Big bus Berlin. Great torus and offers. It’s with audio guide in different languages. You get headphones on the bus. There are different tours and buses and also day passes and more days available. You can book online, or in the bus. Pay with card and the whole red tour takes 2hrs. Stuff is so friendly and helpful. Check it out nice to explore the city and get and overview.

Disappointed. We took the Big Bus ride in London and San Francisco in the past, and it was a very pleasant family experience. However, the Berlin bus was a great disappointment. We waited for the bus 40 min (!) in some of the stops, the ride itself took ages as the bus stopped for long minutes in almost every stop and just waited endlessly, and the whole experience was more frustrating than enjoyable :-(

WARNING!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!! We purchased the two day ticket on 7/3. We arrived at the nearest pick up location in time to catch the first bus. It never came and we waited over an hour with our three month old baby. The website states that the buses come every 30 minutes. According to the app updates they only had two buses running that day and I believe it would be impossible for a bus to arrive at each stop every 30 minutes. We did not want to spend our days in Berlin waiting for the bus. We decided to not use the tickets. The company has not agreed to refund the tickets.

Was a nice tour. You can get out at many interesting points and continue the tour later. Headphones are at the front of the bus for information. Well done. I found out that you can get a ticket cheaper via the website.

Sunday 10th September 2023.Definitely worth choosing Big Bus Tours when in Berlin. Payed for the evening and walking tour which is worth spending the money on, the guide we had on the evening and walking tour was very pleasant, well spoken and knowledge with history information, unfortunately I forgot his name but he was great at his job. Very much enjoyed the Tours.

Was great, buses are quite frequent around the city so you can hop off and on at various stops. Getting their app helps one to keep up with the bus schedule.

I had a blast there. I did the two day pass with the boat and walking tour both very well recommended and worth the money. This gentleman by the name of Freddie British English speaker. Freddie does the walking tour, and he is a blast and very entertaining in his storytelling of the history of berlin. You start at the Brandenburg Gate and end at checkpoint Charlie. With a stop at the infamous Führerbunker. Also, Freddie has lived in Berlin since the 70s or 80s, I believe. Great stories he had. Last note when he says don't wander from the group please don't. We had to track a couple of people down from our group. Hopefully, this helps. ***Also you can drink beer in public as you're walking.

The buses never arrive or the driver skip stops, it was a horrible first day in Berlin, I wasted a lot of time and energy waiting for the bus and never came. 50 euros wasted because it is impossible to reach them and ask for a refund. Also, they say the cruise it is include and when trying to board the cruise they said I needed to “book time online” and there is no option to do that in their app or website.

I have tried these tourist busses in a few different locations around Europe and frankly they usually feel like waste of money. However in this bus tour the guides original, experience-seasoned commentary gave an excellent insight into the brief history of Berlin. I can sincerely recommend this one if you fancy a quick Berlin overview!

I’ve done several big bus tours in other EU countries and have great experiences but honestly these guys in Berlin softened a lot of the city’s difficult history. It was like they didn’t want the riders to know about certain historical events but instead rewrote there own version. Really disappointed.

Bus drivers skip entire stations leaving the passengers stranded. Unreliable.

We can only recommend it! We were skeptical at first but were fully convinced and thrilled. Lots of information about the headphones available in different languages. Friendly staff. You can get in and out at any time. Free WiFi also available 👍😊 Cell phone could also be charged Top! Would do it again

Good and organized tour with interesting information. Because the ticket is valid for 24 hours, you don't have to do the tour in one day, but can split it into 2 half days. I would book the tour again.

Nice tour through Berlin, many stops worth seeing where you can get on and off at any time. The buses are fine, it's best to sit at the top with the convertible roof open, the explanations are good and in several languages. If you want to do a tour like this and start with the first descent, then you have the whole day available, which is far from enough to see everything.

Was a little skeptical at first. But it was really worth it. You get into corners that you wouldn't otherwise be able to walk through. Started on Alex. The young man who spoke to us there was really nice and explained a lot to us. You can really see a lot by getting in and out. It was really worth it. I can really only recommend it if you want to see a lot of Berlin.

Had a great ride around Berlin. Did the red route first on the advice of the staff before we got on. However, he didn't tell us what time the blue route stopped, so we missed the chance of doing it. A bit disappointed but enjoyed the red route sights.

Did the red and blue tour. The red one was ok, but often the description in the headphones didn't match the actual route. The breaks here were very long. But ok to get an overview. On the blue route we left about 20 minutes late and the tour was far too short, with breaks that were far too long. Karl Marx Allee, Berghain, East Side Gallery and Ostbahnhof, that's it. In addition, as a customer you feel really ripped off by the company when the salesperson at Alex tells you that it would have been significantly cheaper with him than booking online.

I’ve seen a few negative reviews and not sure why. This is a sight seeing tour. Expect it to run smooth but not always perfect. Traffic may adjust exact schedule times. If you need to get somewhere in a hurry maybe this isn’t for you. Do as company suggests and download the app so you can track the bus location at all times if that’s important to you. We bought 48 hr pass and got on at stop 1 and basically did the whole loop (we only got off once) on first day. Then switched to the blue line and got off only once. They have the start/end route times listed on the brochure that is either handed to you or available on the bus. Read it. 2nd day we did red line again and got off at different stops. Wasn’t as busy. The audio commentary seemed slightly different on both days which is good. Learned some new things. Cashed in my free currywurst which was good. Didn’t take the 20 min guided tour around Checkpoint Charlie as we already explored that area previously, but would have. These types of tours are good if you want to see a lot of sites in like 2 hours from the comfort of an open air bus. Save your feet. The end ;)

Great tour. Everything is clear and understandable. Very informative tickets - hard to get lost or misunderstood. Everything on the bus works well. I can only recommend washing the buses more often. I would like to take lots of pictures with beautiful views along the route.

I purchased my ticket online. Driver couldn’t figure out how to print it but it did redeem it which left me with no paper ticket. He told me to go to stop one and go to office. It was actually stop 10. Thankfully most drivers let me on the bus and tried to help. Also need better descriptions at what is at each stop.

The night tour with bus driver Schrotti and his chatterbox is sensational! Funny, informative and at one point or another peppered with personal experiences and stories from the time before the fall of the Berlin Wall and the days/weeks after it - and in the very own way of a Berliner. I can only recommend that everyone should do it. Pure entertainment, in my opinion the tour could be longer.

The worst thing about Berlin, 15 minute waits at each stop and very poor information about the journey

  • 1/5 Mónica F. 2 weeks ago on Google • 5 reviews New
They are scoundrels, we got on one of them at a quarter to 6 in the afternoon and the driver charged us without warning us that it closed at 6. So he left us quite far from where we got on and we felt cheated because it was 110.00 euros for a fifteen minute walk for three people.

A great way of seeing Berlin and getting your bearings. Definitely the 48hour ticket is worth it. Download the Big Bus app as it allows you to see when and where the buses when you are waiting. Plenty stops along the way.

My journey on the Berlin sightseeing bus had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the heating was consistently on, which was a lifesaver during winter with snow outside. However, the experience was marred by the audio guide, which often didn't sync with the places we were seeing. Additionally, we passed by significant monuments without receiving any information about them. This disconnect between expectations and reality left my trip tinged with disappointment, as I couldn't fully enjoy the experience.

Way too long stops, wasted time between red and blue route. Had to wait there for 45 minutes for the next tour. Back again, waiting over a quarter of an hour. The time is too bad for that. We wouldn't come here again

The tour was excellinent. Freddie who did our Evening and Walking tour was entertaining and filled with facts. My only issue was with the spacing / wait times between buses which could be improved slightly.

The English audio was short and hard to follow. They play terrible music between stops so I had to turn the volume down and would miss some of the narration. Save your money. Do not believe Trip Adviser this tour is terrible.

  • 1/5 Marcus L. 2 years ago on Google
Buses didn't follow routes provided on the app. Stops were skipped and other stops were added with no notice. There were only two buses on the redline so there was a great deal of time between on and off. Recorded highlights commentary was inoperable. But the bus was relatively clean. You'd be better off with a map and a scooter which is exactly what we did. $50 wasted.

The Berlin Big Bus tour is a decent value for the money. We purchased the deluxe tickets and took advantage of both the walking tour and boat tour. Freddie was our walking tour guide and did a great job keeping us entertained. The only constructive comment I may have, is that checking in on day one and exchanging your voucher for tickets was a bit confusing. Finally after engaging about 2 different hop-on, hop-off people a kind person explained to us that Big Bus and another company had merged and we could check in with either company.

If it wasn't for the walking tour this would be a 1 star. My recommendation use a different company. And book a walking tour

Disappointed. No live data regarding busses arrival, lot of issues with online bought tickets, bad marked attractions in city... On other side, very cheap service, 40E for 3 days plus riveer cruise, walking tour... Peanuts 😊

Fantastic tour, very well organised. Buses were on time, staff friendly and currently tickets are also valid on the green sightseeing buses. Super interesting, cold war walking tour is a bonus and the free Curry Wurst a welcome extra.

Was excited to do this bus tour because of what it promised but it was a terrible experience, not what is advertised. The bus had no WiFi, the whole blue line was not active, and the bus skipped stops which makes the real-time map useless. Customer service was responsive but misleading. Do not expect buses every 20 minutes. After waiting over two hours at the Ostbahnhof we gave up and took public transport downtown. We wanted a refund but the clerk in the messaging system on the app gave my husband the run around for about an hour. We finally gave in and caught one of the buses because my kids are miserable walkers. Once on the bus the top was nice a cool and it was a pleasant ride. The narration was adequate. I am grateful my kids were free and it was a cheap option. Overall I would not recommend this company. There were other companies that had far more buses. This is a cheap option but it is not worth the Frustration.

Takes you to all famous landmarks but nothing that escapes from that, kinda boring. Waiting times may be too long between hoping on - off.

The trip with Big Bus Tours Berlin is a great experience. You can see a lot of the city. But you also have to be lucky which bus driver you have. The first trip was nice, but hot in the closed bus at the top, the sun was shining and we asked the driver to open the roof for the onward journey to Kudamm, the driver apparently couldn't open the roof because of back problems. A pity. Not nice for the guests. It's more fun when the weather is great. Then the next bus conductor who heard this came and immediately went upstairs and opened the roof with wit and charm. Everyone was thrilled and our joy and mood rose like the sun we could now enjoy. The whole journey was great, he drove slowly where there was something to photograph and we really liked the friendly, polite and nice manner. We have positive memories of Berlin. We would like to thank the driver with the white gloves, who still enjoys his work. Thank you for the great trip. We'll be back.

Overall a good service. You get to see quite a bit of the city for a fair price. However, work is needed on communication regarding the stops. The day of our visit, the location of multiple stops were changed (from what was seen on the map or the app) due to construction, but no clarifications were announced. The actual stops were also not clearly marked or indicated that we had arrived, leading to multiple stops that were missed because we weren’t sure if we arrived at the stop or just stuck in traffic.

😠 Artificial, rehearsed. The guide was utterly boring, self centred and rehearsed. Also a bit discriminate. I walked out 15 mins in the tour cause I felt offended.
