I called the office to ask them if I could be 15 min late to my appointment. The Spanish lady said no because they had 3 more patients after my appointment and the doctor does not want to leave late. I ended up sending someone else with my daughter and they arrived there 20 minutes before the appointment time just to be told that the doctor was not going to take her because they had too many patients and he did not want to be there until late. She was there before her appointment time and because I had called to see if I could come a few minutes late they refused to see her even though she got there before her appointment time. I asked to speak with the doctor and she said no because he was with a patient and couldn’t come to the phone. She didn’t even went and asked him if he could speak with me and when i asked to speak with him again she said that she was going to put me on hold but she didn’t know if he was going to pick up the phone. If you are looking for a family dentist, this one does not like to stay late. So maybe making an appointment early in the morning will give you better changes of getting seen. Although, they are also good for cancelling appointments the day before with the excuse that they don’t do cleanings on the days that they originally scheduled you.

The front desk people are so rude & tries to talk over you. The new staff all together is not friendly at all. They don’t even make you feel comfortable with the looks & side conversations they have. I’ve been coming here for years but maybe it’s time I find a new dental office.

Went to this office for years growing up and it was at times torture, literally. Unprofessional staff, disorganized, etc.

Update: A lot, if not all, the root canels that I have received from here have failed. My newer dentists found nerves that may have been missed during these procedures. I've spent so much money getting my root canels redone. ___ I think I've found my new dentist and this is an amazing feat being that I have lived in DC for almost 10 years and had yet to find a dentist that I could tolerate, much less liked. Dr. Harding is extremely nice and cares about the patient before anything else. His staff is awesome and professional as well. I highly recommend him for all your dentist needs and I plan to make him my dentist for as long as I am in the DMV area.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! I had terrifying and painful experiences in the past. The staff and medical personal in THIS office were so friendly and encouraging. Dr. Kim is extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and has an awesome bedside/chairside manner. He patiently answered all my questions and reassured me without making me feel silly for my fears. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kim and his office to everyone! Trust me--I know what a bad dentist is....and Dr. Kim is the opposite--he is EXCELLENT! Love him, and trust him!! Thank you to Amy too-she was so pleasant, welcoming, and professional at the front desk! To sum up: No pain, lots of gain!!!

The first issue I had is with gentleman that works there who is not event the dentist at all yet was speaking to me as if he was while Dr Harding was allowing him to talk me in relations to a cosmetic procedure. The young guy sat there dangling his legs talking to me as if we were just hanging out I was not comfortable at all with the entire set up as such so I asked very confused state of mind of who he was and why he was even addressing me in such ways when he’s not even the dentist Anyway I asked him in front of Dr. Hardin about such matters that did not pertain to him They both laughed and never apologizing at all Then my other complaint is that between the 2 dentist there they each have me a different evaluation outcome about my general dental X-rays & examination I discussed with each all matters of my teeth since I was told by Dr Harding to Dr Semia. It’s how I was told you spell his name by the office Manager. Anyway it should not be that one dentist say I need crowns and even root canals yet the other says I only need to fillings I never told the other what they other said so I could see if they were being honest with me Anyway I been to other dentist prior and I was not told I needed crowns nor root canals but just a filling here and there Also I want to add that as many have stated they constantly have scheduling issues I had a dental appointment to get fillings then office manger said I could not come in yo the appointment I was given and have to wait 3 months later. She was very rude in the way she spoke to me I was told even that they would not let me get the cleaning my insurance covered at least and would have to do what the dentist wanted so they could change me out of pocket costs. No where else I been to have ever been this way Other dental practices don’t run this way in such UNPROFESSIONAL MANNERS. I agree with some of the other reviews about that and their laughing discussing matters about the patients amongst one another This is happening because it starts with the top who is Dr Harding who even encourages such unprofessional behaviors and laughs himself. I’m sure he’s not doing so though with those who do not have state insurance. His professionalism should extend to all his patients though There should not be any discrimination going on in his practice and all should be treated with professionalism. Him being funny is not the issue yet him overstepping unprofessional boundaries is in the way of even allowing his staff to carry on as they do with just certain patients disrespectfully is an issue I have nothing negative to say about the other dentist Dr Semai. I though not had much dealing with him but once. He was professional and told me the truth about what I needed in the matter of esp the 2 fillings. Yet the scheduling staff including the office manger kept changing the dates and all. So I’m no longer going there since I can’t wait now 3 months due to their own incompetencies I’m 53 years old and I have never in my life been through such things. It’s sad. I hope others will beware that’s why I took the time to write a review

My last visit went bad. The dental asst. shouted "You're Late"... Visit went downhill after that. I let her know that her customer skills needed work. She shouted back that she doesn't take critizism from a bad customer... staff had to remove her... just avoid until they get a good office manager....

I will not be returning to this dental office. My first negative experience there was when I scheduled my very first appointment. They called a few days later to reschedule because the office was having a “training day”(should’ve been the first red flag). Then when I arrive for my first appointment, I noticed the front desk lady seem flustered. The poor front desk lady was arguing with, her boss I’m assuming, about the dentist and how they were not getting along... It all seemed messy but I stayed. Once my check up was complete, I was told I would receive an email with prices for the dental procedure that was recommended. I never received that email! Now I just got a text message saying that my appointment has been confirmed!!! What appointment? I did not schedule one nor am I planning to ever return to this dental office. Please take me off of your mailing list. Thank you.

I have been going to Dr. Harding Associates for 9 years now. I had my braces done here great service. The staff here is VERY professional and makes your visit more enjoyable. Especially, lady at the front desk. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for new dentist!!!!!

Well , I must be honest that I had a fantastic moment with Dr. Harding because my colleague told me it's a painful procedure. I was so scared that I had to call the secretary to express my fears and to cancel the appointment even though my tooth was really hurting me. I was ready to call off the appointment but the secretary tried to put away that initial thought I had. She told me Dr. Harding is an experienced dentist and I felt it today. I didn't feel any pain and the doctor and his team are just wonderful people to trust. Secondly, Dr. Harding puts care first not money. I didn't have the full amount for the co-pay but nonetheless, the procedure was done with an option to pay in three flexible payment. How many of such doctors are there ? Well done Dr. Harding for helping me get the hope that I will enjoy my sleep tonight. Thank you and I will recommend you to my family and friends.
