I stayed here for one night because I had to. Unfortunately, all the negative comments are true. This "hotel" is a place for construction workers to sleep. Definitely not a place to be for a good time, neither with family nor alone. Please review the photos. There was a pouf at the head of the bed as a nightstand. There is an obvious and large stain. The sheets looked like they had been whipped but not changed. There is no table where you can turn on your computer and sit. Most importantly, the toilet seat was broken, when lifting the lid up, it came completely out of place. Although there is space in the bathroom, the smallest toilet sink is installed. Just the size of my palm. The floors get wet when you wash your face. There were no body towels in the room, there were only two hand towels. Finally, the elevator was not working, so I took the sixth floor staircase. The interesting thing is that in the comment made a year ago, it was written that the elevator was broken. This means that the elevator is not operated deliberately.

Unbedingt lesen&nicht hingehen!!!! Zimmer 0 wie auf den Bildern, zudem hat's gestunken und war saukalt! Empfangsdame war nett dann hat's auch aufgehört ... Eine Rückerstattung trotz nicht erbrachter Dienstleistung erfolgt nicht es wird sich rausgeredet es Stünde alles online etc. Wer hier dennoch eincheckt und dort schläft weil keine Option etc und Mängel die Gesundheitsgefährdend sind entdeckt kann sich jederzeit an das Gesundheitsamt wenden und auch das Gewerbeamt kontaktieren. sind nach 1½ Stunden wieder weg und in das grand inn in der Nähe was definitiv besser ist!

The architecture of the hotel reminds me very much of the former glory of Eastern German and Sowjet times. On the inside, everything is charming, sleazy and adventurous, including many of the fellow guests. It was an interesting experience to be insulted by someone who was probably an actor in a gangster movie and rehearsing his role, so I didn't take it personal. My room didn't fit into the outer appearance, it was clean and more comfortable than hotels I experienced in London, on the other hand, my co-travellers who had a separate room really enjoyed the blood stains on their sheets. I will be back for sure.

Ich habe die negativen Bewertungen vorher gelesen und mich dann trotzdem ganz bewusst für dieses Hotel entschieden. Ganz ehrlich? Für den Preis kann man mehr nicht erwarten! Ihr bucht halt kein 5-Sterne-Hotel. Zimmer, Bad und Bett waren sauber. Der oft erwähnte Aufzug ist Baujahr 2022 und war in Betrieb, Handtücher, Seife und mehrlagiges Toilettenpapier auf dem Zimmer. Personal freundlich. Keine dubiosen Gestalten auf den Gängen. Und ich fands einfach auch kultig, mal wieder in einer DDR-Platte zu übernachten. Alleine der Ausblick bot ein ganz eigenes Ostflair, das man so in Deutschland kaum noch findet. Muss man auch einfach mal zu schätzen wissen. Ein Stern Abzug nur, weil die Heizung nicht lief, das ist nachts dann schon etwas frisch gewesen. Ich buche beim nächsten Berlin-Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall wieder hier!

Echoing what others have said, avoid this place at all costs! We discovered bed bugs and when we reported this to the front desk, they asked us for photographic evidence. Once we managed to get a decent shot of one, they told us to send them an email with the photo for a potential partial refund. This is not how things should be done!

Worst experience ever!! This is not a hotel, its like a mining camp for temporary construction workers. In my entire life I haven’t seen such kind of radiculous stingy, dirty & dusty room. I felt like I was trapped. I have a reservation till day after tomorrow but i can’t able to stay more than a night. My wife gotta allergy due to awesome bed sheets🫡 & pillow cover🤢🤮🤮🤮 Very aweful. I recommend everyone that please don’t fall on a trap 🪤 by looking its price. I booked next hotel right away after adding some euros. I didn’t care about the refund and I saved my health. This hotel needs to be shut down, my personal opinion. No no no no and big no to this garbage hotel.

They've been telling you for months that they've been fixing the heating and hot water problem, but it's all false. they just do it to save money. the structure is intended for the homeless and perfume, they use it for commercial purposes. Warn the police, it is criminal to keep people without hot water and heating in Berlin for months just to get more money. Report to the German police please. let's close this shameful place.

I think this might be the worst hotel I've been to in Europe. The heater worked for 2 days only during my 13 days. I only bathed for two days. Even though I complained about this to the reception, they told me to inform the management. But there was no response from the management. They fixed another room for bathing but that also did not work. I don't know how a guest can spend a night here in winter. I request you never ever to go to this hotel. If you book with mistake please think 2 twice ..

150€ for a night might be cheep in Berlin, however the overall experience was awful. Pros: * Nice forthcoming staff in reception that was trying to fix things for us. Cons: * No functional elevator in this 6-7 floors complex. * Squeaky beds, (see attached video sample). * Smell of mold in the toilet * Paint on the floor in the room (like an 7 year old child made the wall paint). * The "free parking" offered, was in a street close by with far from 0 break-ins in the cars parked there. The parking in front of the hotel is good, but only considers guests that stays 1 night. Hotel rate only between 14:00-11:00. * No curtains in the windows when we got there, but this was the one thing they managed to fix, so kudos for that. * We had not booked breakfast, but was compensated with breakfast tokens for all our problems. However when we got down to the breakfast all plates was badly washed, so we skipped it and went to the local Lidl store to get breakfast. * Apart from the reception, all other staff was incapable of speaking English (and barely German as well), and my impression was that the staff was living outside in the back of the complex in tents(?!). All in all, I've only been staying in one worse accommodation before in my life, and that was Eurotower in London, but then the price was 10£ per night.

I was little bit scared by all the bad reviews here , but at the end our stay was fine. Hot water, clean rooms, nice staff… nice bistro few meters away with delicious kebab… hotel is quite old without elevator… but beside that it was price worthy

It's a very poor Hostel. You didn't feel safe in this place. It's not a hostel it's place like youth houses or refugee home. There is no activity in the area to do minimum 20 min with S-Bahn... The room is so small for 4 People and the toilet also. The Sink has no strainer. You can hear everything from ur room. your neighbor or anyone in the floor. The gusts are not calm. The bed make a noise when u sleep :( My room in the 4th floor and there is no Lift. I didn't recommend this place if u visit Berlin for a few days and want to have nice vacation. But the price was ok and the place is very clean.

Felt extremely unsafe. Worst possible hotel ever. The walls are so thin you can hear everything from the neighbours. Heating was not working in the middle of winter. Burn your money on fire stay on the streets don't come here. Cherry on top, you can smell your neighbours toilet as well as the ventilation system is terrible.

I could hv given zero but there are no option for this. Many issues: 1). Rooms are in very bad shape. Dirty, and kind of smell. 2). No ventilation. 3). Lift is not working, i guess atleast from many months. Problem is, they hv just one lift and it is not working. 4). Very far away from the city center. It feel like u r not in Germany but kinda gangwar place. Night is not safe. Even inside the hotel, you will feel that any time u will be looted. Worst hotel I have ever stayed. Plz don't stay here. One of the most horrible experience I had in a hotel. Super old hotel with unfriendly staff and no elevator. Had to go up the stairs until the 6th floor. The room was horrible and the mattress dirty.

We booked a 4 day stay in April 2020, couldn’t travel due to corona restrictions. Management promised us a full refund. We got a lawyer and they keep on promising to refund the money yet nothing has been done. Absolutely Unacceptable ! The court is on our side but their hands are tight due to their headquarters being located in Bulgaria

I do not recommend this hotel at all. Everything is disgusting. The service is very bad. The rooms are unclean and not cleaned even if requested. Bad smell, no TV, paid parking (5€ per day). There is no refrigerator or air conditioner. Everything is uncomfortable.

This "hotel" is the worst I ever stayed in. Our room was dirty, ugly and smelled of garbage and scent. The furniture was in very bad conditions and there were even strange spots on the walls.... The staff was ok, but they didn't change our sheets or towels, so we didn't had the sensation of being in a real hotel but in a low-quality hostel (we paid more than 50 euros per night!!!!). Despite all these shocking details, the hotel position is comfortable. Trams and buses in front if the door. I don't recommend this hotel at all!

an average experience but not anything more. it gave me shelter and a bed to sleep in but i gagged everytime i went into the bathroom because the smell was purely terrible even on the day we first arrived. it wasn’t a stand out experience but it was cheap and we did get what we paid for. it was close to the train station which was very convenient and they allowed us an early check in. the elevator clearly hasn’t been fixed or serviced in months according to these reviews, i’m just grateful we were only on the 2nd floor and didn’t have to walk up many stairs. average experience, do not have high expectations

We (4 adults) stayed a night in a room with private shower and toilet for 108€ (including breakfast) which I feel is very cheap . The room was clean and good .

very important. I booked one night through agoda on 13th July. However, without knowing it, 3 days had been reserved, and payment had been made. About $400 was about to disappear. I requested a refund for the 2 errors in the payment through Agoda. I was informed about the unfairness of the payment for about a week. And no other contact at all. I will inform you. Please pay very carefully before paying for this accommodation. There may be cases where payment is made multiple times without you even knowing it. Hope there is no damage.

It was my first time in Berlin and I was very satisfied with my choice of hotel. The staff welcomed me and my family in a very friendly manner and the check-in was completed in 2 minutes

I give less than zero for rating this horrible hotel.. verrrrry dirty rooms, broken beds, elevator was not working, they gave us an out of service room, not caring and bad staff, bad management, they refused refunding us, the manager was not there and not caring for what is happing in that hotel... i do not recommend, this place prepared for another creatures ....!!!! In this place they take precautionary measures against covid 19 and the place is conducive.

For 133 euro a night, no elevator no TV. You can smell the bed with cigarette 😨😨😨. Outside was so noisy, i dont know why but many people outside shouting and laughing. Other hotel like B&B hotel is with aircon with TV and so clean for only 105 Euro.

Normal location No heater No hairdryer Room was smelling really bad like a wet dog and wasn't clean. Elevator wasn't working. But price and performance ratio is OK.

Cons: Small room, no AC - very warm, dirty beds, no shampoo or body wash qnd the handwash was filled with water. Pros: wifi and parking which cost 5 euros.

Best and worst place in the world when you're drunk for most of it. You need to go with loads of friends to attempt to enjoy this place. Our rooms were decent the the shower and toilet area was surprisingly good for when you get hit by the bad expectations of entrance of the building itself. You can light fires in the back if you want they are not too fussy at all and management are decent people who are laid back. Place could be much cleaner and safer but it was simply okay

failure, dirty rooms no cleaning !!! At the beginning, we paid as much as a month for a few days because we were mistaken for tourists. When we asked to clean and left Karte at the reception, we were checked out and when we returned to the room there was already someone else in the same sheets with the same towels !!!! Fresh linen or towels cannot be requested. The website says 50 Euro for this money you can go to a really good and clean hotel and that's what I recommend doing.

Es gibt im ganzen Hotel nur einen einzigen Aufzug. Sie geben dir keine Seife, kein Toilettenpapier oder Handtücher, man muss sie sich selber besorgen. Die Zimmer stinken und die Betten sind nicht sauber. Die Betten sind total dreckig. Unterhalb sind die Betten nur voller Staub, ich empfehle hier nicht hinzugehen.

Bereits am Empfang fühlte man sich unwohl. Nicht wegen dem Personal, sondern die nicht einladende Atmosphäre. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der 5. Etage und brauchen 15 Minuten bis wir oben angekommen sind, weil der Fahrstuhl kaputt war und so lange gebraucht hat, bis er unten angekommen ist. Da könnte man ja noch drüber weg sehen, wenn der Rest nicht so abartig gewesen wäre. Beim Eintreten in das Zimmer kam einem ein ekelhafter, nicht identifizierender Geruch entgegen. Man hat es mit dem bloßem Auge gesehen, dass der Boden nicht gereinigt wurde. Überall lagen Krümmel und Staub. Es wurde ganz offensichtlich nicht gesaugt oder gewischt oder in irgend einer Form sauber gemacht. Das Bett war mit Flecken und Staub versehen. Über das Badezimmer kann ich nicht viel sagen, da das Licht nicht funktioniert hat und ich davon auch gar nichts sehen wollte und wir sofort wieder ausgecheckt haben. Im Großen und Ganzen kann ich sagen, dass ich ein Ekelgefühl hatte und sofort wieder weg wollte. Sowas darf man nicht vermieten! Das Personal war nach meiner Reklamation freundlich und bemüht uns ein anderes, "sauberes" Zimmer zu geben, was wir abgelehnt haben. Ganz ekelig und nicht zu empfehlen!

The worst experience ever, I got bedbugs in here, the reception did not tell me there was an invasion in the entire floor, the room was terribly dirty and the bathroom even more. I found pubic hair and ex guests’ trash in the “new” room I was moved to, after multiple trials I decided to leave this place immediately. They did not even give me the money back for the day I paid in advance.

The hotel staff at Ootel Berlin truly go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. From the warm greeting at check-in to their assistance with any requests, their friendly demeanor creates a positive and memorable experience. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit! 🌟

Eines der bisher schlechtestes Hostels in denen ich war. Als wir ankamen, wusste man nichts von unserer Reservierung und wir konnten erstmal eine halbe Stunde warten, weil unser Zimmer "gereinigt" wurde. Die Betten und vor allem das Bad waren eklig und es hat überall gestunken. Anstatt eines privaten Zimmers wie bei der Reservierung beschrieben, kamen wir in ein Zimmer mit drinnen-rauchenden Polen. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen auch wenn das Personal freundlich war.

Super schönes und modern ausgestattetes Hotel. Zimmer wirken hochwertig. Die Betten sind spitze und das Duschbad sowohl optisch als auch von der Funktionalität gesehen super. Frühstück für den Preis gut und reichhaltig. Ausreichend Parkplätze im Freien. Gute Anbindung an die Tram (fußläufig zwei Minuten zur Haltestelle). Apotheke und Supermarkt in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Für den Kurs mein bisher bester Hotelaufenthalt in Berlin. Das Dong Xuan Center direkt anliegend ist sicher auch als Highlight zu erwähnen! 5/5 * Kann nichts negatives finden

Facilities were awful. Blood splatter on the walls of ur room. Black mould in the toilet. Lost our key and got a spare from the hotel. Then later on in the day while we are sleeping, the hotel decide to get a locksmith to drill our lock in on our door. Not something that you want to hear when you wake up! Why couldn't this be sorted after we had left the hotel? Staff were unable to see the issue with any of this and made us pay €50 for a new key. Firstly I refused due to the drilling of our hotel room door, causing us to panic thinking someone was trying to break in. But ended up paying the €50 to stop the hassle I was getting from the staff. Very unhygienic, very poorly ran hotel; would not recommend to anyone!! PS - no towels or toilet roll on arrival. Had to wait for the leaner to finish "cleaning" our (stil) blood stained room until 5pm eventhough check in is at 3pm.

Die Zimmer haben eine gute Größe für zwei Personen.Angenehm ist der Blick in den großen Garten. Nebenan kann vielfältig und günstig gespeist werden und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind rund herum. Die Daunenkissen verlieren ihre Federn. Im Waschbecken fehlt ein Verschluss, die Fenster lassen sich nur mit sehr viel Kraft und Lärm öffnen. Wenn Handtücher fehlten, der Kisseninnenbezug ein Loch hatte, das Personal half und tat, unter den Arbeitsbedingungen dort, sein Bestes. Danke dafür!
