Gestern, Sonntag, 10.09.2023 war ich mit einem Freund spontan Frühstücken. Was mich begeistert hat war, die grosse Auswahl, leckeres Essen und der Schnelle und gute Service. Komme gerne wieder 👋

The younger male employee is extremely rude. He needs to learn his manners before getting behind that register. I was being nice when I tried to speak German. But he just took advantage of the situation and started jabbering to cloud the issue. He didn't give me the change and I thought he would bring it to my table. But when I went back to ask for it, I had to deal with rolled eyes and rage, which is totally uncalled for, because he could have called his boss and we could all sit down and watch the footage to see who was trying to POCKET two euros. He is the biggest liar I have ever seen.

Amazing cozy place for breakfast!!! Great food , reasonable prices and great service. I like it much more than fancy places for breakfast where u need to wait half hour to get an table and u pay 15 euro for scrambled eggs . Here we have ordered scrambled egg 🍳 with cheese and pancakes 🥞. Both dishes were amazing and came really fast . This is really lovely place and I fully recommend it ❤️

Nice for breakfast, I like the coffee the last weeks, seems to be of better quality. They brought in a huge white piano that takes up a lot of space. I wish someone played it. The decoration upstairs is also much better

Mein Lieblingscafé in Berlin mitten im queeren Berlin-Schöneberger Kiez 🏳️‍🌈 . Bei schönem Wetter sitzt man draußen und genießt das bunte Treiben vor der Nase. Wechselnder Mittagstisch und wechselnde Abendkarte, meist regionale und saisonale Gerichte. Sehenswert sind die diversen Bilderausstellungen an den Wänden, die allein schon einen Besuch wert sind. Bei leckerem Kuchen und/oder gutem Essen mit diesem Ambiente einfach einmalig.

Gemütlich, urig und nett. Das Eis und das Tiramisu konnten wir bei live Musik geniessen und entspannen.

Seit ich denken kann hat sich hier nicht viel verändert auf den ersten Blick. Entweder bin ich voluminöser geworden oder die Tische stehen enger als früher? Heute an einem Sonntag Mittag sehr voll und auch laut durch die direkt daneben sitzenden Nachbarn. Frühstück findet man immer was für jeden Geschmack. Ich weis nicht warum aber ich geh immer gern hier her. Bessert noch als das Frühstück sind die Torten und Kuchen.

Richtig gemütliches Café am Nollendorfplatz. Bei schönem Wetter kann man draußen sitzen und auch Innen ist es sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man verweilt gern bei einer leckeren Tasse Café.

Nachdem ich die Aufsteller mit den tollen Angeboten gesehen habe, habe ich voller Vorfreude dieses Café betreten. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein altes, gemütliches Berliner Café. Meine Freundin hat den Maronen-Nuss-Braten und ich das Hirschgulasch bestellt. Obwohl der Braten vegan war, schmeckte er wie Leber, sehr würzig und vor allem lecker. Der Gulasch dagegen war sehr sauer und bestand nur aus 5 - 6 Stück Fleisch. Im Rotkohl war m. E. zu viel Anis, während die Spätzle nicht nur nicht wie Spätzle aussahen, sondern auch nicht danach schmeckten. Selbst meine Freundin war meiner Meinung. Unsere Ingwertees würden wir ebenfalls nicht empfehlen. Der Ingwer war zwar frisch, doch ohne Geschmack und kein bißchen scharf. Zudem kam, dass die Tische winzig waren. Hätten wir uns noch einen Salat dazu bestellt, so wäre gar kein Platz dafür auf dem Tisch gewesen. Ich war insgesamt nicht beeindruckt gewesen.

⭐One for the food and the history⭐ I ordered the 'Vegan's Delight', and was well surprised with a great selection of salads, dips and sauces to compliment three different types of German bread. Together, this was very filling and flavourful, although more on the expensive side. Unfortunately there weren't many vegan options, although they clearly do cater to this lifestyle. The service was prompt although at times I felt the waiter was a bit cold and abrupt with us. A cafe with great history with the LGBTQ+ community which can almost be felt within the walls.

Accessible for handicap, nice and friendly staff and great tarts to try. You don't pay the cheapest price for a slice, but surely big and delicious. The only disadvantage is that toilets are on the upper floor. The drinks are affordable and variated. On nice weather conditions you should sit outside and enjoy the vibrant diversity of people walking by. Luckily this place is very LGBT minded, therefore my favourite Caffe in Berlin for many, many years.

We had a nice drink with vegan ice cream outside at Café Berio, & enjoyed the rainbow flags everywhere :)

The cappuccino was not good and when we told the waiter if it’s instant coffee he insisted it’s espresso but it tasted so bad like no there’s no coffee in there and when we said so he said you should have said so from the first sip not after you finished half the coffee (though we drank almost 2-3 sips)😁 Honestly he deducted it from the check at the end. The bees and wassbs were too many at the place, felt discomfort but the interior design of the place was really beautiful like the videos.

I have used this restaurant on many an occasion and today I was there with a friend of mine who had the Vegan breakfast, we specifically asked the waiter did any of the components of the breakfast have nuts in them and he said he would check and find out but didn't say anything so we assumed it was okay. One of the dishes, where assuming the one made with peppers, must have had some sort of nut in it because my friend got barely halfway to where we were staying and vomited it all up all over the sidewalk. He's lucky you didn't need to use an EpiPen. Restaurants like this should take allergies seriously they could end up killing someone. We tried calling the restaurant to complain for a times and not once did they pick up the phone which is why I'm leaving this review.

Only one waitress for the whole restaurant. Don’t blame them as the place size is huge and one waitress is not enough. The food was ok but pricy for what it is.

Friendly staff. Tasty food. Feasible vegetarian options. Recommended.

Coffee was watery and they did not treat my comment as a reclamation. We payed 30euros for the 5 of us and dud not even eat any cake or anything. Too expensive.

Amazing strudel! Comes with delicious ice cream. Good customer service and delicious coffee!

When busy, can be a little slow to be served. Breakfast menu is good. They have the Brits covered and also the Berliner's with their iconic uncooked metalball

Great place if you want a coffee and Torte in the evening. And if you're lucky you'll enjoy some live music.

Very cool atmosphere, the waiters are incredibly nice for the Berlin average, the food is good and the coffee too! We went there to have some breakfast and it was a pleasure to sit on the terrace on a sunny Sunday morning of August! I do totally recommend!

Seated but waited for food more than a hr. No service at all

Feb 2024 My favorite dish that I come back here for every year is "Wiener Art"-I ask for the version with potato salad. Always delicious and always the same. I was here 20 years ago... 15... 10... every year I visit with a lot o positive memories...

Love the coffee and cakes, and customer service, a must if you’re in the neighborhood. If you aren’t a fan of smoking, I wouldn’t sit outside as just about everyone sitting at the neighboring tables smoked, but that’s part of Berlin. It’s a cool vibe watching people walk around, while sipping a warm cup of coffee.

The vibe from previous visits had gone a bit. I guess that's Covid and we sat upstairs where not much was going on. The new self-service is a bit strange too. But the breakfast was great!

Great place for a Saturday coffee (or drink) with friends! Best cake selection ever. The vegan cake (se picture) was delicious. And it was without added sugar. Yum :) service is excellent and the place is vibrant.

Nice cosy cafe with lots of seating. Good selection of cakes and tortes as well.

The location of the cafe makes it a nice place to hangout, huge outdoor seating available even in rain. Service was prompt. Some selected of cakes.

bad service. waitresses pretend not to see the customer, you have to wait 15 minutes to place an order, and at least 10 minutes to bring cold coffee.
