This place is 5 stars for the food alone, with an incredibly delicious European vibe and dazzling homemade sauces. However the service was equally impressive, and I could have kept drinking the Negroni's all night long!

The people at AV have a vision they wish to convey to their customers via their artfully curated dishes and lovely natural wine selection. The setting (location) could have been more refined, but it actually lends an air of locality and authenticity to this otherwise charming restaurant. Highly recommended.

This place was more than a pleasant surprise. We went there with no knowledge about their approach and setting and were amazed by the simple but very elegant and comfortable setup. In addition their approach on cooking is a must for everyone to experience, literally the best dinner experience I ever had. A plus that must be mentioned is the extremely nice and experienced service, they explained everything including every dish when it was served. I can only recommend going there and will also come back for sure. A hidden treasure on Schönhauser Allee

The place is cozy with nice music. Friendly service, original presentation and exellent food made a perfect dining experience in Berlin. Every dish was crafted beautifully and paired carefully with a glass of wine and beer! one of them was a delicious crafty amazing beer fron Prage. When I talk about presentation for instance, the bread looked like brisket and biting into it, it was a magnificent bready concoction. Then we had a dish in a clam that was an explosion of different flavors and textures in my mouth.   Go and experience for yourself.

What an incredible NYE dinner! Our family had a blast at the AV restaurant a few days ago when a NYE set menu has been put together for this special occasion - its was truly a treat with standards above many two Michelin stars restaurants that we've been all over the world. The AV brigade accommodated all dietary requests from my siblings, made us feel at home, did loads of cheers with us and, of course, prepared the most delicious food for this occasion! Cheers to everyone at the kitchen, front of house, bar and the lovely host (we can't remember your name but your energy and kindness was superb). If you are in Berlin and crazy about incredible food experiences dont miss AV restaurant!

5 * for the service - amazing front of house. 2 or 3 wine pairings were very spot on. Taste combinations, such as butter with garlic fermented in honey - are sheer genius As with most adventurous menus there were a couple of off notes - mostly with desserts being very sour - but the overall menu is incredibly well thought out.

Had a lovely dinner here. The highlight was the wine pairing that we‘ve decided to have with our dinner. The wine pairing included included both natural and more classic wines, but all of them had something to surprise us. Food was good, although the service was quite slow as had to wait 20min for the bill. Luckily, that didn’t ruin the overall experience.

Incredibile food! Such unique tastes made from simple and very high-quality ingredients! Really one of the best dinners I‘ve had in a very long time! Also the drinks selection is great and the staff is welcoming & nice. This young Italian chef deserves all the credit! Will definitely visit again soon!

The strawberry & tomato purée tart starter was the highlight for me, an explosion of summery flavors . However, there were a few dishes that were too salty, such as the toast and the noodle. The main course is duck , it’s well cooked but I wouldn’t say it’s super tender and juicy.

Delicious vegan 8-course experience. The place is beautiful, the food is amazing and everyone is friendly.

The menu offered a great selection of dishes with local and seasonal ingredients. At the current time, the main ingredients are citrus fruits. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was also exceptional, with our waiter being knowledgeable and attentive throughout the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, which made for a lovely dining experience. Non alcoholic beverages are also available👍🏻

This is a tough one. On the one hand the food was of the highest quality and served with passion. On the other hand it was not all to my personal taste, although my fellow diners loved it. My only criticism was that the room got very loud indeed. I'd definitely like to return and try it again sometime.

What an unbelievably great food experience. Seasonal and local done right. The wines all paired perfectly and the food was exquisite. Service was great as well. Overall a must do if you love good wine and amazing food!
