Although the place itself is absolutely peaceful , clean and comfortable- and the booking is friendly and efficient. It just goes downhill because the old lady who lives on the premises is a nightmare. She was sour and unpleasant. As a hostess she made us feel most uncomfortable and was bordering on rude with her constant remarks and hovering at the doorway by the entrance of the penthouse we booked

I can't report everything. This would take too much time. But important is one thing. Everything is very stylishly furnished. A fully equipped kitchen and the grill outside the door, leave nothing to be desired. DSTV and Wireless Internet are working well! A very familial feeling you get as a luxury extra. All in all, a Guesthouse where you can feel very comfortable! I'll come back if I can! Really 1+++ because i saw many Guesthouses and Hotels before!

Very nice accommodation! One of the best I've been to. Very neat and tidy all round! I'll definitely be back when I can.

What a lovely venue. The room was very well set up for self-catering. Nice to hear the birds in the trees while sitting outside.

Myself and my manager prefer staying here. Excellent. However it will be nice if you can start investing in loadshedding back up for wifi connection and general lighting. The wifi reception is very poor even with no loadshedding.

I enjoyed my stay, I actually loved being alone and left alone. It's a self- catering accommodation. It's very clean to a point of frustration as they nearly packed away even my organised mess, Lol. I loved it

WOW! What a peaceful, quiet and beautiful guesthouse! The braai unit was a bonus! The staff and management so helpful and friendly. They will definitely see me again!

The modern and stylish finish is exquisite, everything you want in a self catering unit, plenty of parking, if I was in Kriel again, that is my first choice, cos there is no other.

Best place to stay in this kak town

It really is value for money. My only problem is the lady that lives on the premises is always demanding when it comes to payments. We are not going to steal money and not pay you, so please don’t leave sny and sarcastic comments if we haven’t paid yet (before the first night’s sleep this happened). We have spent a lot of money at Windpomp in the last year, the lady knows us well but still treats us in this awkward manner (with the usual comment). The accommodation is really great but please just be accommodating!

A wonderful "Home from Home", for about 4 (far too short) months. The rooms are immaculate and the standard of furnishing is first class. Small touches like a flower on your towels after a busy day set this establishment apart. By far the best Guesthouse within 50km of Kriel. The couple who stay on the premises are always obliging and never intrusive. Windpomp is first class in every respect.
