This arena is absolutely incredible! It was my first experience in such a huge venue and the experience did not disappoint! The arena has a huge capacity and hosts a range of stores (i.e., food, etc.) when shows are on. There are ample amounts of toilet facilities. The staff here are super friendly and happy to help if asked. The crowd management heading into the arena was very well performed. The acoustics of the venue were really great, The Cure sounded absolutely fantastic even from a far distance on one of the highest platforms. The views were incredible!

Capacity of 17k... gives ot a smallish feeling. But it was a cosy venue. Alltwen staff were nice but I had to pay 3 Euro for a cup and then they closed the bar where I got it? Seems a bit of money grabbing tactics to me! But I will come again. Madonna was amazing!

Nice area, shops, and restaurants near the venue. With a mall very close by. It is opposite the East side gallery wall. You just need to cross the road to get to the famous Berlin Wall. The venue itself was clean, warm, and friendly staff. We were there for Madonna... 🎊

Absolutely horrific acoustics and sound for Madonnas concert. Wasted money for a ticket. The bass was great bout the high and middle tones were horrible so that when she was talking no one understood anything. I just don’t understand that after all the checks the sound could be that bad. We heard people talking around us and when people would sing we could barely hear Madonna. Never going to Mercedes Benz Arena in Berlin again

This venue holds a special place in my heart as one of my favorite spots in Berlin, perfect for catching a basketball match, which I am a big fan of. ⛹🏻‍♂️ It’s a delight to also attend concerts here, as every visit is marked by a pleasant experience. 🤩 The arena is well-maintained, clean, and organized, ensuring that every event is enjoyable without any hint of chaos. It’s always a pleasure to spend time here. 🥰

The Mercedes-Benz Arena is a multipurpose indoor arena in the Friedrichshain neighbourhood of Berlin, Germany, which opened in 2008 The huge arena with a capacity of 17,000 people, is very suitable to be the venue for concerts and other sports activities, and the fact this arena become home to the Eisbären Berlin ice hockey club and the Alba Berlin basketball team and this place are used for other ice hockey games, basketball, and handball matches.

I had an amazing experience at Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin for a Backstreet Boys concert in 2022! The arena was well-organized and easy to navigate, with clear signage and friendly staff to assist with any questions. The sound quality was excellent, and the lighting and visual effects added to the overall experience. The seating was comfortable and provided great views of the stage, even from further back. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with a good selection of food and drinks available. The only downside was that the lines for the restrooms and food vendors were quite long and took some time to navigate. Overall, I highly recommend Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin for a great concert experience and look forward to attending future events at this venue! This is world-class stage that can host any concert!

I went to the Mercedes Benz Arena in Berlin to watch a show. It was quite nice, but the place seemed a bit small, I've seen a bigger arena. For being one of the main arenas of Berlin is a bit short of size. Although i liked how organized everything was, how quickly you got in and out. I think this arena is fit for artists not so famous or events like circuses. Overall I liked the place and would love to go to another event here.

I have been here on many different occasions watching concerts and ice hockey. My last visit was watching an opera Aida. This place is well organised and sign posted. There is a parking house close to the arena and the S bahn is near by. There are a lot of restaurants close but I would book way in advance to avoid disappointment.

It was so beautiful and magical. I watched Aida and it was really fantastic! Loved it! The arena itself helps a lot with the atmosphere..

Wir waren bei Kontra K. Lange Schlangen aber der Einlass ging eigentlich ganz schnell. Schöne Akustik, Getränke natürlich nicht gerade preiswert.

Nice clean arena. Had a pretty good view from the second ring. Security check was swift. Only downside is the expensive food options.

I was there for Blink-182 concert and it was amazing! It was my first time inside and it was great! There was a los of people in the line to enter but we had Premium tickets so we got to enter through a different door and it was super fast. Inside they sell drinks and food, of course as expected much more expensive than regular but that's how it usually is inside this events venues. In overall, a great venue! I've seen they also do the Hockey matches here, I'm really looking forward to go to one and see how they adapt the venue for this!

Wonderful concert hall. I guess it is the most fascinating concert hall in all Germany. I've been there for 50Cent concert and enjoyed. People used to gather an hour before and after the show. They all playing music and dancing all around enjoying German beer and food. I definitely recommend it. Also you can see the Berlin wall just around the corner

Alba Berlin! Attention has been given to COVID-19 recommendations, and I sat comfortably without mask and with 1.5+ meters between me and the next fan(s) on all sides. I only saw two of the food stands open, but the were well organized and, again, great attention was given to COVID-19 regulations. My last game was March 2020, and I am happy and relieved that I can attend games again without worrying about my safety or that of others.

One of the most beautiful arenas in Europe, more than that it looks just like an actual NBA arena

I went there because I like the brand. It’s a huge arena with indoor activities and even tournaments take place there.

  • 3/5 Sara K. 5 months ago on Google
There are several entrances, bars and bathrooms, but somehow everything feels a bit messy. Smartly enough, they close the bars quite before the end of the event so you cannot return the cups to get your Pfand back, so unless you're planning on buying ugly plastic cups, I'd recommend bringing your own or making sure to miss a bit of the event to return the cups before.

Good place for big events. Well organised and structured. Good organisation under covid rules as well However, very commercial, could be in any city, not very "Berlin", no character.

Really cool place for concerts. It's small so you'll get a nice view from the artist. Many options to drink and eat at moderate prices. I was here for the first U2 concert from the European leg.

Probably the biggest event arena in Berlin. The facility offer plenty of toilets, kiosks and amenities inside. It's probably better for sport events than concerts to. The acoustic was not great when I have been here to listen music.

  • 5/5 Jon K. 2 years ago on Google
Great venue, queues for toilets, food and drinks kiosks were acceptable, on the lower floors there were also portable food and drink sellers. Smoking is permitted on the balcony. The MBA is short walk from Ost-Bahnhof and Waschauer Strasse train stations and there are plenty of hotels and restaurants in the immediate area.

The ‘Suite’ Life was Sour and Bitter. Awful food. I mean not just bad.,. Abysmal. And after being brushed off By Sven the Manager I have to be Completely truthful. This was the worst nachos I have ever tasted. Cheap Chips and Chicken. Chunks (4) boiled with no Seasoning and akin to Rubber. Inedible. And costing less than a Euro to ‘Make’ but charging 16 Euro? I was fully prepared to transform The concessions into edible entities. But as usual Corporate red tape Deletes Good Intentions. Eat Before You Attend. This is not a drill..

Honestly love going here for shows, comedy, etc. the reason being mainly is that it’s just so damn easy to access and get to and fro, the lines for beer and food are painfully slow though so i recommend eating before you arrive. If you have Amex the Lounge is where you should head to! Looking forward to the next show !

A very cozy and comfortable arena. The concert of Harry Styles was brilliant, the sound system was of very good quality - no echo / reverberation. I highly recommend this place, I felt very safe there. Air conditioning also at a high level. Security also was perfect.

I travelled to Berlin from Manchester to watch Two Steps from Hell. It was an amazing experience, great venue to watch a live orchestra. We were waiting outside for about ten minutes to get in and the drinks were expensive. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Huuuge arena for big crowds, but they still managed to get everyone through the security check and into the arena quite quickly. Inside it was impossible to buy food or drinks unless you were prepared to queue for a really long time. We didn’t even bother to queue up. The line to the ladies room was super long to, but if you head all the way to the ‘left’ on the upper floor you will eventually find another ladies bathroom with no queue at all. Unfortunately the sound quality wasn’t the best during the concert (BSB), but I’m not sure how much that is due to the arena layout and how much that was due to the sound technicians. When they let everyone out after the concert our group got lost and ended up in the closed off premium part of the arena and had to be guided back to where we handed in our coats. Tip: make sure to exit the concert hall through the same entrance you got in through. All in all a nice experience, but not really a concert venue I feel a need to come back to.

I was at a Blackpink concert. It was incredibly bright. Everything is well thought out. The only thing I didn't like was the long queues, and to go to the concert you have to put your bag in a container. And so everything went fine, I was super happy
