Unbelievable vegan pizza. Probably the best pizza I had in my life, vegan or not. I'm super picky when it comes to vegan cheese (and usually opt for cheese-free pizza, adding artichokes to give it texture) but I must say theirs is just marvellous. We were 5 people, each tried a different type of pizza and all were absolutely delicious. The staff was super nice, took our order on the curb-side as the restaurant was full and the food was ready within ~30min. If you want to eat there, it is pretty much required to book a table online, 1 or more days in advance. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're a vegan in Berlin, La Stella Nera is an absolute must.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. Everything here is delicious, so definately go there! GO! 😅❤️ Plus: they make all of their items in house, so you won't find better thinly cut flavorful tofu slices or melting stretchy vegan cheese like this anywhere else, just yumm.

I am going to preface this - I am not a vegan, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. TL;DR: Very good pizza place marred by the downsides of vegan cheese. Crust is really great, as is their tomato sauce. Tasted about the same as Zola, which is my favorite pizza place in Berlin. The spicy seitan was quite delicious, but I truly detested the vegan cheese. Maybe it's because I eat real cheese, but I had to remove it from my pizza. The tiramisu was quite enjoyable, which was a pleasant surprise given that like 60% of ingredients by volume need to be replaced to make it vegan.

I’m giving this amazing pizza parlor a 10 out of 10. Being from the east coast USA my bar for great pizza is raised pretty high, this place doesn’t disappoint. Delicious vegan pizza from a big wood fire oven, dutifully tended to by a collective staff who run the place with passion. We had the potato white pie & a pepperoni style pizza with tiramisu for dessert, absolutely phenomenal. Thank you!

Good food ruined by poor service. They blamed me for missing my reservation when really they didn't check their emails when I had requested a change many hours in advance. The staff also ignored us when we were the only table inside when we trying to get their attention for about 10 minutes. Then when we asked for the bill, we had to wait another 10 minutes and had to go to the counter because they didn't come to us and instead chose to serve other tables first. Ruined what was meant to be a nice evening and celebration.

The pizza Diavola was fluffy and tasty (for my taste a bit too spicy which that does not influence the rating). On the other side our pasta we a bit too much oil and the polenta sticks for my taste quite fried. For me as non vegan, the taste of some vegan alternatives (e.g. pizza dough) did not match my expectations. Great 4 out of 5 for me

Mediocre food. We had The polenta fries which were bland , but nice enough. Definitely not worth the price. Pizzas were okay , as well really bland. We had the mushroom - which was disappointing, undercooked mushrooms , bland marinara … just wasn’t nice. such a shame as I’ve put a lot of hope to that one. I’m happy to go and try out something else. As well we had the Diavola- which was slightly better. But personally ,very boring and bland unfortunately. It was however nice as a vegetarian to have a Diavola and something different. Service seemed very tired and overworked , very unwelcoming.

Vegan pizza doesn't get much better than this. It's pizza like you'd expect from any decent (non-vegan) Italian. The dough is amazing and the toppings are super tasteful. The tiramisu sadly was a huge disappointment. Very dry and kind of tasteless. But still, I can't give less than 5 stars for these pizzas.

Lovely food and staff. We visited at a busy time but were offered a table as someone had missed their reservation. For starter we ordered the bruschetta with mushrooms and vegan cheese. It was amazing and could have been a whole meal by itself 😍😍 it came with 4 huge pieces For the main we ordered a pizza with potatoes and onions. Honestly there was a little too many onions for my liking and the flavour was thrown off balance, but all in all still a decent pizza and we finished it off. Was a lot of cheese with the starter/pizza so wouldn't recommend getting two vegan cheese dishes as they really don't skimp out! We got the tiramisu to go and when eaten the next day it was also amazing ❤️ Only missing one star as we weren't given the menu and after 15 mins of waiting had to go up and get it ourselves, the service was also a bit slow but understandable as it was busy

Vegan pizza is hard to get right, but I have been to a number of vegan pizzerias that time and time again surprise me with what they are able to do with a modern take on the Italian classic. I am sad to say that when I left La Stella Near with my pizza, I was disappointed. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very well put together. You could tell that a lot of effort was put in to make the place have a specific ch/ic and vibe. Likewise, the staff was very accommodating to let me order take away and come back later to pick up my pizza. However, when I got to actually eating the pizza, the "cheese" did not taste nearly as good as others I have had and did not combine well with the sauce. Regular pizza would have been tastier. The mock pepperoni slices were convincing and some of the best imitation meat I have had.

Wir waren zu viert am Samstagabend im Restaurant, ist ja sehr schwer einen Tisch zu ergattern - aus gutem Grund! Es war eine hervorragende Erfahrung. Wir hatten die vorzüglichen Polentafritten und ich hatte dann die Diavola - eine meiner Lieblingspizzen, auf die ich aber zunehmend verzichte, weil ich Fleisch reduzieren möchte. Was soll ich dazu sagen - der Käse war mega cremig und vollmundig, die Wurst war kross und scharf-würzig. Das Beste (und das Wichtigste meiner Meinung nach an einer Pizza): der Teig war super fluffig und sehr aromatisch, die Tomatensauce war fruchtig und angenehm gewürzt. Unbedingte Empfehlung, auch für nicht-Veganer:innen! Der Service war angenehm im Hintergrund und sehr freundlich - eine Seltenheit in Berlin!!!

So far, I've tried only their pizza which is truly delicious: Chewy pizza dough (thin in the center, thick crust on the outside) combined with a variety of toppings, ranging from nuts, mushrooms, vegetables, vegan pepperoni, creamy melted cheese to soft ricotta. Flavorful Neapolitan pizza that is baked in a brick oven! The veganized tiramisu, on the other hand, did not remind me of authentic Italian tiramisu with sponge cake and mascarpone cream. It was a dessert made with whipped cream, no sponge cake (overall, the taste reminded me of a marshmallow treat) but it can satisfy sweet cravings nevertheless. Came here at 18:00, everything was already reserved .. and we didn't make a reservation. The sweet owner gave us a place, said we had 1 hour till the next guests came. For us , that was more than enough to eat our pizza and have a drink . Thank you for giving us a spot ! The pizza's were the best vegan food we had so far on our 5 day vegan trip. Had a calzone and a Salami pizza, the vegan cheese melted so nicely and the ricotta in the calzone is so yummy !

Excellent Pizza, the dough is simply amazing. The service was very friendly and the Pizza came fast. We were celebrating a birthday there and the waiters were so kind in letting us bring our own birthday cake and gave us extra plates for it too. Will come again. :)

Easily the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had and so it gets 5*. Had the pumpkin walnut pizza and the toppings were amazing (except perhaps for the cheese) As a normal pizza place I’d give it 4*. The cheese is still clearly vegan cheese and the crust is overly chewy and has a slightly funny flavor.

Truely the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. The restaurant itself is not too cosy, they could do better in decor but the food and staff is amazing. I've been on the hunt for the best vegan pizza since 2018 and I think I officially found it. Jokes aside, I can very much recommend this place. The food came quickly and we got two pizzas plus two non-alcoholic drinks for less than 30€! It tastes like heaven, especially the vegan cheese and the crust. I'm just in awe. Make sure you book a reservation ahead in time, otherwise chances of getting a table are very low. This is a place in very high demand!

We had a few appetizers, a pizza and a pasta dish and everything was lovely. The polenta fries and antipasto were really nice! The vegan cheese they make in-house is way better than any of the store bought stuff. My only critique was the crust was a little to chewy for me but this is really just a personal preference. Absolutely the best Neopolitan vegan pizza you can find in Berlin. If thick and chewy crusts are not your thing, then go elsewhere because the crusts here are THICC and they are to-die-for.
