Entry is free, so feel free to stop by. The copies of the famous role models are presented in varying quality. The cast collection is certainly a great enrichment for students' study purposes and anyone who does not have the opportunity to travel to the original locations can get a good picture of them here. However, I prefer the originals a lot because my emotions were limited with the replicas.

One of my favorite little museums in Berlin, stuffed with replicas of all the famous sculptures of the Graeco-Roman culture. It allows you to get a complete overview over the development of this fascinating and most influential period of art. Free entry, only the opening hours are too short.

I always think it's great here. It's a bit crowded since there are so many pieces. But if you don't have the opportunity to see the originals in different cities, it's a great alternative. Plus entry is free. So you have nothing to lose ;)

No crowds ... A place of sublime calm and dignity. Not far from Charlottenburg Castle, between museums and old trees ... 2,000 plaster casts of ancient sculptures from the period between 3,000 BC and 500 AD await you. The old masters show their art ... the whole range of the history of the sculptures. Greek and Roman sculptures in original size form the focus of the exhibition. Some exhibits of the art of the Arab and North African area of that time complete the collection. ... even Nefertiti was faithfully reproduced in all colors. A collection of the Free University of Berlin ... Reopening in 1988.. after the 1695 founded Berliner Abguss-Sammlung was largely destroyed during the Second World War.

Definitely worth seeing and visiting, both for laypeople and those interested in ancient art history. It's rare to have the opportunity to see so many outstanding antique sculptures in one place, free of charge and without crowds.

As an art history and archeology student, I have been here several times. I like the atmosphere here. The monumental sculptures look completely different when you stand right in front of them.

(Translated by Google) Good explanations that make everything very clear and of course nice casts of stills and heads. (Original) Gute Erklärungen, die alles sehr anschaulich machen und natürlich schöne Abgüsse von Standbildern und Köpfen.
