I have too often experienced no functioning water fountain, weeks on end of a not functioning steam room, unfriendly staff members (especially the male staff), a broken shower in the men’s shower for over 2 months, unfilled shampoo and shower gel, not enough towels for the members. Yes, there are all relatively surface issues, but for a premium fitness club, the members pay for a premium experience. This is nothing more than a more expensive Super Fit.

I believe this just shifts the issue to the consumers with even more in efficiency. We visited this place for the sauna, using our UrbanSports account. This day sauna did not work. I have only used this gym to train in the machines so that's all I can comment on. I do hope to participate of a class one day and have more to talk about. First, their lockers have a code system that I particularly like. I don't enjoy having to carry a lock and the system is very easy to use. It's on you to remember 4 digits, it's not that hard. Save them on your phone if you can't remember that. The machines are generally nice and well maintained but that training part of the gym is indeed quite small. If you go during peak times, it's guaranteed you have to wait, as they don't have more than one machine per exercise (besides cardio). Even the cardio machines can be all occupied, especially the treadmills. They have people from the pool or the sauna walking around in towels while you're training, and I find that a little weird. In the changing rooms, that also means people dripping water next to you. Not very pleasant, but okay. I may still check their swimming pool out so I can't complain too much :)

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!I have signed up for a 2 years contract, I trained there for a 1 year and 6 months, I got injured but I kept my membership as I thought I could use the sauna and the swimming pool, then I had to relocate to Brandenburg, so I contacted them to inform them that I can't come to the facilities any longer as it became to far for me andsent them a copy of my new house registration and a copy of my doctor's note stating that I should not train for a long period, but then they said that I'm now living 20km away and the minimum distance should be 30 km and that I should provide them with a detailed doctor's note that explains my case exactly. I have obviously checked with a legal consultant and they don't have the right to do that , and I have blocked any payment toward them. Now they are threatening me that they will send my case to a collection agency. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. I feel like most of the reviews here are fairly outdated. I think the studio was quite nice a while ago, but at the moment most of the facilities don't work. The men changing room has just two out of four showers working, for months now. I tried to lock 9 lockers to day before I found one that worked, just because a huy leaving left it for me. There is no direct way from the man's changing room or the sauna to the relaxation room and the swimming pool. So you have to walk right between all the people that train either half naked, from the sauna, or half wet, after swimming. All in all for me it doesn't life up to the premium studio reputation.

Used a day pass at this gym. I wasn’t sure if the fly machine needed some maintenance. The gym is rather small and very busy and it was irritating to work out. The lockers use a code system I found inconvenient. I input a wrong code. When I asked for assistance, the man I asked, a Kurdish looking man, (don’t know his name) told me to wait and then asked about my experience and talked to me about personal training plans. He mentioned before that he could make me an offer to switch gyms. No one came after a while and I asked when someone was. Instead of directly opening my locker he had taken my time and tried to sell me to Holmes Place. After this, he tried several to open my locker times. It was my first time at this gym so I opened a locker close to mine. He refused to open another locker till I remembered a code I did not know. After a brief round of tries I politely insisted I had to leave. He then proceeded to open another locker (my locker) and I took my things away. I left and wanted to be polite and said thanks, goodbye and he literally stared at me and refused to say anything. So, wonderful almost equipped gym Holmes place and even better customer service!! This place certainly is focused on being esthetically pleasing as it is well decorated and organized. I got a good workout in, but be ware that the free weights they have didn’t go being 29kg. I asked for a day pass and they said typically 25 euros which is the only reason I gave this place four stars (that’s a little high). They have a pool and another amenities so bring your swim wear as well!

Well maintained gym with automated lockers. Not all equipment is open due to Corona but most of the essentials are available for use. Went there in the morning it was less crowded then.

I would actually give 4,5 stars. Friedly and helpful staff at the reception. The studio itself is small and nice, but one cross-trainer isn't functioning for already half a year or so. Would be great if you replace it with a new machine.

Small gym, kinda crowded, weird layout (to swim, if you are a man, you have to wear swimwear through the main gym), 2 of the 4 men's showers were not working, steam bath not working.

Holmes Place in Charlottenburg is a great place to workout or attend classes. The teachers and the staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. The sauna is also a plus. Love coming here! :)

The staff are very supportive. The only problem is that the gym gets crowded when there are many people. If not the facility and equipment are great and of great quality.

The staff is so amazing and Daniel especially was so kind to me. Also, the venue is spectacular and features a pool.

Last year Dec, I had a bad experience with a serious issue which was a mess. However, the store manager was very responsible and handled it with care. Eventually , we settled the dispute. I’m very grateful. In sum , I still enjoy this gym very much as the amenities and gym class are great.

I recommend 100% Holmes Place Charlottenburg! Friendly staff - Great equipment - Sauna & Hamam very cleaned - Never too crowded. All you need to train and relax properly.

Rather small gym, not fully equipped as many other gyms. Sauna/spa area probably the smallest of all Holmes Places. There is a steam sauna and dry sauna (both working), but no place to chill. To reach the pool you have to go through the gym. Pool area is nice and relaxing. Staff is very friendly.

Good clean gym, pool and sauna. 3* because of the men shower area. Two showers only and no repairs done for more than a year since I have joined.

This place has the BEST female sauna in Berlin. They even let me in for free once because it was empty and it was the holidays. They won my heart enough for me to get a membership but I had to pause that because budget reasons and also because I think doing too much Sauna gave me an ear infection haha. May return/resume membership soon

Medium sized, good weight area but can get busy. Very quiet on weekends. Boxing bags too which is great (not usable when a class is on). The sauna area is ok, gets the job done. Shared showers very small - often one at a time. Easy transport and friendly staff. Also clean too. Would give it 4.5 star but not able to - only the changing room, shared showers and layout stop from a 5 star.

The gym is one of the best I have visited in Berlin! The equipment are nice and clean, the staff are friendly and good at answering questions or finding out more about the facilities. Sauna and pool are a big plus.

It’s ok gym. Nice interior, good selection of equipment. But it’s crowded, dirty with some construction on site and pretty dirty. And there is no drinking fountains.

I went for the Full Body workout on Monday. It was really good. The Sauna was a plus, especially on a cold day. The staff was also very friendly. All in all it was a top experience. I'd recommend it.

The place is nice and clean, but a little bit crowded and sometimes you should wait for some equipment until it gets free. The stuff is not very friendly and I got kind of a feeling, that they wanted to get rid of the questions.

Honest opinion, this GYM is overrated and hence overpriced. The only thing different is the pool and the sauna, whichbis a great thing if you are into it and of course that adds value, but as a gym per se, even mcfit was better.

- Watering in the sauna is not permitted between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. daily. The reason is overheating!? - The water in the pool is too cold - To get into the pool as a man you have to go through the gym

Great gym, great atmosphere, good service and amenities! just that as a member in Hamburg you can't enter for free in Berlin seems quite restrictive for the price. 17€ is quite a lot for one admission as a member!

Nice, bright studio! Nice trainers, relaxed people. Great functional and free weight training area. Lots of cardio equipment, all with a view of Bismarckstr. Large 90 degree sauna and steam sauna, as well as infrared sauna in the quiet relaxation area. 18 meter pool… not the largest Holmes Place in Berlin, but small and nice!

I really like the studio and the sport there. I've often had problems with the sauna, but this morning everything was different. The young employee was extremely motivated and interested in the customers. He solved my problem very elegantly and I noticed that he took me and my problem seriously. Just as a tip, this is extremely important to every customer. In any case, he consulted with me several times and was super friendly. Yes, I have to say, that made my Holmes visit 100% ;). This is how I like to start the day and now go to work.
