Extremely rude staffs. Stay away ! I went to the hostel at 14:00 from the airport, sleepless and tired, they said that the check-in time is 15:00 and I can wait in the lobby. When I asked again if my room was ready at 15:00, the girl at the reception (the short and baret wearer) said it wasn't ready yet, and when I asked her when it would be ready, she said sternly, they'll let us know when it's ready, I can't ask every 5 minutes. It's been 35 minutes and my room still wasn't ready so I went out to eat. When I came back to the hostel in the evening, there was no one at the reception and there was no bell to call. After waiting for 25 minutes, I called the hostel's phone, but no one answered, then the other girl working at the reception (anime type, with watery eyes) came to me shouting. She insulted me by saying you're so annoying and I won't check in with you and kicked me out of the hostel. When I asked what the problem was, she didn't answer and kept yelling at me. On my first night in Berlin, they let me out with an inhumanly ! Worst hostel I’ve ever booked. Looking at past reviews I saw that people complained the most about the rude receptionists. And I see that the owner of the hostel does not take any action on this issue.

I had a comfortable stay here. The rooms were clean and comfy. Bathrooms could have been a little more cleaner but can’t complain since it’s a hostel and no one can clean it soon after someone uses it. Location wise it’s almost central Berlin. The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. All you can eat breakfast is 9€ but you can also buy individual items , for example coffee for 1€. Check in is from 3pm but good thing is that reception is open 24/7 hence you can check in anytime after 3pm even if it’s 3am in the morning.

Nice hostel. Great location. Can buy eatables and other things very nearby as well. Clean and well maintained. Also has a church just next to it in fact in the same campus. Has a very big common hall with a decent breakfast to offer. No complaints. Must try.

I have stayed before in the Three Little Pigs hotel three times. My experience was there really satisfiying( before pandemi) But I do not after pandemi, how their stuff has changed. I recommended my best friend but turns out of a terrible experience for her. First of all, They forget to process my friends booking from the system. Tha's why they could not give her a room. But instead of being honest about that, and offering to stay in an another hostel by paying her expenses. they fired her from hostel in middle of the night by using an excuse that she is been so annoying during the whole booking process!

As a school class is this the right choice. As single traveler I would not recommend it. Breakfast was okay, better options around. Rooms okay, not more. Sanitary rooms could be better and more clean. For a night it is a good stay. Price reflects quality quite well.

Really lovely hostel! FORGOT to take pictures of the inside, but it's lush trust me. Shared bathrooms a bit old but clean mostly, we'll get to that. First of all great locations, 1 min walk to ubahn/sbahn with good connections, and a great lil shop in the station that's open late, has beers, pastries, snacks, cigs classic wee shop. Close to Potsdammer Platz, so good for getting the train. Hostel is simple entry, and clear reception area, with 24 hour service. They have a bar/eating area, which is 24 hour service as well I believe. Can get drinks or coffees any time, and comfy seats with plugs for charging and a nice view. There's also a wee garden area for smoking/outdoor seating. We stayed in a double room, had table closet, bedside table and a nice big window with thick curtains for good sleeping. Was pretty clean, a lil dusty and I didn't like the Feng Shui so I moved it around a bit but slept better after that. Shared Bathrooms were pretty clean, bit wet later on in the night, but there was a sqeedgy to sort out the sploosh. There was only once instance where it was full and I had to wait to shower. Once in 5 days is pretty decent. Very helpful and friendly staff, cheap rental of towels. Good information. There were a couple school trips/large groups of younger people at the weekend, but even then they weren't too loud or ridiculous. 100% would stay here again. Highly recommend. Loves it. XxxX

The elevator is cramped, creaky, and frankly a little terrifying, and the laneway the hostel is in is poorly lit (albeit with a nice church in it). If you can get past these two details, the hostel is incredible value for money - good comfy and quiet rooms in a very central location. Pretty nice views too, and I was lucky enough to have cute little birds playing at my window each morning.

Reasonably priced hostel in an inner courtyard so, it's relatively quiet here which is good for sleeping. Five floors with big dining room/space for chatting/eating/playing games downstairs. Despite 15h check-in, we were allowed to check-in much earlier since the room was available which was very handy. All you can eat breakfast available for 12€. Would definitely stay again.

A really nice hostel for young adults. The building is located somewhere where it's both easy to find and not on a main road, what i personally find quite good. Moreover, it's not far from main station and you can easily use public transport there. But unfortunately in the exact area of the hostel there are no really interesting things. I loved the staff, although they weren't too friendly. It was like a "mate" treatment. The main hall (continue) and reception were absolutely gorgeous, i liked the atmosphere and decorations there. The other rooms were not special, just like in any other hostel i guess. Wi-fi was also okay. I was in Three Little Pigs Hostel with my friend and we slept in a mixed room for 8 people. It was all full. Some people are kinda friendly there and maybe will try to make friends with you, but if you show that you're not interested, they won't insist. At least it was in our case. As i said in the first sentence, this hostel is ideal for young adults. For active young adults. Everyone from our room came down to the main hall in evening/at night and had fun there, drinking and playing games. So if you're interested in new acquaintances and want to make friends, then this place is for you. Even if in your room people are not too friendly and just want to relax in their own beds, you can always meet somebody new in the hall while drinking on the bar, which has a pretty nice design. However, you also need to consider that if you take a room for lots of people, humans, who will drink in the evenings, will go really late at night. For me it was okay, i almost didn't hear anything, but for somebody it can be a problem.

The positive: - clean and relatively empty. You barely meet people on the corridors. - well located - spacious hall and free water :) The negative: - the Ruhezeit/quiet hours after 10pm is a joke! It was pretty loud during the night. - two sockets per room only! - kitchen?! No kitchen. And it’s something important in hostels in my point of view. At least microwaves… nothing. - the 8€ breakfast: do a favor to yourself and go have a decent breakfast somewhere else…

Had a bit of a difficult situation with a flat mate & staff Another girl already explained the situation- but just adding to that: it is definitely normal in a hostel that someone may be louder at night or turn lights on and off. However in this situation it was the response that was uncomfortable for everyone- body language and the tone was quite aggressive (and four people felt uncomfortable due to that) however the staff doesn’t seem to take seriously if girls/women feel uncomfortable with someone. They said we might be lying , since there are no cameras in the rooms. It was also asked why we didn’t book a female dorm..(that shouldn’t be the only place for women to feel comfortable in a hostel) so that makes it seem, if something worse were to happen- the response from the staff would not be very helpful. (We recognize that the situation we had was minor, but if something worse happens- it is important to take it seriously when someone feels uncomfortable about a situation) That’s why I personally would not recommend this hostel to women traveling alone.

A friend and I booked a room in this Hostel last minute for one night because we couldn't find any hotel rooms available in Berlin. A Hostel was not really our first choice, we took it just because we had very little choice. After spending the night there, we were surprised how nice the place is, certainly exceeded our expectations. Rooms are very clean, location is perfect very close to Potsdamer Platz. Staff is very friendly and professional. Our stay was very short but I will definitely comeback to this place again in the future. Also, you get to meet some really cool people there. Totally recommended!

Loud and teeming with life. If you enjoy co-mingling with fellow travelers of all ages and have little need for privacy, this is a bright and affordable option. I love the expansive lobby open at all hours. Grateful for the cold filtered water, a nice touch. Everyone was kind, staff and guests alike.

Came to Berlin for a concert at the Tempodrom and couldn’t have chosen a better location! All staff I interacted with was so friendly, price point was great, rooms were clean and I felt like these were the best hostel showers I’ve used along my travels thus far!! Also free locker storage for before/after checkout is always a huge score in my book

Vice you have to look for the towel, it costs 1.50 and free coffee is not available at the reception, you also have to pay if you are a coffee fan, forget about this hotel, they will never leave a thermos bottle at the reception for their customers to drink, you have to pay, not even hot water, nothing. available has a coffee machine but it's also damaged.

Toilet is a bit far from dorm room. Reception always without people. The public locker is without door, like an open type of shelf with a chain, not sure what kind of concept is that. Overall is ok. Booking directly with their website will be slightly cheaper.

The staff was very nice. The room was clean. You can rent towels and hairdryers so do not need to carry them. Only thing was in the night it was a little cold while sleeping. So bring sweeters for the night.

This hostel does not care about its guests. The customer service was horrible all around. During my stay- I saw one person try to check in and tell the management that their room had no clean/ available beds- to which management replied: oh yeah that happens sometimes. Then proceeded to tell the girl that she needed to find out which bed was hers herself and then wait hours for it to be cleaned. My friend also came to check in and showed her confirmation emails and everything- to which she was then bullied and ridiculed by the staff telling her they do not care about her emails she does not have a reservation in their system and since they are overbooked they cannot offer her anything. So she needed to find a new place to stay late at night at the busiest weekend in Berlin and she was not even offered an apology. Only bullying. Since my friend could not stay I asked for a refund so I could go to another place and stay with her. They told me they would address my problem the next day and let me know what could be done. When I asked them to give me an answer the same day since I do not want to book another place and have to pay for both places they firmly responded that they did not understand why I was upset since they told me they would deal with my problem the next day through email. Do I even need to say that I never received a reply to my email or any other form or communication from them??????

    - Most of the receptionists were EXTREMELY rude. The security guards were nice and civil but like stated the staff working inside the building are completely unprofessional. - The rooms weren’t completely clean upon arrival but nothing to get to worked up about (some dust/bugs here and there/). Not very spacey so it gets suffocating quickly. - The toilets/showers were filthy (at all times). Most rooms don’t seem to dispose of a toilet/shower in the room so you have to take all of your things to walk to shared showers and they’re always busy. Not a lot of space in there either. - The elevator reeks of urine and beer. So does the “smoking lounge”. And the stairs are dirty. - Towels/Soap/Slippers NOT included!! Bring some plastic slippers for the showers ‼️‼️ - People shouting in the floors/lobby. - Thin walls; you can hear your neighbor’s next door from you room. On the other side: - Wifi is not bad. - Location is practical. - You can get drinks & snacks at the bar 24/7.

It may be the best hostel you can stay in Berlin. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had very good conversations about where to visit in the city and what to try. All of them speak very good English, and you should have no problem with that :,) The hostel itself is a very old building and it adds a nostalgic feel, but this is also a disadvantage. Unfortunately, the elevators were not working when I went. I can say that the rooms and toilets are generally clean. Also, the location is incredible, it is very easy to reach everywhere. Unbelievable to find this quality at this price.

I had a great stay at 3 little pigs! I booked a single room and I loved it, with a nice view, very quiet and clean. The location is amazing as you can go walking to the center in a few minutes and have some restaurants options nearby too.

Excellent hostel! Stayed in a mixed 6 bed room with 3 other people, ended up making friends with the other 2 guests =) Hostel felt SAFE! I have to say, the cleanliness was outstanding in this place, from the room to the bathroom to the showers. Hostel is located in a prime location and on a quiet street. Nearby are some shops and ubers were accessible as well. Showers had shampoo and body wash. Reception was open 24/7 and there was a water cooler as well. In the rooms there are cabinets to store your luggage, just be sure to bring your own padlock. Didn't get to try the breakfast but it smelled heavenly! Elevator was a bit slow and very small but I like taking the stairs so I didn't mind! Would definitely recommend and would stay again! 5 stars!

I was good staying at this hostel. Rooms are clean, my roommates were really nice. So I enjoyed it a lot, come here later. And there is an option for breakfast about 9 euro for eat all table. I didn't try it, but looked good.

me and my best friend had an amazing stay here during a quick 4 day trip to berlin! the staff were lovely, rooms, showers and toilets were all perfectly clean! the beds were comfy and there was lots of storage to keep our things- our roommates were also wonderful! there's lots to do in the main area downstairs also! there was a fair few school groups, so if you're looking for a pleasant, but somewhat more quiet stay in berlin i couldn't recommend this place enough!

I had a great experience at this hostel. Clean, comfortable, and safe. The bathrooms are outside of the rooms so waking up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom is a nuisance but everything else was excellent. Staff was nice with the exception of a male who worked at the front desk during the night shift. He was rude and arrogant.

We had a very pleasant stay here. Great location in Berlin, the building is very nice with a great architecture. The staff is welcoming, friendly and professional. Thank you again ! We took a double room with ensuite bathroom, which was clean and spacious, with a queen size bed.

I travelled alone for the first time to a hostel. I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived here but immediately you are greater with the vibrant atmosphere of the main hall where the bar and reception is. It seemed immediately friendly and I don’t think I left the hostel that evening. I wouldn’t say it’s a party place but it’s certainly lively. I was there for NYE and it was a great vibe. I stayed for an extra 2 days. I have just arrived at a hostel in Budapest and it’s very quiet. Nice if you’re looking for that or in a group but hard to meet new people. I’d highly recommend Three Little Pigs. I’d say the highlight of my stay was the hostel. Oh and by the way the bar is 24 hours!!!!

Looking for an affordable stay in the city center of Berlin? Come here. Remember, it's a hostel. Respect others, try not to be loud, and understand the community sense of the place. The breakfast buffet needed more fruits, but we understood that it was not the season to ask for it. If you want privacy, reserve a private room. Don't expect other guests to arrive the time you want or not to come late at night. It's Berlin! The service is friendly and helpful.

A decent Hostel, conveniently located in the heart of Berlin. It is a textbook hostel: small, sparsely furnished rooms, a nice common room with games and a good selection of beers, optional breakfast, the works. Prices are perfectly reasonable. The four stars are given for the services provided: the beds were clean as were the bathrooms. The room came with an electric fan because of the heat. Reception is open 24/7 and the staff are kind and helpful. Drawbacks are: the room only had 2 electrical sockets. Which is very little if you’re staying with two people and also need the fan to cool you down. It also doesn’t allow for the bedside lamp to work if you want to charge your phones. The room itself wasn’t really clean. The beds and sink were, but the floor was a bit grimy. Nevertheless, a good experience and definitely worth the money.

Pros: Quite clean, spacious room, nice bathroom, comfortable beds, decent location. Cons: We didn't have soap for 3 days even though we asked the receptionist for some, no fridge, no microwave (literally no common kitchen), no shoehorn, only a few terribly placed sockets, Google Maps shows the wrong location even though you can literally just edit it yourself (we received an email warning us about the location after we already checked in). The price was super high but that's probably on Berlin.

My room was nice, clean, spacious and simple. It did smell very weird so I had to keep my windows open. It was quite noisey every night until late. I think this hostel is better for big groups of teenagers who come to hang out and party. Maybe less for solo travelers like me. Overall it's an okay hostel, it's pretty big, and the staff is nice. Really nice cafe and supermarket right next to it.

Hostel was very hard to find. Walked around in blocks before finding it, if you are staying here look up what the buildings look like on the outside for references finding it. It was a good hostel on the inside, friendly staff, clean beds but it felt like a weird old school with creepy hallways. Would stay again though!

Staff was okey and they were understanding. We stayed at shared rooms. Room was quiet, but it was not clean. Hotel was not clean in general, for beds they did not change the sheets and only supply the pillow and blanket sheets. Under the bed and table, there were garbages and toilets were dirty too. They require additional money for everything, including towels.

Great location, very close to the U-bahn station. Also very nice showers. However, the rooms were supposed to be cleaned/emptied every day, which did not happen and left us with a lot of trash. The curtains could also be a bit less translucent and since we were sleeping on the 5th (top) floor, it was extremely hot during these summer times and we were not offered an electric fan, while the 3rd floor received multiple fans. Also a small tip for the hostel: it was very easy to lose your white key card in the room, because every surface was white. On a positive note, the common room was very nicely decorated and the bar offers lots of drinks, which was nice. Can you unlock the secret basement?

We had booked 2 beds in this hostel through the website aubergesdejeunesse.com and we had received our confirmation, but when we arrived, they said that it was not valid because the reservation made on that website don't appear in their system of reservations. They had no beds left and they told us to go to another hostel. We complained and said it was not our fault, but their answer was "it is not our fault neither". So we looked for another hostel, but all were overbooked or far away, so we asked them for help. They told us about another hostel which was nearby, and as it was our only option, we went there. The second hostel was so disgusting: dirty, old, with a weird vibe... Three Little Pigs didn't provide us with any compensation or apogy.

Best Hostel so far in Berlin ! Stayed there for 5 nights with 12 of my friends, the staff was super helpful and accommodating. Place is clean, shower are more than decent and the main room downstairs is quite chill and nice to spend time with people. Rooms are away enough from the main room to be super quiet and cosy. For that price, I definitely recommend :) Danke Guys

Had a very nice experience staying here. The staff is nice and helping, the atmosphere is interesting and warm with many things to do inside the hostel. Everything is clean, there’s I breakfast (can’t say much about it tho, I didn’t try it). Very well located with an easy access to everything you need, many shops and bars around. Thanks a lot! The best backpacker hostel that I have ever stayed in Berlin. Staff are very friendly and helpful, created very welcoming atmosphere as soon as I stepped in to the lobby. Where do I start from. This hostel is amazing. It’s beautiful especially to those who appreciate art and DIY decors. It’s very artistic. My stay was amazing. The staff members were warm and friendly. The hostel was so neat and clean but the corridor didn’t spell superb. Also, a kitchen feature should be considered because I think that would have crowned everything up. But in all it is an amazing hostel. They care for your recreation as well hence they have some games in the lobby. BOOK IT AND TAHNK ME LATER 😉

The rooms smell and are stuffy and cold. Everything feels old and gross. The worst part is the staff. Very unfriendly and unhelpful. They didn't care one bit that my flight got cancelled from covid and wasn't willing to offer any refunds for the nights I'd miss. Better off somewhere else.

Such a nice hostel! 10/10, the receptionist was so outgoing, we already checked in in the morning and the rooms are so nice and clean. We were a group of 16 people and they gave us 2 8-bed dorms specifically by our request. The whole hostel and specifically the main hall was very pretty. We left our bags after our check out and in general the whole experience was smooth. The location is perfect!

I had a short trip to Berlin. The location is absolutely lively! The hostel is very well connected to the public transportation. The reception is 24h open and the staff are always very supportive and friendly. The female dorm I was in was very clean and the bedsheets were perfect. The washrooms were in an acceptable condition. The breakfast has a wide range of items. If you arrive before the check-in time, they offer free of charge lockers -unlike many hostels- for your luggage so that you can already start your tour in Berlin. The accommodation was in general very comfy. Absolutely recommended for groups and for short trips.

Cozy and spacious hostel almost in a heart of Berlin. Stayed there frm 24.06 to 25.06 The hall is huge and filled with board games, tables and heartwarming bar. When I checked in, almost in the middle of a night, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist. My experience in Berlin was almost awful but this hostel gave me some sort of relief

There's only one washing machine and one dryer for the whole entire building. I didn't want to wait anymore and asked if it was possible for a refund, but the staff said their system didn't allow such transactions to be refunded. I thought this was a bit odd and proceeded to spend 3 hours just to do laundry - waiting for people to finish their laundry, waiting for them to come back and take their laundry (if they even came back to take them) and waiting for the machines to wash and dry. Really think they should invest in more laundry machines, or if you're a traveller I'd recommend doing laundry somewhere else if you really need to. It was nice that they put the bedding in for you but the washrooms and showers were a bit unclean.

Brilliant place to stay. I think it used to be a convent or abbey. Close to the centre of Berlin (acceptable walking distance). Stayed in a private. Was very hot weather wise so was glad of the oscillating cooling fan. Very clean. This isn't a complaint, just a nuisance... The place was like a maze. It was a long winding route to get to my room every time I returned to the hostel, but on the flipside it only took 30 seconds to get out! Big social area with a bar, pool tables and small and large social seating. Liked the massive frame aeroplane hanging from the ceiling. I did not avail of the continental style breakfast arrangement.

Its a nice cozy place to stay, rooms are clean, WC and seperate bath. Staffs are so cool. I must give 150/100 to the lobby. Awesome atmosphere to spend time with friends. It has Fußball, pool. You can hire a bicycle from the pkace. Also check those discount cardS on so many tourists attractions' ticket, you will find it on the lobby. The place also serve breakfast. The place is attached with a beautiful church. The Anhalter Bahnhof is only 4 min from the place. You will find Edeka and Aldi on the entrance left and right. The closest tourists attractions is Checkpoint Charlie.

A great hostel overall. The dining hall is huge and encourages meeting people. This hostel is absolutely huge though and easy to get lost in. The rooms feel very clinical and you have to walk pretty far to the bathrooms. But really, I remember my time here fondly. Pretty close to mass transit stops. Walkable to downtown.

Wonderful place to stay in during vacation in Berlin. Affordable prices, nice service, comfortable and warm rooms, is located close to the center of Berlin. It also must be noted that the hotel looks great inside. Highly recommend :)
