If you love wildlife, this park is a must. It boasts the big five and never disappoints. If possible stay at one of the rest camps in the park as it will allow you some extra time in the park. The roads are well maintained and the game plentiful. Keep to the suggested speed limit as antelope do cross the road unexpectedly and without warning. I would also suggest you keep a safe distance from the elephants as they can be very protective of their young.

The heart of Africa ♡ All tourists cannot leave SA without going to Kruger. The best and most worthwhile National Park in the country! We saw millions of different types of animals and had the best time.

It is the best time of the year to go. I got lucky to spot all big five beside rhino, make sure you go in early enough to spot hyena and wild dogs from Phabeni gate. That was where I spotted them, you can also spot them hunting in early morning if you are extremely lucky. All in all. It was a good trip

I love Kruger. Very special place. Drive slowly and be kind to the animals. Takk to the guides and say thank you for their work. Do not litter and do not make noise. You also should not be drinking and driving.

Does not matter when you go.. You will see some of the big five animals if not all of them. So amazing to see God's creations up close and ecperience them in a natural habitat

We had a phenomenal time on the several game drives we did at Kruger. Our guide/driver was very knowledgeable and did a great job of spotting the animals and getting us close enough for a good view. We spotted elephant, giraffe, lions, water buffaloes, hyenas, a cheetah, gazelle, zebra and dozens of other animals and birds.

A great experience You need to start the day off early in order to make the most of the park and to be able to travel a good distance on the day. Unfortunately on the day of visiting we saw a lot of the same animals. Nevertheless a great experience whilst in SA. I would recommend to do the safari. We had a tour guide who was very knowledgeable

I stayed here for 4 nights. Probably the best experience I’ve ever had. The rangers were excellent and very informative. Spotted many animals, except lions. Very hygienic and cleanly. I did go in the month of August, which is their winter, so I found the weather and climate to be perfect, and avoided all the creepy crawlers!

My happy place ! Truly a lovely park that it’s so easy to spend hours and hours driving around looking at all these beautiful animals roaming around. So lucky to spot the big five all of them as well as all the other animals possible. Summer is a lovely time to go very hot though in the park but you see everything almost every time . staying inside the park is also a bonus if possible. Definite must if your visiting South Africa for the first time !!

First and best Kruger National Park experience! Almost got all the big 5 in one day😄 which is rare, considering Ingot both the lion and rhino in one day. Great trip to disconnect from the day to day business. Enjoy it all, capture some photos but leave some views to stay on your own memory❤️

Amazing place with a wide variety of wildlife. We were lucky to come across the big five and lots of many other animals! Do bring binoculars as sometimes the animals can be far away. For amateur photographers like me, the photos I took were using 50mm-400mm lens. Generally good enough to capture most animals. Can be a little challenging if you are just using your iPhone as many of the wild cats and birds can be quite far. I did a 5 day tour which allowed me to view only a small part of the park. Also my first experience so I would think it was sufficient. Will definitely return for longer periods! It is recommended if you are looking for a bigger park that’s close to Cape-town!

We were last here before Mugg & Bean opened in the Park. This was very refreshing from the poor food options previously available in the park, especially when you couldn’t bring your own. The roads are good and we saw 3 of the big 5 and lots of springboks. We had a herd of elephants block us off on road before closing time which gave some excitement and sense of adventure.

As always, exceptional experience in most rest camps and trails. Animals seem very healthy. Trading posts are a bit expensive for the every day South African so bring enough food and clothing and get souvenirs from the trading posts. Overall , most staff are friendly , courteous and helpful. Enjoy every sunset, every day!

It may be the most commercialized Park in Africa, but it is also one of the best managed parks in Africa, and still the most rewarding of all Africa's game reserves. And it remains one of the premier National Parks anywhere in the world.

The best non private national park for wildlife in South Africa. Its a vast area which has the Big 5 of south Africa. Lion, cheetah, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo. I would suggest to have a guided safari instead of opting for a self drive as the guides have a fair idea of the area and the spotting of the previous days. Kruger has some amazing resort and stays which offer wildlife safaris too. Amazing Experience!! Loved it

Krüger National Park is South Africa's most famous wildlife reserve. During a safari, the tourist has the feeling of being in a kind of Garden of Eden because of the large number of animals moving in front of the camera. The "Big Five" are all there are: buffalo, elephants, leopards, lions and rhinos. A world class conservation programme also means you will encounter wildebeest, zebra, giraffe as well as big cats of all kinds.

The best place in the whole world. If you love the wilderness then there is no better place for you. Well maintained park with good roads and an amazing sighting waiting for you around the corner. The abundance of game and birdlife will not leave you disappointed. It is just not about the big 5 but the whole experience which is indescribable. Everyone should experience this once during their lifetime. Great network of rest camps inside the park is convenient and adds to the experience. Have been there 3 times in the span of 14 months and cannot wait to be the park again.

Famous for big five. Elephants are the most famous. It is amazing to the big groups of the wild animals, protective Elephant or Giraffe or Zebra parents. Lions are very rare to see. The area of the Savana is huge, at least 2 full day safaris are needed to get a glimpse of it. There are lots colorful birds too. Best way to reach the park is renting a car from Johannesburg. Other than that there are several travel agencies who organize Kruger trip.

We had a wonderful but short lived experience, limited to a half day in the park but still managed to get some really great photos and see many animals. Next time I would fly to Kruger versus driving from joburg and would hire a private guide and vehicle. Otherwise, a memorable experience! Good times. We started at sunrise when the gate opened.

This place couldn’t get any more cool. If you’re visiting check your guest houses wisely. The food and service vary widely as well as which animals are in each region. But the place itself is incredible. We saw hundreds of common animals, dozens of the more difficult ones and at least one of all the epic ones besides a cheetah. They do well, do good, and you’re keeping the rhinos alive by coming. So give it a chance.

We booked to enter the park online, but they would not let us in because because we were 4 people in the car. We asked for a refund and they would not refund the money. Do not go to the kruger national park, they are a bunch of corrupt theifs and you can see better wildlife from surrounding parks.

Unbelievable Park full of all kinds of birds and animals and reptiles. Highly recommended. The park is huge with many camps 2 stay for the night. You have to book the camps way in advance. Like one year. But it is worth it. The prices are great. The accommodations are pretty sparse but you get nice bed and shower just when you need it. Everything is clean. At least they were when we were there end 2011. You go to see the big famous animals like elephants and lions and giraffe, but the birds life is incredible also and so are all the smaller animals.

Saw the big 5 in one day, as well as cheetah, wild dog and hyena, what a experience. It's something you cannot explain to anyone unless they have been there and seen it. Also saw rhino. The guards are doing a very good job and protecting the rhino's. This is one of the world's greatest gems. Paul kruger truly out did himself, if it wernt for him very few places would be left with such incredible wild life diversity. Staff, guards and people in general are incredible and amazing, kind and friendly. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Amazing place! We made a safari there with “African Spears” and everything was so smooth. We could only see 2 of the big 5 but it was totally worth it, i would love to go back! You can see the animals in the wild, resting, eating, walking, taking a nap, etc. They are used to the 4x4 vehicles so they do not harm you, you just have to stay quiet every time you see an animal so they do not become scared. The park has a lot of lodges to stay the night there and some stops so you can grab something to eat, go to the restroom, etc. Loved it!

Kruger National Park is an absolutely incredible destination that is definitely worth visiting! Located in the heart of South Africa, this park boasts breathtaking scenery and an incredible array of wildlife that is sure to leave visitors in awe. One of the main highlights of Kruger National Park is its incredible diversity. Home to the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo), this park is also home to a huge number of other species, including giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and a huge variety of birds. Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast or just looking to connect with nature, you're sure to find something that captures your interest! Another great thing about Kruger National Park is the range of activities on offer. From guided game drives and bush walks to night drives and birding tours, there are endless ways to explore this stunning wilderness area. There are also a number of great camps and lodges within the park, offering comfortable accommodation and excellent food. Overall is a good experience however, we have been on safari’s on private properties that have a lot of animal hunting is forbidden and was a much better experience as we could drove off the roads and properly see the animals. Therefore, if you have an option to go in private safaris, I believe would be much better than going to the park.

it seems that the Kruger is very healthy with abundance of life. the accommodation was very clean in all the rest camps and the staff was exceptional. from all the SANparks that we have visited, this one is by far the best managed park. was such a nice place to visit and highly recommend it to everyone. thank you Kruger for giving us an unforgettable experience.

Awesome! We rode in a safari-car with a good guide that knew his stuff. He let us guess facts about the animals and kept us entertained. They put blankets on every seat that really came in handy. We stopped at some service areas to eat, where you as well could buy souvenirs and snacks etc. Unfortunately we didn’t see any lions or rhinos. Only saw three of the big five. However, it is a trip I would recommend!

If you are looking for the best outdoor experience to relax your mind away from the city whilst surrounded by beautiful trees, game reserves and different animals including the big five. Then look no further as Kruger National Park offers 5 star game reserves, game drives and whole lot of wild life experience with very friendly staff members to make your stay worth every cent you spent and more.

We have visited Kruger National Park for many years. This latest visit shows the failure of another national entity. I’m not sure if there is any competent management left at SANPARK. The private game reserves are attracting international tourists, not this once thriving national park. Roads and bridges have fallen down and are ignored. Huge concrete pipes probably ordered when tenders were awarded now sit on the ground. Not sure if they will be used to repair damaged infrastructure, Groups of people sitting in the grass are testament to the lack of governance AND LACK of predators. Have the lions etc, been sold?? How can park employees be in the wilderness with no rangers? Does Kruger have any rangers left? Very disturbing and incredibly sad to see the state of Kruger National Park. The huge herds of springbok also begs the question of where is management? Should culling be done?

Its a very enormous wild....you can't finish it in one day. We went early in the morning and were lucky to spot three of the big 5. During the day it's hard to spot the animals. For the best upclose look of lions I would recommend lion and safari park in northwest. In kruger it's all about luck of spotting the interesting animals.

Kruger National Park, in northeastern South Africa, is one of Africa’s largest game reserves. Its high density of wild animals includes the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Hundreds of other mammals make their home here, as do diverse bird species such as vultures, eagles and storks. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the landscape

(Translated by Google) Open your eyes and go ... just very exciting! We are lucky to see what the laws of nature look like - if you are weaker you have to be careful ... also experienced "dramatic" moments - would never drive there with a small car, rangers always know what to do! Kruger park has always been our favourite getaway in SA. Winter time is the best to go as you will see a lot of animals compare to summer. We saw all the big 5 in the first two days..we are so lucky!! We stay at one of the lodge at the Olifants rest camp. Very basic but since you will be on the road whole day so this is not really matter. Some maintenance will definitely needed as the lodge is really oudated. Make sure you bring ur own foos supplies and proper eating supplies i.e cutleries plate etc as the shop just have the basics and quite pricey. Overall, we always enjoyed our stay in Kruger Park!

We enjoyed our best trip ever to Kruger. The game put on a wonderful display. We stayed at Skukuza which although a large busy and rather dusty camp is surrounded by game-rich drives. We had a peaceful breakfast on the restaurant deck at Skukuza. Bought delicious cakes at the deli near the "train on the bridge". Then we enjoyed 2 nights at Tamboti tented camp.the safari tents are well spaced in bush along the banks of the Timbavati River. This camp is close to Orpen Gate - that camp has had a facelift since I first stayed there decades ago. Kruger offers so many different experiences besides the game &the staff and park were so welcoming.

If you have ever wanted to experience a game reserve with abundant wildlife, Kruger Park is amongst the best there is. A true African Experience which will stay with you forever. If you cannot find accommodation in the park, Hazyview which is 9km from Phabeni gate, has plenty of overnight options. There are various options to explore the Kruger Park including bush walks with a guide. Contact us for more information.

One of the best experiences of my life. All the animals are there and are skittish considering there are wild. Will definitely come back again. I'm even planning to make it a yearly occasion.

Facilities in some areas a bit dated (ablution blocks), but otherwise all the new additions, restaurants, wildlife, services and staff were very friendly and accommodating! It has been my dream to go since I was much younger and finally made it there! Can’t wait to return! Maybe I will still become a game ranger one day - my childhood dream!

Awesome experience and seeing all the animals. The food in the southern part of the park is quite affordable and tasty. After spending 3 hours at the park we were able to see nearly every animal imaginable besides lions. We left the park shortly after.

If you are a local, you'll keep coming back. If not, you'll definitely want to. The Sanparks do a great job with accommodations and the thrill of being able to spot a magnificent being in the wild is unending.

What to say about this amazing national park that gathers all kind of impressive wild animals… we could see leopards, lions, giraffes, many elephants, etc… the scenery is also incredible. Do not miss it.

Kruger park was definitely the highlight of our South Africa trip, we had the chance to see so many gorgeous animals wandering around ! Sunset safari was definitely the highlight because the lighting was just perfect for pictures and there was something magical in the air with the sunset behind animals ! We haven’t had the chance to see a total big five, lions were shy when we were there :-( but we saw so many animals that it doesn’t matter ! We had the chance to be alone with our guide for most of our safaris by luck… but going back we would definitely make sure to pay extra for it to be like this again !

I was only lucky enough to be in the park for 1 day, but in the greater Kruger area for 5 nights. -Full day Kruger tour with My africa adventures from Hoedspruit. About 1 hour drive from Hoedspruit to Orpen gate to the south. -Saw 4 of the 5 "big 5" on this day in kruger. Missing only the Rhino, (saw 2 leopards). As well as many other animals. -The land scape was very mixed, we went from trees, to savanna, to river, to hills. Very good pictures. was here in Nov and landscape was green. -Good infrastructure in the park, paved roads, high end camps in the parks with good sit down restaurants. That is one thing i didnt expect, the paved roads in the park, but they are spaced out so much that the animals dont notice and have places to hide from cars. Animals walk across the road infront of you, hyenas make dens in the drain pipes going across under the road. -There is alot of other vehicles in the park, and when there is a leopard or lion sighting, then you can find many cars parked around the animal. Overall a great time in Kruger park. If i knew more before i went, i would have stayed at one of the camps inside Kruger park at least 1 night. Day trip was still nice.

A day just pass by without even noticing that you've been there since 4am, best place to be preferably Autumn so the animals can be more visible from the distance
