It was easily the worst coffee I’ve had in my entire life. The staffs were rude and unfriendly. I ordered flat white but it was just watery and tasted disgusting. I didn’t finish the cup, left after the first sip. I can confidently say that this cafe doesn’t even deserve a single star after what they served me. I’d rather go to Starbucks even for double the price. The biggest disappointment on my Berlin trip.

(Translated by Google) The café has a lot of potential upwards, except for the prices. Actually, it's a shame, because the location would have a lot to offer if at least the service was right. No toilets, drinks in a paper cup, no sugar in the coffee service ...! In Corona times too, more can be expected. A visit is not worth it.

An excellent cup of coffee. I went with the filter option as it’s always my favorite. The taste was excellent and quite sweet, if that’s your thing. Nice staff and fast service. The bread looked really good as well, and I’m a little bummed I didn’t try one. Just means I need to come again.

Amazing space to chill and have a decent cup of coffee, however there’s no open wifi. Moreover, one barista made unnecessary comment about me choosing to go with paper cup instead of ceramic cup, with all my due respect it is my own choice how to take my coffee specially during the coronavirus pandemic :)

Bonaza is voted the best cafe and coffee roaster in Germany last year and definitely worth the visit! The coffee was so good with strong fruity flavour with rich aftertaste! The pastries were good to have as well! They have various store across Berlin and all of them offering the best coffee!

(Translated by Google) A cup of filter coffee € 3.80 A green tea (but with refill): € 4.40 The menu is very small, there is no matcha latte or classic Americano. The food selection was also very limited to mostly puff pastry products on display. The chairs were so incredibly uncomfortable that I didn't even open the laptop because it was clear that we would be leaving as soon as possible. According to the employee, there is a toilet, but you have to walk around the outside of the building ... we didn't visit it again. Bonanza again? Never, there are enough alternatives with a wider range, fairer prices and more comfortable chairs :) (As you can see in the photo, you couldn't even expect a completely clean coffee cup (BTW without handle) for the price) (Original) Eine Tasse Filterkaffee 3,80€ Ein grüner Tee (allerdings mit Refill): 4,40€ Die Karte ist sehr klein, Matcha Latte und klassischen Americano gibt es nicht.

The service and the tables outside are great! Filter coffee is too watery for my taste. May be because it is prepared with a big Moccamaster. Piccolo coffee was very ashy and hard to drink

Sometimes you think "where do I start" and you need an impetus! Sometimes it's a close friend, sometimes a film, a book and sometimes a place! Because I believe in the spirit of places! I believe in the smell of the places, the energy of everything that is served, because sometimes a coffee is not just a coffee. Thank you very much for making my day special. It was very good for me to meet a place like you on my first visit to Berlin 🌿💛

This place is really suitable to have a coffee and chat with friend but not to work, they don’t have wifi and environment is not convenient for working. However the coffee here is soo good!!! Especially ice cappuccino definitely needs to be tried. They also don’t have a microwave, oven or toaster so you need to eat sandwiches, which actually are supposed to be eaten hot, cold.🙈

This place was hard to find, but this was absolutely worth it. I had one of the best cappuccino with oat milk there. The prices are kinda expensive, but affordable. You can seat here, there are sockets to charge your devices as well. They also have snacks like croissants and cakes.

(Translated by Google) The coffee tastes excellent (in our case ICED FLAT WHITE WITH OAT MILK) all of it in industrial style here in the typical Kreuzberg commercial buildings. You can have a great coffee here with children without the risk of hearing a street coming straight on. And this idyll right behind is the children's farm with goose noises and a view of one of the last Kreuzeberg weighing castles. To the other reviews I can only say who is not in the mood for a hipster location with the Berlin hipster coffee prices or who likes cups without handles (the coffee costs at all cafes in Berlin with this quality ... The Barn, Röststätter, Kaffee Kirsche, Coffeeroom Berlin just as much) that should just go to one of the loving Kreuzberg bakery shops is also tasty but different ...

The location is beautiful! But the prices (3.80 EUR for a cappuccino) and the service ("No, we cannot serve your expresso with a glass of hot water. Why? Well, because this is not the way it is meant to be.") are disappointing.

(Translated by Google) The coffee is a little outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The inner courtyard, surrounded by old, beautiful clinker brick houses, where the outside area of the coffee house is located, has a clear view of containers and a large construction site. The coffee does not have a toilet facility. The coffee is served in paper cups, which unfortunately are not consistently cleared. One counts for the cappuccino € 3.90 and the espresso € 2.90, which I think is completely exaggerated. The café tasted good, everything else was a flop.

I must say on Google maps this place seemed bigger. In reality there are not a lot of tables here and most of them where occupied when I came. Anyway the coffee was good and the barista was friendly. And the music was amazing! I also liked the location, it’s very atmospheric.

Was really looking forward to this place, but I was left disappointed. The music is extremely loud, the coffee was surprisingly unimpressive, and they don't have WiFi. I don't think I'll be going back any time soon.

Amazing location. I used to go there for the wifi and coffee. The coffee is still good, but they recently stopped offering WiFi It's OK to not offer WiFi. What isn't OK is the following: Every time a customer asked for the WiFi password, when the customer turned around to walk away, I saw the two employees (a man and a woman in this case) visibly annoyed at having to answer the same question over and over. On two or three occasions, I also saw them making fun of the customer's surprise that no wifi was available. It was probably a returning customer who was just confused about the change. Either put up a sign saying that you no longer offer WiFi, or train your staff to deal with repeat questions politely.

Beautiful spot and great coffee! The building itself is modern and bright with nice plant life. Really enjoy the filter tasting. Good spot to work or sit outside on the deck chairs in the courtyard when it's sunny. They are very considerate of the corona regulations. The tables are spaced out, the staff are always wearing masks, and there is disinfectant and clear signage. They have space to sit outdoors too.

I had heard this place was good for working on your laptop but, although the space seems to be designed for that (more industrial than cosy), they refuse to give you access to either of the 2 wi fi connections. Sadly I also had a pretty bad experience with the waitress being rude when I asked about it. Don't recommend.

I used to love to come there to work as I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and their work station inside until they decided to remove their wifi access! The entire interior and atmosphere is aimed at freelancer coffee enthusiasts and not designed for a cosy afternoon coffee chat.

Don’t hesitate, go there and enjoy! The espresso is so rich in flavor with extra fruitiness from the non-washed beans. The color is deep. The liquid is thick and creamy. I’ve never tasted this pure quality. I’ve tasted the cappuccino with vegan pea milk foam. Amazing!! The waiting line might be long. If it is so, don’t be discouraged. Just line up, chill and relax. By the way, you can buy the beans.

Great coffee, really cozy place but if you have to work/study a bit, there is no wifi there (2021?). Also when I came, baristas have messed up and were going around for 5 mins trying to match coffee and people, who have ordered something. Unfortunately, not that successfully.

Great pastries is the worst thing you can say to a serious barista. And the baristas in this place are as serious as a circumcision doctor. This place packs them in to a room as hip as tomorrow, and pretty comfy. Everything is in place for coffee temple worship. Sadly, the coffee "double shot" is a new york double shot...ristretto perhaps? Anyway, there's not enough punch here to blow out a birthday candle, and the palate that is there is thin and wide. Not awful, but not up to the hype. 3 pastries and 2 coffees €19.50 is steep. Pity, the pastries are awesome!

The coffee was good, unfortunately that's where good ended. The overpriced pastry we bought had a weird chunk of a mass of something in its centre that wasn't only weird in texture, but also tasted like herring that had gone bad, so disgusting I couldn't bring myself to swallowing it. My friend thought I was overreacting and had a bite, but also didn't know how fast to grab a napkin to free her taste buds of the attack. Conclusion: they have pricey coffee that's good, but steer clear of food.

I think this beautiful place should sharpen its profile. Its 1. Too big and too understaffed to create a specialty house atmosphere. 2. Too specialty oriented for a date cafe (coffee too sour, too expensive, too long wait, ...) 3. Too culinary for a work, study, read space (no wifi, no power-plugs, ...) I really enjoyed the filter tasting - great idea, delicious cups, wonderful selection, nicely curated! The service however was awkward. I had to waddle from my place to the bar and back for every coffee, some lack luster presentation of the coffee and back to the table.... Either they go down the specialty route (more staff, comfier seating, more info, more events) etc. or the copenhagen coffee labs route: more conventional tastes, a working area, more food, more streamlimed. Lastly: guys if you sell 100€/kg espresso: make sure the batches were roasted recently and not a couple of months prior. Give more info, tell a story - explain who this is for.

Bonanza Coffee Roasters epitomizes Berlin's coffee scene with its meticulous approach to roasting and brewing. Out of all the coffee places I’ve been to in Berlin, the Bonanza Coffee Roasters not only served the best coffee, but was also the most unique place ! Located at the back of a quiet courtyard, this spot is perfect to have a coffee with friends, read a book quietly or do some work. The staff were very friendly and gave us great advice on what to drink. An amazing experience !

I didn’t even taste my coffee yet so this rating won’t be about the coffee taste. Bonanza charges a tremendous price for their coffee, let customers consume their products in-house but refuse to let them use their toilette at the same time. The, for me, stupid excuse was “corona” without an exception. Horrendous service.

Beautiful café, hidden away in a courtyard in kberg. They roast their coffee very lightly, so if that's your thing, check it out. I would personally recommend their iced filter coffee for those warm summer days. A light, lemon-like taste that doesn't overwhelm or even whelm much, but is most certainly enjoyable!

They used to be laptop friendly and they still have a dedicated table with outlets, but they do not have free WiFi anymore. I do not recommend going there on weekdays, you will lose quite a lot of time.

Great cappucino for 3.6 Euros. They make very taste coffee. It is nice space inside and outside and not crowded. They have tables and workspace if you need to work on your computer. For tasty coffee in Berlin visit this nice and calm place

The coffee was interesting, the place kinda cool and the people working there were helpful but it's also kind of.. Soulless? Lots of people (me included, kinda hypocritical I know) working on their laptops. Go there if you need some work done but also want a decent cuppa.

A hipsters dream. Very dedicated coffee roasters and makers. Everything is roasted in-house. Unfortunately just not my taste. Coffee has this modern "fruity" taste. I prefer classical Italian "industry" espresso.

The coffee is really good and tasty. There is only one kind of plant-based milk, chickpea. It gave a very interesting sweet taste to my coffee. The staff is helpful and friendly. I totally recommend trying it!

I had a takeaway from this place and haven’t spent some time inside but even if their coffee is tasty and quiet popular it doesn’t deserve that money. It is really expensive and it is not hard to fine same quality of coffee with a fair price in Berlin.

Whether you are a tourist or a freelancer you are not welcome here, as they don't have WiFi even on working days. They sell good beans and make delicious coffee, but they seem to want you to leave as soon as you finish your cup. I would not recommend you going there unless it's a weekend morning.

(Translated by Google) The back yard where the roastery is located is very nice and quiet. Since the coffee is so highly praised, the bar is set very high and the coffee definitely tastes good, but not great. It is definitely worth a visit and I have no problem with the fact that the waitress speaks English. However, because of the very high prices, there are definitely better roasters in Berlin. Nevertheless, a trip to Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and the coffee shop is worthwhile.

It is a pity that I have to give this place a rating of two because it is in a cute location, tucked away and peaceful. A perfect, aesthetically pleasing environment to work in. The pastries are also so yummy! Unfortunately there was a barista (glasses, hat & spanish accent) that works there who was disgustingly rude and spoke to me like I was a piece of trash (in front of the entire coffee shop). This was 3 weeks ago, finally getting a chance to post my review! Hopefully the owners do something about that, it was the only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth. The other man working with him was so polite and attentive!!

This was recommended by my barrista daughter, in the vain hope of me understanding proper coffee. It is quite out of the way so I guess you have to be pretty dedicated to visit! I had pea milk latte which was actually delicious and almost no residue in the cup after I’d finished. Pleasant staff and a nice interior so a good learning experience

A really lovely cafe. Everything about it was fantastic - the ambience is nice, the staff are incredibly friendly and lastly, the coffee is delicious. There's also a nice selection of beans to buy which they can grind for you if you dont have your own grinder.

  • 4/5 Dzmitry Y. 1 year ago on Google
Enjoyed our coffees here, a flat white and a filter one. The place doesn’t offer much of desserts/snacks/foods with just a few cookies available. Definitely not the most coziest of the cafes, and a busy one too. The staff are nice and helpful.

  • 4/5 Coen den H. 1 year ago on Google
This place is a little harder to find. So keep a close eye on Google and look for the sign on top of the fence. The road sits next to a petting zoo. Then you come to a courtyard where the entrance to the roostery is located. The business is in fact a coffee business, but also the roastery of the coffee brand. The case looks very nice inside. It has a sleek design with lots of wood and steel. There are some plants in the store and a number of displays where products are sold. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is nice and knowledgeable about the product (especially the barista). As soon as the coffee is ready, it will be brought to your table (even if you are sitting outside). The coffee tastes good. A lot of energy has been put into the product. It is, however, a bit on the expensive side. It is not cheap to order a cappuccino or croissant. Finally, of course, the music. This was fine for this place. Twice while waiting to place an order I was about to run the number through Shazam. That says enough. They were chill obscure house beats. All in all, nice place to see and definitely good coffee. A bit on the expensive side but well worth it if you like coffee.

A chic place, hidden from pedestrians and cars. Quite and charming. Fancy on the inside, they offer speciality coffees with cute art latte. During the summer, they have a nice selection of iced coffees. Important to mention that they also provide lactose free milk, or soy etc.

I’ve been to different coffee shops and this one is pretty special. Their coffee comes from different places and it’s pretty good done. Their brewing it’s pretty special and really good made. It’s a nice different place to hang out.

Delicious coffee and ambiance at the cafe! Met lots of dogs and had the perfect iced latte for a hot Berlin day…also saw a very cool building around the corner near the animal enclosure!

  • 5/5 Ayşe Nazlı S. 1 year ago on Google
Really liking the atmosphere. Interior design is really simplistic and nice, outside area is also very sweet. Coffee is amazing btw. Had a flat white this morning and enjoyed it so much! Not many variety of food but enough for a serene morning!

  • 4/5 Vana M. 1 year ago on Google
Specialty coffee of really good quality. Quick service. The place closes at 6pm. Inside it is not cosy, but I like the people and the vibe. It is also quiet and outside you get a feeling of escaping which is quite the paradox since you are very much in the city.

  • 4/5 Nhi Tuyet V. 1 year ago on Google
Cozy and quiet place in a roaster coffee shop where you can smell the coffee beans while enjoying their coffee with modern and interesting concept. Unfortunately they didn’t have public wifi for customer as I found some reviews on Internet that here’s laptop-friendly but the quality is still okay with the prices and service.

  • 5/5 Andre 1 year ago on Google
Just perfect. One of the best specialty coffees I ever had on a V60! The coffee was from Equador (as per their suggestion and since I asked for a fruity coffe) and it had already a very nice smell with a balanced taste. The espresso was also very nice. The location itself is in a very charming alley, and the ambience is very comfortable and modern. It is a GREAT place for good coffee at anytime.

  • 3/5 Zain S. 1 year ago on Google
I ordered a cappuccino. It had hardly any milk foam as you can see in the picture. A cappuccino should be three equal parts espresso, steamed milk and foam. A latte is two parts steamed milk to one part espresso. I felt like I was drinking latte, not a cappuccino. Having said that, had I ordered a latte, I’d be more than satisfied but I ordered a cappuccino. I ordered a chocolate croissant pastry with my coffee and it was a delight. Beautiful light layers and very high quality chocolate bits inside. Get yourself this pastry it’s totally worth it.

For an Aussie coffee/indoor plant lover in Berlin, this is a must visit. Love love love what they did with the warehouse space they got. Chill, relaxing vibes and a great selection of coffee to boot. The almond croissants were also to die for. It's not a high foot traffic area so becomes a little of a destination venue but totally worth it.

  • 3/5 Jelena 11 months ago on Google
The space is absolutely incredible! High ceilings and lots of plants feels very refreshing! But it is really overcrowded inside, and the tables are super close to each other so that you barely can walk between them. Also the service was not any good. We came for filtered coffee, and they didn’t propose any beans options to choose from

  • 5/5 Kyle H. 1 year ago on Google
We stopped in here for coffee and a pastry and they delivered on both! The filter coffee was great and came in a very cute presentation/set up. I got about 2 small mugs out of the coffee pot. The almond croissant was equally delicious!

  • 2/5 Natalie 5 months ago on Google
4.40 for cappuccino (charged extra for oat milk CRINGE in Berlin🫠) served burning hot. When we asked to remake the lava in a to go cup – got an average lukewarm milk. Bonanza used to be unnecessarily good coffee shop, now gives more unnecessarily expensive vibes with average coffee. Nice atmosphere at roastery though🙃

  • 5/5 Ala H. 5 months ago on Google

Pain au chocolate was delicious. We got the hot chocolate. It looked amazing with the big marshmallow served on the side. However, it was so bitter. There was very little sweetness and we couldn't even finish it. I really would not recommend it.
