Friendly members and good community. There is not a lot of equipment but it usually not too busy. There isn't any music played in the main space but this is down to taste (I prefer it). Unfortunately let down by (mostly) very rude staff, especially if your German isn't at conversational levels yet. On top of this, they operate on the normal German gym membership values of 3 month notice for cancellation - miss it and you're looking at another year's worth of fees, even if you've no intention of using it again. This is relatively standard but there are gyms where it isn't the case. Find one of them instead. Edit: Removed a star as they attempted to have this (I believe quite fair) review taken down by claiming they had no record of me and that I was lying. (I supplied correspondence emails and contract scan to prove otherwise.) Edit 2: They have made another attempt to remove this review using largely the same arguments, as well as citing my previous edit. Edit 3: They sent a legal letter directly to me stating that I needed to remove my review, agree to some additional terms, and to pay for their legal costs, or that they would seek further legal action. I retained a lawyer and responded, declining. They then sent an additional legal letter stating they would waive the fees but keeping the other conditions, again with the potential of legal action should I fail to do so. I have again declined.

They tried to get this review removed by claiming I never visited. Maybe they should invest in the gym instead of hiring a law firm to clean up their bad reputation online?

It has a very local feel, meaning they can come across as a bit rude and wary towards "new" people. The owner discreetly checked on me a few times to make sure i wasn't breaking any rules. Hip nomads might not feel at home. Other than that it's not bad, everything is clean and well-maintaned. The step class was welcoming but since it's a closed-knit group not beginner friendly because they've been doing the choreo for some weeks prior.
