Card only. Friendly team. They speak English. I spent here an hour and people come for their coffee to go and coffee to here. There are tables for laptops (with sockets), but laptops are welcomed here on business days only (not during the weekend). I love that they give you a big bottle of water, not everyone does it. My favorite here is a Basque Cheesecake. Super creamy, no crust. I’ve just bought +1 piece to go :) The toilet is clean and smells nice :)

Nice little "cafeteria" styled place: a couple of tables on the inside, even a inside porch overlooking the bar. We stopped there for a hot drink in the afternoon: got myself a cup of Espresso (long), reading on the internet that coffee is very good in here, and it didn't disappoint ? the place also got a good selection of cakes everyday. So I opted for an orange cake with poppy seeds: very very tasty! Ideal place for a break and a snack.

I expected this coffee to be so good from all the good reviews but it's a definite miss for me. I didn't like the coffee there at all, unfortunately! The Cafe looks beautiful tho and has a nice vibe with friendly staff. I wouldn't come back and can't recommend this one...

Really good and friendly service. Drinks were also amazing and the waiter really knew which drinks to recommend in each case. For me food was good but I would say for 15€ maybe it needs to be twisted to make it a bit less simple.

What a wonderful place! Since I visited first time it has been a must to go place for me to have breakfast. Very simple place, cozy, friendly staff, awesome food and Coffee. Located in a very popular street and location in Berlin. Totally recommended.

Hands down, this was one of the best brunch expiriences I had ever. The chefs must be wizards. Their Reuben Sandwich is from another dimension. The poached eggs were amazing! On spot. Service was super friendly! And the price for this culinary experience is even more than affordable. Coffee was excellent as well but try the food. Seriously. My mouth came in my mouth.

We ordered the special toast of the day and it was super fresh and very tasty. I liked how the chef played with the flavors ingredient (pinch of lemon, great herbs and divine mix of cheese with mushrooms). The ice latte was very good too - they have few dairy free alternatives milks. Only small thing was that we came during a very hot day and I wish they would have pull down the blinds.

While the breakfast portion was on the smaller side and didn't quite fill me up, it was undeniably tasty. The coffee is delicious, and you can also purchase coffee beans here. I've tried the coffee beans, and they are of excellent quality.

French toast was absolutely delicious! One of the highlights of our cold wintery holiday in Berlin. Service was really attentive and good too. Hope to come back to 19grams in future!

Very unfriendly staff. It was rather rude. Was given a table outdoor next to a construction site. Wanted to rather wait for a table inside, however was kicked out of the restaurant and was told not to be picky. Definition of service & hospitality? Shocking experience. Maybe he should be less high behind his coffee bar and take more care about the needs of his customers. Terrible experience, speechless and that in a city like Berlin. Shame on 19grams for not having your staff trained well!

First, the good points: coffee, food and place are awesome. HOWEVER: The staff - esp one guy- is super unfriendly. Several times, when I asked for something, he didn't reply and just walked away. Leaving me questioning if he received my order. Generally he seems constantly annoyed by any request and in constant stress - even if there were no other costumers. I've been here now quite a few times and always enjoyed the chilled atmosphere but everytime this guy is around, it ruins my visit.

We went there for an evening coffee and it was so great! Here the flat whites we ordered. They also have a very nice menu for brunch, remember to reserve for your seat (not just this one, but every good cafes in busy hours!) Really love the balanced favour of this coffee and how they source their unique coffee and ingredients!

Nice café with good coffee. Service and food are a bit of a mixed bag. The menu is short, but varied enough. Eggs Benedict are delicious and very good, sticking closely to the original but adding a slight twist with the bread (toasted slice of a wholemeal, seedy loaf). “Granola” is more of a lightly toasted muesli with a few nuts, than a proper baked, crunchy granola. Flavour is very good, but it just misses the spot a little by being rather a dry dish without any fresh fruits, or at least a berry coulis. Coffee is very good and comes with a smooth roast from Tres Cabezas. Service is a bit slow and not very welcoming. Not unfriendly, but you just feel a bit lost coming into a café without anyone greeting you or managing the guests that look for guidance with a table or how to order.

Our most favorite brunch place in the neighborhood! Menu changes often enough, good options for every diet or taste, coffee is good, service is very friendly and international but the price is a bit high for the amount but that comes with the hipster flair and quality. The main problem is that they are often fully booked for brunch so I recommend to make a reservation or check on Google Maps when they are very busy.

Quite good cafe I waited for a short while before seated. It was around noon so it was quite busy. Almost full in cafe actually. I had latte macchiato and a cinnamon roll there. Coffee was pretty nice. It tasted fresh without too heavy milk taste. I like it because sometime I could taste the fat from the milk and it’s not my cup of tea. The cinnamon roll is a little bit dry unfortunately. Personally I prefer more moisture texture. Surprisingly it’s not too sweet but on the other hand the balanced sugar could bring more taste of the cinnamon. However, I heard they are famous for croissant instead of cinnamon roll. I didn’t see croissant when I was there and it probably explained why. The service was pretty OK. They speak English and ask if you are happy with your meal. They serve in a pretty OK speed if you only order a pastry and a cup of coffee. I’d love to try croissant next time!

We came a few years ago and I remember the eggs Benedict being really good, but OH MAN my memory did not do them justice! They were SO good, and my partner felt the same way about the french toast. The food here is wonderful, the staff hard working and the atmosphere charming and lively. They do have "rushes" when things can get busy but even if you need to wait a bit it's worth it!

Had breakfast with cappuccino (good) and Brioche Benedict eggs with bacon and Brioche Benedict eggs with smoked salmon. Food was tasty but small details showed a lack of cure (overcooked bacon and a piece of egg shell in the Benedict). Furthermore the salmon was (my taste) not super quality. A bit of a disappointment. Service was ok. Price (>25 p.p.) overpriced considering the quality. Atmosphere and furniture very nice.

Visited here a couple of times over summer with my friends. The breakfast/brunch food is such great quality and very rich with flavour! The staff are very warm and forthcoming, it’s a great spot for English speakers! Dirty Chia latte out of this world :) We loved the almond croissant- best I’ve ever tasted - they use real almond butter and it’s not too sweet; such a great balance of sweet and savoury. Brunch we had the brioche eggs Benedict and the brioche French toast, both very delicious.

Had already been to another 19grams location for their coffee, which I loved. We showed up for the Saturday Brunch hour, but we were sat immediately. They made a mistake with my order, and were super apologetic. I didn’t mind as I had a mimosa to keep me company. The French toast was really excellent, and as always the coffee was excellent.

Just moved to this area and we have this very cute restaurant close by. They have very good food at a fair price! It also have a great vibe with friendly waiters and part of the Berlin startup scene. I would really recommend it for a brunch in the city! 😊

Leave it to the pros: I was on my way to the hospital and by bike. As they were out of lids, I though I would be able to manage two cups of coffee with a cardboard holder and a paper bag. (Spoiler: I wouldn't have) Luckily the barista said it would probably make a mess and jerry rigged some cling film onto the cups. First bump in the road would've been the end for my coffee... Thx :)

Extraordinary “sandwiches”, that are pretty good food choice for your breakfast. I liked the interior and peaceful atmosphere there as well. I think it’s the only place, where torn sofa looked harmonious. Enjoy;)

Light and bright interior with a few tables outside. My latte was delicious - best coffee I had during our weekend in Berlin. We also really enjoyed the sourdough banana bread, the flapjack, and the blondie. Small menu, but lots of cakes and goodies on offer. Coffee beans available for purchase. Friendly staff and everyone spoke English.

I love coming to 19grams in the morning for a delicious dose of caffeine (done fantastically well) and a slice of their orange or lemon pound loaf. Service is fantastic, ambience is amazing, coffees have been consistently perfect. Would definitely visit here again when I'm in Berlin.

It’s one of my favorite cafes in Berlin. They are serving excellent coffee and a delicious breakfast. They have a lovely interior and friendly staff. You can purchase a variety of their coffee beans as well. Though their coffee beans are a bit pricy but tasty :)

Definitely recommend Came in to check it out as heard a lot about their coffee and was surprised to find rating below 4.5 Batch brew coffee is good with a fruity note to it i love Had tomato tost - explosion of freshness. Very nice balanced combination. Poached egg can be added as an option, but isn't presented as a whole thing unfortunately. Service is very friendly There is a nice sitting area outside, yet not so nice right now because of construction works.

If you are a party of more than two, it is most of the time really depending on your luck if you get a table here - very much en vogue, this place. However, I personally tend to find the dishes a wee to extravagant on the combination of different tastes. Still, they are always prepared with a lot of care and really beautifully presented. Up to you to try… More importantly: the coffee is always delicious, and that’s the first thing you look for in a café, right?!

Lovely place. Lovely people. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely brunch. Nestled in a corner of Berlin, this place prides itself on its coffee and it shows; delicious, fresh-roasted blends, selected from the best sources. You won't want to stop at just the one. The food is excellent, flavourful, well-balanced, with fresh produce. I had the waffles, which left me pleasantly tingling and full, thanks to the fluffiness of the waffles, the crunchiness of the chickpeas, and the flavor of the chutney and herbs. That didn't stop me from trying my friends' food. The roasted aubergine is incredible, with a deep, smokey flavour, complimented by a vinaigrette and other roasted vegetables. The sardines (and I'm not usually a fan of fish) are wonderful, with a delicate taste that draws you in, complimented by capers, red cabbage, and poached eggs. But if we're talking of eggs, the Benedict eggs are a real star, in a peppercorn hollandaise and on a magnificent parmentier. Beyond the food, the place is visually appealing, with a pleasant industrial decor, very comfortable music and atmosphere, and the staff are incredible helpful. If you're in Berlin, do treat yourself to breakfast here.

Found this spot randomly for breakfast. Decent coffee and a hearty breakfast. Had the Benedict with braised beef which was very filling. My only complaint would be service speed. Had to wait quite a while to be served. But the wait was worth it

Amazing coffee, food and friendly staff. If I could change anything is the music volume that was too loud for my personal taste. But regardless is one of the best coffees I’ve had in Berlin.

Really disappointed in our visit after seeing high reviews. The service was very slow and when we did get it, the staff weren’t cheery at all. We arrived there at least an hour before our breakfast got served. We arrived around 11am and almost all pastries were gone which was maybe our own fault for arriving late. The eggs Benedict came and it was very disappointing. Basically a slice of brioche and a huge clump of soggy spinach with some overcooked bacon (and salmon) on the side. Eggs were over cooked as well. Oh and incase you get the eggs Benedict - anything ‘optional’ on the side is €3-4 extra. It’s not stated very clearly. Sadly won’t be back and would not recommend. Positives- we got the last cinnamon roll and that was tasty. Coffee wasn’t too bad either

  • 5/5 Susana R. 8 months ago on Google
We arrived there at 11:00 and got their one of their two last tables available - there was a third one reserved. The service went pretty quick for us, but the table next to us who ordered at the same time as us had to wait until we were about done with our meal. The food was so good though. Everything looked great so it was hard to choose. I went with the French toast with bacon and it was amazing. Although it was pricey - we paid 40€ total for two people getting 2 French toast and 2 cappuccinos, I would gladly go back there because of the food, and the coffee too, was super smooth and not bitter at all.

Rude behaviour! We went in on a Saturday, this was not the first time as we live in the same street as 19grams. However the staff was outright rude and said if you are not meeting anyone then there is no place to sit. While a guest herself said " hey we are done, you can take our table". The staff couldn't be bothered, so we thanked the lady and left. Post lockdown phase we like to support local businesses, but I will never go to 19 grams again.

I was just kicked out of the cafe because I brought my laptop with me, as I wanted to check some emails while having breakfast & coffee there (Crazy idea, I know!). After having sat down at a small table for two and having ordered a cappucino i was looking at the menu, and a different waiter came over and told me it is their policy not to allow any laptops to be used in the cafe on the weekend as I might stay too long... so i was asked to leave. Unbelievable, but unfortunately nothing out of the ordinary in Berlin, even after the corona crisis supposedly threatens the f&b scene here.

They ask to pay by card, but don't accept common credit cards. Paying cash is not accepted as an alternative, even if cash money is still statutory means of payments and mandatory to accept. So I was not able to pay either by card (what I prefer) nor by cash. Unacceptable.

(Translated by Google) Card payment: yes Reservation: Unknown Discovered the cafe in my area. It appears to be somewhat modern, hipster-like for people with McBook and money in a bag for an overpriced coffee with biscuit. At peak times it was sometimes the case that you only saw people and laptops. It's hard to get a seat there. On the one hand, a good sign, not mandatory for me. But the cafe is really good. The choice of food is great. I tried different bowls and breakfast options. Everything perfect. The coffee - and I make a lot of that - was also good. The service was always friendly in my time. I suspect mostly students. But at rush hour (before Corona) the hell was going on, which meant that there were certainly a few stressful moments for the waitress. Equipment modernized industrial look. Sofa corner, smaller upper floor with old wooden wall and windows give you the feeling of sitting on a veranda. Great facility. Even dogs were welcome here and greeted with a bowl of water. (Original) Kartenzahlung: Ja Reservierung: Unbekannt Das Cafe in meiner Gegend entdeckt. Tolle Einrichtung.
