👍 The food was so good! I've walked through the Hof a few times while they were closed and always wanted to sit there on a nice warm evening, and when I finally did, it didn't disappoint. They have a fairly diverse menu, with enough vegetarian options. Drinks are a bit more expensive than I'm used to,... The food was so good! I've walked through the Hof a few times while they were closed and always wanted to sit there on a nice warm evening, and when I finally did, it didn't disappoint. They have a fairly diverse menu, with enough vegetarian options. Drinks are a bit more expensive than I'm used to, but food prices are reasonable. The sweet potato fries were some of the best I've had, perfectly crispy. Service was a little so-so, I didn't appreciate that they kept asking to clear the table when one of us was still in the middle of eating. Other than that, definitely recommend!

Hidden in one of Berlin's many backyards, this restaurant is actually right on Torstrasse. As I walked in, I noticed a picture of a thunderstorm hanging on the wall above the burgundy leather armchairs. It hung unyieldingly on the wall while the soft parquet slept softly on the floor. The food was in the upper league in international comparison. Service was dignified and friendly. Prices for the location were reasonable.

Situated just off Linienstraße and Torstaße in the heart of Mitte. A large and very atmospheric Vietnamese restaurant with ample seating outside in the courtyard during the months in Berlin that you can eat without freezing and a large comfortable interior ideal for couples and large groups of up to 20. Menu is not massive but does cover all the basics and includes sushi as well as all the traditional Vietnamese dishes. The drinks menu is as large as the food menu and is equally varied. We had the Orange Duck (which was fantastic), sushi, the burger, and wan ton. All were excellent. The service was incredible, bearing in mind it was Valentines Day, and so it was full from 6pm until closing time. Only small complaint was the rather pitiful Ginger Lemonade as this was basically water, 1 small quarter of lime, and some tiny ginger pieces. Not a lemonade and barely on the ginger spectrum! Don't order this one. Not impressed with that one, but to be honest, it didn't really spoil the overall experience as the rest of the evening was so good. Overall price for 2 adults and 2 children, (without alcohol) was under €80. Which I thought was extraordinary given the quality and portion sizes here. Highly recommended (as long as you avoid the ginger lemonade that is)!

Very amiable spot, especially when you can sit outside on the terrace. Hidden away in the backyard and really cozy. Almost zero waiting time as dishes arrived within 15 minutes (Monday evening at 8pm) and the restaurant had 1/2 of tables occupied. Food is great. Giant dumpling and sizzling beef were both delicious. Others in the group had crunchy chicken and also vegan dishes which all found full approval. Newcastle Brown Ale is also served. I will come again.

This restaurant situated in one of the most central areas of Berlin is well decorated and has an incredible ambiance! The waiters are really nice, but the food is of course the highlight! I had the chicken curry and it was delicious, a friend had the orange duck which I tried and regretted not ordering for myself - it was so tasty. Although the dishes are a bit on the expensive side, as well as the cocktails - which actually could have been better, I totally recommend this place for Vietnamese food and will definitely come back.

Overall it was a good experience with decent food. It's a bit too pricey for what you get in my opinion, but I guess that's the price you pay for eating in the center of the city.

Stopped here for lunch back in August 2023 during a family trip to Berlin. We decided to sit outside since it was such a beautiful day and we we very happy with the outdoor seating area. It’s really expansive with lots of seating and all the tables had umbrellas. No one complained about being hot so that was a win. Our server was very accommodating and helped us pick out some sushi rolls. My wife ordered grilled salmon and I ordered sushi to split with our daughter. The sushi was very fresh and tasty and my wife enjoyed her grilled salmon! It looked like a cool place to stop and have some drinks after work or to meet up with some friends. It just has that chill vibe. Overall we really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant!

The main course was amazing, I ordered the beef. The place itself, is also super cozy, yet lively at the same time. But if I’m honest, they are quite overpriced for what they offer. Oh and the popcorn cheesecake, that seemed very interesting on the menu, was just normal cheesecake with around 12 pieces of caramel popcorn on top…charging around an extra two euros for it.

Veggies in most of dishes are uncooked even sweet potatoes. Service isn’t great. We were asked 5 times if we want extra drinks or a dessert. You need to make an economic sense all the time in order to be left in peace.

Delicious Vietnamese food in a vibrant part of Berlin. Short walk (15-20 mins) from the city centre and heading into the university area. We started with two prawn summer rolls which had an odd texture but the flavours were amazing, particularly the accompanying dip. For main it was crispy orange duck and beef noodles…the flavours were amazing. The staff were lovely and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a cosy Asian cuisine night with modern undertones. Would highly recommend for a more relaxed chilled evening eating in Berlin. Cannot fault them.

Came here for a business dinner one evening. The places was quite lively but as the tables are well-spaced, it didn't feel too crowded. Staff didn't seem particularly happy but the food was on the whole good. Nice sized portions and an interesting menu. The duck was a good choice!

One of my favorite upscale Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin and for a lot of reasons. The ambiance of this place is very special with various sitting styles, and there is also a lovely garden outside for the warm summer days. The attitude of everyone working there is exceptional, truly helpful and very friendly They have a huge menu, so a lot to choose from and something for everyone, whether different types of curry, healthy bowls or sushi, all are very tasty with a great representation of the dish as well. Some of my favorite starters are the chicken sate which is grilled to perfection, very juicy and tender and comes with peanut butter sauce and the beef carpaccio. For the mains I usually go with orange duck, the sizzling beef bowl or the salmon king. I love their sushi selection as well, especially the inside out salmon rolls. All this delicious food can be paired with refreshing cocktails If you are looking for a special night with great food, then look no further

We were recommended to come here by a friend who visits Berlin regularly. It was ideal as one of our party was vegetarian and another wanted something lighter than German food that night. Considering how large and busy it is, the food and service was fantastic. It had a really good atmosphere & quite a young clientele.

Really nice atmosphere and good food. The outside vibe is really nice with a lot of plants and just a good vibe. The food was very tasty and a good portion size for the price. Good service and friendly staff. My only issue was that the dish I ordered had quite a lot of spice kimchi type side that over powered some of the dish maybe personal preference but all good otherwise.

I found the food average taste, prices are too high, especially the Sushi (only standard Sushi, nothing special). Portions are relaitve small, so going there being hungry might end-up in a very expensive dinner or lunch....probably better places with more food for such prices.

During a business trip to Berlin we stopped here for dinner and a drink without any planing! We had a wonderful time, delicious food and a couple of drink rounds. I must say some of their staff seem not to be happy but that did not affect their service.

I went to dine in Royals and Rice on 26/10 at 1320pm. The staff requested my covid cert which I produced. I am from UK so I showed them my NHS pass. Several staff tried to scan my pass but everyone said it’s not valid. I then loaded my covid pass on the NHS app in front of them, even that they didn’t believe. The name of the manager was Kevin Chen. I advised him that I travel and eat out a lot in Berlin but he was adamant that my covid pass isn’t valid although I showed it to him on my NHS app. I suggest anyone coming from UK to not go there as they were not interested in serving us at all.

The food is amazing, but it was really loud and busy outside, so one star less from me. The employees are super nice though and always helpful 👍🏼

Best vietnamese food I‘ve eaten so far in Berlin (and I‘ve tried a few 😁). The salmon was soo delicious, a little cross on the outside and so soft and tender on the inside. Also the Sushi was very very good🍣 The Cocktails have been very good as well. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the court yard a lot, very nice place for a date night. You should make a reservation though 🌞 I will be back very soon, thats for sure

The staff are super friendly despite the fact that I didn’t speak any German. Relaxed courtyard setting with subtle breeze which was great in the middle of a heat wave. If you go to KW or near by bars, it’s good for some food and snacks.

Very good experience! The overall vibe of the restaurant was very pleasant with nice music and very friendly staff. The cocktails are very well done and the food cam fairly quickly without mistakes They didn’t have many gluten free options. Corona regulations were are rightfully met.

Place: really great modern atmosphere and cosy. Huge indoor and outdoor seating areas. Service: the service was great. We were greated by a nice lady who took us to our table. From ordering the food to paying, our waiter was friendly and food came fast. Price: this place is the center of Berlin so you would expect the price to be high yet for this place it was not, in my opinion. Even if some find it pricey, it would still be worth it. ❤️

Pretty decent Asian cuisine with relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space inside. In the menu you can find some nice selection of alcohols. Cocktails look nice.

Great Vietnamese restaurant with a beautiful outdoor seating area. Pho Bo was good, and not too spicy. Service is pretty fast and the staff is friendly and helpful

The pho was very nice and the salmon too. But if I compare this one to Unami Friederichain, it is not the same. But the staff was nice.

Nice and trandy place. Very cosy inner yard. Better to reserve in advance for dinner as it can get busy. Both sushi and burger tasted great. Prices were also adequate to the food amount and quality - would come back.

TERRIBLE! Expect to wait 40 minutes for the server to come. Then another 60 minutes before you get your drinks or food. Do not recommend at all. No one came to check on us at all. Photo shows no food even after 1.5 hours.

Good prices for the lunch menu. I loved the ambience, cozy and intimate. The place is pretty spacious and has a pretty courtyard. If it was not raining, I would have opted to sit outside. I ordered the three roll lunch special, which consisted of an avocado roll, a salmon roll, and a tuna roll. It was simple but fresh. I also tried out their homemade kimchi, which had a nice and slightly spicy kick.

I liked the ambience and vibe of the place. They have a good seating arrangement and staff was very polite. I order crunch chicken curry which was good in taste however I expected a bit more of curry. Overall it was all good.
