The grounds of the old Tempelhof airport are now used as a recreation park, and it's great! There is space for a lot of different activities, like a variety of sports, gardening, grilling, etc.

Great place, this is one of the most wonderful place in berlin for every sport or relax activity loving person. Huge space with dedicated places for any activity you can think of. Bike, run, skate, inline, volleyball, basketball, futball, dog walking and many more. There are many food stands where you can eat or just grab a bite and also many public toilets at every corner. Highly recommend

I love this place! In winter mostly a running track, in summer it turns into a big park and an open air zone for picnics, skating, cycling etc. it’s huge! Unbelievable that the planes were landing and taking off right where we run and walk now!

An ex-airport turned in the most incredible park in Berlin with one of the best sunsets. It's a place where you can enjoy time with family or friends and enjoy the time having a picnic, drinking a beer or just chilling around. There are also zones where you can make barbecue... And as it's a huge place, there is a lot of people who go there to make some sports, have a run, bike riding, Roller skating, and more. Sometimes there are music festivals, specially in spring and summer, you must check if they are free or not.

One of the best parks I've ever visited. Impressively large and flat, this old airport gives you a humbing feeling when you first find yourself in its middle. People do all sort of sports, some of them you've never seen before. It has a skate park, some small collaborarive gardens, basketball courts, music circles, slack liners, dances. And, of course, the sunsets

An awesome way to reuse the property of the old airport. It is open to the public for free. Walkers, runners and even people with sails (those who like wind sports) can use this park freely for exercise and to get fresh air. It is also a cool experience to run on the actual runways. There are even a few informational posts and placards posted about.

Excellent! You need to go there. You can bike, drink, mini-golf, barbecue, sing, dance, whatever you want. There is also an agility space for dogs.

Nice place to hang out, at the summer weekend evening feels like a music festival is taking place here: many people, music, chill. After the sunset got kicked out from the field by melolontha insects, that are apparently living under the ground and are curiously checking what people are doing on their land :D but those are not dangerous to people and do not bite, just are flying super close and there are a lot of them. There are some toilets on the field (that were surprisingly clean), dedicated spot for grilling with your own grill

This is a huge area for walking, resting and sports. Always clean. There are a closed area for dog training 😊 and a picnic area. I've only been here at autumn and winter so far. Considering that this is an open field, the wind is almost always present here))) Very beautiful and unusual sky. I wish there were more benches to rest.

This is the best use of an airport from Germany’s dark past. This is a great place to go running, biking, skateboarding and roller blading. You can even fly a kite here. It’s a beautiful space in Berlin

Very nice historical place for various activities, you can sit on the grass under the trees (not too many trees though) or ride your bike, skate, etc. And it is lovely place to see the sunset.
