I came in without a reservation looking for a bike for three days. Stefan who works here was very sardonically funny, friendly, and really seemed like he wanted to help me get set up with a bike that would fit me and make be happy. He let me swap on my own clip pedals, and I rented a pannier. The bike itself was great, had hydraulic disc brakes and was really great for long rides out of Berlin, no mechanical problems, would have been happy to use it for a long tour. Drop off was easy, prices were fair.

We rented two mountain bikes for a day, then after a 2 hour ride we got a flat tire in the middle of the forest near Potsdam. The boss we were supposed to call simply couldn't be reached by phone. We then had to push the heavy bike for hours and change trains several times - because there was no return service, or at least the possibility of having the bike connected there and picked up. We were then allowed to pay another 20 euros for the record, we actually thought we would get compensation for the non-existent service. I have never experienced anything like this that is not included in the rental fee. This doesn't happen with sensible, flat-proof bicycle tubes - but savings are made everywhere. Mine had almost no tread on it, and there wasn't even a bell on the other bike. Neither does a cell phone holder, which costs 10 euros. No thanks, never again! Not recommendable.

The bikes were excellent and prices were pretty good. The owner wasn‘t really nice to me though, I don‘t know why, but I still recommend highly.

My partner's leg was hurt so we rented E-bikes for the very first time. The quality and range of our bike was outstanding. One can easily bike for 12-16 hours on a single charge. The clerk who helped us was extremely helpful and friendly. We would gladly rent here again.

The person working here was everything but helpful. When we for example asked her what nice cycling routes we could take in Berlin, she ironically responded by saying that 'Berlin is not really a cycling city'. When asking if we could get larger bikes she simply said: 'you can adjust the height of the bicycle seats' instead of giving us larger bikes. This turned out not to be the case. One of us had to cycle on a bike with a loose bicycle seat. I think there are better bike rental places in Berlin than this one.

Bottomless power amplifier. I'm kidding tourists, but no regular customers. The bike reserved for 10 a.m. could not be picked up because the shop only opened 30 minutes after opening time. Of course the bike wasn't ready (inflated etc.) Rainy day. No mudguard on it. But the maximum amount of rent is paid in advance. Reflect on yourself. Never again.

Great bike rental service in Berlin. I've been a 'loyal' customer for years - always well-maintained bikes and on-site service. Here you pay what you get and no frills and real bikes for real tours. Tip: It's best to make a reservation, but you can find a solution spontaneously.

We booked the East Berlin tour with 4 people. Things got a little tricky because, true to German, we were there on time, of course, but no one was there yet. Heinz, our guide, arrived late and then bustled around for a while, so that we only got to the start half an hour late. But then it started and ripped everything out again. Heinz asked again what we would like to see and quickly changed the tour completely. The 18 km turned into a great 30 km and we had a lot of fun. Thank you for accommodating Tempelhofer Feld. That made me really happy! We stopped at a great beer garden for lunch. It was a complete success and we were extremely satisfied. Thank you again from East Westphalia!

Heinz is a very nice dealer with a lot of know-how. However, our experience wasn't the best. He advertised a Ghost e-bike on E-Bay, which I wanted to take a look at after a previous phone call. During the phone call I was told that something could be done in terms of price and that the bikes were in great shape. The bike I was considering had a lot of scratches and 3,500 km with an 8 in the spoke for €2,400. Another bike with only 400 km was offered to me for €200 more, or €2,600. Since Heinz didn't have time until 7 p.m., we didn't set off on our 150km car trip until later to see the bikes. We left extra late to be there at 7 p.m. However, he wasn't in the suburbs. He would have wanted to do the business over the phone since he wasn't on site. Unfortunately, that was extremely unprofessional.

We had a great tour with Stefan yesterday. It was a very enjoyable and interesting way to see a bit of Berlin. Highly recommended!

We rented 4 eBikes for 5 days and drove from Hamburg to Berlin. I've been to dozens of Berlin bike shops before and found by far the best ones at Urban Bike at a fair price. The service was very friendly & extremely professional. Always my pleasure!!!

We rented two bikes and panniers to ride from Berlin to the Baltic/Ostsee. The staff was helpful and the bikes were great. No problems for the full 300+km!

I had an issue with my bikes breaks and went to another bike store close by who was going to charge me 100 euros and claimed my chain also needed replacing. This sounded strange to me since it had never come off and I went to URBAN BIKE TOURS instead. They then explained the chain didn’t need replacing, fixed the breaks for 15 euros less than the maximum it could cost and pumped up my bikes tires too as a surprise. I feel it’s safe to say they do not overcharge and would recommend anyone to use their services even if it’s not very close to their home.

We rented bikes to see the city on our own. It was a beautiful Saturday and the gentleman was on.his own as his co-worker called in sick. It was crazy busy but he worked cheerfully and efficiently to make sure everyone was looked after and satisfied. Bikes were comfortable and well maintained and I would definitely go back. Thank you!

Very bad experience, we are told that bikes are available that we have to wait, 45 minutes later we are told that there are no more bikes. The store owner does not look us in the eye and lets his employee handle the problem. Never go there!!!

Great advice and super friendly interaction. Discovering Berlin by bike is really worth it! The Märkischesviertel and Tempelhofer Feld in particular were incredibly worth seeing. It's also nice to see how well and quickly you can get around Berlin by bike.
