Interesting place to visit with kids! It's a bit far from Berlin center by public transit (SBahn, bus then 20-minute walk), but worth it for a day trip. The park is really big, with a zoo section, section with dinosaur statues, various playgrounds, coin-operated rides, an indoor play area, a lake for swimming (no lifeguards), and some restaurant options. We went with two 3.5-year-olds and they had a great time. We were glad we brought our Bollerwagen to pull the kids around, but wooden wagons were also available to rent in the park for 5 EUR. The entrance fee is very reasonable (7 EUR for adults, 3,50 for kids) but we found out that's because they try to upsell you EVERYWHERE. There are coin-operated rides all over, and every kiosk has a ton of cheap dinosaur toys for sale (left out in the open where kids can grab them, of course). But as long as your kids are pretty good about not asking for every little thing you can still have a good time. Some things are worth paying a little extra for, like the "water walking" ride where you go inside huge inflatable barrels and roll around on top of a pool of water. Not cheap (4 EUR per person for 5 minutes), but unique and a lot of fun. The dino park section was well done, with still statues all around. They were life-size and made for impressive vistas. Playgrounds are interspersed around so the little ones can have something to do while enjoying the backdrop. We stopped for lunch at the Asian kiosk nearest the entrance and wished we had waited, as the food quality was poor, and there were much better options further in near the zoo animals. Definitely go in further and find those. We didn't see much of the zoo section because the girls were focused on the dinosaurs, but we did get to pet a very tame deer and saw owls, parrots, and snakes. All in all we were glad we came once but don't feel the need to visit again.

The most impressive thing about this place is the T-Rex in the parking lot. We came here with higher expectations as the majority of reviews were so positive, but we left feeling a bit ripped off. First the positive aspects: - The entry prices are more than fair. €6 per adult, €2.5 for kids between 2 and 6. - the place is huge. Now for the negative aspects: - the place has 0 Covid measures/requirements. No 2G/3G requirements, no proof of a negative Covid test or anything. The only requirement is to wear a mask while using the bathrooms, but otherwise masking is not required. - We might have picked a bad day, but the place was absolutley packed. They cramed as many people as possible inside, making the fact that no tests or masks were required even more worrying. - despite the queue reaching far into the parking lot, for some reason they thought it wasn't necessary to open any of the other two ticket booths. If visiting, it's probably smarter to book a ticket online and use that line instead - For whatever reason it seems like German zoos and parks have no issue with people smoking everywhere. For a park that's filled with mainly children, having adults smoking right next to your kids is rather disgusting. - While the entry price is fair, you have to pay for virtually everything else. Even if it's just 50 cents here or a euro there, these things all add up. - the Dinopark feels like a massive scam. This was probably the most disappointing aspect. There a far and few dinosaurs to be seen and you have to walk ages to get to them, while essentially being surrounded by a glorified petting zoo (where 2/3 of the animals or nowhere to be seen). None of the dinosaurs that we saw had any information posted next to them either. Overall - give this a strong pass. Your far better off shelling out for the slightly pricier tickets for the Tierpark in Berlin and you'll get a safer and more interesting experience.

Great price at entrance and parking. Good theme park! It’s a large park with different entertainments. There are animals you get to pat and feed. A cafe with a lot of toys. Small trains and cars. It costs something little like 50 cents or 1 euro. The entrance is quite good price at 6 euro. Parking costs 1 only. Food there is not expensive at all, quite fair price. Tastes pretty OK. We enjoyed a lot and will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!

We liked it! They did a great job with the dinosaurs! There are so many! And the lake area with the prehistoric octopus and the slide seem really great. There is no shade, so we will save it for a different visit on a less hot day. The deer are other animals are able to roam freely which was nice to see. The bird cage is too small for birds :( But so it is in most zoos and animal parks. It is just to nature. They have a lot of parking, benches and enough restrooms and snacks. The snacks are typical of Berlin and similar places: sausages, French fries, ice cream, sugary drinks, etc. So if you plan to be there the entire day, I suggest to bring a picnic. Of course things could be improved. The number one thing would be to ban smoking on the grounds of the park. There are cigarette butts littering the grounds and beach areas in a lot of spots :( It is a very large place with a diversity of fun things to do for the kids.

Perfect place for any family with children.(all inclusive place) You can spend there a whole day if : - you bring with you a blanket, towel and sunscreen (3 mini beaches are available and children can play there almost unsupervised) - you bring with you fishing tools ( yes, fishing is allowed but dont expect a big catch) - if you wish healthy foods then bring them from home. The usual sweets and ice cream and pommes, stake and other such things you can buy there - bring a lot of 50 and 1 euro coins ( they have many electric toys to play with .. and the best is the 50 cent train ride) - you have also a sort of mini zoo - you have the chance to ride ponies (at certain times only) - no mask required (it s open air so .. all is ok) What else you can find there : - indoor playground - 2x big outdoor spielplatz - of course Dinos, lots of them The entry fee is very fair, actually cheap i might say. PS: the parking costs 1 euro(1 coin only) and you pay it at the end no matter how long you stay there. And they do have enough parking places.

Great park for families. We went with our 7-year-old, and he loved it. Animals to watch and feed, dinosaurs to learn about, and lots of space to just play. There are also some play areas which are fun. On less star because of needing to pay extra for some of the attractions (bumper cars, etc).

Vergleichsweise moderater Eintrittspreis.

Excellent place to spend weekend with children. Big place with lots of fun. Pony ride is interesting feeding animals as well. Dinosaurs figures are amazing. Lots of food places but not too much to choose, chips or sausage different art. We found Flammkuchen near Animal park and it was excellent.

Fantastic place. A true gem for kids and adults. Had great fun here. Not too expensive and easy to have a nice time here. The dinosaurs are a great attraction, but the best part are the deer which you can feed.

We visited while visiting family in Berlin. The park is huge and such a fun way to spend the day. You could spend a whole day here without the kids getting bored. There’s the Dino park, which is very large. Petting zoos with roaming deer, options to swim when the weather is nice, many different food options and much more we didn’t get to see.

Third time around and my son loved every minute of this park. Also quite pocket friendly. Food and snacks stands are available on site, although a bit pricey.

It’s a very good place to visit with kids. The park has different areas where kids can see nicely made life-like dinosaur replicas, a small zoo and farm animals. It also has different play areas for kids and a lake. Prices for food and rides are quite reasonable (not really expensive). Overall a very family-friendly park. You can spend between 3-4 hours, or longer if you wish, walking around.

Great place to spend a full day with kids. There are petting animals, dinosaur theme based park, tasty food stalls, lot of play activities for all kid age groups and a mini golf course.

Great experience for the family and kids. Very affordable, even though you have to pay for everything inside with coins (restrooms, food, drinks, attractions, binoculars, volcano etc). Nonetheless to be able to get up and close to the animals and attractions is awesome. The kids love it. Wish the dinosaur park itself has more trees or shady areas as when we were there, the sun was shining down hot and there was almost nowhere to go and avoid the sunshine. The statues are lovely with great details, prices for food and drinks are affordable. There are also small ponds where the kids can jump in and cool down. We will be back as our son had so much fun and there was still plenty to see.

Werde nochmal wieder kommen. Preis Leistung absolut stimmig.

A surprisingly large zoo and dinosaur park near Oranienburg. The dinosaur statues are true to size, giving a realistic experience for both children and adults. The owners have done a great job creating a nice place for a day trip. A 6€ price for adults is a good deal for what you get.

Very nice park with animals, big dinosaur figures and carousels for kids almost of all ages. Brig coins since most rides are unlocked with 50 cents or 1€. There is also a wending machine für coins. The best food is too be found in the dinosaur area.

It was an amazing experience. We highly recommend it. It's much bigger than in the pictures I've seen here. There are different parts of the park, Dino parc, animals, lake, kids playground. The price is much cheaper than a zoo and are many many animals. I recommend... At least 5 hours.

Part zoo, part fairground/playground, part dino park. It's great for families with kids, but adults alone might be underwhelmed. It's not mindblowing, but we've been there three times for a reason - kids love it. The dino park is actually quite impressive. The rest is 'pretty nice'. Very fair entry price, though. Careful - it's a laaarge space. Little kids will get tired quickly. You can rent a little wagon to help with that (€30 deposit!). On the plus side, even when it's really busy it doesn't feel too crowded.

It was our first time visiting the park. I wish the map would be better placed or explained. The coin Maschine is also in a place where you wouldn't look. We needed to ask staff and got sparky comments about that it is by the entrance. Parking was 2€ but not really good placed to know before you enter.

It's cool theme park to visit. But didn't get a chance to enter the park because it was too crowded. I visited there on a Sunday. To buy tickets there was a long queue. And there were no space for parking as well. So hope to go again on a weekday

The park is very entertaining for kids. The area is pretty big and split in 3 big groups. The first, close to the entrance, is where you have a lot of recreation for kids, like playgrounds and some paid rides. Next there's two big circuits with animals, some that are running free and you can pet them. Finally, there the dinosaur area, with one big and wide circuit. Depending on your pace, you can complete everything in 2 or 3 hours. Overall the kids enjoyed very much and had fun while we were there.

A great place to spend a day with the kids. It's an interesting mix of a petting zoo, some wild animals, a theme park, play areas plus a dinosaur world. It shouldn't really make sense but it does. It's quite big so even when it's busy it still doesn't feel too overwhelming. My only minor complaint is the need to pay when exiting the parking as it can create a bit of a gridlock, they should just include the fee in the ticket.

Everyone living in Berlin should visit this place, once in a summer. So many activities and not so expensive. Try to take coins with you so you can get food for the animals So there are animals, water place for kids to enjoy (free), slides, lot of eating options(ice cream , etc) and lot more. Ticket price is also not expensive and time it open till 1900 is great in summer. If you are going by bus it’s not well connected with Oranienburg. Bus comes after 40 min. That’s the only issue if you are coming from Berlin.

  • 5/5 João A. 2 years ago on Google
Great fun for the family. Reasonable prices. Cool zoo, nice amusement park for the children and impressive real-size dinosaur models. You can buy food for the animals and some of them let themselves be pet.

  • 3/5 Jan K. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place. But feels a bid dated. There is not much going on really. “Just” about 30ish static painted dinosaurs in life size, a huge but underwhelming volcano (where paying one € creates a small puff of stage-fog) and one small animatronic. For the kids there is a playground and a small kids-train (was out of order when we were there) and a shop / exhibition with rocks and other relevant things. But it definitely feels like a place you can discover in a small adventure with some smaller food paths and “hidden” dinos in a small forest section on the edge of the park. There are a lot of deer running around the place where visitors walk as well. Downside is you have to pay for the Zoo that it is part of and actually walk through it to get there. But there is a separate exit to the parking lot directly in the Dinosaur park. Worth a visit if you don’t come with too high expectations and if you want to spend about 2 hours with something more unusual.

Very cool garden with a lot of animals and activities. We tried the zipline game and the kids were really excited about all the animals they saw and feed. Also there's a sand lake for swimming in the garden too with a nice slide. We had good time there and may go back again.
