We had great fun. We visited the magic company and played a lot of fun games. After that we went to watch a movie. The cinema was very clean. We watched it in 3D and the screen was very clear. The staff was very helpful. Always willing to help. I would recommend going for a rainy day. We had lots of fun and spent minimum monies.

I only got the opportunity to visit this place for a very short period as I stayed overnight at the Stayeasy Hotel across from the Ridge casino. The place was very neat and clean. There is a bowling alley and game room for the kids by the magic company. The casino is really small with a bar area and a smoking area on the casino floor. There aren't many restaurants as there is a mall right next door. I'm not sure if you have to exit the casino to enter the mall, but there was a staircase leading in the direction of the mall.

It's not the same anymore. The Casino floor is loud and visitors are dressed in t-shirts and slacks. I miss the days when you got glammed up for a VIP experience without spending your life savings. I picked up a wallet at the entrance and handed it to the Festival Desk without a thank you.🙈🙈🙈

It's a beautiful place that brings people who want to try their luck together. I didn't gamble, I went in with a friend and ended up having lunch at Cuban.

The Ridge Casino and Hotel, is a little Gem located just off the N12 highway in a small town, Witbank. This place is a great break away from the hustle and bustle of a Johannesburg, with a drive of only a hour and 20 minutes. The casino is not massive nor small, it seems to be the ‘right size’ for the venue/resort. The resort has everything one needs on one site, a mall with various restaurants etc. The rooms in the hotel are average, nothing spectacular but very comfortable. My only suggestion (and the reason for the point deduction), is when a couple is booked into a hotel room, there is only 1 towel in the bathroom, there is only 2 pillows on the bed (if you like me and used to 2 pillows per person on the bed, then you will battle with this). The room is almost catered for a single person (1 mug, 1 bottle of water and a kettle - no coffee, tea or sugar is supplied). I understand that we are still in Level 1 lockdown but little things are over looked that could make life just that little bit more comfortable for the guest. Other than this, the resort is the perfect get away for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Gauteng.

The food there was horrible, seafood could cause you food poisoning. People should not hide behind COVID19 and do their work. I couldn't make a different between fish and beef. I had to resort go dry pizza, I think was standing there since 11:00 in the morning. I was very disappointed that the hotel is gone down so drastically. If I had a choice I wouldn't have eaten there. I don't I will recommend this hotel to my family, colleagues and friends in future.

The standard of this hotel has gradually dropped from when I started booking 8 years ago for work. With my recent bookings being a nightmare, from hotel booking staff getting my booking all wrong to generally poor service standards and with the latest one being the hotel forcing corporates to book B&B without an option of Bed only.

At the hotel, They locked us out, and one of the locals said it was too dangerous to walk around. It took a long time for the security to open for us. They refused me to speak to the manager. A previous time I stayed here, I also had poor service. Such a pity, because it is convenient and actually a nice place.

Billy G's Dinner Reservation I made a telephonic booking well upfront Woman who assited was not well informed on telephone etiquette to deal with customers. Arrived - nobody came to assist with drinks. We had to go look for someone to take our drinks order after 30min since arrival. Food was good - but once again - no assistance - we had to go look for someone to assist at the food counter. Receptionist and front staff needs training in customer service. Complements to the chefs and kitchen staff for the food.

If they could reduce music volume in hotel resturants, passages, foyer and outside. Music too loud especially if you are on a business or work related visit to the hotel. Otherwise hotel is clean, has friendly staff and resturants are good.

Try and call the ridge, 15 min ringing no answer. Then again 8 min. Got eventually through, ask for security office, another 15 min ringing, thank goodness I didn't have a emergency, they would respond after my body is decomposed . The cheap hotelsysy easy, you can se d your staff there for training g message to southern sun. Enron's also thought they cabt go down.

Great place for the entire family entertainment

I loved spending my time at The Magic Company. The vibe is very vibrant and lively during peak hours and especially during the weekends. I am a DanceDance Revolution fan so it was quite a welcome surprise that the arcade has the machine. This marks my nearest access to the game. Will be visiting again soon.

The place looks very clean and decent from the outside, however there are a lot of people who want to try their luck in the Casino, making a lot of up and downs. The room was nice. Breakfast was very delicious 😋😋😋😋. Loved it. 👌👌👌

The banqueting team has a very lethargic response to enquiries. Sent several follow up emails and got no response. Called and I was told someone will get back to me, no one did. Eventually managed to arranged a site visits and they were unprepared. Engaged again after the site visit and received no feedback for 2 weeks. A really exhausting exercise!
