This is a beauty of a rustic place!!! The inner restaurant leads to a bridge that's cross over to a large market type area filled with wooden picnic tables. This special day we have live music as well. They have a great gin menu with many infusions to choose from. As well as a craft beer section. Definitely a must do! Food menu great too with a variety for all tastes. Great place to bring a bridesmaid or baby shower. The space is large enough for a party without affecting the entire venue. Service was friendly and timely. Food portions are fantastic and priced well. We had ordered bacon and avo pizza, chicken schnitzel, garlic salami pizza and a salad that could feed two!!!!

Eish, we really had a great time. Beer 🍺 specials and awesome food. Slider 🍔 burgers were amazing, The 🥩 steaks were delightful. Highly recommended, Especially with the playing area, @R60/child, definitely worth it.

Great place for the whole family. Roaring fireplace keeps things cosy during the winter chill. Outside is another open area for more lekker eats and company. Interesting tunnel takes the younglings to the dedicated play area. Please note there is an extra charge for that per person, height restriction controlled. Interesting booths with various charging ports. For those inclined, you can even hook up hdmi to the little TV to watch some stuff. Extensive menu in an old fashioned newspaper. Very kewl. Had the lamb half bunny. Great stuff but wish the lamb had more heat (fire) to eat. Great comfort food in this winter chill.

I'm a fussy eater. I'm vegan and believe in good old fashioned service. I've spent 4 days here and enjoyed 5 meals at Eish. This afternoon I thought I'd be adventurous and ate at another restaurant which was much more expensive. Sadly their food was below par, and their service disastrous. So here I am again, enjoying another delicious meal, served quickly and accurately by such professional and friendly staff and management.Thank you Senzi and Eish team and management.

Had a great time, but was a bit irritated, due to the fact that we booked a table 2 mnths in advance, and then had to stand for almost 10 minutes in the centre of the floor, with tables all around, (and out names on the floor) so the waiter/s can bring us a table. Brought a cafè table and centred it smack in the middle of long tables full of people, and then gave us two chairs. Nevermind that we couldn't move our chairs forward or backwards at all.. Frustrating!! And we actually booked it in advance...😒 Food was good though, service was meh and the Bok v Blerk show was excellent!

We came here during the Misty Waters Festival weekend. We didn’t like the choices they had on the festival mini-menu so we walked over to the restaurant for a wider choice. Great pizza! Awesome service! Nice vibe. We’ll be back next year. :)

After this place was recommended to us we decided to try it out.....very mixed feelings... We got there..not very welcoming as they take temperature and details...weren't even told who will help us.. the person just dissapeared without another word..as we walked (ourselves) to be seated, another waitress appeared as they saw we were clearly in need of assistance and came to seat us... Even though the welcome was very,very lukewarm and halfhearted....the food was nice...

Food was great. Took forever to arrive and worth the wait I suppose. Also has nice view if you sit outside.

I've been threatening to go to Eish! for years, and when I eventually got the opportunity, I was nót disappointed. I will definitely go back there again. Excellent pizza and iced coffee!

Truly a South African Kitchen! Love the food and there is enough space for the kiddies to play. If you don't like crowds, don't go when theres an event at the waterfront. They can get packed quickly!

So we arrived at 20:30 the waiter was watching soccer we had to find sits for ourselves he came and didn’t greet the only thing he said was they are closing at 10 mins you it was half past eight I had the best experiences at eish but today was the worst poor services we left immediately coz the guy seemed disinterested

All in all good food and good service, but I do get the feeling that the standard has dropped just slightly. The waiters are not as neat as they used to be and they come across blunt and not friendly and helpful. The overall "family restaurant" vibe is also lacking.

Ordered a potjiekos meal on a cold day and it was both filling and hearty. The service was excellent aswell. The fireplace is a golden touch because the area gets very cold in winter.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Listen in detail to your requests and requirements. I ordered the Cheddarmelt Mushroom Chicken Schnitzel and it was as advertised. Cheese sauce with mushrooms, not often that you get that, and the portion was human related and not beast as at some other places that you can't finish it.

Great place for younger people or older people who don't mind the noise. It's too busy for my liking, but the place is generally packed with people of all ages.

Secunda really doesn't have a lot to offer, but this is probably one of the best restaurants in town. The play area for the kids is especially impressive, as well as the deck where they usually have live music/performers
