Interesting
place
to
visit
with
kids!
It's
a
bit
far
from
Berlin
center
by
public
transit
(SBahn,
bus
then
20-minute
walk),
but
worth
it
for
a
day
trip.
The
park
is
really
big,
with
a
zoo
section,
section
with
dinosaur
statues,
various
playgrounds,
coin-operated
rides,
an
indoor
play
area,
a
lake
for
swimming
(no
lifeguards),
and
some
restaurant
options.
We
went
with
two
3.5-year-olds
and
they
had
a
great
time.
We
were
glad
we
brought
our
Bollerwagen
to
pull
the
kids
around,
but
wooden
wagons
were
also
available
to
rent
in
the
park
for
5
EUR.
The
entrance
fee
is
very
reasonable
(7
EUR
for
adults,
3,50
for
kids)
but
we
found
out
that's
because
they
try
to
upsell
you
EVERYWHERE.
There
are
coin-operated
rides
all
over,
and
every
kiosk
has
a
ton
of
cheap
dinosaur
toys
for
sale
(left
out
in
the
open
where
kids
can
grab
them,
of
course).
But
as
long
as
your
kids
are
pretty
good
about
not
asking
for
every
little
thing
you
can
still
have
a
good
time.
Some
things
are
worth
paying
a
little
extra
for,
like
the
"water
walking"
ride
where
you
go
inside
huge
inflatable
barrels
and
roll
around
on
top
of
a
pool
of
water.
Not
cheap
(4
EUR
per
person
for
5
minutes),
but
unique
and
a
lot
of
fun.
The
dino
park
section
was
well
done,
with
still
statues
all
around.
They
were
life-size
and
made
for
impressive
vistas.
Playgrounds
are
interspersed
around
so
the
little
ones
can
have
something
to
do
while
enjoying
the
backdrop.
We
stopped
for
lunch
at
the
Asian
kiosk
nearest
the
entrance
and
wished
we
had
waited,
as
the
food
quality
was
poor,
and
there
were
much
better
options
further
in
near
the
zoo
animals.
Definitely
go
in
further
and
find
those.
We
didn't
see
much
of
the
zoo
section
because
the
girls
were
focused
on
the
dinosaurs,
but
we
did
get
to
pet
a
very
tame
deer
and
saw
owls,
parrots,
and
snakes.
All
in
all
we
were
glad
we
came
once
but
don't
feel
the
need
to
visit
again.
