The
midwives
and
nursing
staff
were
disinterested,
unempathetic
and
very
unfriendly.
Starting
with
the
birth
and
the
unfriendly
midwife
and
anesthetist
you
can
imagine.
Unfortunately,
I
only
observed
unsanitary
conditions
after
my
cesarean
section.
Starting
with
me
being
driven
half-naked
around
the
ward
at
7
a.m.
with
all
my
clothes
piled
on
the
bed
where
I
was
lying
with
my
newborn
child
because
I
couldn't
wait
30
minutes
for
my
husband
to
come
and
help
me
get
dressed
and
packing
up
my
things
since
I
was
unable
to
move
due
to
the
cesarean
section
that
had
taken
place
the
night
before.
My
shoes
were
simply
placed
at
my
feet.
I
was
driven
from
an
empty
two-person
room
in
which
I
was
alone
without
having
time
to
get
dressed
to
a
room
with
the
patient
and
her
husband.
Luckily,
my
clothes
were
thrown
on
the
bed
so
that
I
could
get
dressed
in
front
of
these
people
when
I
arrived.
I
asked
several
times
for
a
family
room
because
I
couldn't
walk
to
the
changing
table
because
of
the
pain
and
no
nurse
came
to
help
at
night.
Not
even
in
an
emergency
when
my
baby
turned
blue
on
the
first
day
of
life
because
her
stuffy
nose
blocked
her
air
supply.
My
husband
had
to
run
to
the
nurses
because
no
one
answered
the
emergency
bell.
To
this
day
I
am
glad
that
my
husband
was
there
during
visiting
hours.
On
the
second
afternoon
after
the
birth,
I
was
given
a
family
room
without
freshly
made
bed
linen.
Due
to
the
birth,
the
bed
sheet
from
the
first
bed
had
a
blood
stain
from
me
on
it
and
when
the
nursing
staff
changed
rooms
it
was
covered
with
my
clothes
and
shoes.
I
had
to
take
this
blanket
with
me
to
the
new
room
(3rd
room
change).
When
I
got
a
fresh
sheet
at
some
point,
the
only
comments
were
"yeah,
there's
blood
on
it.
Wow,
that's
disgusting,
yuckyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy."
IN
THE
PONTERNATIONAL
WARD
-Hello?
I
was
put
on
mesh
underpants
that
were
too
small,
which
caused
the
postpartum
pad
to
leak
after
the
cesarean
section.
I
was
only
told
this
by
the
third
sister,
who
found
out
by
chance.
The
nurses
were
consistently
unfriendly
and
even
though
we
paid
for
the
family
room,
we
were
yelled
at
because
we
wanted
to
use
the
diapers
in
the
room
that
were
provided
for
us
on
the
changing
table.
“You
have
to
bring
everything
yourself,”
although
the
birth
preparation
course
in
the
same
hospital
and
our
midwife
said
we
could
use
them.
We
left
immediately
after
the
baby's
examination
because
it
was
so
bad,
but
even
though
the
doctor
didn't
say
anything
during
the
examination,
when
we
left
the
room
we
were
shouted
"oh,
your
child
has
jaundice"
by
a
doctor
in
passing.
Of
course
we
immediately
went
to
the
Billyrubin
consultation,
where
we
were
again
told
“no,
what
made
you
think
that?
Everything
looks
good”.
All
in
all
not
recommended.
