While looking for a hotel near the Parkbühne Wuhlheide, I came across the Hotel Bett und Buch. If you are looking for something very fine and small, you have come to the right place. My friends and I were very satisfied, be it the friendliness of the staff, the location, the breakfast offerings, the names of the hotel rooms or the room furnishings themselves. The beds are very comfortable. People who have very restless sleep should make sure that they have a room facing the back yard. It was perfect for us and we will definitely come back. :)

Wow!!! What a find and what a place! First off, the place is a bakery, so the breakfast is awesome and so fresh. The coffee is great and the service is great. The rooms are really nice. Well appointed and super clean. I really really enjoyed my stay here. The family live up the top and they are so helpful with any information you may have. Top place, thank you!!!

We had reserved several rooms well in advance, but small changes were made until the rooms were finally used. Very pleasant service and friendly staff. We had a top breakfast brunch in a large group. We and our guests really liked the concept with the books. Without exception, everyone told us nothing but positive things! Thanks so much! We would be happy to book again.

If you're looking for an insider tip for a café just outside the city, you've come to the right place. In the small, sunny, Mediterranean-style backyard you can relax and enjoy delicious homemade cakes or one of the lovingly prepared baguettes. I can't say anything about the rooms, but the service is always courteous and friendly. Definitely worth recommending.

Very nice, clean hotel with a lot of charm. The rooms do not have classic room numbers but are named after writers. The hotel also has a baguette room - here too the selection and service is first class. It wasn't the last time we visited the hotel. Many thanks to the nice, courteous staff!

We were only there for breakfast. You have to order breakfast at the counter, but it is then brought to your table. There are ready-made baguettes or rolls. But you can also put everything together yourself. There are also scrambled eggs. We were happy with the food. Everything freshly prepared and delicious.

I discovered this beautiful hotel in my old hometown of Berlin-Köpenick. We were completely satisfied with our stay. Checking in outside reception hours is completely uncomplicated. The hotel is lovingly furnished and our room was comfortable and clean. We slept well here. The sounds of the tram didn't bother us at all, it was so familiar. In the attached café we were able to have a delicious breakfast or a snack and unwind. There is a beautiful little courtyard that has been lovingly landscaped. You can sit really romantically here. We hope to be guests again soon and look forward to the next time.

Friendly staff, room very clean, I felt very comfortable here for 5 days. The scrambled egg baguette is particularly delicious. But you can also have rolls topped with it. I would have liked some more fruit for breakfast, but that's just a suggestion. Gladly again :)

Great hotel with a good location in Köpenick and a clean room. 10min walk to the Union. You wake up with the smell of freshly baked bread rolls from the cafe on the ground floor. Breakfast on site is a delight!

Perfect all around! Authentic from front to back. There are a variety of books to explore on every corner. Plus, the place is great and extremely tasty.

Clean and good, cheap breakfast that you can put together yourself. The room was a closet of incredible, dark brown ugliness with ancient furniture. The bed was an imposition with the ancient mattress, which had bulges or springs that pressed painfully into the hip area and made for a sleepless night. There is no storage space in the shower and a sink no bigger than a toothbrush cup. In addition, a very noisy location.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not show any goodwill in the event of short-term illness and claims that they had booked a room that cannot be canceled free of charge. We informed the hotel directly in the morning (many hours before a possible check-in) and only received an answer 3 (!) days later. We have never experienced anything like this in other hotels. Be it train or flight delays or a short-term illness, you were always accommodating and could rebook accordingly without additional costs. Addendum: When it comes to a public bad review, you obviously get a response very quickly…. We always book via the portal mentioned and even if cancellation costs are standard in the industry, most hotels are more concerned with customer satisfaction than with their own profit, no matter how much you paid for the room, especially since we didn't choose that we actually have to cancel completely due to illness. You could have simply changed the booking to a different date as a gesture of goodwill. So next time we will book a different hotel.

Great service if your arrival is delayed you get information about checking in, rooms were clean and relatively comfortable. Hearing protection was also provided to protect against street noise, which is limited in winter when the windows are closed. Day bed a bit too small in the single room, but that can be a matter of opinion. The heating could have been on beforehand. Breakfast is also very good and actually reasonably priced. The only small problem I have is the shower, the doors no longer hold together or are not adjusted correctly. This creates a small puddle in front of the shower and you have to play with the doors so they don't open completely. And thermostatic fittings might already be standard today. Otherwise a great hotel for the price/performance ratio! Gladly again!

We were on a men's tour over the Easter weekend and decided to cycle the Wall Cycle Path in three days. We chose the Bed and Book Hotel as the start and finish hotel. Everything was to our satisfaction and uncomplicated. We were able to leave our cars in the parking lot opposite for three days free of charge, and the bicycles were stored in the garage overnight. Single rooms were small but nice. Breakfast in the baguetterie was very good. And the old town is right around the corner.

A simply pleasant place to feel good. We celebrated a birthday party at Baguette & Buch and stayed overnight at Bett & Buch at the same time. Everything worked perfectly and was friendly, calm and delicious! I think the idea of continuing the idea of books in the house of an old library and “carrying it through” through the hotel and café is wonderful. It was a nice way to end the evening in bed with an old Brecht Reclam ham and read. The house is full of small, original details - you can feel that someone has put a lot of energy, warmth and creativity into it. I hope that this place will stay with us for a long time and that we can come back for the next family celebration. Totally recommended.

Highly recommended, very nice rooms and totally quiet on the courtyard side. You can sleep there with the window open and not hear the street. You have to be a bit lucky to park, but if you do, they're free on the street. Or you can use the parking garage nearby. The baguette shop on the ground floor is highly recommended, not only baguettes with different toppings but also scrambled eggs etc. are tasty. The best thing is the smell of freshly baked goods in the house when you go from the room downstairs to the baguetterie. Always happy!

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Berlin! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, All respect for the general manager who did a great job,. I highly recommend this lovely, family run hotel. Owners are friendly, helpful and make you feel at home.

Wonderful place with very friendly and helpful stuff. They really made me feel welcomed. The room was super clean and I loved the concept of having names of writers, instead of numbers, to denote the rooms. In the morning, you can have a nice breakfast in the cozy common dining room for a reasonable price. The only downside was that there was no shampoo & shower gel in the bathroom, but it is okay I gusss :)

😠 Outrageous pricing policy, service and management! When you order a steak menu you get a salad (normal price 4.80 €) if you choose a different starter instead, it says on the menu: "We charge 3.00 €). In my opinion, this meant an extra charge of 3 euros. So I ordered one Another starter. The bill w...
