Curry 36 was soll man sagen einfach nur fantastisch. Sehr Kundenfreundliches Personal, die Currywurst ohne Darm schmeckt äußerst lecker, genauso wie die Pommes rot/ weiß. Ist definitiv ein Besuch wert wenn man in der Nähe ist. Teilweise sehr gut besucht.

First meal in Berlin. I had tried their other shop ages before and out of sheer convenience gave this one a try on our way to KaDeWe. I had the "currywurst mit" which means with casing and quite liked it actually. Even though I normally prefer it without, the casing gave it all a lovely snap and the fruity tomato ketchup worked very well with it all. Interestingly they add the curry powder directly on the sausage and then drop the sauce over it.

This is by far the best currywurst I’ve ever had. I didn’t really understand the long line at first (I also don’t like hyped up places), so I decided to try it. I’ve probably had currywurst in every German city, including Berlin, but this was really great. It’s not a complicated dish, obviously, but the quality and spices were perfect. Good fries as well. Super cheap. Very friendly service. Highly recommended.

Would recommend Curry 61 any day over 36. The food is just not as good and I did a side by side comparison. Their vegan version does not taste good and their fries were way too salty.

I was not expecting it to be so tasty. I had eaten lot of sausages in Denmark 🇩🇰 but the currywurst at Curry36 is certainly very delicious. They offer variety of freshly prepared sausages with curry and spices. I look forward to eating it again. Highly recommended 👌

This is the place to go for a good curry wurst for very little money! A small kiosk that doesn't look like much at first glance, but as they say, you can't judge a book by its cover 😉 The French fries are excellent too! A must during your holiday in Berlin!

Such a solid place for a quick würst and French fries/pommes! Cash only and quick! My order came out before I could put my change away! The wurst are tasty and hot! The fries are great.

Tried for the sake of experience. It was okay. Nothing special. I asked for ketchup and mayo on the side, they still put it on top of of everything.

Ambiente ist natürlich was anderes.

Had to wait in the line for a while. But I gotta say it was worth it. I'm happy this was my first experience trying Currywurst. Good quality ingredients, a huge portion of everything, and reasonable prices. No seating and not much coverage from the rain though.

Had the vegan currywurst, it tastes really good. Vegan mayo is also availabe. I recommend this place in case you aren‘t that hungry.

Vegan currywurst! You’ve gotta have it- so tasty. Plenty of space to stand at a table and eat. Really popular place with good reason - you won’t have to wait long though if at all. Super quick service as expected

They are very friendly. Kind. Nice and patiently take my order and explain me. The sausages are very tasty and juicy, love it. Good price. But you might have to wait a little bit since they are always long Q.

Good service, great sausage but way too much sauce that kind of drowns the other flavours out a bit

One of the best currywurst in Berlin. We saw lots of people waiting and we tried it. It was totally worth it!

Vegan currywurst - the reason why we went there. It’s a food kiosk devoted to currywurst, and vegan option is available. You can order the vegan ‘red/white’ fries, as well. There’s almost always a line, but it moves fast. I wouldn’t recommend it for a proper meal, but it’s a nice snack. Wheelchair accessible.

Located near the Kudamm, Curry 36 is open considerably later than closeby food options in the Charlottenberg area. The staff are helpful and the service is quick. I had the currywurst and it was some of the best I had in Germany. The french fries are also very good. Please be mindful that they do not accept card. Though if you’re in a pickle, there is an ATM machine across the street.

  • 4/5 Angela D. 9 months ago on Google
Glad they offer vegan currywurst. Would love if they offered another vegan/veg option like just a bratwurst sandwich or something. Would also be nice if they could cook the vegan meat in a way that doesn't dry it out. We cook vegan sausages at home all the time and typically they are very juicy.

a Must GO and Eat while you are in Berlin. But be careful… the waiting line could be very long…

Not a nice dish at all. Very salty and dry. I think I can cook a better curry wurst anytime. Its just basically pan fry sausages with lotsa dollop of ketchup on the top and a sprinkle of curry powder. We had just a few bites and had to throw it away. Expensive too! Not recommended at all!

Budget friendly and tasty. It is located at a very good spot and if you get hungry exploring the area and want to eat something yummy that doesn’t weigh in on your wallet then, this is your go to. Though they are busy for most of the time in the evenings, the team was friendly. On the whole, loved it and would surely recommend.

The restaurant is small and friendly, with Asian cuisine. The food is good and portions are large and the prices are reasonable. Indications about alergenic substances in the food content are missing. The cleanliness can be improved a little.

Small place but very friendly staff, very quick service with a smile. I was after a quick bite and really wanted to try some currywurst in the country it originated from. Definitely worth the money. IMPORTANT This area is targeted by pickpockets. Keep your possessions in a safe place and if you're asked to donate to a "charity", ignore them and move on.

Ok currywurst. I've read reviews that this was the best place to get them so I had to get these but I've seriously had other better ones.

  • 5/5 Pousali P. 2 years ago on Google
Open until late night, Curry 36 has a wide range of wurst to choose from. They have a good range of common alkoholfrei getränke as well. The food items are really reasonable and easy on your pocket! Nothing in the menu costs more than 3 euros!! Tastes quite good as well. Located just at the Zoologischer Garten Platz, it's easily accessible by bus, Sbahn n Ubahn from all parts of the city..

Best currywurst in Berlin. I like the tangy ketchup sauce that they offer. Chips are thick and freshly fried. They offer sausages with skin and without, I like the crunchy texture so always go with that option

Might be frowned upon but don’t be shy, ask for your ketchup on the side so you can control how saucy each bite is (or isn’t).

Probably the best Currywurst I have ever tasted, very reasonable price. I passed by accidentally around 11pm on a Tuesday, the queue was still long. They served fast though, didn’t need to wait for long

Since I'm a food freak, I asked all my German folks to suggest me some good restaurants and food places to go and they all where talking about curry 36 which set the bar too high and curry 36 kinda failed to reach it. Staff are nice but they have to pay more attention when they are getting orders. The food was fine, but it wasn't anything special and there were not so many options for sauce in fact they only had ketchup and mayonnaise. also, the fact that they actually had ketchup sauce and then they used some curry powder on it instead of a homemade special curry sauce was very disappointing for me. I was expecting something more exclusive. The price was fine but for a street food in berlin it could be even cheaper. I got fries+ 1 koofte+ 1 sausage + a bit of baked onion and it was 10 euros which was a bit higher than rivals in berlin. Generally it worth trying, you might not be surprised but you will be satisfied.

The ultimate German food experience! We loved the schnitzel and the currywurst

  • 3/5 Quang D. 2 years ago on Google
It was okay. Fries were good but the sauce was very thick. I remembered it being better.

  • 5/5 Daniela de la T. 2 years ago on Google
A Berlin classic! A delicious wurst (sausage) with a sweet curry sauce, add some fries to make it better. It’s perfect for a quick eat, don’t expect to stay a lot of time at the stand, as it is not inviting and there are no seats… other than that the best option for a fast/ delicious meal.

We‘ve been many times to Curry36 and think its a must to go there if you‘re in Berlin. They have very authentic and good currywurst and we can also recommend to try the krakauer. Their prices are very reasonable too.. but beware, because the service is really unfriendly! Especially this one worker who basically insults you in your face while you place your order, yells at her coworkers and tells everybody she wants to go home.
