👍👍 Platform 17 on the Berlin train, from where 40 thousand of the city's Jews sent legal documents. On the iron plates that make up the floor of the platform, each date shows how many were sent and where. creepy.

There is a very impressive monument at Gleis 17 (Track 17) S-Bahnhof Grunewald. From this station, more than 50,000 Jews were deported to the Auschwitz and Theresienstadt concentration camps during the Second World War. There are metal grilles on the platform, which state the date of transport and the number of Jews transported. In the beginning that number is very high, but as you progress on the platform the numbers decrease. Completely sad! But it is good to reflect on what happened here!
