The worst shopping experience. Specially the workers in the ground floor(the shoes department) are so unfriendly and unprofessional, they are just walking around and gossiping with the other employees and when you ask them for help they feel annoyed.I don’t understand why they are even there?! This kind of service and staff is taking Galeria Kaufhof down

Big department store with a large selection of brands. One of its hidden gem is its bar/restaurant. With its view (find a window seat!) on the Alexanderplatz it’s an ideal place to rest and recharge your (personal) batteries.

This is a multi-level shopping center with a cafe on the top floor. You can use elevators or escalators to get from one floor to another. We spent a lot of time looking at everything, and even decided to eat lunch at the cafe. There are a lot of different food choices with a buffet layout. This center seems very popular with the locals amd we really enjoyed our shopping experience.

Galaria Berlin is a multi-level shopping center that offers a diverse range of options. It felt unreasonable to ask customers who have spent a significant amount in the mall and used the restaurant to pay an additional 0.50 euro in cash to use the toilet. A more customer-friendly approach, especially for credit card users, would greatly enhance the overall experience. Despite this issue, Galaria Berlin offers a great selection of mid to high-level brands, friendly services, and a clean and bright atmosphere. The interior and architectural design are also worth exploring. It truly is a one-stop-shop for all your beauty and fashion needs. In conclusion, while Galaria Berlin provides a vibrant shopping experience with excellent organization and a wide range of choices, the restroom policy should be reconsidered to ensure a more customer-friendly approach.

The department store is located right next to Alexanderplatz station. It's a nice store with a wide variety of goods and some seating areas as well. The food court upstairs appears to have been recently renovated.

Went there this afternoon (17.11) to purchase a perfume as I usually do. However I did not like my experience at the checkout point at all this time. There were five employees there, chatting and completely ignoring me and I was the only customer waiting to pay. Two of them made eye contact but decided to continue chatting with their colleagues. There was no sign to indicate that the cash desk was closed and a few moments later, I asked if I could pay. One of them reluctantly obliged, without a greeting. No ' Hallo,' no 'Danke,' no 'schönen Tag.' Just a straight, bothered, unfriendly face. I have been a regular, loyal customer for over 5 years and I have never had such a hostile experience and I'm absolutely disappointed.

I normally did not shop in Galeria Kaufhof at Alexander Platz. I moved to the Eastside of Berlin a few years ago. I shopped in City West, mainly the department stores KaDeWe and Peek and Cloppenberg. This year because of the lockdown I stayed local, by Berlin terms, in my kiez. I found myself venturing to Galeries Kaufhaus more and more for items. Surprising, I liked it a lot. The service is actual very good. I bought Christmas Gifts in the store this year. The people at the cosmetic counters were fantastic. They even helped me get a customer card. The supermarket is well stocked with high quality foods. Clothing selection is affordable to semi-luxurry. But even this department had engaging service. The housewares section is equally good. Limited staff, big mass due to construction, slow service and not kind

There are more things to see inside of here, but I'm showing some of things that for me were more memorable. First of all, the first floor is accessories, perfumes, makeup and the best chocolate you can try, all kinds of chocolate here. The second floor is women's clothes, the third floor is men's clothes and the fourth floor is house and bathroom articles. Most of the brands sold here are too brands so be aware of the prices, not cheap, but they seem very high quality.

Large store on the square in Alexanderplatz with a wide selection of goods. Prices for all budgets. Love the diversity in mannequins! Representation matters 😍 Stock well displayed, with attention to detail. There is a coffee shop, seating scattered throughout. Closed on Sundays. Handbags to suitcases. Chocolate, perfume, cosmetics, clothing range of brands, shoes, lego, toys...

A proper store with loads of A brands. Much nicer than Alexa. Staff also very helpful

An sich ein guter Ort, an dem man alles fast findet, was das Herz begehrt. Allerdings war mein letzter Besuch relativ verstörend. Die Verkäuferin in der Unterwäscheabteilung war sehr motiviert, hat mir ungefragt an die Taille gefasst, um meinen Umfang heraus zu finden, 4 mal extrem lauft herumgerufen, was ich für große Brüste habe (danke, das hab ich gar nicht gewusst..), hat mir ungefragt Modelle rausgesucht, die ich gar nicht haben wollte und hat mich verfolgt, obwohl ich nie nach Hilfe gefragt hatte und ihr auch gesagt habe, ich würde gern allein schauen..habe zunächst versucht es mit Humor zu überspielen, bin dann aber doch recht unangenehm berührt wieder gegangen.

They don’t accept changing product bought the day before if you’ve opened the package, even if package and product is in perfect condition. Had to stand around for 15 min while a grown man played with (“tested”) the toy in question, just to be told they won’t exchange it because they don’t have any plastic cord to repackage it. All of this time wasted instead of just upselling us on a different item. Why argue with customers when they just want to buy something different? Why waste 15 min inspecting a 17 euro toy? They could’ve easily sold us another more expensive toy instead if they just knew how to treat customers. Us coming back was an opportunity to sell us more, not a threat to the measly 17 euro revenue the day before. Complete incompetence on how customer sales work. One bad experience can scare away a customer forever. Congratulations.

A one stop shopping department store with a supermarket, bakery and food court in the basement. They carry many high end brands and provide excellent customer service. Great selection of Nespresso on the fourth floor.

You can find many top notch brands here for perfumes, bags, cosmetics and clothes. Whenever I enter it, I never come out without buying something because they have a good amount of variety for all categories. I love this place.

I was so excited to buy some STULPEN but I couldn’t find them anywhere. Besides that the employees weren’t any big help either. I’m VERY upset that I won’t have a Christmas gift this year..😔😔 0/10 wouldn’t recommend…😔😔😔🤲🏻

A great shopping place. The top floor has food options that you can put in a plate and simply pay for the weight of the food plate.

Can't believe I've not reviewed this before. Google giving me a nudge. It's a great store. Less poncey than KaDeWe, and easier to shop to be honest. Fewer designer brands, and frankly all the better for that. Loses a star though because they have got rid of the food hall downstairs on the ground floor. That is a massive shame as it was truly excellent.

I had to pay at 3 different check outs because the discount was not right in the tills. Than my bill was not right and I had to wait 30min because the lady that I had paid with was on break. 🤬 please organise your sale better.. I eventually got my money back but this is not the way to do it

I bought me a grey suit with a tie. I was assisted by a friendly employee from the Senegal, whose name was Sheikh. He spoke good English and German. I was also issued a customer card, which helped me get percentages for the suit and at the Lego section where I bought for my 15 year old daughter a gift there.

Good shopping mall big and tidy, many many things to shop and dine. I gave two stars because I intended to buy a large size suitcase which make in Germany, the saleswoman was helpful try to find me the new one. The communication was broken down between the staff and gave me the medium size, I told the staff I prefer the large one but he told me out of stock only had display left and it is the new one. I am very queries how can he say that the display product is the new one. For example, if anyone will willing to pay a full price for a demo car, display furniture and electrical products....etc. I am the first time vist Germany, maybe the brand new definition between our country is different. At last if next time I will be here, I will going to shopping here again.

Absolute worst experience esp at YSL counter. They need to pick staff that knows to respect and interact with a diverse and multicultural clientele. Otherwise there are better places to shop the same products from

Beliebte Shopping-Mall mit vielen Marken für Mode, Freizeit und Haushalt. Direkt am Bahnhof gelegen, befindet findet sich das Kaufhaus neben dem park Inn - Hotel, am Alexanderplatz.

Racist behaviour. My boyfriends who is a POC got treated very unfriendly while all the other costumers who were white got treated very friendly. I waited a bit because I wanted to see how the Other POCs got treated and they were also unfriendly towards them…..

Wide variety of different types of items, from clothing, cosmetics, handbags to household and kitchen ware as well as toys. There is also a food hall with multiple eating options. To top it all off there is an easily accessible underground parking. Prices are in the upper middle range. We were lucky enough to benefit from 30% off on all clothing items that day.

Eigentlich ein super Kaufhaus und man bekommt tatsächlich fast alles was man benötigt. Jedoch funktioniert seit Monaten nur ein Aufzug und dieser fährt nichtmal bis in die oberste Etage (Restaurant& Toilette).Das ist für Menschen die auf barrierefrei angewiesen sind echt anstrengend. Teilweise muss man extrem lange anstehen um mitfahren zu können.

I was here a few years ago and remember an exceptional consulting by an employee at MAC. Now, after 2-3 years I was lucky to be consulted by Claudia again. She’s the most honest, direct and efficient consultant I have ever met. I hope she is well valued by MAC and Kaufhof. I hope to meet you the next time when I run out of my Makeup, Claudia :).

21 Cº outside... and 25 inside, no air flow, no oxigen exchange, it's simply too HOT! How clients are supposed to spent more than 10 minutes (and buy nothing) inside such a big anthill? The pandemic didn't teach nothing about air quality? A very bad calling card for the city of Berlin.

The place has a good diversity of brands across all the floors. Currently there are constructions happening, so some of the floors (in particular the ground one) is partially closed. Most of the food and grocery area is just not there at the moment.

#30 percent discount for selected objects including shoes. #Sport wears are not available in every Size..! #Some workers there were very helpful others have answered only with (Nein=No)!!

We went to this department store on our trip to Berlin. This shop got a lot of different brands and the possibility to buy whatever you want. From clothes to toys for the children. The employees are very friendly.

Horrible service. I wanted to get a ball point and asked the sales woman for some information and advice. She had a very lazy attitude and wasn’t helpful at all.

You can find almost anything from Suite to Toys. Also very high quality products like jewelry. The Staff ist always very kind and helpful. And it has a classy interour, combined with a foodcourt...what else do we need

My wife loved this store but found the footwear very expensive. She did buy 2 reasonably priced blouses while I had a wee seat.

Food fine. . But staff rude at cook station and cash Till . Beware of buffet breakfast after 11 as they do not refill when gone . but happy to take your money for it

My visit was very positive and spent quite a bit of money. It changed when I needed the toilet, not apparently run by the store. But in their building near their restaurant. I didn't have any change and certainly not used to this procedure to use the toilet. The lady was the rudest lady had me in tears. Shouted at me threw change down and insisted apon me paying. I did but the attitude is do wrong. Put me off the whole department store.

Worst experience ever for online orders. My order was made 9 calender days ago and i never received any updates and it was not delivered. I have tried to reach customer service a lot for update and i haven't received my order yet.

Very nice Barbie and Steffi selection. I am a huge Barbie fan and find her hard to find in Berlin. Smyths and Paradies have only a few dolls, if at all. Galeria has a very nice selection of current dolls - while other stores get them a season behind - and carry very hard to find fashion collections. The whole toy department is well organized and stocked. It felt like a luxury shopping experience without a luxury price markup. The same doll found at TK Maxx is barely less expensive than Galeria (€27 vs €30) but I don't have to search through chaotic shelves for an un-crushed box. I was incredibly pleased with the accessories I found today and will be shopping for more soon.

Rude and unpleasant service, the lady from rituals forces you to buy a product that should be a tester claiming that the seal has been broken, how can you be so incompetent and put out a few bottles when there is only one tester as you claimed after time. before she waved her hands like a mute I do not recommend.

I love all Karstadt locations. Wonderful makeup counters downstairs, and many items to choose from. They have downsized a bit, and that is my only "complaint" there is no more gourmet food/grocery section at all, but it is still a nice place to shop. I am a loyal customer and I love the store. Upscale shopping experience. It has a wide variety of branded clothes. On the 5th floor they have products that are on sale. Good place to buy stuff when you are visiting your hometown. From confectionaries to cosmetics to multi color stockings you will find everything.

really need to work on customer service.. cashier was simply mad at me while i just wanted to make sure every items is scanned. what is wrong with her? or is it galeria not treating staffs well??
