This is by far the worst place I've ever stayed. Extremely noisy!! There ambulance parking right next door, a church bell across the street, and at night there are lots of drunk noisy people. The windows didn't close properly, the bathroom flooded out to the room. You'll get a sense of apprehension just getting in the place. Good luck!! You'll need it.

Unfortunately we were unable to stay at this hotel because it was during the Berlin Marathon and EVERY street to this motel was closed off. The only reason we had tried to book this hotel was because we needed a place to park our vehicle and since all the roads were closed, it was impossible to get to there. The staff were extremely rude when we tried to work with them to find a way there via the vehicle, they told us we should park 5 km away and walk. Not only was the suggested parking garage unreachable due to the road closures but it was in a very seedy part of the city. Upon finding that the suggested alternative parking garage was not reachable (and so far away), we tried calling them back to cancel our booking and get a refund. The staff member became belligerent and told us it was OUR fault we couldn't get to the hotel. He hung up on us after telling us we were stupid for not knowing the Berlin Marathon was happening that weekend. How would we know the Berlin Marathon was happening? We obviously booked a motel because we are NOT from the area! We tried calling back to speak to a manager and once again, were hung up on. Needless to say, the staff at this motel are unbelievably unfriendly and don't have the slightest clue of what customer service is. They charged us the full amount for the stay even though we couldn't reach the hotel. The staff should be retrained in customer service and learn some manners! Awful experience!!!

These flats are adequate but not great. The location is good, fairly central and close to an S-Bahn station. The rooms are fairly clean with a mismatch of furniture in differing states of repair. They do feel secure though with codes for every door. The downsides are that it's all a bit ropey with various broken things in the rooms. The street level looks dirty and uncared for which doesn't give a good impression. Parking is tricky and depends on whether or not there is space. The traffic noise, particularly ambulance sirens, can be significant. It's OK to use as a place to sleep but I wouldn't recommend spending any more time there.

There was no shower curtain so bathroom flooded. Moreover, Wi-Fi was not working inside the room. However, the room was clean, and receptioner was really kind. Additionally, it is cheap.

Furchtbar... FURCHTBAR!!! Einfach alles an diesem Hotel ist grauenvoll! Wir haben über Booking.com gebucht und deshalb die gefälschte und gute Bewertung der Hotelbesitzer gesehen und leider geglaubt. Größter Fehler unseres Lebens. Die Location ist grauenvoll, mit Feuerwehr und Polizeistation direkt nebenan... dass heißt EXTREM laute Sirenen den ganzen Morgen und Abend lang (das Hotel ist direkt neben einer Hauptstraße). Über den Service rede ich nichtmal, der war nämlich nicht vorhanden... Rezeption war sowohl bei den Öffnungszeiten als auch sonst immer wenn wir vorbeischauen wollten, einfach abgeschlossen, wir mussten beim Nachtservice anrufen und wurden dann beschimpft weil wir da "stören und alle wichtigen Infos zum check-in schon haben sollten". Im Haus laufen Mäuse herum, es wird im Treppenhaus an die Wand gepinkelt, einfach unglaublich! Die Zimmer sind auch schlimm. Die Betten und Handtücher waren voller Haare als wir ankamen, das heißt: es wird zwischen Besuchern nicht gründlich geputzt. So Sachen wie Bügeleisen etc., die laut Angaben inklusive waren, waren nicht aufzufinden und das Bad war ungemütlich zum nutzen, da der Duschkopf per Hand gehalten werden musste (Halter war abgebrochen)! Zudem kommt noch, das es im Bad weder Lüftung noch Fenster gab, heißt: wenn jemand auf Nummer 2 musste, dann hat das ganze Zimmer gestunken!!! Ich könnte noch weitere Sachen aufzählen (Obdachloser der im Treppenhaus schläft, kaputter Fahrstuhl, und einige andere Sachen) aber ich denke jeder versteht schon, was das für ein Hotel ist. Ich wünsche so einen aufenthalt nicht einmal meinen schlimmsten Feinden.

Cheap and dirty. Nobody is available either on the reception, or by given email and phone numbers. I was asking for a payment receipt via all available contacts and they just ignored my requests. I have no idea how would things work in case of any emergency - who to call and who to ask?

Great place in a very good location. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Excellent contact with very helpful host. Highly recommend!

It was not as bad, as we thought. At all! Good beds, everything worked and nothing was broken. Would recommend.

Lovely large clean room with a fridge and a kettle. Manager was very nice and let us check in an hour early.

The hotel was really big and clean. Close to the bus and metro. I had a great experience. Totally recommended

Wir waren anfangs wegen der Rezensionen sehr skeptisch, aber das Hotelzimmer war für 2 Nächte völlig in Ordnung. Der Eingang zum Hotel ist neben dem Supermarkt sehr unscheinbar und leicht zu übersehen, sodass man da erstmal etwas suchen muss. Angekommen mussten wir aufgrund des defekten Fahrstuhls die Treppen nehmen. Da wir jedoch kleines Gepäck hatten, hat das keine Probleme dargestellt, doch wenn man über einen längeren Zeitraum und mit größeren Gepäck anreist, kann es anstrengend werden. Zur Check-In Zeit war die Rezeption geschlossen und das Telefon konnte auch nicht erreicht werden. Nach einer halben Stunde hat man die Information bekommen, dass das Einchecken selbstständig erfolgt und man dazu eine gehörige Mail bekommen hat. (Diese müsste man evt. im Spam Ordner aufsuchen) Im Zimmer eingecheckt, war das Zimmer als auch das Bad sauber. Natürlich war es im Zimmer hier und da an den Sockelleisten schmutzig, aber ertragbar. Küchenausstattungen wie Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, etc. werden mit einem anderen Zimmer wahrscheinlich geteilt, da diese im Flur zur Verfügung gestellt worden sind. Einige in der Liste aufgeführten Ausstattungen, gab es jedoch auch gar nicht, wie zum Beispiel einen Haartrockner. Die Lage ist direkt an der Straße, sodass die direkt vorm Hotel liegenden Bushaltestellen oder die ca 400m entfernte S-Bahn Station leicht zu erreichen sind. Hinzu kommt aber, dass es nachts sehr laut werden kann. Zusammengefasst war unser 2 nächtige Aufenthalt im City Inn Berlin zufriedenstellend. Dadurch dass wir im City Inn nur geschlafen haben und wenn nötig das Bad benutzt haben, können wir uns nicht viel beschweren.

Ne Flüchtlingsunterkunft ist schöner... Dreck egal wo man hinsieht! Defektes Mobiliar was den Eindruck macht man hätte es beim Sperrmüll eingesammelt! Danke, nie wieder!!! Achja und natürlich verdammt laut aufgrund der Lage!😉💥

This hostel is not worth your money or time. The staff is very disappointing and rude. They do not care about the customer at all or at least so was I told. I strongly recommend you to go anywhere better so that you have a good time.

The rooms can be noisy, the street is just under the window. But it's clean, cheap and comfortable

Avoid it if you can! Bed was one of the worst I've slept in. Basically they've just bought a few rooms in an apartment block and called them a hotel with little or no modification. Reception only opens 7 hours a day (and one receptionist smokes like a chimney). The only positives were it was a big room that had been recently decorated plus they provided a small kettle for hot drinks.

You should not expect a hotel service. If your expectations are for a good and cheap staying, I would definitely recommend.

Despite the broken windows that couldn't be closed, the stay was ok. Big plus for having the opportunity of going back at every time of the day or night. Good location, near to the Bahn station.

0/5 Sterne (leider techn. nicht möglich, daher 1 Stern…), Zimmereinrichtung ist abgenutzt/defekt; Bad größtenteils defekt und beim duschen überschwemmt man alles, weil es nicht mal eine Duschwand gibt. Im Zimmer stand ein Wasserkocher und zwei Tassen, die wohl schon seit dem Bau dort stehen, vom Schmutz her… Der Aufzug hört sich an als liefe er mit Zweitaktdiesel… alles in allem wirkt jede Berliner U-Bahn einladender und sauberer… So Gott will - nie wieder City-Inn Berlin-Schöneberg!!!

The balance of quality and price was excellent; the room was pretty clean, the service was super nice and the position isn't the best of the best, but it's not too far away from the center of Berlin.

Schlechtestes Hotel, in dem ich jemals war. Der Service ist unterirdisch, es ist zu keinem Zeitpunkt irgendjemand in der Rezeption und wenn man versucht jemanden telefonisch zu erreichen, wird man nur dumm angemacht. Roomservice gibt es nicht, in 6 Tagen bekamen wir nur einmal frische Handtücher. Im Treppenhaus des Gebäudes schlafen Obdachlose, und es laufen Mäuse herum. Als Krönung ist das Treppenhaus dann auch gerne mal Vollgepinkelt. Es ist immer laut da das Hotel an einer großen Straße liegt, und konstant Feuwehr und Polizei vorbei fahren. Im Zimmer waren überall Haare auf den Betten und Handtüchern und es war nicht richtig geputzt. Absolut keine Empfehlung.
