Horrible Hospital [Talking about Neurosurgery department] My wife had a mis-diagnosis , the first treating doctor refused to speak in English or bring an interpreter [hint: he turns out he speak english fluently], made a brain surgery without even trying by medicines first and told us it must be done immediately [ fact : even his colleagues said that this was over exaggeration] , then the surgery went wrong and dismissed my wife twice without checking her when she went to ER complaining something is not good [fact: only made an x-ray and discovered their mistake after another the GP called them] Months of pain and a life long condition now she has because of them and the after care / check ups are the worst, you don't feel you are in Germany , probably in a underpaid third world public hospital would be of a better description, I am glad that we switched to another care provider , where we can speak with humans. To be fair the station secretary was very helpful , also one of the first doctor colleagues took over the case and tried to fix the situation but afterwards he refused to make a proper check up and even when being admitted to the hospital [by Request of a doctor] , he doesn't want to pass by!!!!

*cracks knuckles* So, there's a lot to say about my stationary 24-days experience at the Psychiatry of Schlosspark Klinik... First of all, my mistake for trying to be respectful and speak German to the doctors (My level is B1.1, enough to communicate easily, but apparently not to be very exact when talking about medical issues). I told them that I have been depressed for more than 5 years, but lately it's aggravated and I'm in a lethargic state where I can't get motivated about anything. And when I feel on the edge of braking, I smoke a joint to calm down. Apparently, that's all it took (from all the longest of 15 minutes I spoke with the doctor that made my diagnosis) to diagnose me for addiction to Cannabis, and decided that I should be treated for this addiction. I wasn't allowed to go out of the station, I wasn't given any therapies to attend to, except for the "Suchtgruppe" and "Selbsthilfengruppe" (Addiction group, and Helf Help group". Funny thing, the groups were both dedicated to Alcohol problems. So I don't know if you see that leaving a patient that says that can't get motivated, to do nothing but things she's not supposed to do, not let her get fresh air, and leave her do nothing all day, is something to do. I had my blood and urine taken the first day, and the nice thing was that I had no trace of THC in my blood, and that I did specify that this is no addiction because I can also go through a breakdown without smoking, and I hadn't smoked in a while. They said that they needed to wait for 2 weeks so they could see my withdrawal symptoms before giving me any antidepressant. Still saw no sense in the procedure. Yes, I obviously asked to talk with them, and yes, they were "always very busy" but even when I did get to talk with them they were very hesitant to actually hear me out, and soon enough they said "Stop saying that you're not an addict, otherwise we will think you really are." Or if I asked them to repeat what they just said slowly or in English, they replied "Ich glaube du hast mich genug verstanden." ("Du" being disrespectul, even if i'm still young) I got very intimidated by this authority of theirs, but then I realised that they're actually there for my service, so I decided to be stricter and especially speak English. I explained what the problem was, and the team decided that I was going to be treated for depression, and also got to randomly pick an antidepressant of my choice. I was allowed to go out "Zwischenmahlzeit" meaning, between the meals. Was able to do Ergotherapy, Musictherapy, and Gymnastics. So far so good! After one week of isolation... Other random facts from the clinic: -The food was good for lunch, but for breakfast and dinner it was always the same "Buffet" consisting of bread, cheese, ham, and yoghurt. -Except for a few Psychosis and Addiction patients, most of the patients were elderly people with Dementia or Sclerosis. Which gave the place a nursing home feeling. -Nurses love taking breaks and (apparently) asking if you said something about him/her to the other nurse kind of gossip. -No actual psychotherapy, right how could I forget this one, you don't really get to speak to a psychologist/psychotherapist. In 24 days I never spoke to one... I mostly made clay pottery ashtrays to bring in the smoking room of the station, yes, we had a smoking room next to the kitchen. -Sleeping was hard with the roommates that randomly decided to pack their things at 3AM, wake me up to ask me how much more would i be staying there, and then unpacking. Or just talking to themselves, all the time... TLDR; If you go there NOT for addiction, don't mention the drugs otherwise regardless of what you go there for, you will be treated as an addict patient.

(Translated by Google) I am in psychiatry of the lock park clinic. There are only a few nurses who are nice, the doctors on my ward are not exactly the best and the senior physician has not responded to me at all and has not taken the problems seriously. He also interrupted me constantly and did not even talk me out. Maybe it's because I'm still relatively young and just not taken seriously. Other patients on my ward think so too. Besides, the food here is awful. There are carrots every day and among us patients we often joke about it because there is always the same. Many lose their appetite here, as do I. But nothing changes. I feel worse here every day and when I approach things that would help me (such as a one-on-one interview with the psychologist), they are just ignored. The patients are all very nice and show a lot of understanding and also in different groups they try to help each other, which in turn is very encouraging.

First something positive: the doctors, especially the anaesthetist, were good. However, during my time on the station following ankle surgery, I was shocked. 1. When i woke up after the surgery I hadn't eaten since the day before (it was around 7pm), I asked a nurse if i could have something to eat and she shouted at me, made me feel like it was a totally unreasonable request - the other patients in the room were shocked and defended me. Finally she brought me some food but was clearly annoyed that i had asked for something so basic. 2. When I realised my period had started during the surgery, I was once again shouted at for asking for help to get a pad (I wasn't allowed to leave my bed to go to the toilet so soon after surgery.) It was humiliating. I was left in those bloody sheets for 4 days 3. I had a very big ankle surgery and was in pain I had never experienced before (including childbirth), the nurse during the night shift straight after the surgery refused to give me anything stronger than Novalgin and then left me for 6 hours with nothing else. She told me to stop ringing the bell because she couldn't help me. I was sweating and shaking with the pain. Pain management continued to be an issue throughout my stay depending on whether the nurse on shift 'believed' my pain or not, I raised this with the doctors several times. 4. I told the staff that my bandages felt too tight and no one listened to me, now 6 weeks later, i still have nerve pain, which needs pain medication and skin necrosis from having extreme pressure on my foot for 2 days. 5. One evening a nurse filled every patients' thrombosis syringe half with air, thank goodness the other nurse on shift realised before she injected 16 patients with air, she was in disbelief. This added to the general feeling of not being safe on the ward of this hospital. 6. Nurses were exhausted and burned out, 2 nurses for 16 patients is clearly not enough. 7. When i wanted to come back after 6 weeks to discuss the surgery and recovery with the surgeon I had to beg for an appointment on the phone to a very rude receptionist (the same receptionist who a few weeks before told me there is no plaster cast in the hospital, can this be the case in a hospital with an orthopedic department and an emergency room?!). After care is a simple responsibility after major surgery, especially when there are complications such as crippling nerve pain that my general orthopedic doctor couldn't seem to explain. To say I was shocked is an understatement, I feel traumatised by this experience. Sometimes I have nightmares about being back on that ward crying in pain with no one helping me. The experience was inhumane and I deeply regret choosing this hospital. I have never written a review like this but i feel a responsibility to warn people. Once again I will say the doctors were good, but you rarely see them. I particularly appreciated the anaesthetist who showed compassion and diligence but that level of care should be the rule, not the exception.

I was operated on on June 12, 2023 and was in ward 4a. First of all, thanks to Prof. Dr. Böhling for the fantastic work. Thanks to the entire nursing team on ward 4, you're doing a great job, I felt like I was in good hands.

Horrible treatment of patients by doctors and nurses, lack of communication and coordination, complete disinterest. Staff destroys the sick's property and delays their compensation. No apology. Incompetent kitchen crew

(Translated by Google) My experience with this hospital was 3 years ago. But all were anything but positive! At that time I had neurological problems, which at that time, at least for me, could be traced back to an extensive herniated disc with slight pressure on the spinal cord in the cervical spine. There was no other explanation. I still have some of these symptoms today, why, come soon! I was in the neurological ward for almost 2 weeks, where, apart from the BS in the cervical spine, which was already known from my HA, nothing was found. I got the psychological stamp and the diagnosis somatoform disorder! And you can't get rid of it, nowhere! The doctors there somehow did not understand that one can get anxious because of such symptoms, and that it is not fear that causes the symptoms, but the other way around. Instead, clear indications of CNS involvement were ignored. Pathological reflexes but also slight forms of spasticity in the legs, abnormal sensations in the feet and arms. I was operated on later on this BS and was actually rid of some of the symptoms immediately after the operation, namely the paresthesia on my feet. Unfortunately, not all symptoms and new ones appeared. Fortunately, I then found a neurologist immediately afterwards who only said: "Sometimes you have lice and fleas, and the results of the Schlosspark Clinic do not give anything". She had her experiences with the clinic ... It finally came on the idea of doing an MRI of the head. I mention this because the doctors in the NA of the Schlosspark Klinik responded to my suggestion "MRI of the head?" Back then they made the offer "MRI of the head yes, but only if I refer myself to psychiatry". I didn't do it, luckily! They would probably have pumped me full of "I don't care" and forgot the MRI! Because in my MRI there was evidence of something that the neurological department of this hospital actually specializes in, keyword MS. I had thought for a really long time about suing this hospital because a lot of time had passed due to this misdiagnosis and damage to the brain remained. And we're talking about numerous lesions here. But in the end, that doesn't bring my health back, just stress that is unhealthy. And with the right diagnosis, I can enjoy life again and come to terms with what is now. So if you have difficult symptoms without a diagnosis, especially neurological in nature, don't go there!

(Translated by Google) Just made terrible experiences ... My dad is there for the second time, Both times it was the case that one is not informed, the sisters are not allowed to say much, the doctors are out of reach. He sat completely confused and wet on his bed, the nurse just said, he's grown up, 74years old, he has to know when to change clothes ... I waited a long time for the doctor to find out what he was doing He did not have any time ... That was last year. This year, similar ... I'm trying to get information for three days, since I live far away, on the phone I'm just put off, after three days there was a sister, who really did not speak German very well, very nice, but I understood her hardly and she said only a few general things and that she may not say much and I should try to reach a doctor. Would be nice..... My daughter was here today ... she could not speak to a doctor. Between four and five o'clock! My father does not know what he has, how long he has to stay ... I can not believe it ... That there is something .... Is not understandable for me.Sicher financially, staff understaffed ... Sure, everyone thinks it's only good and possibly simply overwhelmed ... But other hospitals somehow manage it. Hope I .. It's not at all .... Terrible the whole ....

(Translated by Google) Castle Park clinic, negative I was in the emergency room / ward for three days and then two days on a "normal ward." So I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible because doctors and the nurse were so unfriendly and stressed out. I don't think many wanted to come across as unfriendly either, because the hospital is simply understaffed and overcrowded with the patient. (That's why I understand why many were stressed and irritated and I don't take it personally.) I already learned on the second day that the nurse reacted incredibly irritated and annoyed when the doorbell rang, so from there I think I still have 1-2 ringed more times the last three days. I was really just a number, a nurse would call me a "window for a patient". I was transferred four times during my five days there. I saw different faces every day and didn't know when to speak. I was only noticed during the tour to get a thrombosis injection and medication. My medication was also mixed up (luckily I noticed.) When I was discharged, I didn't get all the medication I needed and a friend had to go back to pick up the rest of my medication. Overall, I found everything there to be very chaotic and unstructured. positive I would like to contact a SO incredibly lovely nurse named "Lou" who was so incredibly compassionate, pleasant and respectful towards me. Unfortunately, I was only allowed to see her for one day because I was moved to another room in the evening. Overall, I found food very good, the cafe from the Schlosspark clinic is really good and is highly recommended. I would then be there when I could walk again. Staff there is also very nice. Of course, they made me healthy again so far, and of course I'm very grateful for that. I just wish that I was treated more kindly, that I didn't have to be relocated so often and that I really didn't know anyone during the five days (and neither did I.) So, I don't want to go back to this hospital but unfortunately it's connected to the district, so I just hope that I stay healthy. - Mylah

I was an inpatient at the since I had knee surgery yesterday. In the morning, two nurses ( male and female) came to take my blood pressure and remove the caniola. Since they were in a hurry, they did both at the same time. The man who removed the cannula asked me to squeeze with my other hand, which was already used to take the blood pressure. He removed the cannula so roughly that it bled onto the surgical shirt, my arm, my leg, and even the floor. I asked him to do something for the blood, he put on a band-aid without disinfecting or cleaning the blood. He "threw" a towel and a new surgical shirt in the bath chair and left. I called him again after changing the shirt but my hand was still bleeding into the new shirt, he said" you should have cleaned it yourself and next time you would wear your normal shirt". He went back and said he had other patients on the monitor, he even left the main door wide open and said "oh my god it's too early for this bad day". I cleaned up the blood but I couldn't clean or disinfect the wound because I had a blaster over it. I called the nurse to ask her if I could change it or disinfect the blood stains. She took the patch off, mumbled something in another language, and slammed the door. I asked the doctor if she could discharge me earlier than expected because of the poor treatment by the nursing staff, she said she could only judge by the condition of the wound. She was dismissive about any complain and didn't inform me about how to proceed with any complaint or took it seriously. I was so relieved to know that I can be dismissed one day earlier than anticipated after I lost any hope to have any decent, human , polite , friendly or at least below average experience. For god I couldn't even get a drink when I wanted one as the tea " is finished". I was treated really poorly perhaps because I am a foreigner with limited German language ability. The two stars are for the receptionist, the " Aufnahme" , the sweet cleaning lady, the night shift nurses and the nurse who trained me to use the crutches.

I went to the emergency room because of Corona. The first thing they said to me was that I should take home remedies and rest in bed at home. The rescue center was full of 80 year olds who probably also had COVID. The smart nurse then wanted to tell me what I was taking should be on medication. Thank God I have been in the job for 22 years and know what I have to do. In the end there was an ISO room for me with the statement that if I wanted to stay I would have to wait for the first treatment RR was measured and SPQ2 and neither painkillers nor blood were taken from me. After waiting for 3 hours without anyone checking on me, I just left and no one even noticed after another 3 hours. The hospital then called me. I have never experienced such miserable treatment and unfriendly staff.

(Translated by Google) Horrible. There is chaos in this hospital. From sleeping receptionist to snappy nursing staff, everything was there. Only in the intensive care unit was there a nurse who likes to do her job. The bottom line of this facility seemed to me as if the employees here had a hard time dealing with the events of F. von Weizsäcker internally. In this case, I advise you to extend supervision. Furthermore, one would think that the insurer of the facility should have a hard time anyway. So why is there no response to my request to the nursing staff to remove the wheelchairs and walkers in the stairwell? Does the Schlosspark Clinic have no equipment rooms? The next day, the wheelchairs were again unchanged in the escape route! So I wasn't just lied to. The clinic also acted negligently. For the insurance company that looks after the hospital, I took photos (hopefully not literally) just in case. Perhaps the clinic management would like to take a tour of the staircases. Find the bug ... Overall, very dubious hospital. PS .: If the bed is broken, replace it, have it repaired and then put it back into operation. Without being asked! (Just another tip to the insurer.) Worst clinic. Worse than AVK. (Original) Grauenvoll. Unaufgefordert! (Nur ein weiterer Hinweis an den Versicherer.) Schlechteste Klinik. Schlechter als AVK.

Totally Unprofessional team. The doctors made me wait for 4 hours without check up and after 4 hours they said to wait more and didn’t even know for how long. If in emergency you want to wait up to whole day then God Help you go to anywhere else but not this hospital. I left without getting checkup up.

(Translated by Google) I was in the clinic for 6 days in September. It seemed to me that no doctor knows what the other one is doing. When gastroscopy, I probably beat the doctor under anesthetic. As a result, I was given so much propofol that the doctors themselves became sick. That's what the sisters told me. Then one wonders why the treatment will not stop sooner, before I make one on Michael Jackson ... at the final visit then came the senior physician Prof. Weizsäcker (may he rest in peace) and then said that they have not found it and if I feel sick next time, I should take a hot shower and therefore not come to the rescue station ... which I just looked at him and said that I was instructed by my doctor ... then I wondered if he ever my file had or knows what he is talking about. I can only agree with the others about the food. Not really tasty and carrots every day. And if you already hire foreign nurses, then please make sure that they, the patient and especially the medication administration understand. A patient in my room had to get different drops for the eyes and had a plan on the table. The nurse understood neither the plan nor us patients, whereupon we had to call for another nurse. My conclusion ... never again in this clinic! But everyone makes their own experiences. One runs well, but unfortunately not the other.

(Translated by Google) I had to forgive a star !!! Yesterday, I was with my wife in the emergency department of the Schlossparkklinik, on suspicion of a herniated disc or similar, we have deliberately decided for this clinic and taken a longer journey in purchasing. As it turned out, a mistake, my wife took with the same pain as I brought her, in the bag a few tablets for the night. Pain drip, etc. No indication. Diagnosis was acute Lumbolischialgie, LWS pain left-sided, after false lifting, which now for the first time "everything" can be. Finally, an X-ray was taken, for whatever reason, whatever you wanted to see there, a herniated disc where rather not. Result: no signs of a fresh fracture, discharge accompanied by the husband. Fraktur was never mentioned, no fall or something similar. Among other things, a further diagnostic by means of MRI is recommended. The whole pointless fun took well over 2 hours, it was not full, plus travel time was similar long. On the question of a pain on the spot, or before the dismissal was refused with the statement, my wife could take a few more Novalmintropfen, would be just as good as a pain, ridiculous .... After no one brought the drops, we left after another 15 minutes. The overall condition was greasy / dirty, sitting in this waiting room, if you want to sit down, is an impertinence. Never again....

(Translated by Google) The psychiatric department is in a mess, even though the department has moved into a nice new building! I give a point for the very nice nursing staff who always make an effort and also listen to the relatives and talk to them and take their time !!!! The doctors there (if you can even call them doctors!) Are only there to drink coffee and take a break! As a family member you are totally let down, I asked for an urgent conversation ... Waited almost three days for the call !!! After several inquiries on the phone and from the patient, I would finally be called! Just how people talked to me on the phone is in my opinion unjustifiable for a trained and supposedly qualified doctor! I was simply interrupted in the middle of the sentences and could barely convey my request, it was answered swiftly after I announced my request! To my worries and wishes for the future I would only be answered: "It is my opinion as a qualified doctor and I have got to know the patient for a week now ..." I have been living with the patient all my life and it is almost everyone Year that the psychotic episodes come through and nobody cares how the person REALLY is in life without medication! The main thing is that they participate in the clinic and what happens after that, the relatives have to pay for it! In response to my experiences with the patient that the medication was simply discontinued at will and the patient was refused any treatment, I was answered that the clinic is very good at taking it and that the medication is always taken and that the experience is irrelevant in the doctor's opinion !! After 10 minutes of strenuous phone calls I wanted to have an appointment with the senior doctor, because I was simply strangled because the doctor supposedly had no more time to phone !!! I hope from the previous ones and my rating (s) would change something in staff! I know it is not easy to work in psychiatry, but you can at least listen to the relatives who really care about their family members and involve them in therapy!

Very friendly staff in the emergency room despite the stress. Even on ward (1a) there were only friendly faces, care was impeccable. My operation went well and all the conversations surrounding it were easy to understand. The food was good and plentiful. The missing star goes to the impossible bed - if you haven't had back pain yet, you'll get it here. Mattress too thin, making it very hard to lie on, the pillow without support for the head and neck. And despite repeated requests, social services only arrived an hour before discharge, so subsequent support was unfortunately very delayed.

My entry is for Neurology 1B I have never felt so uncomfortable, misunderstood and ignored as I did in the Schlosspark Clinic, Neurology. Like everyone else, we went through the emergency room, I sat there for 5 hours because no nurse bothered to pick me up. I would have gone myself, there was a free bed. Unfortunately that didn't work. In any case, I was put in a 4-person room, old-fashioned at that time. This is where the dilemma began. Early in the morning the nurses, doctors came and took care of everyone except me. I was told I was getting an MRI. Unfortunately no one told me, so I got 5! I waited another few days for it. The day after next you were completely ignored. Actually, it's usual early in the morning for the staff to take your blood pressure, temperature, etc. This didn't happen. What happened due to poor hygiene: the four of us got Corona. Ie I was quarantined. I wasn't allowed to leave the room for the whole 6 days. In any case, I didn't get any help. And there were no tips on what to do next, how I could be helped, or who I could turn to. The only answer is “we don’t see anything”… but they don’t care that they still suffer from my symptoms. In the end it was just “when are you leaving?” We have to clean the room specially”

I was just removing the screws from Dr. Salich. He explained everything to me very well before and after and listened. He is a very good surgeon who can find a solution for even the most complicated cases. But the stay in the hospital was also perfect. Although I am a statutory health insurance patient, I felt like a private patient. Thanks to the staff from station 2g, but also 1b from last year. You are great. Many thanks to the entire team from admission, outpatient clinic, on the ward and of course to Dr. Salich.

The entire stay was very positive, from the friendliness of the staff to the competence of the medical staff. I am moving towards recovery with good cheer. There are real luminaries here in the field of rheumatology. After two years of mistreatment by my orthopedic surgeons, I was finally able to receive a correct diagnosis/treatment. Thank you dear team.

Despite the enormous workload, the nursing staff took care of him. Our special thanks go to Mr. Esref. As a doctor (my husband and I) you have already experienced a lot in your professional life. Now the Schlosspark Clinic is my favorite clinic. I had surgery on April 14, 2023. Doctors from the endoscopy and surgery departments literally saved my life. The staff is very polite and professional. Thanks a thousand times 💖💖💖

I was at the clinic with my wife and every single nurse, doctor, security and receptionist that talked to me were patient, kind and nice. Although I don't speak German, everyone was willing to explain things in English. Special thanks to a nurse and a doctor both called Julius who were extremely kind to us and treated us like real human beings. I'm full of gratitude to everyone in this hospital. Thank you 🙏🏻

The doctors are good. The other personalities and the Organisation of recovery after the surgery were awful.

Absolutely recommendable clinic, nice staff who pay attention to the needs of the patients. The food is really good and sufficient. A whole range of activities are on offer. The medical care is also top. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant incident with a nurse, but this is an isolated case and in response to my complaint, the team immediately worked to ensure that the case was dealt with and that something like this did not happen again. In response to my complaint, I received a response from complaint management within a few hours, and that was a big compliment. Also a big compliment to the head nurse Ricardo and his team who take very good care of the patients on the ward where I was. I've been here for 2 weeks now and feel completely taken care of.

(Translated by Google) I was admitted on 20.08.2919 via RTW to the emergency room. There, everyone was totally friendly and they dealt extensively and very conscientiously with me. Thanks to the great and very competent neurologist Fr.A. Schotenröhr I got a quick and accurate diagnosis and was allowed to leave the clinic with a self-treatment exercise manual against rotary vertigo. I was relieved, because I have to add that 1 week ago I was 4 days in a hospital in another clinic. There was not a single doctor in a position to make a reliable diagnosis, which has me very unsettled. Thanks to the nice doctor, I'm fine now and I would like to thank her and the nice team in the emergency room. Many greetings. Peter Voss

Best hospital experience I've had - everyone was so lovely and compassionate. After a previous trauma in a hospital, I was very nervous about having an operation but the anaesthetic team were amazing, they calmed me down so much and really took care of me, it was such a healing experience. And the nurses on the station were so friendly and attentive. Thanks to everyone at the Schlosspark-Klinik team!

(Translated by Google) I came to the lock park clinic via the emergency room and had to stay there for a few days at the neurological ward. Very competent doctors, very helpful and friendly staff. I am very happy that I landed there and was finally helped. The necessary examinations were made, the diagnosis was made in the shortest possible time, drug therapy was initiated, as were ergo-and physiotherapy for improvement. The only drawback was the 4 bed room, but you also in purchase, as long as one helped. I would like to express my sincere thanks, especially to the nurses and nurses of Station 1b! THANK YOU! ? X-ray: The old lady who works in X-ray there felt it necessary to complain to the two doctors about my nipple piercings and claim that I was faking my cough. Oh well, this goes to the lady: you can breastfeed well with nipple piercings, let a midwife tell you that. Talking about patients like that is a disgrace to me!

My mom had an operation there in July 2022 for a severe cerebral hemorrhage and was then in the intensive care unit for 4 weeks. She can now do almost everything she could before, it's really a miracle what the staff have achieved. Me and my siblings were also always taken into consideration. Thank you for everything.

I was there on February 8th, had an appointment at 9:25 a.m., I had to wait 1.5 hours until an X-ray was finally taken in 5 minutes. Completely disorganized, ALL customers had to wait at least an hour and a half before being treated, some even two and a half hours, even though they all had a reservation. Never again!

I had the best experience here in my worst situation. No doubt I will again choose this facility in the future if needed. Every single person was sympathetic, compassionate, experienced and very much foreigner friendly. Everyone spoke English with me and treated me very well. I am sincerely grateful to all of them. Thank you very much.
