The place was nice and the food seemed authentic and was fairly good and reasonably priced. But, the service was horrible. The waiter seemed moody, annoyed and unengaged. It took forever for us to be served, to get drinks and get the cheque.

You can try Belgian traditional foods here. I tried the special Belgian plate for 2 people twice. First experience was amazing and the food was super tasty but the second experience was not as good as the first one.

The hotel recommends this typical Belgian food restaurant and it did not disappoint, excellent traditional Belgian food and good service. I recommend the super mega creamy Flemish beef stew, the very tender Carme and an incredible flavor. A big 10!

Friendly place with a quiet outdoor dining spot. Decent food and a great selection of Belgian beers. And if your little one is still in diapers, there are changing areas in the women's AND men's restrooms.

I was in at early lunchtime. Lively, but not crowded. It has some interesting ecclesiastical decorations, including a thurible.

I applaud that they have vegan options on the menu, but don't take the vegan "stoofvlees". I was shocked by how bad it was and even more so considering the price (19 EUR). To make things worse, the fries are industrial.

Traditional Belgian dishes are delicious, especially stoofvlees. But others, e.g. salmon, steak, ribs are not that good. Waiters behave to every customer differently, which is not good.

We ordered multiple dishes, for the starters the Shrimps garlic butter was delicious, the salad with cheese mozzarella was nice, the fried potato was okay. The main dishes i had filet which was very dry i couldn't eat it, the spaghetti was decent, the hamburger was also a bit overcooked. The cream brulee dessert was not good also. The drinks and cocktails were good. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the location is good in city center, we didn't enjoy the food that much.

We got blood sausage as a starter which has a unique taste but I managed to eat it. The main dish lacked a bit of taste and the dessert was perfect as it was not too sweet. I guess the kitchen was just keen to feed 50 people as fast as they could. It is not a restaurant I would go and pay with my own money. It is average.

Not great. And if you're in need they won't give you free tapwater, selfish. Wouldn't recommend the lasagne either.

Old-fashioned atmosphere and rich in character. Accommodated us with a good table when full and busy. Good food and beer. Thoughtful and interesting waiter took time with us.

The service crew was not nice. Almost took them half an hour to take our order and when I waved my hand and told him our table was ready to order he gave me a mocking smile and ignored me, he was not even busy. Anyway, when it was time to serve to food they just dumped it a bit harshly on our table as if they were not happy to give us our order. When we were done and ready to pay the waiter joined our conversation and gave some uncomfortable and unnecessary comments, it felt a bit weird. Although somehow as the conversation went on it was okay and at least he tried to converse and tried to be hospitable. The food was good though and the place is cozy.

Old times ambiance. Variety of dishes to choose from, stew is generally safe choice and of course beer! Service is rather neutral.

Food was average. Burger was 👌👌 Wings were too oily I forgot the name of rice dish but it was not good. Bolognese was 👎👎👎

We had Belgian meat platter for 2…fries and crockets from freezer, mayo from store and rest of food very average quality, long waiting…not worth a second visit…howewer, good portion size and good beer

Cherry bear was good! The stew was nice but salty, and we did not like the ice creem. And the waiter could behave better.

My favourite restaurant in Leuven. Good food, acceptable prices, pleasant setting. Just a pitty about the terrible waiter service, they all have the same stiff-neck attitude - which is a clear sign from management.

Their beers are nice and smooth despite quite strong so, just beware. We had a group reservation for a brunch and wanted to have dinner after a few beers. They were so surprised that made the staff frozen and at first just denied to serve. It took some minutes for a native speaker among us to persuade them to let us order, but still they remained aggrieved while serving. So the whole circus was just so unnecessary.

This restaurant is huge with so many rooms and levels with an outside area but you can’t reserve it online. Had a great Flemish stew and their own beer. All the food was good and came quickly. The waiters on the other hand were spread thin and took forever to get served. I’ve been here in different seasons and it’s the best place in town to eat.

The food is very good, I hope the staff were kinder and more responsible

We had a special family lunch today and it was fabulous. Our waiter was really friendly and efficient. We chose to sit inside because the wind was strong and chilly, despite the sunshine. We got our food and drinks relatively quickly after ordering. We started out with two platters of appetisers so that everyone had enough - all were tasty and there were several sauces to choose from. Most of us got the stoofvlees (Flemish beef stew) made with one of the Domus beers, although there was one order of steak, and one vol-au-vont (chicken and gravy). Several of us also had a soup course with a delicious mushroom soup made with another of the Domus beers. Everyone was happy with their meal, and the beers were delicious. Three of us split a crème brûlée made with a third kind of Domus beer. All in all, a lovely, big family lunch. It was so good, I forgot to get many pictures! 🤭

The beer and steak are quite good. However the price is not cheap. It costs €230 for 5 people. However the waiter has some discrimination that is not a good thing

Cozy interior, personally recommend their Flemish beef stew. The rest of the food we ordered feels a bit heavy, suits someone who enjoys rather a big feast. Also the beer menu set is perfect for people who wanted to try more variety of Con Domus beer. Don’t expect friendly table service, staffs are always in a rush. We haven’t even finish ordering, the staff have already hastily took off. Yet looking on the bright side, you can expect speedy food serving. Also a small warning on the cocktail, way too sweet. Recommend to either try the Con Domus beer, or visit to a nearby Cocktail bar after your meal.

The food is alright, though it's kinda hit an mis. The ambience inside is great, very cozy. The staf does seem a bit on edge. Not unfriendly, just a bit overworked and stressed.

Lovely ambiance and decor!!! The homebrew bear if very nice. A bit sour for some tastes, but we loved it. The place has a good atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly. Prices are normal. A bit high on the food, but it's the same in other places around.

It was a typical Belgium food. The taste was okay. However, there was a mistake on order, so i had to pay more. Confirm what you ordered before a waitor goes since it's hard to see him again

Drinks and food 10/10... Unfortunately, customer-oriented service and courtesy are not the top priority, a pity! I don't want to blame the employees, but I have the feeling that my background played a role here

The place looks nice and the appetizer was pretty good, but the rest of my experience was pretty awful. We all took 3 different main courses and we were all left dissapointment. Second, we couldn't get a server to help us for almost the whole duration of our stay. At the end we wanted a dessert, but it took so long to make a server notice us, we eventually decided to ask the reciept instead.

The best place. With the best pasta and their own brewed beer. I love that the portions are really big and they taste really good. The atmosphere is really comfortable and i enjoy the free bread. service is extremely good and the people are really kind.
