The experience was great, but there are thing that require a bit improvement. First, the consept is that you pay about 20 euros to get inside and 3 drinks are included. The first one can be anything, like long drinks and cocktails and beers, and the the next two can be beers or shots. You need to drink the first beer in a "regular" bar and wait to get inside the ice bar (we waited about 30 minutes). The next two drinks you drink in the frozen bar. I didn't really get the idea and it wasn't very fun to wait for the bar we came for. The frozen bar is really cool, about -12 degrees c., but it's pretty small and there's only two seats inside so you're probably going to stand. You drink the drinks fast and get out in about 20 minutes. The beer is only half a bottle and they don't have draft beer. To sum it all, we really enjoy it and would recommend going there, but I think they can make it a little better. I would also mention that the service was very very friendly.

I couldn’t get into the clubs in Berlin so I came here and it was fun while it lasted. Got a drink to chill while we wait for our turn to head into the ice room, there’s not urgency to meet the time, you can take your own time and wait to head in when you are ready. Once in you have to choose between a big or small ice cup. Go for the big one because if you order a beer they can’t give you a big class for that 🍺 But I ordered 2 shots anyway, captain is really friendly and super fun. Told us we can smash our cups when we are done. It was a good night 🥳

Really great fun, highly recommend. We hung out in the warm bar afterwards, good atmosphere.

This is a heck of a fun experience for a short amount of time. Kids can also enjoy this experience so don’t let them be a reason not to go. While all the bartenders seemed great, Simon was an absolutely great host. If you go in the summer, resist the temptation to wear a hoodie. The jackets/ponchos they give are more than enough. They also have kids sized ponchos and gloves so no need to carry a bunch of hot clothes with you. You get one drink at the bar (main building) and two more in the ice bar itself. The main bar has a nearly full bar as far as options while being in the room requires a smaller menu. Kids can get sprite or virgin versions of alcoholic drinks. Great way to escape the heat! Would do again!

Tourist Trap to be avoided. The drinks are mediocre fruit punches. What bothers me the most is the scam they're running with the quality of the liquor. While I was ordering a cocktail, one of the barkeepers was openly refilling an empty Jägermeister bottle with cheap off-brand liquor. When I confronted one of the barkeepers about that practice, he responded that he was only working here, not making decisions. In short, the drinks are really bad, there's only a single ice room that's rather uninspiring, and - most importantly - the staff doesn't even speak German, even if you turn up with a crowd of 7 Germans and request German instructions. We're in Germany, I'm a Berliner, learn the language if you're working in the service industry. Imagine you were in a bar in the US, the UK or France that didn't speak the native tongue. People would feel offended. Ridiculous establishment!

Had a fantastic time with “captain” Ewelina, a completely different experience for our last night in Berlin. The starting cocktails (Prussian Adventure and Hansa Explorer) were delicious. Ewelina provided excellent recommendations on which shots to try (mint and white chocolate) in the ice bar and then went above and beyond recommending local places for dinner! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Berlin.

I like that you get the drinks free as long as you get three 3. The drinks are mild and flavorful and you can have as many as you like. The actual ice bar tours are done in 30-minute increments. At first, I thought I would be obligated to stay in the full 30 minutes in the icebox but I was wrong. The Icebar has its own branded liquor with a variety of flavors and is not too alcoholic. The story of the origin of the Icebar is also intriguing. I would be willing to visit the Icebar in another location.

Get those gloves out! I booked myself and the better half a cheeky visit on day 1 of our trip! I wasn't disappointed! The ticket includes 3 drinks. The first being any drink from the menu and then two drinks from inside the frozen tundra themed bar area! It's decorated well and there's a good few photo opportunities to enjoy along with the kicking music! I personally recommend the lager in the ice glass!! Amazing!

Such a fun experience! The drinks and service were very good. The ice sculptures were excellent! Ice glasses should have held an entire bottle of beer, rather than only part of the bottle. Overall would recommend!

Really lovely atmosphere but not a great deal going on - the exterior bar was warm and friendly with drinks not being too expensive. The staff were so nice! They provide coats and jackets before you go into the ice room. The ice room was a cool concept but was a bit of a let down. Not much going on in there - one seat, small space, lots of boxes containing ice lying around

Amazing experience! Drinking super cold desperado beer at -15°C in a glass made of ice, is an experience that you should try at least once in your life 🤩 The stuff is super nice, funny and they do know how to have fun! Moreover you can book your tickets online and have a 3€ discount! 😉 Just an advise: bring something to cover your legs! (for the upper part they will give you a jacket and gloves)💃

After entering, and buying or showing your ticket, you receive a passport and the little adventure begins. You can order any drink of the menu and wait for the captain to call for the next group. After putting on safety gear you go to the cold room. Now you can order 2 shots (or beer or limonade) so you can survive the cold. A fun place to start your evening.

What a huge tourist trap! Avoid this place the cocktails are shockingly strong with no taste apart from the alcohol there was no balance in the flavours at all one even tasted like toothpaste in my five years of running a 5* cocktail bar I have never experienced such awful tasting drinks. The ice bar itself… is a room with three ice sculptures and one seat for pictures. This tourist trap is the worst I’ve ever seen I started with a curiosity about the polar race and left in a race of my own to get to the next bar. This place is a massive cash grab and could have been so much better!

Awesome experience!! Friendly staff, excellent service, super fun!!! Ewelyn is great! She is great and cheerful. Our captain was funny and the ice bar itself was cold but our bartender made it so warm and welcoming. Anyone that comes to Berlin should come try this place out. Totally recommend it.

Such a cool experience! They have separate sections so you’re not in the ice bar for the entirety of your experience and we found that really cool. The cocktails are really pretty and the staff are lovely. Would definitely recommend this place!

This is a really cool experience, this is the first ice bar that I visited and I have to say that is not the last one! The provided coat and gloves keep you very hot but is best to already wear at least a jacket and for sure long trousers. The cocktails are really good. For the price you pay it’s a great stop in Berlin!

Fun. Don't go too early. Few ice sculptures in the actual ice bar. Most people don't stay in there too long because cold. You choose two shots or two beer. Most couldn't finish the beer because so cold.

Interesting experience in Berlin. Originally from Canada, I felt right at home!! It costs 20€ for one drink in the tavern and 2 others in the Ice Bar. Sad thing is that the drinks in the ice bar are really small, and there is not much entertainment. Nice thing to do, but I won't re-do it.

Had a really fun time at the Ice Bar! Our captain was great and very chatty, pre drinks were good and our Ice Beers were chilled!!! Value for money is great and would recommend for a touristy thing to do! Was also nice to be in the fridge for a bit during the heatwave 😝

Awful. Expensive for a cocktail an two "beers" served on ice glasses (a 30 cl. filled two glasses). You just enter, make some photos, wait in the queue to be served in a crowded bar, practically swallow the beer and in less than half an hour they kick you out, to let in the next cattle. The deco was nice, but this is just touristic trash

Fun evening, 1st time at an Ice bar, great sculptures, lovely staff, white chocolate shots were delicious!! If you are a visitor check online deals with hop on/off bus as you can get a good deal with ice bar, we didn't but could save 10 euro if you buy tickets together.

Fun place, thought the ice room was bigger but we enjoyed it. The bummer was that the bartender poured us the wrong shot and asked us to drink it. He then didn’t give us the one we originally asked for, wasting one of our drink tokens. Total bummer. The outside bar was fantastic with great service (I highly recommend the Sour Z shot!). Sadly the only part we will remember is the nasty black licorice shot we were tricked into drinking 🤮🤢

Venturing into the Berlin Ice Bar is akin to stepping into a different realm—an Arctic wonderland right in the heart of the city. This exceptional experience is not just a visit to a bar, but rather an adventure that takes you into a world of sculpted ice and frosty charm. The bar's ambiance is nothing short of a winter fantasy, a captivating spectacle of finely crafted ice sculptures shimmering in the soft glow of the blue lights. Everything from the bar, seats, and even the glasses you drink from is made of ice, providing an immersive experience that mirrors the stark beauty of the Arctic. Upon entering, you're provided with a warm poncho and gloves, essential gear to enjoy this unique venue comfortably, given the constant temperature of -10°C. It's an interesting juxtaposition, being bundled up in warm gear while sipping on cool cocktails in a frosty setting. Speaking of cocktails, the Berlin Ice Bar offers a fantastic selection. The drinks are served in ice glasses, which adds a unique chill to your beverage. The cocktails are flavorful, well-mixed, and they seem to taste even better in this icy setting. What truly elevates the experience is the staff, who are warm and welcoming, despite the bar's frosty surroundings. They are professional, friendly, and truly go the extra mile to ensure you have a fantastic time. The Berlin Ice Bar is more than a place to grab a drink—it's a unique experience that's well worth the visit. Whether you're a local looking for something different or a tourist seeking a memorable adventure, I would highly recommend a visit to this frosty retreat. You'll leave with a newfound appreciation for the chill, and of course, some incredible memories!

You need to get tickets ahead of time if you want to visit this place! After passing a turnstile you get 3 drinks free. 1 before you enter the ice bar and two at the ice bar. The music and atmosphere was nice and the staff were upbeat. They supply you with a jacket and gloves if you want / need it. You have two hours total for your visits till you get to the exit.

Lovely experience! They have tasty alcohol, it's super sweet, didn't expect that! The bar itself is interesting and it wasn't really as cold as we expected it to be! We were welcomed by captain Julian which was an amazing host!!

Cool place. Good drinks. Nice experience. Very affordable. Also, VERY cold in the Icebar!

  • 4/5 Piers D. 9 months ago on Google
Had a great time and value for money is actually pretty good - the drinks were nice too (highly recommend the white chocolate vodka). It's maybe a little smaller than you'd expect, both the warm and the cold bar, but it didn't feel overcrowded (without being dead either).

Julian was a great bartender and a great host. He was very nice and we definitely stayed at the actual ice bar for over an hour. He was with us the whole time and created a wonderful atmosphere for everyone.

Fantastic experience, staff super friendly, helpful and bilingual which made the journey very welcoming. Nothing prepared me for the -11 degrees ice bar and was an amazing experience I cannot reccomend enough to those wishing to dip their toes into the artic expedition.

Nice cold freezing experience. Enough drinks are included so that is nice. But the guy at the entrance was not nice to tourists. Kept speaking German while we clearly asked for an English explanation. Once inside everything was more than satisfactory. Would recommend.

Great great environment. The ice bar was incredible. The best part of the experience was Maria the bartender/captain as she was superb. Made it fun for everyone

  • 5/5 Alanah G. 2 years ago on Google
Lovely experience, charismatic and attentive staff, tasty cocktails, be aware that of the 3 drinks you get with your ticket, 1 can be anything from the tavern but the other 2 have to be beer or shots from the ice bar. Can buy 4 cocktails for €30. We were the first ones there at 6.30pm but got more busier later on, although very covid safe. I really recommend visiting here.

This is added to an incredible place in my list. The atmosphere of the bar is great! Lot of new alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages to try on. Place is located close to Berliner Fernsehturm . The staff is very friendly and has a unique experience trying -10 degrees like close to Antarctica 👍🏻🥶 . Has 2 bars . One is outside with normal room temperature and bar and other to experience coldest atmosphere inside which also has another unique bar which is made of ice!! Tickets can be bought online or at the counter. Cheap as 20€ with one drink free sitting outside to choose from the menu and 2 drinks free inside the Ice Bar! The dedicated and motivated staff brief before going inside the ice chamber, which has 30 minutes of time clock ! Don't worry about winter clothes because they have jackets and gloves, which is complementary from the bar! 😌 I will recommend to try atleast once in your lifetime! Shoutout to all incredible staff and nice concepts! 👏 Ps. Would be great if they have any snacks or food to offer with drinks !😉 ( no food service)

Awesome bar, great staff. They are enthusiastic about the experience and incredibly social. I will definitely come back with friends. Amber was a fount of knowledge for English speakers when it comes to Berlin’s night life.

Really cold -10f. Nice ice sculptures and a story of a sailors who were stuck on north west passage ice floats nearly a year.

  • 2/5 Johnson J. 2 years ago on Google
Easy to get there with public transport. Prices are alright for what you get. Unfortunately our experience wasn’t too good, especially with the manager neither with the bar employee at the first bar. The idea of the ice bar is cool but it is executed in a “cheap” touristic way. The ice glasses are nice though.

  • 4/5 Paula S. 2 years ago on Google
Fun! 3 drinks included in the price, commuted staff, and a bit of a history lesson too! Also, the hazelnut and nougat shots were delicious

This was a wonderful experience, I absolutely recommend this while visiting Berlin! Especially on hot summer days it's great to get some time in the cold :) The staff is lovely and the drinks are great. I really enjoyed the icebar part with ice sculptures and places to take photos in.

We enjoyed the Icebar it was a good experience and well priced with 3 drinks included in the admission price. Great staff and great drinks. We were it to be bigger but we still would recommend a visit

  • 5/5 Joosep 1 year ago on Google
What a fantastic experience. The entrance fee can be quite high but you get 3 free drinks for it and just for that, the price is worth it but then you also get to spend time in a bar made out of ice, which if you haven't been to before, is really interesting. Keep in mind, everything is made out of ice so it will be cold but you can leave at any time. The staff was very friendly as well and spoke English

  • 5/5 eveeegee 1 year ago on Google

Such a COOL experience!! ;) they bring the fun alive while educating you about the Hansa…..the ice bar is unlike anything I’ve been to! The bartenders are great and heighten the experience for all! Definitely recommend!!

  • 2/5 Daniel S. 1 year ago on Google
Reviewing for a friend: Not only a waste of energy (this should actually be forbidden) but also a waste of money considering that a beer is roughly half a 0.3l bottle only (ie 0.15l, see “dents” in ice glasses)! Ice bar is basically just freezing and has some decorative ice but apart from that is just a regular room, so nothing fancy to expect!

We went yesterday and we had an amazing experience! The cocktails at the first bar were amazing, and they weren’t overpriced at all. The inside of the ice bar was beautiful, the music was great and the service was the best we’ve had in a long time. I really recommend it!!
