I’m a club member since many years and at the time nothing is working properly. 2 of my expensive sunglasses were stolen, the wellness area is not taking good care of, I slipped and fell and was taken to the hospital because of the the wett floor, the personal are very impolite and rude. This is a big mistake and wasting money to join this club.

Gym meh, Hotel catastrophic! I’m a member for almost a year there and for 130EUR/month I’m disappointed! Although most personal trainers are nice and competent the staff at reception is untrained and unmotivated. Fire escape doors are locked repeatedly, the machines are not the newest and squeak a lot esp. the treadmills, when a machine is broken it takes ages to repair/replace (some machines are only around once so wait weeks to use that exact thing again), the showers in the women’s changing rooms are not stable (hot/cold/hot/cold) and the soap dispensers are rusty. Lots of disgusting old stinky cleaning cloths are locken in a stall between two functioning stalls and spilling over into the others, yuk!!! See photo! No one bothered to change the clocks all over the gym from summer to winter time although I asked at least 5 times, not crucial but shows how little they care in this establishment. The list goes on! I checked into the hotel once, absolutely never again!!! First Frau Isecke did not give me ANY information just handed me the keycard (I’m German so no language excuse!) and although I asked questions she gave me one word answers! The Head of bed ripped, the gap between head of bed and the matress is so huge your head falls in no matter how many mites poop contaminated blankets you shove in! Blanket is not a blanket anymore just mites fesces!! See photo!!! The sink, just see photos, calcified! It was nice once, I’ve been there in 2012, but nothing seems to have been renovated… it’s a pity!!!

Kompletter Reinfall.

Just to make it clear I am writing a review on the gym and not the hotel. I have been a gym member for the past two years. I became a member because the manager insured me that they don't allow aggressive people to enrol. Two years after and the place is full of groups of angry, disgusting and loud men who talk on the phone in the workout areas, throw their towels everywhere on the floor, put their dirty shoes on the benches in the locker rooms, and sometimes even train with their jeans on. And don't get me started on the sauna area. Women don't feel safe in there, believe me. The staff is always helpful and polite though, the training equipment is new and of high quality. The problem I see is mainly the low quality and lack of manners of many of the new members. If I am paying all this money, then I need to feel safe and protected in the place I come to relax and train. I've just cancelled my membership...

Really spoilt for the choices but had goulash and salad as lunch. Simple yet burst with flavours

The building needs a bit of a fresh refurb, but is mostly acceptable. The facilities are ok, but there are some minor cleanliness issues and frustrations, like the broken water fountain. By far the worst part of Aspria though is the customer service. The sales staff push for contract closure for the gym even if it means lying to clients to close the deal. The customer service staff have no knowledge and no authority to help in most cases. And as soon as a query becomes anything more than simply giving you a gym towel, they advise you to call or email some other team. These other teams never answer their phones not reply to emails, so it feels like everyone is just trying to rid themselves of responsibility of helping. The coworking space is full of loud children in the morning, closes at 2pm, and has WiFi not strong enough to even take a video call. Ultimately, this gym is fine when things are going well. Unfortunately, when they aren't going well (which is too frequently), you won't get any support from staff fixing things

No water fountains, no transparency on rates, and unfriendly gym staff (I was scolded for using more than one big towel for swimming + sauna). Ultimately it’s not well-suited for international guests.

The hotel would be great but the service is terrible. It’s not what you expect when traveling. As other comments said, breakfast isn’t worth it at all. It is the first time I see such a poor service for this price. You can only choose between croissants, 1 type of bread, 1 type of yogurt, 1 small fruit salade: that’s not what you expect when going in an hotel. Room is good but it wasn’t cleaned up when I came back at 5:30pm.

I ended up really enjoying my stay here thanks to the excellent facilities. I got off on the wrong foot with this hotel because of the sauna concept of the rooms, the AC situation can be quite frustrating until you ask them to bring a big fan. Once I figured out how to deal with the heat of the rooms - I really enjoyed the pool, and discovering the various relaxation rooms in the section below the roof deck. Just a few minutes in these rooms was all I needed to feel maximum relaxation. The pool really does seem like it could be the best in town. In the few days of our stay, my child learned to swim in there during family hours - so I’m really grateful. Definitely you get the feeling like the hotel was an afterthought as the high end health club business seems to be their main focus. My experience was that staff could be more welcoming and attentive to the hotel guests; be warned that this building has poor accessibility - the lobby is up quite a steep set of steps - and I constantly had to get the attention of staff and I felt like I was annoying them when I had to ask for help with my son’s pushchair or open the accessibility gate. This was in stark contrast where at other hotels there’s always a concierge who can’t wait to help you… Food and transport options are okay, I recommend using scooters and there’s a really good Uzbek restaurant round the corner from the hotel that I recommend.

The rooms and decor take good pictures but are worn... Lots of space, but the layouts are... creative. And it's odd to have to go thru a turnstile to get to your hotel room, no? I get that it's typically a gym/spa... But... Ya. My parents said they slept well enough, but wouldn't recommend it for longer stays.

For business I was staying at Aspria Ku’damm Berlin for 12 nights and I really started to wonder whether the Aspria is really a hotel. I’ve come to the conclusion it’s just a side-business for the Wellness Aspria. (Need Sherlock Holmes to book a room on their website). During a stay of 12 nights: * the bed was made every day but the sheets were never replaced. * they never vacuumed the room * when I mentioned this at checking out, the only reaction was "oh, we'll let housecleaning know" No form of appology. Staff didn't seem to care. After 8pm it's impossible to sit at the bar and order coffee or any other drink Getting the right bill was also quite a puzzle with items of another guest. My experience: The location: Although the street of the hotel is not really appealing, it’s reasonably quiet and only a few hundred meters from the Kurfürstendamm, where there are plenty of restaurants, supermarket and other stores (the Greek restaurant Ach! Niko ? Ach is very recommendable). Also the S-Bahn Charlottenburg is only about 7 minutes walk away. The hotel has a parking garage, so for a visit to Berlin a fine location. My arrival at the hotel was a real Benny Hill experience. The only thing missing was the Benny Hill tune… I was given room 111 and when I came first to this room the keycard didn’t work. So, a little frustrated I went back to reception. The receptionist reactivated the card and kindly joined me upstairs to the room and the key did work. Then the WIFI code didn't seem to work. Back at reception I was given a code that worked. The first morning I went to breakfast, which was fairly simple. For 14 euro’s you can choose from 2 kinds of tasty fresh bread and croissants, 2 kinds of blandly tasting cheese, Nutella, jelly, (boiled and baked) eggs and some yoghurt. Plenty of choices for coffee, tea and hot chocolate, but I cannot say the cappucino or Latte Macchiato had a great taste. When I mentioned my room number at the breakfast staff, it wasn’t on the list. Well, according to the list I was in another room: 112. They’d check with reception. When I came back later I had to ask, but was told that everything was in order. The list was correct… Well, lets check with reception… First I complained about the noisy bed in my room 111. Then checked why breakfast staff thinks I am in 112. “But you are in 112” was the answer. We have guests arriving in 111 today. NO, I slept in 111, my stuff is in 111, so how can I be in 112 then? So I proposed they’d give me the key for 112 so I could move my stuff from 111 to 112 (this also solved my noisy bed issue). They gave me the keycard for 112, but at room 112 the keycard didn’t work… Grrrr. Back to friendly receptionist to get it solved. In room 112 the bed was fine. Basically the room looked fine, although the long pile carpet was not exactly cleaned well. I guess they’d never vacuum here. Also cleaning the bed. I was here for 12 nights and the only thing they did was shaking up the pillow and folding the blanket, but never cleaned the bed, nor vacuum the room. I know this because of the visible loose fibers on the carpet that a vacuum cleaner definitely would have cleared. A little stain in the bed that was there the first day has been there during my entire stay. Cleaning your room is not a priority in this hotel. You get clean towels and fold the toilet paper, but I guess that's it. Also the bed is a bit strange. The bed header is not straight so there is a big gap between the comfortable matrass and the header. The small pillow fills the gap entirely. If you, like me always push your pillow to the header when you sleep, it’s a bit uncomfortable. Next, the shower… The door to the toilet/shower closes the shower nicely, keeping the toilet and the show separated. Clever… So I thought… But the gap, which is the result at the hinge side is huge, so the water splashes and gushes through that side. One big plus is the shower head itself. One word: F A N T A S T I C! I've never had such nice powerful and comfortable shower before in a hotel. That’s a keeper for sure.

I’m commenting on the gym, not the hotel (you cannot leave reviews separately, which is a bit odd). While the gym has a pool and a fairly comprehensive course programme, what is really annoying for the steep price level is that the communication of the membership team is truly terrible. Classes get cancelled without any notifications being sent to people who had explicitly registered (I had other members also showing up with me, also checking their emails again and again, but none of us had received anything), which not just happened for me personally but also when swimming classes for my daughter got cancelled. No call, no email, you just show up and wonder what happened. They then don’t proactively offer a repeat class (for my daughter’s swimming lessons, which I paid for separately!) but seem to assume that you don’t mind them delivering one class less than what you had paid for. Emails generally only receive a reply if you send a few reminders and get lucky. It would be a great place to work out at (I particularly appreciate that it has parking for members), but the service level is simply entirely unacceptable for the price level. I’ll not renew my membership after my current annual contract is over.

So weit so gut. Schade eigentlich.

I booked the deluxe room accessible. The staff/personel were very hulpfull in all things asked. The room was comfortably big. My only suggestions: Get a power point next to your bed Get the service call next to your bed. Remember a disabled often can't walk at night to the suggestions written above, The TV is great. However make it digital, if you decide to stay in the hotel you would like to watch a movie or tv on demand, from your bed. Adding for example Netflix,HBO or Disney etc. 1 is enough! After the gym and spa relax in bed time!

At the beginning I was happy with the warm welcoming and the services offered by the club, I was told that I will receive communications in English but once I was in the club, all the communications received were in German except 1 email, after a few months, I didn't receive any feedback from the club after emails and emails asking and asking, it seems that they just ignored any communication. I will recommend the club if you are German sepaker. Unfortunately, after 0 feedback I will request to leave the club.

Not a typical Hotel. Focused on their gym members and some staff isnt use to "Hotel Demands or Standards". AC did not work properly in the heat and no alternative solution was found.... Overall impression was ok, far from Mindblowing

Judging hotel and restaurant only, haven't used spa or fitness center. Rooms are pretty spacious and quiet. Useful thing - they put a sink outside the bath (shower/bath & toilet). Very nice choice of healthy dishes. Unfortunately not much beer too choose from. Service very friendly and helpful.

Make sure you use the many different excellent saunas. There is a big pool and fitness facility. Breakfast is good and its quiet at night. Great place for business people, who want to use their spare time to exercise or sauna. Rooms and beds are very good, 2 niggles though: a very high bath tub, which is not easy to get in if you just want to use it for shower; when you go to loo at night you probably will wake your partner, as the light goes also on in changing cum sink room, which is only partitioned by a wall that doesn't do up to sealing

Stayed here for one night. The hotel rooms in a gym/spa concept is weird but it worked very well for me to have access to a nice sauna area!

Atmosphere change every day, different people... everything Individual on that place. Not respect sauna Nu style....

The fitness options are great and were my main reason to choose this stay but the hotel service itself is really not worth the price. The room service isn’t really cleaning the place, you can’t get a water cooker like in every normal hotel in your room, also no coffee before 6 and the furniture is making a cracking noise which is really annoying when you are trying to sleep.

Rooms are ok, only if you don't like to view tv from the bed there is missing a chair. Also for writing the chair is not adequate. Good massage, nice staff, but ignorante and inflexible management.

Absolutely overpriced gym. Dirty locker rooms/showers with lots of hair and garbage on the floor. Unwashed for weeks mirrors at the gyms, unfriendly and arrogant staff at the reception, confusions in the schedule. Even 2 years ago it was better. It's getting worse and dirtier, unfortunately. For half a year there was a bucket in the middle of the gym for water dripping from the roof. At the same time water tubes doesn’t work well so for drinking you should almost lick the metal parts. Most of the visitors of the gym are 60+ age during the day.
