(Translated by Google) A thoroughly disappointing experience, I made !!! The employee action is not really competent, which can appear worse that unfriendly and disrespectful occur. The experience of the attending doctor was not really pleasant. It seemed that only my insurance coverage was interesting. This also explains the totally erroneous findings. I opted for another hospital. If I could, I would give zero stars.

Parking with a day ticket €5 directly at the main entrance. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Bright, friendly rooms with sound-absorbing windows. Nurses were thorough and attentive. I hope it's just a visit here, but in an emergency I would definitely feel in good hands here. UPDATE 02/2024: The day ticket now costs €10

(Translated by Google) I would never go to the emergency room at this UKB fully conscious. I can only call the whole treatment of my ankle fracture incompetent, condescendingly arrogant and without any sympathy for patients.

Where to even begin?? I was sent there by an internal medicine doctor and they ran multiple tests over 10 hours and I never even talked to a doctor. I was there for 4 hours before they even did a COVID test. Like, why even at that point? The only way I got information was to go to the nurse at the front and ask. Ten hours sitting in a waiting room while they run test after test and don't even keep me informed on what's going on. In the end I left wit no diagnosis and no info from any doctor. I thought the system in the US was bad but at least they put you in a room and keep you informed. And I speak German so there really was no excuse. In the end I just left and they didn't even care. Most staff was nice, but lack of communication between one another was obvious. We'll see what the bill ends up being.

(Translated by Google) Hui ... I was at the rescue center for 7 hours yesterday and am quite amazed. Within the time a doctor came to me for a brisk saying without reading my family doctor's briefing diagnosis - until then I felt quite out of place. And after 7 hours I left with the advice of my family doctor. I am a nurse myself and do not understand the fact that sometimes old people are treated very underground. The fact that it is not possible to put water in for a longer period of time (so I get my water myself, not an older lady after a fall) or to wish a "good day" at all, I find creepy and it disappoints me - time or not forth. What I had to hear through these curtains yesterday did not sound like care. In the future I will avoid going to this house or this rescue center. I am really not spoiled, but I am also a customer, my body is the object with which money is made and as long as I can choose, I will choose differently ... (Original) Hui...

(Translated by Google) Actually, I would very much like to give 0 stars! Rescue center was just sick! We had to listen to very disrespectful treatment of patients and degrading words! I don't understand why such people actually choose this profession when they don't know how to deal with sick people and people in need of help. My mother has been a cancer patient there for years and I think it was outrageous today from the rescue center to say next to my mother: Where did you get DIE from? When we asked a carer for a wheelchair, we meant DIE. Unfortunately, the medical record and her treating doctor has been there for years, otherwise I would never take her there again to these unsensitive nurses!

5std.

(Translated by Google) Staff friendly, did not have a long wait, BUT after 2 doctors had examined me, the ENT doctor was called and politely refused to treat me on the phone !! (I was sitting right next to the phone and could hear everything.) The other doctor then simply sent me home and told me to just report to my normal family doctor on Monday, but come back when things get worse ?! I wouldn't have come if it wasn't bad! Terrible how you are handled there !! Spent three hours there to be sent home untreated ...

I came here on Good Friday via 116/117 and was treated so well here! You have to expect a wait everywhere, but I'm completely satisfied. I had to stay for 2 nights, the nurses and the doctors were super nice and competent, they took their time and it wasn't just done like that. The ENT ward is really impeccable 🌷🌷🌷🌷 Thank you for the great treatment and for being so kind to my son 🤗 Best hospital ever!!!!

(Translated by Google) The two doctors who treated me in the emergency room were absolutely disrespectful. My helplessness was responded to with arrogant arrogance, as was my attempt to ask questions. I was subliminally given to understand how annoying it was to have to help. I was helped, but humanly under all cannons, a real certificate of poverty for such a top-class hospital.

Everything 100% straightened and fine again. Luckily I'm in Germany, luckily here. No matter what others say, this clinic is a Berlin jackpot for the people of this world. Everything is given here. Waiting period?? Depending on the location, it can take 2 hours or 8 hours. But in the end you will be well looked after and looked after here. I would say unique. Keep up the good work, dear employees. You're doing a very good job. (Original) Hier ist niemand Unfreundlich. (Translated by Google) First of all, I would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of the rescue center, who Luckily diagnosed and adequately treated all pneumonia (pneumonia), while some general practitioners and a Charité doctor did not consider lege artis treatment necessary. (Quote from a general practitioner after the fifth antibiotic, which had no effect: "You are not seriously ill, you can go back to work the day after tomorrow. Just sleep well and take the cough suppressant at night." I suffered from this For more than three months now, with shortness of breath at rest (so that even speaking became a pain), breathing interruptions, RG's of the lungs, persistent cough with bloody expectoration and the cyanosis on the face were unmistakable even for strangers I followed the advice of my (unfortunately retired) general practitioner to come here - according to a specialist from the UKB's, I seem to have narrowly escaped sepsis at one point. Unfortunately, due to the neglected examinations, (no thorough auscultation of the lungs, no chest X-ray, no BB special inflammation parameters, no BGA etc.) ergo faulty treatments of the above-described chronic complications twisted. Since I had the impression that my stay at station B0 was a little unstructured, I can unfortunately only give 4 stars. The patients there need rest and more empathy - this would be my request to the nursing staff at this ward. (This review concerns the time before SARS-CoV-2) Just my 2 cents ...

(Translated by Google) Was there because of abdominal pain, blood pressure measured at the beginning and the sister said oh very very high so then off to the treatment room ok Lower abdomen was scanned and blood was taken then wait about 6 hours until I got the results, it was called a stomach inflammation OK. The doctor said to me that this is not a case for the emergency room, next time I should go to the doctor. Ok I went home and the next day I had a racing heart like piss and pain and then went to the doctor and he found that I had a blood pressure of 175 to 110 and it goes straight to my heart, I finally got something that helped me. So now I wonder why they didn't give me anything, the doctor was astonished himself and said nothing about it to me was in the documents.

Very professional and friendly medical staff. The people working in the kitchen are however extremely rude, always complaining, making snappy comments and so on. A person who’s rude to an old patient in the hospital lacks basic human decency and empathy.

At 60 years old and with many necessary visits to emergency rooms, this hospital is the saddest hospital I have ever experienced to date. The negative conversations that I had to overhear among the employees about their workplace in the emergency room while I waited there in the corridor for a very, very long time without being treated!...he must have been sad. Waiting patiently and in silence with a lot of input, because I might not be offered a chance for help, I took a taxi to another hospital untreated. I was more than disappointed because no real stress was noticeable at the time I would have shown understanding of the situation. This experience only for a pain infusion, which was previously diagnosed with the help of 116117 for further treatment for the hospital, does not happen despite patience. But very quickly after the hospital change. Maybe it was just because of the famous Monday, so I would like to thank you here!

The facility is good and equipped with modern technology and tools but the people there are shameless, without respect and don't think outside the box we had a lot of problems there and the patient got worse over the time I really hope that they read that and work on the mentality and respect of the working staff there.

UNMENSCHLICH

(Translated by Google) Medical competence of the ENT department 0 stars. Lack of specialist competence of the doctors and excessive demands, statements that can only cause a shake of the head. Wrong diagnosis by Dr. Seidl asked and a nerve injured during surgery. Thereafter, Dr. Seidl did not even consider it necessary to look at the effects of the nerve injury; he did not prescribe a neurological examination and speech therapy. Only released home with painkillers. One disappointment! Cleanliness, outside area and nursing staff were fine. However, in my opinion, are not of the greatest relevance, therefore only a star.

(Translated by Google) My visitor experience report is from the rescue center, the intensive care unit (D0), the neurosurgery / oral and maxillofacial surgery (house K) and the ENT ward (C1) My brother had a bad accident. He had a political trauma. More precisely, two independent fractures of the skull, several fractures of the jaw, a broken eye socket, broken midface, bruised cervical vertebrae, broken and bruised ribs, cuts and various large hematomas. After the completely inadequate initial treatment in another hospital, he came here, received first-class treatment, surgery and follow-up care. He was in the very best of hands from the moment it was taken. Even as a visitor, I can only highly recommend this hospital and the above-mentioned wards in the event of a serious accident. My brother is alive and he owes that to the treatment at the UKB Berlin. Without exception ALL (!!!) doctors, nurses and nurses made an extremely good and committed impression on me. Well trained, attentive and respectful. I was patiently explained what happened in the accident and how the treatment is now going on. At my request to see the X-ray and MRI images of my brother, the attending doctor took the time to show me everything, to explain everything and to take away my justified fear for him. You can tell that the sisters like their job. As he was slowly getting better, I noticed that they were very relieved to finally be able to make hopeful, positive predictions right up to the humorous discharge with a wink: "Nice to have met you, but hopefully we'll never see each other again ! " I hope you will read this review so that you can see again how irreplaceable and valuable I consider these people and their hospital to be. Thank you for everything.

The UKB is a very competent hospital and the doctors, nurses, cleaning staff and service staff are all super friendly. The waiting time at the NA is long (about 5 hours for me) but overall it's OK. If people didn't go to the NA where a family doctor is sufficient, that would shorten the waiting time. I would especially like to thank the entire staff of ward B0, especially Mr. Marx (AIP) for the absolutely painless and gentle blood collection.

(Translated by Google) I drove to the emergency room myself in the summer because of suspected fungal poisoning, had pain for 4 hours despite my lower abdomen! After an infusion and MRI, the doctor wanted to keep me there when I said no because I had to fly the next day, she said succinctly that I didn't need to come, and the examinations would have been otherwise. She sent me home unhealthily without any medication, on arrival I went to the doctor in TR had a bacterial infection. I got antibiotics and it was gone in a week. I understand the doctors that they are overworked, but as a patient I don't go there because it is boring at home. Some empathy would not be bad. (Translated by Google) unfortunately still waiting in suspected acute hearing loss and severe pain over 3 hours, so 1 point deduction. But by the very friendly and loving care and Orga assuming sister and the subsequent very empathetic and competent ENT doctor, I was very well looked after, operated a very thorough diagnosis and dismissed with fortunately "only" a severe ear infection and some drugs home. If it is not until tomorrow noticeably better, I may even come back right away. It gave me the feeling of being not just a number, but that serious to me is troubled !!

The hospital looks good and clean. But the service is total 👎👎👎👎👎👎 Everytime I asked the nurses for help, they always came about 1 hour later, though it was very urgent. My friend was informed that she would be discharged spontantely at the same day without any forecast, where no one could help her at that time to wrap up and the nurses told her to just wait in the lounge. Super bad service 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

This accident hospital used to have such a good reputation. *Intensive ward and the B1 are great, hard-working nurses and carers, which cannot be said about the S1B. If it were that easy, I would have had my husband embarrassed already. Terrible ward (neurological early rehab) The doctors in this accident hospital are great professionals.

(Translated by Google) I can only say good things about the hospital. Above all, I have the greatest respect for the ENT department. Thanks to Mr. Dr. Mittmann and Ms. Dr. My dizziness problem has disappeared more and more since the operation. The two of them accepted the problem without a twitch, which is why I had to go to the examination several times. They were always friendly and courteous despite the stress in their department. Of course you have to plan for waiting time, which is normal! I would always go to Mr. Dr. Mittmann and his team go with everything that has to do with my ears. The hospital can be really lucky to have him, not all otolaryngologists are great, I know what I'm talking about !!! Station C0 is also great. The sisters are constantly trying to make all patients happy. Natürlich muss man Wartezeit einplanen, was ja normal ist! No matter where, I have only met friendly and competent staff. (Special thanks to station D2) I can't understand the grumbling about the long waiting time in the rescue center, or the postponement of planned operations. It is an ACCIDENT HOSPITAL. There is not the first to get there who was there first, but it is treated according to urgency, and that's a good thing !!! The sports room is well equipped, the therapists pay attention to proper training, the swimming pool is equipped with a lift for wheelchair users and shower wheelchairs, is well heated and big enough. The physiotherapists are all great and do a great job. Only the constant change of doctors with the transit doctor is not so great. But that's the way it is.

So I have to say that overall I'm really excited about the UKB, I've been to several of them, I went to the emergency room on February 23rd, of course it's stressful, I also had to wait a bit, had very bad pain in my back and could hardly walk , the doctors immediately tried to relieve my pain and was then immediately admitted because of Mr. I then came to station B1. The ward doctor also explained to me very well what to do next. I then got a PRT injection, unfortunately it didn't help and I had surgery a day later. The senior doctor also explained everything to me in detail, so that even a layperson could understand it, so I thought that was really great. The doctors also asked every day how it worked and took it seriously. So to the station, I really have to praise everyone there, I hadn't yet experienced whether it was the service staff, always nice sayings and trying to fulfill all wishes, thank you very much, you are too good. The sisters and carers were the same, always trying hard and there was also time for a short chat, unfortunately I don't know all the names, I was able to remember one, Sister Daniela, dear, as I said, you don't know this kind of humanity in other houses. Thank you all.

There are sometimes very eager and friendly staff. After only 20 minutes I was invited in and blood was taken. After another 120 minutes a nurse came and asked me 1000 things, none of which were written down at all. I was then asked a second time. After 2 hours I was accidentally called for an X-ray and after another 3 hours I asked if they could tell me what happened next. The answer "no" was nice and dry and he was gone. After another hour someone came to me and was surprised that I was still there because he forgot to send me home. I then waited 2 hours in the waiting room for the results and medication.

Futuristic, clean, but….. most important: the staff seems to be super happy to work there. An ER is among the most stressful work environments, still everyone (!) was very friendly yet self confident! Professional, able to adjust to all the different needs and at the same time able to set boundaries towards unnecessarily impatient clients (this is an ER, so you better to develop some patience as you’re not the only one in need of care!). Even in the face of worries and pain it was a great experience altogether! Great job, nurses are the best!

If you have to go to the emergency room, I can definitely not recommend this hospital to you. You wait about an hour at the registration desk because there is no one sitting there to take you in. If they were kind enough to send a nurse to the emergency room to register you, you can wait another hour or so until they examine you. I recommend that everyone if you have an emergency go to another hospital and you won't be helped here. By waiting here you will be healed faster than you will be helped.

This hospital, first and foremost the NA, is more of an illusion than reality. My father was advised by his doctor to go to the NA with an admission certificate. He has 2 fractures, one in the lumbar spine and one in the thoracic spine. We had to wait in the waiting room for 6 hours and thought my father would be taken care of during that time. Unfortunately, he lay in a room the whole time without any real treatment and was in pain. He didn't even get anything for the pain. At some point an x-ray was carried out and the fractures were clear, but according to the doctor there was nothing that could be done and my father was discharged. The doctor's letter then said false fractures and recommended Ibu and Novaminsulfone. Not more. 1 week later he was operated on in another clinic because the seriousness was apparently recognized there and a 3rd fracture was also visible. I really have a lot of understanding, especially because of the lack of staff and the like, but something like that just doesn't work at all.

Transfer to the UKB, examination and later discussion in the medical committee. Surgery appointment and subsequent rehab ... everything under one roof. They’re a joke, got 3 appointments for an operation and each time it was canceled. The excuse is “we are an emergency hospital and cannot plan ahead”. You’re a bunch of clowns.

I came from the emergency room earlier. Today I can say for the first time that at least the doctor from the emergency room (neurologist) really made an effort to help me and I just think that's great, he also took the time, despite my cat hair allergy. Thank you very much for that. 'Most of the sisters there are nice too. I was there from around 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Had to have emergency surgery. Almost everyone was nice to help calm my nerves. Good doctors, most of the nurses were nice. One specifically in the night shift was so sweet and caring! With the current load of patients - I had an overall good experience there. Thank you!!

I had 3 knee operations there from 2012 - 2016 (unfortunately as a child I couldn't really decide where to go :))). All three were fucked up so badly that I suffered from it throughout my youth from 12 to 24. Surgeons and another hospital just shook their heads and now everything possible has been done to correct the mistakes made back then. It's a real shame because my grandmother had a great heart operation there, but unfortunately it wasn't successful for me. Only a few of the staff were friendly and they treated you a bit too harshly. The hospital may have improved a bit in the meantime, I have no idea. But the bad memories are deep and I will never be able to go here again. :/

Nice building, nice garden. People are generally friendly. It’s a good hospital in comparison with the other options in Berlin. Unfortunately, waiting times even with appointment are extreme! Bring lunch and drinks, even when your appointment is in the morning. Trust me, you’ll need it. The canteen has only the most unhealthy food options. Same with the hospital food served in the rooms. Comically bad and unhealthy…

...when I was brought into the treatment room the first question was why I didn't go to a doctor. Well, I tried and it was simply impossible in this field. Everyone recommended a rescue center to me. Since the pain was very severe and had a strong impact on me, I did so, even though I was actually embarrassed about having to commit staff to an NA. Despite this initial disappointment, I would like to be fair and thank the nursing staff, they were very friendly to me across the board (to the complaining and complaining patients there, try to be a little more understanding and friendly, it will come back). The interaction with each other was also very harmonious and mixed with humor, that's how it should be. Now to the two doctors who probably liked to have fun with me and used me for training purposes. Maybe they wanted to make it clear to me again that I have no business here. They didn't even begin to listen to what I said, made it very clear that they decided how things went and caused me almost unbearable pain. After the diagnosis, I again said that I was of the opinion that the actual problem had not been assessed. But she wasn't interested. So I go home with this “harmless” diagnosis. The next day the pain got worse and I went to another clinic, not far from UKB. I had lost trust in the UKB. Everything was friendly here, doctors who listened to me and in the end it turned out that the UKB wasn't a sufficient diagnosis. It wasn't wrong, but as I suspected, the bigger problem was overlooked and it could have ended badly. With a good lawyer I would be a millionaire in other countries.

I had an accident at work on April 3rd and was taken to the UKB by emergency services. I was positively surprised by the entire organization, from the emergency room to the ward. In the emergency room, doctors and nurses worked hand in hand and were very well organized; I always felt treated well and loved! The diagnosis in the emergency room was quick, after a few hours I was in the IMC, and a day later in ward D2. A big compliment to all the nursing staff, everyone was very nice and professional. The entire building is clean and very modern. I am a nurse myself and can only say how good everything was; Despite my difficult situation, I am glad to have ended up in this hospital.

It is good to know that there is help on Saturday and Sunday. The place is very busy, but the staff is polite and nice. I am very satisfied with my examination and the way I was treated.

(Translated by Google) After metal removal on 08/21/2020 in the right wrist. Education by anesthesia doctor was great. Afterwards on Ward D1 the nurses have partly missed their job. You get sloppy when you speak your mind. Had an operation on Friday, on Saturday a person in a white coat came and stopped in the door and didn't even say who she was. It just came: I just wanted to see if everything was okay. We said yes and she was gone. We thought she would come back, we're waiting for it today. Hygiene is underground, the table is wiped with a rag and then the toilet is cleaned. The thought that you are the last room on the ward makes you shudder. You don't need to be surprised if you get sick and catch any germs. BIG praise to the Yellow Angels. The ladies are super nice and help wherever they can. The occupational therapy department was also great: The ladies tried very hard and I got a tip for a good occupational therapist in my area. I'm supposed to do another 4 weeks of rehab. THANKS TO GOD, DON'T GO TO STATION D1. After I decided to go at my own request, the doctor threw me at my head: "Then I must now expect that the further treatment would not be paid for. "I think there is such a thing as a treatment obligation and I am not being compelled to do anything.

I would like to comment on the cafeteria. If you want to be served nicely, please go to the nice gentleman, the ladies don't care about you at all. After I had queued and it was my turn, I was emphatically informed that the ladies were now having a business conversation. I think you should serve your guests. You can also find time for business discussions when there are no customers at the checkout.

I've never seen such incompetent staff in a rescue center!!! And what's more, I was alone in the rescue center and still waited 6-7 hours. Absolutely not recommended.

The incentive to become a doctor should not just be based on being able to say you are a doctor because of the prestige. What should distinguish a doctor is that there is a little more than just specialist knowledge, but also sensitivity and empathy. The doctors and nurses sit behind a glass window in their office in the emergency room and deliberately look away when you go there to ask a question. After waiting forever and with zero attention or information, I realized that I could have been released a long time ago. A pity. It gives the impression that people are forgetting who the service provider is for whom.

A really great hospital, the UKB! Despite the rescue center being full, there was no noticeable rush. Everyone exuded a very calming calm. When tears flowed, there was a hand that calmed you. My special thanks go to B1, neurosurgery. From the cleaning staff, to the boys and girls from the transport, to the yellow angels who bring the food, to the anesthesia in the operating room, to the nurses and all the doctors, EVERYONE is very loving, sensitive and warm with every single patient dealt with. In the morning you were greeted with a song and there was laughter. At least you had the impression that everyone was having fun and putting a lot of heart into their work. As a patient you just feel comfortable and can just concentrate on yourself and getting well. Everyone greeted you and spoke to you in an understandable manner and not in technical jargon! But above all, they are also competent in the UKB!! They were finally able to help me with a third operation within 10 weeks. (The first 2 were in a large hospital in Steglitz. Everything written here was the opposite. A few sisters were quite nice in Steglitz. ) Even if the journey took over 1 hour for me. I would go to UKB again and again!

Emergency Easter Saturday evening - after 3 hours on the phone with the medical service, I went to the emergency room at the UKB myself. I expected everything, but NOT such a positive experience!!!!! A young doctor was there for me without any significant waiting time , ordered all the necessary examinations and after 2 hours I was able to go home calmly and with my leg bandaged. As I said, not expected and soooo positively surprised. Thank you for such a good experience!!!!!
