Went there on a weekday evening when the place was closed around 6:30 pm. Still was able to take a walk around the green fields and relax a bit under the trees. Great place to spend some time in nature. Also good if you want to take your kids for some animal watching when it’s open

It's a nice oasis of rural life in the city and 5***** for kids! In general, it's a little light on food and beverage opportunities, and there's not really much seating. It's a farm :-)

A nice farm in the middle of Berlin, feeling like you visit a vilage. And we can see a lot of animals there (cows, lambs, ducks, chicken horses). We can see how farmer take care the vegetables there, it's interesting place to visit with family. It's free to visit the farm but you have to pay to get into museum.

A nice farm with a market, good for a walk for adults when the weather is nice. Blue and clear sky, feel the nature. Kids would like there, cute animals, riding horses, and some amusements.

I fell in love with this place. The entrance is free. It’s peaceful spot in the middle of the city . You can watch the animals, read your book. There is a museum and other attractions. Great to educate your kids about agriculture. I’ll come back for sure!

We went there on a weekend evening. Ticket was around 3.50 euro to each due to some bazar/sale going on. We collected a dozen of potatoes from the fields, it was a great experience with kids. Nice countryside walkways and some farm animals too. Overall wonderful experience. Will go again for sure

Beautiful, very large area to roam and spot different animals - horses, chicken, cows! Nice „rural“ experience for big city children :) Dogs are allowed on a leash.

A wonderful farm without leaving Berlin, with animals, vegetables, an orchard and also a hands-on museum with lots of activities for kids (and adults!) to learn: how to make thread with wool, how to knit a flower crown, how to paint ceramics, how to sort grains, harvest your own seasonal vegetables and feed the farm animals. They have lots of festivals and activities during the year, in which case, there’s a small entrance fee for adults. On other days, the entrance fee is lower and follows the honor system (a machine gives you a ticket at the door). There’s a restaurant as well as lots of areas for a picnic. A wonderful place to spend a whole afternoon! My 3 and 5 year olds loved harvesting potatoes and then roasting them in an open fire in the field! Walking distance from two U3 Bahn stations: Dahlem Dorf (back entrance, closer to the field and animals) or Podbielskiallee (main entrance, closer to the museum and restaurant). We will be back many times.

I come to this infamous city farm with my family once a year for the must-see Christmas market. I can't vouch for the place during other times of the year but generally this place is rustic and authentic. The weather always tends to be cold and wet in the run-up to Christmas, but that adds to the atmosphere (and there are fewer people around). In my experience, if you're there at 11 am, you'll enjoy a relaxing time, organic fare and live musical interludes. It's a small place, has a carousel for kids and an indoor restaurant (which is relatively new). There's also a tiny museum which usually offers some crafts for kids during the Christmas market, a horse stable (with horses) and a ton of food and drink stalls.

You can normally walk through the farm and museum grounds for free. It's a decent and quaint atmosphere with a cafe, seating, and short trails. The Domäne Dahlem held a Fall festival last weekend, which required a ticket/entry fee. It was quite busy and still nice, although the museums and exhibitions each cost an additional entry charge of a few Euro. It's a nice little farm in Berlin - I recommend.

We went for a summer festival there, they had nice little stands and an amazing music and clown program - so for kids highly recommended!

Went on a warm summer evening, very peaceful athmosphere. A very beautiful and special place considering you're still pretty much inside the hustle and bustle of the city.

This used to be a great place to bring kids, but they seem to have abandoned the animal stalls and there are virtually no non-humans to visit anymore.

Superb place to visit if you're in the surrounding. Unbeliveable but super nice farm inside Berlin and there's so much to see and stroll around. Farmgrounds are a different vibe.

We took our Son here yesterday ! A must try experience that immerses you into farming world and a very peaceful atmosphere of nature. There is a big food court with many options for food lovely - all bio of course and based of veggs and meat that is grown there jn the farm. A kids playing area and theatre show with music and animation - so you have an enjoyable time as a family . Recommended plan for a fun weekend!

Very poor atmosphere , you pay for nothing at this place, does not worth a dime to go. Hot wine was cheap and tasteless , more like a small espresso to go.

The place is nice to walk around. There's a nice path through the fields with growing vegetables and animals. Feels like outside of the city. The food offer could be better.
