Bar Brewpub Beer garden Farmers market

😐 The idea of a beer garden nestled within a farmers market food court is nothing short of inspired. While I don't expect a regal procession replete with spoon-feeding, I do anticipate basic hospitality. Alas, that seemed to be off the menu. The pièce de résistance of awkwardness? Being asked to spell... People often mention beer, cheese,

The idea of a beer garden nestled within a farmers market food court is nothing short of inspired. While I don't expect a regal procession replete with spoon-feeding, I do anticipate basic hospitality. Alas, that seemed to be off the menu. The pièce de résistance of awkwardness? Being asked to spell out the full name of my beer—Music City Citrus Wheat—because apparently, 'wheat beer' was too cryptic a clue for only wheat beer on the menu. Yes, the beer was crisp and the hot dog sublime, but the atmosphere was frostier than a chilled pint glass. A one-and-done experience, I'm afraid.

We spent a week at a nearby Airbnb and came here 4 times! Our very picky girls loved the hot dogs while we enjoyed the atmosphere and beer. Wed night bingo was a hit with the whole family! Ashley even called me afterwards to pass along a prize, which is now proudly displayed behind our home bar.

The hot dog selection was great I had a hard time just picking one! I like the unique and eclectic selection. The sides were all homemade and delicious I had the coleslaw it was fresh and crunchy. The beer was good and the service was friendly.

We were only in town for one day and just didn't have time to go to try different local breweries, of which Nashville appears to have a plethora. Thankfully, this is a great place to sample several local pours. The bartender was super friendly and loved to talk about the beers and kept giving samples even after I tasted the few I was most interested in....Amazing!

Picnic tap is the perfect little beer garden to grab lunch after visiting the farmers market. For $25 we got the Shia LaBuffalo hot dog, soft pretzel with cheese, one cider, and a bag of chips. The employee was very friendly and made good conversation with everyone who he helped, while running the place himself. Bravo Picnic Tap!

Wow. Those three letters pretty much sum it up. As at least one other review said, I wasn't expecting much, but these folks delivered. Beer selection was great and the hot dogs were probably some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this place if you need a bite to eat walking around the farmers market.

Ordered a grilled cheese.... was supposed to have cheddar cheese and pimento cheese. Worker offered a sample of the pimento cheese. It was delicious. Received the item.. it was on a hot dog bun and barely had any cheese and a foul taste. Asked the worker if it was made correctly and she said they add worcestershire sauce to the cheese. It tasted horrible.

Wasn’t expecting much, honesty. Until I had the weekend special, which was a cheddar beer brat and it slapped! The Chicago dog is really good too. This was a pleasant surprise finding this gem.

We stopped in here for a couple of beers and had a great experience. Nice beer selection, super friendly bartender and plenty of seating. We were also able to chat with the owner who is super nice.
