Nice little museum. Go there, take your time ×/- 1 hour. Be sure that your visit will support a private museum. This place doesn't get any support by the government. It's really interesting lots of things to discover. If you're interested in history of war in general, put it on your trip list. Worth seeing it.

Greetings from Greece! The sculpture in front of the museum:

I went to see the museum yesterday and I am really thankful I did! The museum is small but full of objects from all over the world. We went to the basement and it really gets you chills down your spine, it's really impressive! The entry is free but you can leave a offer. All the descriptions of the items are both in German and in English so everyone can get something! The museum is small but really worth a visit if you're in Berlin!

When in Berlin, make the time to stop here. Could have spent hours here, but got a great amount of info within the 1.5 hours I was here. Loved talking to our host, as he spoke english, knew a LOT of history, and had an answer for every question. Some cool artifacts and authentic pieces. Small, and private, so there is no government support. The employees are volunteers. Make sure to bring some cash to donate!

None, but an important museum on the history of the peace movement. Unfortunately, the actual exhibition only includes a few exhibits and is therefore very text-heavy, but the air raid shelter provides didactic variety.

An important museum that all school classes should be taken to at least once. Run by highly committed volunteers and with in-depth knowledge of not only the wars that Germany has committed. The forerunner of today's museum already existed in the 20's. Here everyone can learn something about the cruelty of war.

I visited this museum on Museum Night. It's relatively small, but you can still see a lot and it feels very familiar. The exhibition is extremely diverse: from a film about the history of the museum itself to the bomb shelter in the basement to a gallery of artists that changes from time to time. You can see finds from the world wars as well as exhibitions on current topics. So there's something for everyone! :) I have recommended it to my friends and family and will definitely go here again.

A very informative and entertaining tour. Not only recommended for private visits, but also for school classes. Mr. Spree is an inspiring person and we are grateful for the experiences he shares with the public.

I wish there were more museums like this one; it's bittersweet but it's definitely worth the visit. I loved it.

I don't know any enemies - neither on this side nor on the other side of the border! I only know people, said Ernst Friedrich, and in this spirit you can look at exhibits, pictures and a video lecture in the Anti-War Museum for free. There is also an air raid shelter. Toilet is also available. Three rooms on the floor are largely barrier-free, and the basement is accessible via a narrow staircase. Suitable for all interested people. The broken rifle as a symbol of peace is available for money, as are specialist books.

Interesting museum with a deep message of pacifism. Florian welcomed me and told me the history of the museum. I recommend it for anyone looking for an unconventional and different Berlin. Thank you Ignacio Olguín B.

Hidden treasure! Museum with almost 100 years history with unique collection. Thanks to Falko, who is volunteering as a guide, we had a great experience there. Another interesting part of museum is Piece Art gallery.

Visited this small, suburban, museum on a weeknight about 5pm. Spent about 90 minutes there reading and viewing information relating to the founding of the museum (in 1925), and the various anti-war, and then anti-Nazi, groups in Germany. Also information on war bombing and bomb shelters with a 1940s shelter in the basement. The main exhibition room of the museum has translations into English for all the panels, which threw lots of light on the very real anti-war and anti-Nazi movement in Germany through the 1930s and 40s. Well worth a visit.

It was a very nice experience. I also met Tommy Spree, who gave us tour around the museum and we also watched a small documentary on how the museum actually came into being.

One of the best places to touch the history this closely in Berlin. Meaningful and enlightening, definitely must be visited and the owner is so kind, so friendly

A small museum that is being run mostly by a group of history teachers, a very interesting place to visit, I had a very long and informative talk with grandson of the museum founder, if you're LUCKY hell be there when you visit

We went to the museum on August 15th 2023, and it was a really great experience. The museum aims to be a place of discussions and exchanges, and it does it well ! I had a great conversation with our guide. I recommend you to go there, and to support the volunteers who make the life of this place.
