Mittelallee 8, Ward 27B. It's just sad what's going on... You don't feel welcome here at all, on the contrary, very unfriendly and very annoyed, we were just happy when we were discharged the next day after the operation. Except for 2-3 sisters, the others are out of place. Pure disappointment for us. I feel like the ladies have forgotten who their patients are, they're just kids who just need love and attention, compassion... Please find another job... Our special thanks go to that surgical team, The senior physician Dr Salchow, the anesthesiologist and the others really did a great job. We were always convinced of this, otherwise we would have chosen this hospital for the operation.

The most important! It looks clean there. A bit sad for a children's hospital but good staff who know their job. Only the friendliness needs some improvement. When I'm there with a child with mobility problems and then words like "if the Oind isn't there right away, it's the next person's turn" then that's something that makes me angry. So think first and then talk. That's why I deducted a star.

(Translated by Google) a nightmare! You arrive there with a sick child in an ambulance and are only stupidly turned on by the lady at the front desk. What a greeting! Then the waiting time is 5 hours. In tears we took a taxi back without an investigation. But with a feeling that is Berlin too!

(Translated by Google) Dreadful! The bad thing is that in Berlin you no longer dare to go to the emergency room with a small baby. Hygienic conditions are really not good anymore! Because of this, many children first become infected with dangerous bacteria. That is known and absolutely negligent. The waiting times are absolute hell. But here you can not blame the staff. They are completely overwhelmed by the rush. Which also has much to do with the fact that the emergency room is used as a normal doctor's office. And that unfortunately primarily by our foreign fellow citizens, who are used to it from their own countries to go to the hospital, since it is here, not as usual with us, doctors' practices for initial treatment. This makes me personally too angry every time you sit there with baby and really have a problem. But the fact that one feels as a "German" in the Virchow absolutely in the minority, raises many a lot of displeasure and is really no longer solemn. (Original) Schrecklich!

(Translated by Google) An absolute impudence as we were treated there. Our daughter is 10 months old and had over 40 fever! NOBODY took care of her, measured no fever, no control etc! We had to wait 2 hours, children dancing alive and happily through the waiting room were treated with a little cold in front of us. After 2 hours waiting, our daughter seemed absent-minded and apathetic. We asked when we finally can to the doctor. Suddenly it was said: oh was a communication problem, they did not know how bad it was! I beg your pardon? We said that explicitly at the registration !!! The funny sister at the registration rang me rude on why I give her no suppository, I told her because my pediatrician said we should give it to her after consultation with a doctor and thus be very careful because fever is not bad in itself. She just said, well you can give it to her at 37.5, you did wrong in that case. What does she really think who she is? Immediately I go to the hospital with her for the examination and do not have to listen to such a crap from someone who is not even a doctor. I recommend everyone to avoid this hospital! Once and never again! Your cheeky answers to our questions have now brought you a star in the rating. The waiting room was also very uncomfortable. Absolutely not recommended!

(Translated by Google) Just terrible ! While I was in a Kh, my son (15 months old) had a high fever for 4 days (41-41.8). On the fourth day (a Saturday) my husband decided to go to Kh with the little one because it didn't get any better. After measuring fever and looking into her mouth once, the doctor sent him home and said he just kept on suppositories! On Monday morning it was very bad with the little one, got blue lips and hands and feet and had difficulty breathing. We went to a pediatrician and you just had to take blood to see that the little one has bacterial infections in the blood !!! Under no circumstances will I put my foot in the Kh again and advise against this!

Old Swede, it feels like 1 child is being treated every hour and I thought in the evening on Saturday at 5 p.m. there were only 8 families in front of us, they're about to close here, it's only until 8 p.m. and there are still 5 families waiting and there were also families in the treatment rooms. Unfortunately, children always get the worst things on holidays and long weekends. KV on-call has no pediatricians and said they go to Virchow 7 on the waiting list, waiting time 25 minutes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂 If I don't get something from my own kids, then I'll definitely get infected here, everyone waiting in a very small space 😬 I'm making my will. We were inside for almost 2 minutes, a swab was done and a prescription was given. The doctor and nurse were nice to us. p.s. Yes, I know it's an "emergency room", for us it's an emergency too, but some people are here because of laps and our healthcare system is at its end. The KV hotline itself said that they don't have pediatricians who make house calls on holidays/Sundays and that there are KV pediatricians specifically in the hospitals for this purpose and we should go there.

(Translated by Google) This is the worst child emergency clinic there is. Not only because of the endless waiting time and the unorganized process, no, even the doctors / interns do wrong diagnoses here. The sisters at the registration work listless and do not pay attention to the waiting faces of the parents at all. I can not recommend this beautiful child emergency clinic at all. A star is even too much. Glad you make your way to another clinic (Original) Das ist die schlechteste Kindernotfallklinik die es gibt.

All the Assi parents who can't come up with a single, grammatically correct sentence here have to understand one thing: an emergency room is intended for emergencies, not for moderate fever, typical child-like stomach aches and general "malaise". An emergency room is for EMERGENCY cases, we are talking about broken bones, potentially life-threatening injuries and/or symptoms that indicate these. Go damn it to the GP where you belong and stop clogging up the NA with your trivialities. Waiting times of 6 hours and so on. arise because of people like you who act completely irrationally and are surprised that employees react the way they - understandably - do.

They are gambling with children lives by treating symptoms only! 4 years old girl was 2 times hospitalised within 5 days due to low o2 saturation in blood (less than 85 %) first time they gave her o2 for 2 days, said she has viral infection and Sent her home without any allergy tests, lungs x-ray or heart echo. One could hear the girl's lung roar but they said lungs are clear we know that, no need for any tests. 5 days later again in emergency care with the same issue but this time they think it is asthma attack but again only throwing diagnosis without any tests just providing o2. One night they even took the o2 monitor because another child needs it more. Are you telling me you have only one machine in the hospital? After insisting on doing more tests for the girl and stop only treating the symptoms the diagnosis was allergy against dust, grass, animals, etc.. and that her lungs are full with mucus. We don't know even if this diagnosis is correct anymore. I just hope no child will go through this again. The photo is for the dust (definitely accumulated  over more than a week) under the bed of a 4 years old girl diagnosed with allergy in station 15. I rest my case

The Uternsillia were not clean. Ansteckungshefahr. His mother was standing next to me and was shocked. The doctor needs a vacation for a longer period of time. She is definitely nervous. She was of the opinion that it makes no sense. We do not understand their language. No, we were just shocked and I would have preferred to take my son somewhere else. From customer service they do not understand. In such a case, the customer must have the right to leave the job with 0 €. I felt deprived and treated badly. I was about to tick out. That was too fast. Could be due to the influence of alcohol with previous alcohol consumption and a spent New Year celebration. I just hope that it was not a coke doctor. (Translated by Google) The doctor has been waiting for 11 hours to sign the discharge papers. 11 HOURS! The last. If I could I would take the child and go. They are crazy. Saftladen. Update: since the two doctors were unable to write a 3-page report for the discharge within 11 hours, the 2-day-old child had to stay one more night in the Charite while the mother with caesarean section was in the maternity hospital in Pankow. It is so inhumane and unspeakably disrespectful to the mother that one would like to hang up a complaint about the supervision of a child because of child abduction on these two incompetent full maids. The mom is crying in Pankow and can not go to her baby or you are unable to release the baby and now unnecessarily holds it in the Charité for another indefinite time. No new mother is to be wished for this incompetence and laziness. Not to mention the effects on the psyche and the mother-child bond. I want to scream in the face of these doctors. I am shocked. We have had three appointments since the beginning of 2023 and had to wait at least an hour twice. These were meeting appointments with a specific named employee, although some of them were represented without stating reasons or giving advance notice. The doctor was never prepared for any appointment. Once we had to explain everything twice. Once we saw the doctor leave the department before our appointment only to make us wait for over an hour.

(Translated by Google) I don't quite understand the 2 other reviews. Yes, long waiting is the order of the day, but hello, we're talking about the Charitè here in the capital. It should be clear to you beforehand that many people come here (including us from outside). Unfriendliness can only be experienced at a special point in the registration. The doctors know that and even point out as a patient that  OTon: "... go in there and then go past the registration with the unfriendly staff ...") The doctors and nurses were always friendly and nice, they looked after our son wonderfully. We were there a total of 6-7 times from 2015 - 2017 because our son had craniosynostosis and had an operation there. The pediatric clinic / pediatric surgery is located on the central avenue of the clinic site, as the name suggests, that it runs through the middle of clinics / wards. We liked it a lot, greenery and the trees ...

(Translated by Google) I do not know how to say it. My son had a fever of 39.7 yesterday and had gone with antipyretic. Next day 39.5 had a fever. With fever medication away again because my pediatrician is not there, because the practice is closed and I did not want to see the substitute doctor, I went to the clinic. Ask at the front desk, why am I here? I told everything. We measure fever again and then they can wait 4-6 hours. Fever was down again, of course, because of the suppository. Oh, he called the doctor himself and asked how long I would wait for him. Oh my child had had a febrile seizure twice. Impudence. Failure to provide assistance. It is best to always get an ambulance. Frechheit. Unterlassene Hilfeleistung. Am besten immer Rettungswagen holen.

My daughter stayed all together one and half months in the Charité Kinderklinik (Several different stations) in the last months. She had a major surgery at the end and also stayed tow nights in the Intensivstation. We are very grateful for all the doctors and nurses, not just the professional diagnosis and helpful communication, but also the way they treat small kids ( which I notice during the whole time) . Totally respect for the doctors and nurses at the kinder Intensivstation! And again a lot of thanks for Prof. Dr. Rothe!

I was in the pediatric emergency room with my child on a Thursday afternoon. The entire team is quick, just as is necessary in the emergency room. Despite the announcement of a long waiting time, we arrived surprisingly quickly. Everyone we dealt with, nursing staff, assistant doctor and senior physician, were very friendly and empathetic, acted wonderfully with my child and answered all of my questions. I am very happy that we were here and grateful for the good treatment.

Unfortunately, we had to go to the emergency room or KV consultation on December 25th, 2023 because my daughter developed a painful rash all over her body after a stomach ache. We were greeted at reception in a very unfriendly and annoyed manner. The waiting time was ok at 1 1/2 hours, but then the even more annoyed pediatrician came and immediately tried to dismiss us as having a nut allergy. I specifically drew attention to the previous virus, but they weren't interested. We were sent home after 2 minutes with an allergy medication. End of song... it was rubella and the allergy medication was completely free. There was always a lack of friendliness and empathy towards the little patients!

Remove the word emergency from any place from this facility. The worst experience in my life. +6 hours waiting list anytime you come. You leave the place worse than arrived.

(Translated by Google) A big compliment to all doctors and sisters! Hats off! I can understand the annoyance of some parents when it takes a long time but still you should think along and ask why. It is also clear to me that it takes a long time to wait for hours but there are also emergencies where the children have priority. As a parent you should rather try to keep calm and not immediately attack the doctors. That does not help anyone. In the end, they only do their job and that very well. Complaints should be preferred at the top and not at the doctors.

(Translated by Google) Went there with our son. We were immediately noticed and the usual procedures in our hospital system were queried, insurance etc. At the same time, a sister gave our son a painkiller. After a first evaluation, we were sent to the X-ray, also here speedy treatment. When we returned to the emergency room, we were asked to wait a few moments for the doctor to complete the diagnosis. Our son had a hairline crack in his arm. This was then plastered and after a relatively short time we were able to leave the hospital again. Both sisters and doctors were very friendly and made a professional impression. I can not confirm the criticism that I read here. However, at the same time, there were many patients who blocked an emergency room with "classic" teething, fever, malaise, and so on. The conspicuous was a certain group of people, for which the Charité even has a security service always in the ER. We would like to thank the team of the emergency department for the great and fast deployment.

Friendly, English speaking, gentle and professional staff (at least the ones we've encountered). The facility itself is absolutely beautiful! The only downside, and it's a huge one is the waiting times. I came here 3 times already with my kids and every time we had to wait around 3 hours before seeing a doctor.

I can't explain how the negative reviews come about. It's a bit confusing, but in an emergency, children will be treated friendly and quickly here!

For my son‘s fever, diarrhea, etc. They kept us waiting without any explanation for over 5 hours. If we knew how long it’d take, we could go out for a food and come back but since they were too rude to give us any information, we needed to stay there. It’s emergency care….

The medical care was very good, everything was examined very thoroughly. The entire staff was extremely friendly, really nice and in a good mood. That's why I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews. Maybe it was a coincidence today, but from my point of view the children's rescue center is absolutely recommended.

(Translated by Google) 2x there provoke a provocation with our child and both times we were very satisfied. The doctors and nurses at Station 29 were always friendly, always smiling, you could come to them anytime and get a friendly response. It was looked at in short intervals for the little one. At the onset of the allergy there was immediate help and it was taken very touching to our son. (Translated by Google) Ward 29: Nursing staff friendly and attentive. Dietician care was also good. The doctors are unfortunately very hard to get hold of, always short. There are many waiting times during food challenge that could be avoided. The playroom is in bad condition - everything is broken, little selection, hardly a complete game, no puzzles or similar - it's a shame when children have to wait a long time on the ward. The food is not particularly good; Fruit unfortunately hard and unripe every day, you would have to leave it for a week before it is edible.

08.02.24 almost 6 am the worst experience in care for my child 8, he arrived with a fever and even vomited in the waiting room and on top of that with his asthma. As soon as the nurse or doctor who treated me arrived, she started yelling at me in front of my child who was very sick. I told him that he could develop pneumonia if his fever and cough are not treated and he told me that this was not an emergency. In the little that I know how to speak the language, I told her that I'm worried that she's vomiting and has a fever and she just yelled at me. These types of people should be evaluated as they should be before sending them to the children's area. Okay, I'm a foreigner, but that doesn't give me the right to be treated like that lady treated me. This is my first bad experience in medical care. If the firefighters took me it's because I had no other choice. Nobody is crazy to call the fire department. 🥵💔😥Very grateful for this beautiful country but that attitude was wrong from the lady who treated me. He lacks empathy. In my point of view, lack of vocation🤨

Every time you visit, no matter what the little thing is, you have to wait, wait, wait, wait. For example, I had to wait 6 hours for the doctors to tell me that I didn't have a concussion, what's the point?! Process people according to their speed so that you can accept new people more quickly, but no, it's better to make each person wait for half an eternity. Simply embarrassing

I visited the emergency service due to my son's severe pain. Despite registering around 21h, we endured over 5 hours of waiting without any updates. This experience showcased a remarkably poor standard of emergency service, never seen so bad service.

Terrible!!! terrible!!!terrible!!! especially the nurses!!! there is only one adequate one! The rest are arrogant, they don’t do what the doctor says, they didn’t bring us pills for 3 days, I thought we didn’t need to drink, the doctor came and said you take them, I said no, no one gave us pills (the ones we need for health, we drink them all the time ) my 11-year-old child came for a puncture, and before the results of the examination, he was stuffed with IVs and pills!!! Now the child is not eating, he is vomiting, and he feels terrible!!! I DO NOT ADVISE GOING TO THIS DEPARTMENT!!! WE WERE ON THE 3rd FLOOR OF THE 29TH DEPARTMENT!!! RUN AWAY FROM HIM!!! I AM DISAPPOINTED IN CHARITÉ 🤬
