👍 Had my FRIENDS graduation party there. The park was very clean. There were places for kids to play, bathrooms, a pavilion, and last but not least wheel chair accessible picnic tables! People often mention park,

Though I enjoyed this area much more as a child , when it was woods, it's a nice little park. The couple times I have gone, no one else around.

Hale Park is a small, relatively unknown, and comfortable park. It can accommodate small to medium sized groups for varied get togethers and parties. A covered pavilion provides shelter, and a tennis and basketball court can be used for those who choose to play. A large grassy area is also available for other games. Clean restrooms are on the property, and parking is adequate for such groups.

There are no signs saying dogs aren’t allowed until you get back toward the tennis/basketball courts and even then it looks like it’s implied for just those areas. There was a woman there with her kids that called the cops on us for having our dogs there briefly. The cop was super nice about everything. The woman seemed to up and vanish until we were getting everyone loaded back into the car, watching us like a hawk. She tried to throw us off her scent by saying our dogs were cute. We’re not stupid, lady. I genuinely feel sorry for her that she has to find some kind of satisfaction in life by doing things like that. We were nowhere near your kids. It wasn’t an issue.

Following covid procedures. Food was delicious but we order cheesecake and the slice was VERY small. I would have been embarrassed to serve it.

👍 Looking for where to park? Take Green Tree road to Crestmont Dr. It's a short, nice neighborhood street. Drive to end of Crestmont. There you will see park entrance and billboard with map, etc. Just park on side of street. There is a set of clean playground swings; along with picnic table, slightly...
