Went to this diner and from the entry it felt like an American diner. The atmosphere was very warm and it was clear that the customers was having a great time. It was really tasty food and the experiene was unforgettable. The service was friendly and very good. Well worth a visit....even if it is just for the great milkshakes.

Currently sitting in grub house .... Experiencing the worse service this place ever had! First we were served the incorrect drinks order. Then we had to wait over 1 hour for food, the tables that came after us received their food first. When the food eventually came it was so cold, the patties were burnt. We asked for the manager and an unfriendly Ashley came to the table .... Asked us how hot are we expecting the food and inappropriately took the food away from us. He expected us to wait a further 30 min for hot food. He then walked away from the table while we were still speaking to him. Very disappointing.... Going home hungry!

Had to wait 20min for waiter to come back after being seated. Eventually went myself to go get another waiter so we could order milkshakes. Happy with the freak milkshakes

Since i went there its the only place i want to go. I don't like to wait for food but there I will wait anytime coz food is great prices is great and atmosphere is great. Keep your place like that please. Great job you guys

Yummy burgers and pizza and the wing special is so worth it. Loaded fries also get the thumbs up from me. You have to do the fish bowls, such fun!

The management and especially the supervisors are semi gods there. They bully and I'll treat the poor waiters and waitresses there. That spoils the whole mood of patrons. The food is great way above super.

I usually order the kiddies meal, chicken strips and chips for the litte one and I am really happy with the portion size. Today I've ordered 2 of the same chicken strips and chips but for take away and when we opened it at home I was shocked at the portion size. I've also ordered 2 boxes of chip. When I asked the lady what the portion size was she showed me the box. When I opened the box it wasn't even half filled. The first photo will be the dine in meal (happy customer) The second wil be the same kiddies meal but take away. So the 1st and 2nd photo is supposed to be the same meal portion size. The third photo is the take away chips

The service was horrible. You need to appoint more and proper waiters! They put 4 milkshakes down and left, haven't seen any one again to place an order for food or ask for the other 2 childrens milkshakes, 45 mins later. Were 2 adults and 6 kids. Sitting with very unhappy kids. Then they wanted to jump when I got upset and climb out of my character. I don't usually loose my cool, I don't like it, but if you sit with 2 kids, upset, because the others are drinking they milkshakes infront of them, thinking they not going to get any, because no one is attending, it is not nice.

The butter-me-up smoothy is the bomb-digidy, furthermore the drinks and food are well priced for what you get and also great tasting.

My wife went with her mother. After 30 mins of waiting to be served got up and left without ordering, the place was empty. The waiters didn't like the fact she interrupted their conversation. What kind of service is this

Went there for the first time yesterday. All I can say is Pretoria has needed this for a long long time. The food is impeccable, amazing tasting, great portions for very reasonable prices. The waiters are all very friendly, I felt immediately at home and kept on being blown away by the food. I am a burger addict, I've tried every place that makes a decent burger in Pretoria and so far I am very happy to say The Grub House has taken that #1 spot. Delicious, fresh, perfect ratios of ingredients. Burger lovers this is your mecca.

Small Towns have the best food and that's a theory I've proven. The burgers, ribs and wings were delectable. The portions were also quite big for the price we paid, but hey I'm not complaining. The service was okay. The only disappointing thing I had was the Hot Chocolate, it was so weak that I even regretted getting it. Other than that, a really nice joint👍
