3 time visiting. 2nd time getting the chicken and waffle. Waffle was great, chicken was over cooked. Most of my chicken wasn't edible (pictured on the plate with the lime). The Campana taco was great. Glass a bit cloudy. I normally get a to-go cup everywhere I go.

Loved the ambiance here. The service was good. I ordered a cocktail and a veggie burrito. The chips and Salsa kept coming and their salsa is a deal breaker. The place was full on a Saturday afternoon but the service was very good. Just a heads up - Their lunch menu starts from 3pm (we didnt know that earlier) it has a few additional food items. Overall a great experience.

Great location in the heart of the gulch, a 10min walk from union Square hotel or grand hyatt downtown. Cool vibe with wide open trendy setting, craft margaritas and full food menu. Highly recommend

Went here on Dia De Los Muertos and they had a special menu. Loved the pomegranate paloma! This place is for meat eaters, of course but veggie-friendly if you ask. Ingredients fresh, yummy sauce for the potato taco. Our waitress Celina did an amazing job recommending dishes and checking on us!

If you’re lucky enough to have Beck as your bartender, you’re having a great time here. Super cool guy, accommodating, and happy to get whatever you need! Homeboy showed up with a broken wrist and still managed to pour some delicious drinks. Thanks, Beck!

Really enjoyed this restaurant! The food was really good. I ordered 3 tacos, queso, and a drink. I had the chicken taco, and 2 birria tacos, they were really delicious. I ordered mine without onion and cilantro and my waiter made sure that they didn't have it on there, when the table reordered extra tacos, he made sure again that mine was right. The drink I got was okay. The queso was good and the chips were super fresh. I also really liked the waiters/waitress' t-shirts with the sugar skulls!

This is my new favorite spot in the gulch to grab a drink. I just came to see if this place can dethrone bartaco for best margarita in Nashville. I can not say it now, but it was super close. I'll be back here soon to review the food and drinks as well. ***Update Came in for a healthy lunch and was decently impressed with the food. I got the guac and chips, which were fresh and topped with onion tomatoes and cilantro. It needed a bit of salt for my partner, but i loved it with the fresh lime juice on top. Their crudite is topped with tajin and spices, which is a nice touch. Also, I got a side of black beans because the measure of a tex mex spot for me are these two things. The black beans are my favorite so far in Nashville. If you love black beans, it's worth the trip, and they are served in cast iron, which is a very cool presentation. The tortilla chips were warm, and they kept them in a warmer behind. The bar. Tried the carne asada quesidilla it was cheesey and even better with a bit of my salad in it. The salads are very generously dressed, so if that's bot your jazz, get it on the side. The atmosphere is dope it feels open and social at the same time. The music is present but not overpowering, and there are 6 tvs at the bar. This would be a great spot to catch the game. I did try their margarita thebsecond time. The first time, I gave the bartender a recipe I liked, and he crushed it, so yeah, the bartenders are good. The second time I ordered their house margarita and it was basically identical to bartaco a little less lime juice so its safe to call these 1a and 1b in Nashville right infront of Nectar(if you count Donelson) or Calacas downtown(if you don't). The menu is simple and not overwhelming, but each dish sounds amazing, so it's hard to choose. I'll be back to try a bunch of different things when I come back. The bar and restaurant are connected in a very aztec type of layout, which is dope. The open air seating of the indoor to outdoor bar is super cool. If you are craving latin cuisine, I highly recommend this sopt on a sunny day. It was also amazing at night, especially during a full moon. It's not great for a first date as the exits are awkward and a bit misleading the first time you go. If you are familar with the layout, then all that changes. A date night here is great, especially at one of the corner tables or at the bar. The lighting and ambiance are chill yet subtly romantic. The lighting breathes an energy that is both infectious and romantic. There's even plenty of room for your pup on the patio area. You have to check out this bar. I highly recommend this place to tex mex and Latin cuisine fiends. You won't be disappointed.

Great place to come grab a bite and enjoy the view outside! The server was really nice and friendly. I recommend this place!! We come all the way from Chicago, and the server is from our town!! Small world!! I grabbed the chicken fajitas, and they were really well cooked and tasted great!!!

Went in for the happy hour and wasn't disappointed. Half price pitcher of margaritas, one hell of a deal. Decided to try a new tequila just for sipping and the bartender was very knowledgeable about the different tequila they have.

I'll start by saying I don't enjoy giving negative reviews, but my experience at Saint Añejo wasn't the greatest by far. Overall, the food wasn't that bad. I've had worse tacos by far and the price is mostly in-line with most major cities at this point. Before I discuss the food I would like discuss the atmosphere because it felt strange. Our wait went roughly 20-30 minutes over the projected time, which is what it is. There were lots of open tables, but I'm assuming they were quite short staffed. Some of the staff seemed pretty stressed out and they looked to be quite busy. However, it didn't look like management was stepping in and helping any of the staff. I didn't have a manager ask how we were doing that evening or anything, but they did stand in front of our booth and watch TV in the bar. It was bothersome to watch some staff struggle and management seemingly watch them drown. The overall atmosphere felt like none of the staff wanted to be there. The food wasn't bad at all. We started with guacamole and it was good, but quite a small portion at the price point. Some parts could have been better though, such as the hot chicken taco. As other reviews stated it does have a slightly sweeter taste which tastes kind of strange. I was particularly excited for the Mahi Mahi taco and asked for it to be crispy, but it came out grilled. It wasn't bad so I didn't complain. The al pastor wasn't bad at all, but I've had much better al pastor for a lot cheaper. The standout taco was the crispy potato. It was really delicious! One of the best parts of the meal was the drinks. The old fashioned I had was very good and I was pretty impressed with it and my wife's drink. Overall, I feel like Saint Añejo has potential to be really good and maybe some nights are better than others; but right now they're just not there.

We enjoyed dinner here. Our server Jonathan was friendly and attentive. My husband had the steak quesadilla and I had tacos with rice and beans. Chips and salsa was delicious. The entrees could have been hotter and my tortillas were a bit chewy. The pitcher of margaritas gives you about four servings and tasted freshly made. Overall, a little pricey but enjoyable.

Nothing special, doesn’t keep up to the hype. Quesadilla was salty, hot chicken tacos was sweet, classic old fashion was not to the point. But 4/5 for my Jalisco flower margarita!

Was in town from Milwaukee. On our first day someone recommended this and said it would be the best we ever had. Let me tell you they were right and the atmosphere was top notch and everyone was friendly

What a treat! Arrived in Nashville at 10.30a and after an early check-in at the hotel we looked for a nearby lunch destination. Advertised as a “hip” Mexican Restaurant and only .3 miles away we decided to give it a try. GREAT decision. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress Cee-Cee was very pleasant, patient and personable. All the tables get chips and salsa. We ordered queso as a side, and when everything arrived we polished off the chips in minutes. It’s the little details, but that’s what separates the good from the great. The chips arrive at the table, in a paper bag, hot and properly salted. The bag of chips get poured into a table top basket and it’s chow time. For lunch I ordered steak fajitas which were cooked fresh. If you look at the pictures you can see the pink traces in the meat. Unlike other places where the beef is way over cooked because it’s pre-cooked to expedite serving the food to customers, this meat was cooked when my order hit the kitchen. And the seasoning and garnish was fabulous. Superb. My wife ordered the burrito which can be ordered with chicken or a variety of other proteins, and salsa on the side. It was excellent. Since everything was so good we decided to try dessert and ordered Churros. These were “hip” churros, authentic in taste, but creative in preparation. These churros looked like a traditional cake donut, circular with ridges. The pictures do not do them justice, they were perfect. Don’t miss this place if you get a chance! We will visit again!

Delicious! Stopped here on our last night in town. The atmosphere was a nice change of pace from hectic Broadway scene😅 Maci M was our server and she was great. She cleared many many tables while we were there and was still very attentive to us. She even spent time taking about Taylor Swift with us 😆 drinks, food, service was excellent.

Yum! Comfy Mexican place with complimentary fresh warm tortilla chips and salsa while you decide what to order. I had the hot chicken Taco (excellent!) And the shrimp Taco (just ok). Nice and attentive staff, great drink selection and cocktails. Nice large spacious atmosphere. The walk-in wait for our table was 20 min on a Sat pm for 5, which was accurate. Recommended!

Food was really good. Chips, Guac, salsa - fresh Guac, crispy chips, and flavorful salsa Tacos - had all 4 (brunch menu) - the potato one wasn’t great but the other 3 were terrific Burritos - big, filling, and flavorful Bloody Mary with bacon - so good. Not too spicy (ordered the 1) and super delicious All in all great place. Would def recommend.

The staff are great! Expect long wait times but totally worth it. Greg the manager on duty when I visited last was very kind and told me about the other establishments they also operate. The atmosphere is very fun and lots of room for big groups.

Went to this place for drinks before dinner and absolutely loved everything. They have an amazing and extensive selection of tequila and mezcal and make some awesome cocktails. Also really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa.

Barbacoa tacos, next time that's all we'll order..lol. The other tacos were good but wow, get the Brisket tacos. Maybe it was just an off day but DON'T get the Carnitas anything, wasn't good at all.

The Hot Chicken tocos were life changing! Some of the best I’ve even had, I’ve been raving about them to my girlfriend on our drive home and she thinks it’s funny, but this is serious. They are phenomenal tocos. Get them. This is toco evangelism. The other tocos are good too, but the chicken and the habanero-agave sauce on the Hot Chicken tocos are so good! The service was also great! We had to wait a bit for a table because it seems that they were short staffed, but that’s not unusual right now and it was well worth it! Our waiter was also amazing! She was very friendly and asked off the bat about any allergies (which is rare and so nice if you have an allergy) then she made sure nothing had that ingredient! She was also knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients of items, and what things tasted like (example: warning if a drink was very sweet). All in all I definitely recommend! Great food, great atmosphere, and friendly and attentive staff!

I am a sucker for Mexican food but Saint Anejo takes it to a whole new level. This was the best birthday dinner. Thank you to the General Manager Elizabeth for making it special. Carne asada was some of the best I've had not to mention the Margaritas were amazing!

Great atmosphere! Loved the pitcher of margaritas. Food was good, just slightly underwhelmed about the tacos. My husband's burrito was great!!
