Spießer werden sich allerdings auf dem Gelände direkt an der Spree nicht wohlfühlen. Denn der Mellowpark ist unaufgeräumt und chaotisch. Die Kids lieben ihn.

Super geiler Platz für Skater und BMX Fahrer. Es gibt hier eine professionelle Bmx Rennstrecke, auf der aber strenge Regeln gelten, es darf nicht jeder drauf. Ich war hier mit meinem Sohn, er ist 4 1/2 und er hatte stundenlang Spaß auf den Parcours. Für kleine Tochter (2j) gabs hier nichts. Er musste aber erstmal ein bißchen Angst überwinden, da hier auch Erwachsene Männer mitfahren und natürlich auch sehr aggressiv gefahren wird. Er war an dem Tag der kleinste dort und hatte manchmal Momente der Verzweiflung. Ich würde mir wünschen Zeitfenster mit bestimmter Altersbegrenzung zu haben. Es würde schon1-2 Std 1 mal pro Woche oder Monat reichen, damit sich interessierte Kleinkinder in Ruhe herantasten können. Aber andererseits hat es auch so gut funktioniert nur mit ein Bißchen Stress, was vielleicht auch nicht so verkehrt ist und eher förderlich für die schnelle Adaptation ist. Das Kind war am Ende super zufrieden.

Wir kennen den Park jetzt seit 2016 und haben dort immer eine tolle, entspannte und chillige Atmosphäre vorgefunden. Das Angebot für alle Rider, egal o BMX, Skateboard o. wie bei meinem Sohn Scooter ist riesig. Dank der engagierten Leute vom Mellow, sind die Leute ohne Aggressivität und mit Rücksicht zusammen auf den oft vollen Bahnen unterwegs. Die Jungs und Mädels vom Pavillon sind immer gut drauf und das den ganzen Tag über. Man kann nur hoffen, dass dieses wichtige Freizeitgelände für die junge Leute in dieser explodierenden Stadt, trotz dem sonst hier dominierenden kommerziellen Interessen erhalten bleibt.
