I'm from Wien. Vienna is half the size of Berlin and has 23 (!) districts. And therefore also 23 district museums. Made with love, but mostly old-fashioned. I visited this museum with these expectations - and was disappointed. Really great. Interesting and attractively designed, without any technical bells and whistles. One of the many examples that there is a lot to discover in Berlin (even) outside the center!

(Translated by Google) I also count this place among Berlin's little peculiarities. In general, the whole old town of Marzahn is really unique. As small as it is, I think you could think of being in the country here.. Generell die ganze Alt-Stadt Marzahn is echt einzigartig.

(Translated by Google) History made tangible. Cool place in the middle of skyscrapers from an ancient village called Alt-Mahrzan - surrounded My tip, go there soon. From Nordbahnhof uff the tram M8 swing and be amazed what Berlin has to offer. For the meat fraction, butcher Genz jegeniba the church with snack bar, always has a Berlin joke in store, totally authentic Only sipping coffee is ok and nobody bothers you. Janz Bärlin jeefeldeeeet. (Original) Geschichte anfassbar gemacht.

The current exhibition with the theme “Streets, Houses, People” with lots of information about Kaulsdorf, Mahlsdorf and Biesdorf is very interesting. Documents and photos are used to show how certain streets in the districts have changed over time. Really worth seeing...

An interesting, educational exhibition about the district over the centuries, great information boards and exhibits. Highly recommended, I learned a lot of new things. The exhibition of lithographs by Emil Stumpp was also interesting. So go there, open Monday to Friday.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful little museum of local history, which is always distinguished by new and varied exhibitions as well as lectures. A beautiful location and information about the history around the partly still quite young Marzahn-Hellersdorf (Original) Ein schönes kleines Heimatmuseum, das sich mit immer wieder neuen und abwechslungsreichen Ausstellung so wie Vorträgen hervortut.

(Translated by Google) The small but fine local history museum is not only recommended for the local clientele of interested historians of Marzahn. A wide range of exhibits and explanations of local history, lovingly and thematically well prepared, both in permanent and temporary, time-limited exhibitions, certainly allows a connection to contemporary history and Berlin's north-east. The location in the historical core of this district, in the village of Marzahn, makes the museum particularly attractive.
