Ein kurzer Aufenthalt an der Turnstraße in Berlin brachte einen hohen Genuss an Essen mit sich. Ich habe bei Humbaba einen Shawarma Makali Teller bestellt und wurde sehr überrascht. Toll angerichtet und mit leckeren Zutaten versehen hat alles insgesamt sehr gut geschmeckt. Dazu eine Sesam-Chili-Sauce und Pita-Brot: Perfekt. Diesen Tipp gaben mir Gäste, die ich gefragt habe, was denn der Unterschied zum normalen Schawarma Teller sei. Gut das ich gefragt habe. Die Atmosphäre ist ebenfalls passend zum kleinen Laden. Ein paar begehrte Sitzgelegenheiten gibt es, sonst nichts. Und tolle Musik, tolle Gäste aus Deutschland und die Welt. Tolle Arbeit Jungs, weiter so 👍

In der Mittagszeit muss man hier lange auf sein Essen warten. Die Schlange geht meistens bis nach draußen, hinter dem Tresen geben die drei Jungs ihr Bestes, es dauert trotzdem. Das Warten aber lohnt es sich, denn die Falafel sind frisch, Salate auch, Musik meistens laut, HipHop auf Arabisch. Man kann zu den Gerichten noch verschiedene extra Soßen haben - von Mango bis Knoblauch. Passt auch gut.

Absolutely best falafel and Shawarma plates and wraps! Incredibly helpful servers to explain the dishes! Don’t miss the dips. They’re all delicious! Also great value for money - 2 people can easily share one plate.

The small one(Pita) itself is enough for a person who doesn't eat much. It will fill your stomach if you are someone who eats less usually. Taste is usually good. The halloumi one was very salty, so better try to avoid that. The staff is friendly and try to speak English to expats

Super leckeres Essen zu absolut fairen Preisen! Ein wenig Zeit zum Warten mitbringen. Im Sommer mit Tischen & Bänken auf dem Bürgersteig. Der kleine Tiergarten ist aber auch um die Ecke. Sonst eben Take Away.

This shawarma was very GOOD! The main ingredient was chicken and it was delicious. The seasoning was very nice. They offer different sauces, I tried the hummus. The vegetables weren't the best, they looked a bit dry but I may say, it was too warm that day. The place is small, they do not have bathrooms and they only have 3 tables outside. There is always a lot of people there eating. Regarding the drinking, they don't have many options but it is ok.

Essen kam nach einer halben Stunde an komplett kalt und die Portion die angekommen ist einfach überteuert für die Qualität ,dass es nicht schmeckt . Ich kenne den Laden seit mehreren Jahren und muss sagen die Qualität hat nachgelassen.

The service is friendly and quick. The food is tasty, especially considering the prices. They offer some seating outside. Very vegan friendly. Good choice if you’re hungry and want a quick bite!

sehr freundlich und zugewandt obwohl es voll ist essen sehr schmackhaft- felafel ein tick zu trocken und zuviel kreuzkümmel drin hummus zu wenig würzig, könnte mehr knoblauch dran. und das brot sollte aufgebacken werden weiter so! ich komme bestimmt wieder

Amazing falafel with many vegan sauces and fresh ingredients, the service is fast and the guys are kind. My favourite in Berlin, sometime I do almost 40 minutes of metro just to eat it :)

Amazing falafel place! Everything is fresh and tastes incredible, especially the sauces - I highly recommended getting all of them, except of course spicy if you don’t like/want it. The staff is always super friendly and fast, even when the line is out the door. Overall, one of the best if not the best falafel places in my opinion.

Had the falafel in pita with peanut and spicy sauce: wow! Super tasty and the guys are very friendly. My friend meant to order shawarma but ordered the same as me and when he went to pay it was too late to change the order, but they gave him a little bit of shawarma meat on the side for free.

I like the food and the ambiance, but the guy with long hair needs to learn how to talk respectfully with a customer, not with a rude tone, horseplay, pretending to throw the bread, and treating the customers as if he's doing them a favor. Maybe the guy was just trying to be funny, but he needs to realize what's considered funny in his homeland may offend customers.

Always a good choice to have quick and pocket-friendly lunch. Shawarma dishes are delicious, whether you have it by itself, or with Makali or Halloumi.

Ordered Falafel Tannour. Price was affordable at 5,90€ They prepared it with love. Different to ordering Dürüm this bread tasted much better and they baked it after wrapping it. Only that they did not have very comfortable seats inside the restaurant. The music however positively contributed to the ambiente.

Quick, affordable, and - most importantly - yummy falafel! If I had to be critical I'd say the falafel could use more herbs but overall the flavour was balanced. The sauces are good too.

Taste has always been good but recently the servings have become very small. Today had takeaway, and my wife’s shawarma haloumi barely had any chicken in it, and our son’s shawarma was served with the wrong sauce (peanut instead of sesame) which caused him to have an allergic reaction because we only noticed after he ate some.

The food tastes good, though it's more calories that it looks like, so be carefull when you choose the portion size. Not many seating places, so better dont count on that on lunch rush hours. Perfect for business lunches when you don't have much time and have to eat strong

Best shawarma and falafel in Berlin! 5 different vegan sauces. Only outside sitting unfortunately. But the park next to it is perfect to sit down too.

Usually a good place to have gemuse kebab with peanut sauce. But sometimes the people preparing it do not listen properly. You tell sauce x and they put sauce y.

We ordered falafel pita and halumi pita - both really tasty, cheap and fast. The perfect set to take out. Guys were friendly and professional. Honestly recommend!

Me and my wife came by here today to grab some quick food in the evening. We tried the Falafel Halloumi and the Shawarma Halloumi. Both were so so gooood!!! This was our first time and had a great experience. The people were nice, and also gave everyone waiting in line a freshly prepared falafel ball for free :)

Very friendly personal working at this falafel place. He gave us falafel too taste, and it was good! The food is well prepared and the place is easily to reach via ubahn or bus. So i would recommend going here for falafel when you are in the neighborhood.

Me and my friends bought 4 falafel pitas. In one of them the falafel was missing altogether and it was just vegetables and in another one we found something very hard inside. In addition, in all of them there were ingredients that we didn't select and they told us that the sauces weren't spicy but in fact they were (in particular the mango one). Lastly, they don't speak English at all and it was really hard to communicate. Overall a very bad experience.

I was poisoned by halumi makali there at Wednesday. And it's super strange, cos amount of people always in q for food there. But it's happen. Unfortunately I can't recommend you this place.

Super leckere Falafel und veganen Soßen :) Diesen Laden kennen wir schon sehr lange, waren aber schon länger nicht mehr da. Wir wollten mal wieder alles durch die Bank durch probieren und haben die Jungs gefragt, ob wir nicht einen großen Teller für zwei bekommen können und wir haben einen rießigen Teller mit Makali, Falafel und bestimmt einen ganzen Hallumi bekommen einen weiteren extra Teller mit Hummus und Babaganush und einem großen Soßenteller. alles war sehr lecker. Wir sind mehr als satt geworden,nämlich auch glücklich ;) <3 Ich kann nur empfehlen dort hin zu gehen. Danke für das Essen.
