A v interesting Arabic (Tunisian) coffee shop located inside Hackeschen Höfe / Rosenhöfe ✨ They don't serve sugar and serve hand brewed coffee without milk. The pastries and sweets are truly special. The interior design is unique and authentic. 👏

My favourite cafe in Berlin! They offered high quality coffee with fruity blend, which was really tasty with the long-lasting aftertaste. We ordered Flat White this time. Absolutely love it with the great balance! The coffee was perfectttt! Also loved the cafe in this little complex! It is a very comfy environment to enjoy this AWESOME coffee!

One of my favorite coffee places in Berlin. Flat white is close to perfection. The croissant based sandwiches are delicious. Staff is amazing, super professional. This summer we tried the iced flatwhite, and i was blown away. Highly recommended. Note: there is no bathroom option at this place.

Very nice hipster coffee shop with a middle eastern flavor. I loved their coffee (had oat milk latte). I was quite disappointed they had no gluten free options, my friend loved his sweet vegan dessert.

A lovely cafe that I came across completely by chance while wandering around the city. As far as I understand, the owners are from Tunis and this is definitely evident starting from the interior and exterior design, the special pastries that are served and especially.... the coffee itself which was simply wonderful!👌 Without a doubt, they managed to create an excellent combination between West and East here and without a doubt this is a great place to hang out with a cup of very good coffee during a trip to the city. Try the Yemeni coffee, it's wonderful!👍👍👍😎

Amazing baklava cheesecake paired perfectly with a rose jasmine tea. We ordered a second cheesecake immediately after finishing the first!

(Translated by Google) Much wanted and yet not able ... Espresso was very acidic and we had to choke it down without sugar (because of the philosophy in this café ?). The chai latte was delicious.

The coffee is great and served in a very beautiful way. The only issue I found was that they suggested we tip them, although it's already expensive and it's self-service.

Mein erster Besuch hier in Ben Rahim.

I had an iced decaf latte with oat and the baklawa cheese cake. Coffee was nice but not exceptional and quite expensive. I paid €13 for the cake and coffee. You can get way better coffee in Berlin for that price. I did like the mediterranean interior. It gave a nice vibe. But the service is ‘self service’ which is not very mediterranean. I feel like if you pay this kind of price for your coffee, you should get some service at the table too. It was a nice place but I dont think i’d return once more.

One of my favorite coffee places of all Berlin. Artisanal coffee specialties without the „hip“ attitude many shops have. Great team and just magnificent coffee hidden in between Hackesche Höfe making it a cozy and low traffic spot to enjoy peace and the favorite black (plus some snacks!). Would give 10 stars if more were available ;)

I ordered cappuccino with oat milk. It’s good but not special, it’s a bit hyped (4.5 euro). And the dessert i ordered was baklava. It was good but 3.5 euro is too pricy because it didn’t have intense flavor and the crispy crust was not very traditional. It’s normal crust similar to the dough in supermarket with sugar. Overall still great for the good ambience of the shop. Good for hanging out with friends.

That was a very cute café, a little hidden in hackescher Höf. It’s originally from tunisia and they make very delicious coffee. The atmosphere was really nice and they have also seat outside which is very confti in summer and spring! The problem was just they dont offer many options for snacks or baked stuffs. But you can enjoy the atmosphere and your coffee You can have a little bottle of water for free besides your coffee!

I liked much the place and the fact that is in an open yard of the buildings. It has good quality coffee and options from Africa that you find difficult but i think the prices are too much. The special coffees have 8-10€ just one espresso and the baklava cheesecake, just one very small portion has 6€. It's good to go but a little expensive i think. 4 stars because of the prices.

Great pastries and breads. Yummy breakfast croissant sandwiches. Espresso is well pulled and they do pourovers!

  • 4/5 Sam S. 4 months ago on Google • 84 reviews
Went there for the reviews and was glad to find that it matched my experience. One of the best coffees I had. The flavor and texture were excellent, just perfect and it hit the spot. The desserts were also delicious! We had the baklava cheesecake and the namura and they were perfect. I managed to snap a few shots before they vanished :) I didn’t like how tight it was in the shop though, but I’m looking forward to going back again, especially in summer. One last thing, I just felt that their specialty coffees were overpriced, especially the one from Yemen (we didn’t have that btw). I mean I can understand that it ls one of the best in the world but 20€ is a little too much for a drink.

Small cozy cafe, I got a hot rose latte. Good mild floral taste but a little too ginger-y for me. Also tried the flat white — good and with strong flavorful coffee. A bit expensive.

It's a convenient location and they could be a good choice - but they are not. The coffee is good they have a medium light single origin but the service is consistently bad. The staff has no knowledge about coffee. If you try to understand the tasting notes, you will be out of luck - feeling ashamed you even asked in the first place

I ordered a caffè latte and my friend had a handbrew, and we were both super happy. With its slightly dark flavour and smoked fragrance, I think it was one of the best caffè lattes I have had throughout my trips around Europe, and my friend thought the handbrew was equally good. Mind you, the latte cost 6 euros while the handbrew 9 euros for half a liter. It was on the pricy side, but we both thought it was worth the money. I posted the last book cover recommendation picture half as a joke, half as a compliment and expected to get the cold shoulder from the shop. Surprisingly, even before we stepped out of the shop, their official account not only liked the picture but also shared it in their Instagram story. All in all, Ben Rahim strikes me as a place with good coffee and a sense of humour.

This coffee house in Berlin is my absolute favorite. The late with oat milk is unparalleled, the coffee is expertly crafted, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the oriental design of the place adds to its overall beauty.

A very unique place for speciality coffee in Berlin! This cafe is hidden in the Hackesche Höfe and serves a good variety of drinks with a Middle Eastern touch. The coffee is blended very well and tastes outstandingly good. I tried a classic cappuccino, the rose latte and the chai latte. All of them were beautifully made and delicious. The pricing is a bit high but worth the overall experience you’ll get!

It can get busy but in quieter periods it’s the perfect spot to unwind and contemplate. Quite work friendly too. Coffee is rich and flavourful with very friendly staff to advise on choice.

  • 3/5 Diana A. 1 year ago on Google
I have mixed feelings about the place, I enjoyed the taste of my espresso (3€) a lot, it was perfect, but I didn’t enjoy the huge cup it was served in. Basbusa (3€) was pretty tasty, but also a bit too sweet by the end of the bite… also prices are really too high. Filter coffee for 6€? Im curious how it tastes…Seats are not very comfortable. There are a lot of people. I doubt I will come again. Tbh you can get much cheaper coffee the same or better quality somewhere else around . And Arab sweets in Neukölln ✌🏽

  • 5/5 Lana S. 4 years ago on Google
Enjoyed this hidden gem. Yes, the place has attitude, but if you don't like to be commanded no sugar or no milk in handbrewed coffee, there's enough other places to go. Coffee is amazing, pastries were fresh a delicious as well. Chill ambience, a lot of extremely fresh beans to buy.

With the start of my berlin life, this cafe also opened. was much smaller store than now but it has grown up so quickly and It is totally understandable. always good coffee and mood :) one thing I currently feel sad is, the chef is not always there, I really miss his coffee! 🥲

  • 4/5 Kristy 10 months ago on Google
Fantastic location and friendly staff. Price of coffee is more expensive than the city’s average. We tried the chamia croissant- the halva and ricotta were a great flavor combo, but the filling was too generous. Pastry itself was just average.

  • 4/5 Vicky P. 1 year ago on Google
Truly amazing coffee, one of the best I've ever tried. The little place is also very beautifully decorated and draws an interesting crowd. The one thing keeping me from giving the place a 5-star review is the fact that it lacks a toilet, which can hinder one from totally relaxing there without any worries.

  • 5/5 Philip 1 year ago on Google
This is my favorite specialty coffee shop in the area. Nicely located in a cozy and calm spot in the backyard. Friendly staff. Great coffee. What I like most about the place, they have certain rules: 1. They offer no sugar to ensure the best quality beverages. 2. For filter coffee they offer no milk. 3. They take no cash. 4. They don’t take tips. Instead their coffee is at a price point, which ensures fair payment for the coffee farmers and all production steps. I love that place. Great example for how a coffee house should be.

I had never had ibrik coffee before, so even though it was (much) more expensive than my usual coffee order, I was excited to try it and enjoyed it a lot. Next time I would definitely go for a flat white, which would have cost roughly the same as what other 3rd wave coffee shops charge

  • 3/5 Frederik T. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful location, ok coffee. To be honest I expected so much more, but flat white and cappuccino were way too cold and almost no microfoam (a bit like just adding plain milk to the coffee, instead of something creamy)

Well I didn't have much time because my flight was soon in the morning. So unfortunately i didn't have time to drink there. I read about this coffee shop in a blog about ''visit Berlin'' and I wasn't disappointed. Really tasty 😋 coffee. The staff was really kind and help me find a coffee that corresponded with my taste.

Nestled within Hackesch Hofe along with the other bespoke stores you wil find this small coffee shop. It is a cosy intimate place with a lot of attention and creativity both for the selection of croissants and sweets, as for the coffee and interior. The coffee is nice but slightly overpriced. The portion of espresso chocolate can be bigger given its price.

Cute little courtyard cafe. The cappuccino was really good.9/10 One of the espresso (€3,50) way too sour 5/10. But the barista seems confident in what they are doing. The big umbrella outside was broken and couldn't really open all the way. Toilets are in the basement and almost clean. 7/10

Tried the rose latte and was delicious. Using dried rose petals for rose flavor was unique, making the coffee smell great. They also have a few vegan desserts and they were also delicious. Maybe a little too sweet but very tasty.

  • 5/5 Lucía Zamora P. 4 months ago on Google
Small but really good specialty coffee shop. I find it a bit expensive for my budget (a cappuccino is 4 euros, a hot chocolate mocca is 6 euros and a chocolate chip cookie is 3,7 euros) but the location of the coffee shop and the quality of the coffee are great. If it is in your budget, I'd definitely recommend it for a quick afternoon coffee pause.

Had the ibrik coffee. Appreciated the crash course in how to drink it (you have to wait 4-5 minutes for it to cool). Taste was nutty and strong, but smoother than espresso. It came with a date that was easily one of the most delicious dates I’ve eaten. Appreciated it was open on Sunday. Not too much seating but spot inside the Hackesher Hof is lovely all the same.
