When you mix something old (classic Bermuda CHARM and TRADITION) with something new (excellent customer service and modern approach), you get Ascots. Perfect place to stay, eat, meet... Good location (unless you want to be on a beach). Great menu and attentive Staff. Business meeting or family celebration - always happy endings. And don't tell me that taking kids there is like spoiling them... It is like teaching them a good taste from early age (maybe except for taste of vine, of course 😊). Recommend.

Great night out at Ascots during our recent trip to Bermuda! Our server was excellent (albeit I could have moved a bit quicker between courses) and the food was great. We ordered the mussels as they were on special and they were hands down the best mussels I’ve ever had in my life. Even thinking about them again now has me craving them. Absolutely delicious. The mains and dessert were also tasty. Will definitely return next time we’re in Bermuda. 5 stars!

Food is always so bland! I shouldn't have to ask to use salt and garlic in my food at an Italian restaurant.

Outstanding dinner tonight. Started with the chicken & mushroom crepe. It was almost a meal on its own and delicious. Chose the beef short rib for an entree. So good. I loved the sauce. Ended with the lemon & blueberry sorbets. Also amazing. We took home a slice of the amaretto cheesecake (for breakfast). The food was excellent. The wine was perfection. The cost of the dinner, especially compared to other restaurants this week, was great but the standout was the service. Our waiter “Honey” made sure we would be coming back but I will make sure he is working and we can be seated in his area. Thank you Neil for a very memorable birthday dinner! 5 unflinching stars.

The dinner at Ascots was our best meal in Bermuda The location is beautiful. We had a cocktail in the garden, which was lovely. Both cocktails were very well made Our table was next to an open window looking out into the garden, also very lovely The waitstaff was friendly, professional and very attentive The food was delicious. Note the menu is a three-course prix fixe and the portions are generous (we split both our dishes and had plenty to eat) The snails in puff pastry and the braised short ribs were both excellent. One of the most fantastic dining experiences I have ever had. To start off, you must have a drink or two at the bar before being seated, it is the best way to start off the amazing evening you are sure to have. And as an appetizer I highly recommend escargot, cooked to perfection and deliciously buttery. Apart from the fantastic dinner, the wait staff here are excellent! A reservation is a must, the place fills up quickly.

We recently held our office Christmas luncheon at Ascot's, and as usual, they did not disappoint! The staff are always attentive, knowledgable and friendly. The special holiday menus were extensive, with something on offer to suit everyone in the group... including an entirely vegetarian special holiday menu! The food was delicious, and the ambiance was warm, welcoming and festive... a luncheon thoroughly enjoyed by all of us!

Good place in the town. We had couple pasta dishes and they were very good. Pizza was just ok. Atmosphere is nice, has a charm to it. They were out of Chianti when we were there so that was a bit disappointing, but we had sone Cab wine instead, it wasn't best but doable. Overall satisfied with the dinner we had there and would recommend for both food, service and ambiance.

This is a great family restaurant in the Washington Mall - they are *very* kid friendly (couples seeking a romantic chic evening beware!). Good food, excellent pizza, ok service.

So far the best pizza (and pizza selection) on the island. Many other places serve 'flat bread' paninis with toppings and charge almost as much as a full pizza. The rest of the menu is varied as well. Neat service, friendly staff. Good beer and wine selection. Will visit often.

Angelo was amazing to deal with and actually went out of his way to deliver the gift card to a florist for me. This level of service is rare! I was thrilled to find that they served whole wheat spaghetti with chickpea and egg plant parmigiana, my two favorite Italian dishes. Unfortunately, they only served the eggplant parmigiana dish as an appetizer, and it was expensive for the small portion. They wouldn't serve it as a dinner size dish. The sauce for the pasta dish was just OK. I have had better sauces. The pasta it self was done well. The restaurant didn't provide and bread, and when one of us asked for a second glass of wine, it never came.

Popular alley spot for pizza but we sat outside and went for a variety of shared plates, lasagna, several other pastas, fabulous desserts, and great drinks. Staff was exceptional in terms of service and especially humor. A fabulous night out for our group of five.

Edited Oct 2020: check out THIS fish sandwich! The Chicken Milanese on Ciabatta and the childrens grilled cheese is yummy! My favorite family restaurant. Staff are wonderful. Childrens menu has variety and good portion sizes.

Went with my family for dinner and had a good time, the servers were really nice. The food was nice and a big portion too, would recommend.

The wine 🙌🏼 and Bermuda only wood burning pizza oven — the way pizza is supposed to be made!! Hands down, all the food was delicious. The waitstaff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is so comfortable, we felt like we could hang out all night. Will be returning.

An Italian restaurant that you can never go wrong with! I have been coming here for years. Great friendly service every time, and of course yummy pasta and pizza. If you like wines and you're visiting with a group, I definitely recommend ordering a "chicken" (i.e. one of their famous wine jugs).

Penne Gamberi E Arugula - Penne, shrimp, arugula and creamy shrimp bisque was absolutely amazing accompanied with a glass of Montepulciano, Zaccagnini. The restaurant is located down a quaint alley surrounded by great shops. I took advantage of the outdoor seating to satisfy my people watching experience.

I am used to the great customer service but on certain occasions I have run into age discrimination i.e. I was asked if I wanted a coloring book and when I rejected it the waiter didn’t come back with my menu. #agediscrimination #thechildstruggles
