As
far
as
national
botanical
gardens
go,
this
is
probably
one
of
the
best
in
SA.
WONDERFUL
play
area
for
the
kids,
with
shaded
benches
nearby.
Pathways
are
abundant,
with
stunning
views.
Upon
entering
the
park
(at
the
kiosk)
you
should
ask
about
the
river
walk
-
it
is
required
to
let
them
know
if
you
do
take
the
short
hike
for
safety
reasons.
The
raised
walkway
through
the
forest
and
across
the
river
is
an
awesome
experience
for
adults
and
kids
alike.
Be
weary
of
some
of
the
walkways
in
shady
areas
-
they
do
tend
to
be
a
bit
slippery,
especially
when
wet.
Flora
is
diverse
and
lush,
even
in
winter!
Varieties
and
examples
from
all
over
africa.
Well
tended
gardens
and
lawns.
Loads
of
insects
and
birds
to
see
(especially
sunbirds).
Grounds
keepers
are
friendly
and
do
a
stellar
job
of
ensuring
a
litter
free
area
-
please
do
the
same.
