Diese OP-Methode ist schonender, da Muskeln nicht durchtrennt sondern zur Seite geschoben werden. Dies ist unblutiger und die Heilung geht schneller voran. Die Operation war kompliziert aufgrund der Dysplasie (angeborene Fehlstellung) und daraus resultierender Beinlängendifferenz. Das betroffene Bein war, nicht wie üblich, kürzer, sondern länger. Diese OP war für Herrn Dr. Pappas lt. eigene Aussage "...eine Herausforderung, welche Spaß gemacht hat " :) und welche er hervorragend gemeistert hat, denn ich bin nicht nur schmerzfrei in Hüftgelenk sondern meine 'Beine sind aufgrund seiner Bemühungen gleich lang geworden. Aufgrund dieser veränderten Statik habe ich auch kaum noch Kniegelenkschmerzen - trotz der Arthrose. Am 14.6.2021 wurde ich von Chefarzt Dr. Pappas operiert, ich durfte 1 Tag später aufstehen, bekam eine Motorschiene ins Bett und nach 5 Tagen konnte ich mit Gehhilfen Treppen steigen und durfte ( ich musste nicht ;) ) das Krankenhaus verlassen, um 10 Tage später in eine Reha zu gehen. Ca. am 13.09.2021, 3 Monate Post-OP , begann ich mit der Wiedereingliederung n. Hamburger Modell und seit Anfang Oktober 4 Monate Post-OP, arbeite ich wieder als Physiotherapeutin 30Std./Woche. Schmerzen ließen sich mittels Medikation gut aushalten und sind n. ca. 6 Wochen fast gänzlich verschwunden. Bis auf eine geringfügige Taubheit im Narbenbereich und der Narbe ist nach einem Jahr kein Schmerz vorhanden, die Gelenkbeweglichkeit ist deutlich besser als vor der OP. Nach einem Sturz im Urlaub wurde meine E-Mailanfrage von Chefarzt Dr. Pappas am nächsten Morgen um 8.30h telefonisch beantwortet. Zusammenfassend kann ich über Dr. Pappas sagen, dass ich ihn als äußerst kompetenten, empathischen, am Patientenwohl interessierten Arzt erleben durfte, der jede erdenkliche Frage geduldig beantwortet und am Ende dennoch fragt, ob man noch mehr wissen möchte. Auch als Kassenpatientin fühlte ich mich sehr gut versorgt und aufgehoben. Das Pflegepersonal wirkte manchmal leicht gestresst, war aber immer bemüht, den Patienten den Personalmangel nicht spüren zu lassen. Eine einzelne Pflegekraft, die vllt. etwas mürrischer als die Kollegen sein könnte, mag es immer mal geben. Davon kann man aber nicht auf das gesamte Stationspersonal oder gar Klinikpersonal schließen. Ich bin von den meisten Pfleger/innen äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt worden. Meine Erfahrung hier war hervorragend und ich kann insbesondere natürlich eine Empfehlung für dieses Krankenhaus in der modernen Hüft-Endoprothetik und Chefarzt Dr. Pappas aussprechen.

Was sich in diesem Haus abspielt hat leider nichts mehr mit dem Christlichen Gedanken der von der Caritas so hoch gelobt wird, zu tun. Nur ein paar Beispiele: am morgen kommt jemand ins Zimmer meines Vaters und sagt er solle sich hinsetzen, er möchte ihn waschen. Ging weg und kam nicht zurück. Also wurde mein Vater nicht gewaschen. Sein Gebiss wird ihm in dem Becher mit Reinigungstabletten hingestellt, er soll das ohne es abzuspülen selbst einsetzen. Dann kommt das Frühstück, das Tablett wird ohne Worte auf seinen Nachtschrank gestellt, nach wenigen Minuten, wird ohne das er etwas davon essen konnte, abgeräumt. Die folgenden Mahlzeiten werden hingestellt ohne den Deckel zu entfernen, was mein Papa aufgrund seiner Schwäche nicht entfernen kann. Folge es wird ohne zu fragen einfach abgeräumt. Wie soll mein bettlägeriger Vater daran kommen?? Mein Vater wird immer weniger hat überhaupt keine Kraft mehr.. Deswegen hab ich versucht mit den Ärzten in der Sprechstunde zu sprechen. Um 14 Uhr wurde mir an der Tür vom Sprechzimmer gesagt, die Ärztin kommt ins Zimmer meines Vaters. Nach einer Stunde nocheinmal nachgefragt, die gleiche Antwort erhalten. Nach einer weiteren Stunde musste ich meinen Vater leider allein lassen, ohne ein Ergebnis zu erhalten. Ich finde in diesem Haus ist der Christliche Gedanke verloren gegangen!!! Es aber mit eigenen Augen zu sehen, hat mich bewegt. Ich möchte hier noch einmal meine Hochachtung aussprechen und mich ganz herzlich beim gesamten Personal für die professionelle Behandlung bedanken, in der sogar noch liebe Worte Platz gefunden haben. Der eine Stern ist schon zu Viel. Dieses Krankenhaus sollte man käsekrankenhaus nennen. Es gibt nur Käse zum Frühstück. Das hängt einem zum Halse raus. Abends sitzen die Schwestern auf den Balkon und rauchen. Das klingeln der Patienten bekommen die nicht mit. Nach 5.min bin ich klopfen gegangen. Und fragte ob die sich nicht mal um die Patienten kümmern wollen. Dieses Krankenhaus empfehle ich niemanden.

Mein Vater wurde dorthin (Station 8) verlegt und der Oberarzt empfing uns (meine Mutter und mich) "wissen Sie eigentlich wie krank er ist"? Nun ja, sonst wäre er nicht da. 1,5 Wochen, wo ich als Tochter jeden Tag zur Mittagszeit da war, damit er ißt und die Medikamente nimmt, trotzdem wurde sein Zustand immer schlechter. Er ist mehrfach nachts aus dem Bett gefallen und erst in den Morgenstunden ist es aufgefallen. Die Schwestern sind überlastet, waren froh, dass wir uns gekümmert haben, denn das Essen wird hingestellt und wieder abgeholt, es wird nicht nachgehalten warum der ältere Mensch nicht gegessen hat. Fehlte ihm die Kraft oder hatte er keinen Hunger oder konnte er nicht essen, weil es ungünstig abgestellt war. Mein Vater (86 Jahre) geht auf seine letzte Reise und der Oberarzt sagt "der macht noch ein halbes Jahr", der andere Arzt sagt "dauert nicht mehr lange". Sie wollen ihn loswerden, okay, aber hilfreiche Informationen gab es nicht, im Gegenteil, viel Arroganz und Empathielosigkeit von Seiten des Arztes. Eine Bewertung für ein Hospiz bekommen wir nicht, so schlimm ist es nicht!! Er ißt nicht, trinkt nichts, Medikamente nimmt er nicht, fällt mehrfach aus dem Bett und kann alleine nicht zurück, aber so schlimm ist es nicht!!! Letztendlich war nicht mehr der Arzt für uns Ansprechpartner sondern ein sehr einfühlsamer Sozialberater. Die alten Menschen sind nicht mit Absicht krank und würden auch lieber auf so eine Unterbringung verzichten, aber sie sind darauf angewiesen. Nein, alt werden ist nichts für Feiglinge und so möchte man nicht behandelt werden am Ende und als Angehörige auch nicht. Pluspunkte bekommen die Psychologin und der Sozialberater, ohne deren Hilfe wären wir verzweifelt.

Ein kleines Krankenhaus mit super freundlichem Pflegepersonal, das sich zu jeder Zeit mit viel Geduld um die Patienten kümmert. Das gleiche gilt für Ärzte! Zudem liegt das Haus sehr ruhig, so dass man sich gut erholen kann. Die Zimmer auf der Normalstation sind ok, aber nichts besonderes, auf der Komfortstation dagegen sehr groß. Überhaupt ist der Gegensatz enorm. Wer bis hierhin gelesen hat, fragt sich jetzt und warum nur 3 Sterne, nun das Essen ist eine Zumutung und darüberhinaus bekommt auch nicht unbedingt die sinnvollen Speisen. Es ist schon eine wahre Frechheit!

Ich wurde am 28.06.2023 hier operiert. Alles gut verlaufen, dank dem freundlichen , aufgeschlossenem , lustigen Personal. Das größte Highlight war, als ich nach der OP aufwachte und Schwester Jana ( hoffe Sie hieß so) mir ein Wassereis brachte. Das war eine Geschmacksexplosion im Mund und Hals. Eine tolle Idee, vielen Dank dafür. Sie hat sich rührend um mich gekümmert. Weiter so!!!!

War heute in der Rettungsstelle vom Dominikus KRH, sehr angenehmes Personal, glücklicherweise keine Wartezeit, sodass ich sofort durchgehen konnte. Selbstverständlich ist das ein glücklicher Zufall gewesen, jedoch bin ich sehr zufrieden.

Wurde sich wirklich zielgerichtet und mit Zeit um mich gekümmert. Ich durfte auch selbst mitbestimmen bei der Entlassung, ob ich mich schon kräftig genug fühlen würde. Es wird nicht nur auf die Werte geachtet. Da viel ausgebildet wird wurde während der Untersuchungen auch viel erklärt, aber trotzdem verständlich auch nochmal für mich zusammengefasst. Wie überall ist Pflegepersonal rar, aber wenn man selbst nicht ständig wegen Kleinigkeiten rumschreit, wird man ebenso entspannt und fürsorglich umsorgt. Ich glaube am anstrengendsten sind ältere, demente Leute, die sich selbständig machen wollen oder die ganze Nacht durchrufen. Dafür sollte es mehr Personal und mehr abgetrennte Bereiche geben. Aber ich war hier sehr gut aufgehoben. WLAN frei, menüauswahl täglich, es gibt einen Garten, ruhig gelegen, nettes junges Personal.
