Ostbloc is one of my favorite bouldering gyms in Berlin with a big variety of boulder problems (additionally there is also Joker grade, which includes more fun while climbing). Routesetters seem to work hard to change routes frequently and meaningfully. There is also area for physical exercises and MoonBoard. The only thing I didn’t like in the gym is air conditioning system which I think needs to be fixed, because everyone was sweating while it wasn’t that hot outside. It would also be good if locks for the lockers would be available. Changing room is also small for such size of gym.

Nice gym for bouldering. Very good variety of climbs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, has a nice cafe with food, coffee, and beer. Outdoor seating was also great for enjoying a beer on the water after climbing. Bonus points for having nice merch for sale and stickers to add to my climbing gym travel mug.

A great bouldering place. I go regularly with my daughter and she loves it. The community there is always very nice & it has a really relaxed feel. It is very spacious and there are loads great climbing routes. There are enough simple ones to keep beginners well entertained and enough difficult ones to keep you extremely challenged as you progress. They change them often too, which is great. It also has a section for small kids which is a great way to get kids in to climbing. I've seen dogs there and babies (not climbing 😂) and everyone is relaxed and respectful.

Nice area, great Boulder area. Staff was friendly and the routes were pretty interesting and fun to try. However, a big con was the fact that the place was extremely crowded. We expected a lot of people because it was a Wednesday night but this was crazy. It was like a crowded train station. Another con is the size of the changing rooms. 5 people in there and it felt pretty cramped. However, overall it was fun and it is definitely worth a try.

Such a great boulder gym: great atmosphere, super nice staff and people, good climbing, good music and good food and drinks (energy balls ftw) make it a place to come back to. Thanks for this time, looking forward to climbing here again 🤘

Good place for bouldering, next to the Spree. On a sunny day, the place lit up with natural lighting. They provide shoes for rent. Some options for drinks and food too.

Very relaxed atmosphere with interesting routes. Plus one star for having a crack problem too 😁

The gym is quite large and has everything you need (inc. moonboard), though the warm up/ stretching area could be a bit bigger as it can get quite crowded. The routes seem to get changed every 1-2 weeks and are often quite fun and original. Though the gaps between the last levels are huge, some lvl. 6 routes are straight up impossible even for the strongest climbers. The location is perfect for a cold one after the session!

Shame, the place seems quite nice, but the staff needs a review. had a really bad customer experience today. We were asking for some drinks which seemed to have run out. We then asked for an alternative and the Spanish girl behind the bar completely lost her temper and had a go at us for no reason. We literally just asked for some drinks. Not sure if that’s how you want to treat your customers

A great spot for bouldering, routes difficulty are numbered. Good food for the aftermath and easy going atmosphere all around. Chill spot direct by the Spree and a bird fly away from the Funkhaus. Will come again!!

Great routes, people and atmosphere. The music is really good. There is also a great selection of food and drinks for a nice break during a bouldering session.

This place is one of the best boulder halls I've ever been to. They have tons of different routes/problems at varying grades. They pretty much have every type you can think of and change them up quite often. It is quite busy in the evenings but there are so many boulders that you will have a place to climb. They have a good cafe and are super friendly. Definitely a great place to climb.

Great bouldering gym! Friendly staff and great atmosphere with lots of natural light and open space. Their setters do a great job to create climbs for all levels. Walls offer all kinds of angles from slab to roof climbs. Highly recommend

Meine liebste Halle in ganz Berlin.

Very nice climbing hall, challenging enough, good atmosphere to climb and to have a drink, food or snacks after! Routes change every 6 (or so) weeks, which makes it not boring. Affordable prices and nice staff! 🙌✅

Great for first time climbers. If you go before 2pm there is an early bird special price. You can rent shoes!!! Lockers are available but you must bring your own padlock. Friendly staff in both German and English. Bigginners/intermediate/expert climbs available. We went around 2pm and the place still had space for more climbers. Separate room for children climbers. Calisthenics work out area too! Parking available. Recommended.

It is a great boulder gym, the staff is very friendly and prices for beverages are fair. Busy on weekends, but all boulder gyms are, so something u gotta deal with. :)

Nice and spacious ! Large windows that allow natural light to make the climbing experience fun and riveting! Right next to a large lake... Makes me travel 18 kms in summers just to have a nice time here !!

My favourite bouldering gym for quite a while now. Not as big as Bertha, but much nicer in my opinion. They redo a big section of the walls every week, holds are never really grubby and generally a very pleasant vibe. Adjustable spraywall and a moonboard are also available.

Large hall, filled with exciting and challenging bouldering routes for all levels of difficulties. Hours upon hours of fun and climbing given the massive number of routes and varieties. Expect crowd to come after 12pm!

Big BoulderHalle with an upper floor where you will find different sports equipment you can use to either warm up or to get a break from the actual bouldering. I always enjoy coming here!

Very very nice boulder gym. It's quite big with ver nice routes in all difficulties. You can also borrow equipment. It has everything you need. Unfortunately there is no place to park your bike and it's not the best reachable with the train.

Ostbloc is my favourite climbing wall in Berlin. Great routes and facilities and nice coffee and cake too. I also take my grand children who live the kids area.

The bouldering was good and the place is recommended. Too bad they play trance music on really volume! Otherwise a 5 star. And the wardrobes and toilets could really need a lift up.

Really good atmosphere and a great introductory course. The stuff was amazing and made you feel at home. Instructor spoke great English and German. Definitely gonna come back soon!

Great variety of challenging routes. However, it's not clean enough for my expectations. Rented shoes had a bad odor and there were massive amounts of chalk on the boulders/grips. Sadly I could find only one brush during my stay which didn't seem to get much use. Men's pissoir had no soap and no towels... This was on a Saturday morning shortly after opening.

Great place to go bouldering. I love the atmosphere, and sitting outside afterwards near the water at sundown is very relaxing. The routes are interesting and well-graded. It would be great if there was a spray and paper towels to clean the yoga mats in the training area, as these are often smelly and full of other people's sweat, and it would be nice to be able to clean them.

My favourite place in Berlin. Spacious, comfy, good crowd. Surely can get busy, but if you choose times outside rush hours, it's a great experience.
