We went here during Christmas market and the decorations were amazing. Few places the lightings were stunning. Inside there was also a small Christmas market however it was very crowded so we dint go there but it looked pretty. We had Currywurst in one of the cafes which was great. I would say it was a bit expensive as the entry price was 28 euros.

It was abit unplecent experience. First, the people in the ticket booth was unplecant. We visited in november, and very few animals was in their enclosure, so we had to walk long distances between empty enclosures. When they anounced the closure for the day, we proceeded towards the exit. On the way, apperently we didn't walk fast enough, so employees threten us with fines for not reacing the exit fast enough, even though we moved as fast as walking with todelers and stroler alow. Overall, the experience we had was not worth the entrance fee.

Anlage riesig aber an vielen Stellen ziemlich ungepflegt bzw. wie leer gefegt. Alles zu einem reichlich hohen Eintrittsgeld von 17 Euro für einen Erwachsenen. Bitte die Leitung/die Verantwortlichen des Tierparks auswechseln!! Lichtblicke sind die Tiere, die man sehen kann, die Reste der alten Anlagen und die erwachende Natur.

The zookeepers maintain the area very well and you can see that the animals are really chill about it. I always enjoy visiting Tierpark when I'm in Berlin. They have made some significant changes since I was last there a few years ago. The enclosures/habitats are big and well suited for the animals. The fact that the animals were all out and about, right up by the glass suggests they are comfortable and content. I recommend going to see the pheasant section as well, it's always devoid of people for some reason but the birds are delightful!

Food outlets were great quality and the lady at the small souvenir kiosk was a delight to speak to - a beautifully warm and enthusiastic person. The front gate man with the long goatee was kind and helpful too. We went twice to this precious place during our one week holiday. That’s how great the Tierpark is!

This is one of the two Zoos in Berlin . It’s much bigger as a space than the other one ( Tiergarten ) though it’s not that well known or crowded like the other one . The experience is very different it’s more like a park than like a zoo it has a lot of animals ( but the other one has more ) . It’s a little bit scary in the winter when the sun is not shining if you are there alone and no one is around . The Dinosaur Park ( it is there for a limited time ) is really nice but not up to our expectations. The giraffe house is more than amazing and the Himalaya is also a very nice walk … it takes around 4 to 5 hours to walk through the whole park and see all the animals ( with kids ) .

You can have up to 5 people for 80 euros in an area where you can feed the giraffe. The zoo keeper was so incredibly knowledgeable about every giraffe and it was a great pleasure to feed treats to these magnificent animals. Highly recommended

A must when visiting Berlin huge park. Easy to get to by tram, bus or taxi. You can bring your pet dog there, like in most places in Berlin. Take some coins with, you can feed animals at the petting zoo, (unluckily machines were closed due to covid restrictions) 04/2022. Renting a wagon helps out when traveling with kids or having a lot of stuff with. Need proper shoes to walk with, we're there 1/2 day clocked 13km. You can bring your own snacks n' drinks to enjoy, and may I suggest a couple Berliners to enjoy.

A train ride through the main area is free and let's you see many of the animals quickly. The sections are divided into world geographic areas, with the Himalayan section particularly inventive. So many varieties of animals and plenty of shade and sitting areas. The new Dino experience is fun, and it can be viewed without paying the extra $2-4 fee. This may be my favorite zoo ever, which is saying a lot. The animals have lots of freedom and risk more naturally than the typical zoo. The new elephant enclosure is under construction, and it looks like the most exciting animal enclosure I've ever seen. I highly recommend visiting. This was an amazing experience and one of the best places we visited on our European trip.

Toller Park mit vielen Tieren und Möglichkeiten für Alt und Jung die Zeit zu genießen. Der Park ist sauber und ordentlich von den Wegen bis hin zu den Sanitäranlagen. Die Preise sind schon Recht saftig, aber im Vergleich mit der Konkurrenz sticht der Tierpark Berlin auch nicht negativ heraus. Es ist schön zu sehen dass der Tierpark erweitert und saniert wird! Auch die Events wie die Dino-Ausstellung oder die Lichtershow zu Weihnachten sind eine nette Ergänzung. Negativ hingegen finde ich fehlende Infos auf der Hompage wie z.B. der Sperrung des Eisbärgeheges. Insgesamt aber jedes Mal ein schönes Erlebnis!

Was für ein schöner Tierpark! Obwohl dieser gut besucht war, verläuft sich das mit den Besuchern schnell. Es gibt viel zu sehen für die Kleinen und Großen. Wir haben es nicht geschafft den Park an einem Tag in Ruhe vollständig zu erkunden, weil dies auch ein Ort der Entschleunigung ist. Obacht: Im Internet soll es günstigere Eintrittskarten geben! Auch ein Schloss ist auf dem riesigen Areal vorhanden! Das hat sich alles insgesamt gelohnt! Muss ich nochmal hin!

Ein echter Park lädt zum Verweilen, Spazierengehen und Picknicken ein. Man kann hier den ganzen Tag verbringen, heimische und nicht-heimische Tiere beobachten und einen ganzen Tag an der frischen Luft auskosten. Im Winter waren leider alle Buden zu um sich etwas aufzuwärmen mit warmen Getränken und Speisen und zumindest die Pinguin Fütterung war zwar angekündigt, wurde aber weder abgesagt noch fand sie statt. Dafür einen Punktabzug!

Der Park ist zwar groß, aber die Tiere haben oft wenig Platz, besonders die Vögel. Passend zum Zoo gibts für die "tierlieben" Besucher gleich Currywurst und Co. Wenn jemand wirklich Tiere mag, sollte er lieber wegbleiben.

Der Tierpark ist einfach fantastisch. Für nur 55€ bekommt man eine Jahreskarte, die ich mir direkt zugelegt habe. Der Park ist weitläufig mit mehreren Restaurants ausgestattet. Auch Eisstände sind mehrere vorhanden. Der Tierpark ist mit den Öffentlichen sehr gut zu erreichen aber auch mit dem Auto kann man dort gut hingelangen. Die Tiere sind immer gut zu sehen. Ein Besuch ist absolut empfehlenswert. Wer zwischen Zoo und Tierpark schwankt sollte sich unbedingt für den Tierpark entscheiden.

Wir waren schon immer gern mit den Kindern hier, aber so richtig toll ist es, seitdem so viel saniert und modern gestaltet wurde. Für Mensch und Tier. ??

Super tolle Anlage, hier kann man einen schönen Tag verbringen. Wir kommen gerne wieder ?

Ein sehr schöner Tierpark. Wir haben in der Zeit gar nicht alles geschafft. Kleiner Wermutstropfen war, wir konnten nicht ins Krokodilhaus. Das war leider auch nirgends ausgeschrieben.

Der Tierpark an sich ist ein grosses und wunderschönes Gelände und ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jedenfall. Was überhaupt nicht geht ist das Angebot des Restaurants Patagona das Essen war teilweise Kalt und absolut nicht gewürzt, Die Preise sind meines erachtens nicht angebracht.

Eine tolle Oase mitten in der Stadt. Wir haben Jahreskarten und nutzen den Tierpark deswegen auch einfach mal abends für einen Spaziergang bei Sonnenuntergang.

Die Gehege sind teilweise sehr unfair verteilt. Die Elefanten auf einer Mini Insel, suchen nach einem Weg, dass es weitergeht. Viele große Vogelarten, Adler, Geier, in kleinen Käfigeny Diese Tiere haben die wunderbare Eigenschaft zu fliegen und Ihr sperrt sie in 3qm Käfige ein. Ein schöner Familienausflug. Obwohl wir wochentags da waren, war der Tierpark gut besucht und da das Gelände um das Dickhäuterhaus weiträumig wegen Renovierung gesperrt ist drängen sich alle an den neuen Gehegen des Raubtierhauses. Zum Glück gilt Maskenpflicht während des gesamten Besuches und auf dem gesamten Gelände. Einziges Manko: kein Bollerwagenverleih aus Hygienegründen (ließen sich diese nicht nach Nutzung mit Flächenhygienespray desinfizieren?). Für uns nicht ganz nachvollziehbar. Die Tierpark-Bahn fährt ja auch nicht und das Gelände ist für kleine Füße sehr weitläufig. Irgendwann treibt auch die Neugierde die Kleinis nicht mehr voran und dann heißt es Gepäck und Kinder tragen :( Nächstes mal wissen wir Bescheid und behelfen uns selbst.)

Sehr schöner großer und weitläufiger Tierpark. Man sollte auf jeden Fall viel Zeit 🕰 mitbringen, damit man auch den gesamten Tierpark erkunden kann. Die Gehege sind großzügig gestaltet und die Tiere können dies weitläufig erkunden. Das Elefant Gehege wird Moment umgebaut und die Elementen sind nach Leipzig umgezogen. Das Gehege soll voraussichtlich 2022 fertig gestellt sein. Leider war bei unserem Besuch viele Gehege leer bzw wurden umgebaut. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Many were available but they were all closed for some reason. People were left buying ice cream and drinks from vending machines. Considering the size of the place and the amount of time you would have to spend in there to take it all in, having every food and drink place closed just seemed unacceptable, especially during what would be considered the peak visitor months. There’s also a train that goes around the stop points so you wont be walking. However it doesnt cover the whole park so you will have to wear comfy clothes and shoes. Not much to do here though. Not in English but staffs are happy to help you if you have questions.

I think it's one of the coolest animal park in Berlin. It's pretty big and you can spend good amount of time in walks or rest around. The number of animals are lesser than Berlin Zoo but here you have different areas which compensate for that. Himalayas was my favourite as you get to climb up and get some good walk up hill. Overall it's recommended !!

My partner and I visited Tierpark today, we’ve been to a number of wildlife parks, national parks and zoos around the world. This one has good animal welfare, and they all looked happy and healthy. Even have some baby animals there. The park was large but pleasant to walk through. We went on a week day in March was very quiet, and a lot of the animals were close to the viewing points because of that. Some of the enclosures could be bigger but it seems as though they are improving their habitats overtime.

It is very nice place to spend with your children/family. The place is very huge and clean with many wild animals to visit. We didn't manage to visit the whole area in one day with kids. The entrance price is very expensive if you buy a day ticket which costs 20€ per adult and 8.5 € per kid. But yearly ticket is fairly priced which is around 68€.

18 Euros per ticket. For kids, it is free(depends upon age). You can spend a whole day in the park. There are many places to sit down and relax. Also, they do have restaurants within the park. Kids and adults will enjoy this Park equally. There's a train service within the park which can be used by the old people/who are not able to walk for long. Staff members are nice and helpful. I will come back again for sure.

The first time I went a few years ago, mama polar bear was nursing her cub. This year one of the bears was playing in the water with a big ball. Anyway, we'll be back next year!

Large Zoo with a lot of secluded park spots, so it doesn't feel crowded at all. Got active tiger cubs and polar bears. I don't have kids. But it looks like it's great for kids. Large playgrounds etc

What an absolutely beautiful place and experience. I've been to many zoos over the years but this was by far the best. The way it is laid out really gives a sense of space and the enclosures are really cleverly designed to make it feel like you are getting up close to the animals. Highlights were the polar bears and the lemur enclosure. I can't recommend this zoo highly enough.

Tierpark Berlin is a very nice zoo/park. The animals have a lot more space than the regular zoo, and there are a lot of places to walk. There is a lot of information about the animals and the rainforest building had a lot of interactivity. Next to that, there are a few ways to interact with some animals. Definitely recommended to visit this zoo. When we went, it was also very calm.
