as new! 😁 Plus good food in the canteen! I recommend it, but I don't want you to have to come here ;)

During patient admission, an employee exhibited behavior that was perceived as extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. It is appropriate to make recommendations to wear masks, but it should be noted that orders on this matter are not appropriate. In such positions, it is important to be aware of the current legal situation and obtain appropriate information. The blood sample, also carried out by the same employee, was disastrous - with blood splattered, a missed vein and clumsy poking on the other arm, which was extremely unpleasant. In contrast, the doctor proved to be extremely professional and friendly. Hopefully your complaint will be taken seriously at the end of the conversation. Although the medical care was commendable, the patient receptionist may seem unsuitable for this position, especially given the already stressful situation of visiting the cardiac center.

My grandfather, 78 years old and a diabetic, was brought to Virchow on November 26th due to a bypass. My grandfather and we as a family were very reassured because everyone thought it was a routine operation. All of my grandpa's stats were good. Shortly before the operation we all spoke on the phone. However, 2 days before, as a diabetic, he was fasting until 9:30 p.m. because he might have to have an operation. After the bypass operation he no longer regained consciousness. He would be in intensive care for 2 days. Then suddenly in the Navht cardiac arrest he would be resuscitated for 30 minutes. Then an abdominal operation of which we were not informed. Then a third operation. Then CT of the head git the next day Brain death. My op was a fighter and managed to escape from a war zone in Augist. He was very active and mobile. People should come to say goodbye. People make mistakes and you should own up to them. And correct and good communication is very important. You wants to turn off all the devices. Brain death was only diagnosed by a doctor. They told my mother he was old enough. We didn't know that he had finally died. That day we found out that he had been operated on 3 times and not 2 times. We were left with not only the sadness but also with so many questions and no answers

I am an international patient. I did a major heart surgery (replace aortic valve and ascending aorta) in German Heart Center Berlin in June 2023. My experience was great. Everything was organized. The doctors and nurses were very professional and friendly. The hospital took very good care of me. Most of the doctors and nurses were actually keen to help me and provide me with the best medical care possible. In short, the doctors and nurses in this hospital are not only professional and the best, but they also actually care about you as a patient and as a human being. I thank all the doctors and the nurses. I especially thank Prof. Dr. Volkmar Falk, he is the surgeon who did the surgery, and if I am not mistaken, he is the medical director himself and the top surgeon.

Catastrophic because the reports were written differently as they were said. I was there for a cardiac catheter examination and a defibrillator had to be used 4 times. The report said catheter examination without complications..... So something can't be normal and there were things in the report that I wasn't informed about became something completely new In my opinion not recommended
